Disclaimer: I study geology and have a caffeine addiction, so having a fossil themed coffee place is a dangerously wonderful combination!!! The cafe is clean and sports a lovely fossil themed ambience that gives just enough info about the Cambrian period. The staff is super friendly and provide great service. The coffee blends are well balanced where added sweetners only enhance the flavor of the coffee you choose. And their sausage rolls are nice and flaky with flavorful sausage filling. Can't wait to come here again!

Drink: I ordered their shaken espresso with Cambrian syrup (honey & cinnamon) and it was delicious. My only qualm is that I personally prefer my coffee a bit stronger so I’ll remember to add an extra shot of espresso next time. Other than my own personal preference, it was an incredible drink. Service: Staff was so friendly and dealt with me being a bit distracted my first time by all the fun merch they had lying around and answered questions I had with patience and kindness. Atmosphere: This place has a lot of seating for the small space which is a plus to those looking to relax and sip on one of their tasty beverages. The entire shop is decked out in a geological timescale theme, with cute trilobites, dinosaurs, and other things found among the fossil records. It’s a perfect spot for any coffee loving geology obsessed person out there. Overall: Great experience that will have me returning even if it isn’t super close to my own place. I highly recommend to any coffee lover and geology enthusiast.

This place has the best nitro cold brew in the city full stop. One of the best overall coffee shops in the city, I guess the parking could be better and the seating could be more comfortable but worth it even with its short comings.

It’s nice area well lit in here. It’s got some high tops, bar seating, some picnic table style seating and the traditional 1:1 seating and 4tops along the exterior glass side. If you had a large group of even 12, they could sit comfortably in the middle. The metal chair seating isn’t in my vibe because it doesn’t make you want to stay that long, but their hours are not extended anyway. I cannot believe I finally made it into the shop to have their Cambrian latte which they’re really famous for with honey and 2 shots. The Coffee is excellent. The vibe is clean and neat. It’s probably my new favorite coffee shop in the spring branch area and not overrun with students or loud kids. Their hours are 7 to 3, which means they do business their way, at their time, and if you want to come and get their coffee, you need to make it within their hours of operation. The layout feels something like a summer camp or like a natural history museum shop cafe. They have dinosaurs galore and a gigantic geological time scale poster mural thingy. It’s cute. It’s unassuming. It’s well cared for. All their baristas looked like they loved working here and they were friendly and made eye contact. I’ll have to try their pastries next time! One of the best coffee shops in houston Several pastries all baked in house, rotating flavors. I love that they emphasize less sweet in their special drinks and their pastries They have good savory pastries (hard to find) the cheese and chive scone was fantastic I also got the cowboy cookie - extremely good and not too sweet - you don't feel sleepy after. I got the summer special latte with blueberry syrup and a cold brew as well. The latte was nice since it wasn't overwhelming with syrup had a nice flavor. The cold brew was Also good. Everything was slightly cheaper when I compared to other top coffee shops by about 50 cents. Makes a big difference imo. Interior is a cool theme as well Cambrian period themed

I absolutely love Cambrian! One of the rare places where you can really tell a community loves the place. I love their seasonal menu and the staff is so amazing. My favorite coffee shop for a long time so I wanted to finally leave a review! It’s the perfect option for your go to coffee shop. Their shortbread is my favorite and the Cambrian latte!

We drove well out of our way to visit this coffee shop and it did not disappoint! Line went quickly and wasn’t super long - got a coffee, a matcha, a lemon loaf, and 2 sausage rolls. Everything was delicious - coffee was made super well and matcha was smooth and not too sweet - sausage rolls were the stars - well seasoned and warm. The atmosphere was great - the whole place seems to be geologist themed and tastefully is an ode to scientific and historical exploration which is fun for adults and kids alike. Lots of tables available and friendly staff.

Cambrian Coffee is a great spot for coffee lovers and history buffs alike. The espresso-based drinks are exceptional, expertly crafted by knowledgeable baristas. The rich, flavorful coffee pairs perfectly with their delectable pastries and snacks, especially the mouthwatering sausage rolls. The shop's unique Cambrian theme adds a touch of historical charm, making it an ideal spot for history buffs to immerse themselves in the past while enjoying their coffee. The ambiance is perfect for focused work or leisurely relaxation. In my opinion, Cambrian Coffee is the undisputed best coffee shop in the Spring Branch area, offering a combination of great coffee, delicious food, and a unique atmosphere that sets it apart from the rest.

Cute little dino themed coffee shop! There is a good amount of seating inside, but it was very busy when we came. The hot lavender honey latte and iced honey latte were both great and the man making the drinks was super nice 🥰 Not too many food options. They do have several homemade syrups!

A great addition to the SB neighborhood. I like to stop by for a quick coffee fix. Plenty of tables but it was quite crowded when I was there, a mix of people hanging out, studying, or working. I love the open lighting from the all glass wall. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered my go-to ice chai and it was delish. Plenty of parking in the plaza strip and convenient location in the area. Wish they stay open a bit later in the day but understandably they close early because of they open pretty early in the day.

Oh my goodness I absolutely adore this breakfast spot!! The drinks are delicious and I got the Blueberry Cobbler mini loaf and holy loaf it was SO YUMMY!! The workers are phenomenal and absolutely know their stuff!! And they have this sweet coffee coin thing(see photo) and cool little pins and hand drawn stickers! And those soaps smell ... incredible...wow. Just obsessed with everything about this place!! 10 outta 10! Absolutely recommend!

What a neat little spot! The owner was super warm and his energy was contagious. So many community members came in and were welcomed by name. Sausage roll was delicious. I’ve never had anything quite like that before. Coffee was great too, of course. The little cake was spot on. This place is a gem. All of the art and the info on the walls were such a unique touch. I loved a chance to learn a bit while enjoying breakfast with my wife.

Great Coffee, but Not Ideal for Working Stopped by Cambrian Coffee and really enjoyed their flat white & sausage roll. There’s plenty of seating, which is great if you’re meeting friends or just want a casual spot to hang out. The space was quite loud, making it difficult to focus or get any work done. It also lacks that cozy, inviting atmosphere I usually look for in a café when I want to sit down with my laptop or a book. This is not the best choice if you’re looking for a quiet place to study or work.

Coffee was great! The gentleman who took my order, excellent. Free WiFi to ATTEMPT to get some work done. I say that to say this; The young lady cleaning the lobby appeared to hate her job. She was slamming things and dragging chairs constantly for about 30mins straight. She was so loud it was hard to continue working in there. I even told my colleague how loud it was with her dragging the chairs across the floor and slamming them back into place. Apparently she didn’t like what I said and she purposely started doing it louder and looking at me as she did it. This was around 245p on 3/3. Even her co-workers started looking at her as she continued. Because of that, I won’t be back but I’m sure it doesn’t matter to this establishment but it was worth mentioning for anyone who may be looking for a quiet space to work.
