New residents to the Houston area! On a suggestion from a family friend, we decided to try Perry's for Thanksgiving. We were quite impressed! Great food! Wonderful staff! Excellent ambiance! We can't wait to return for lunch/dinner. My husband says Perry's Steakhouse is now in our "dining out" rotation. I agree!! 😊
Perry's Steakhouse & Grille was great as usual. The pork chops bits are amazingly delicious. They are tender, smokey, and sweet. The seafood stuffed mushrooms are great. The salad was amazingly fresh and delicious. We ate the most buttery Mash Potatoes and creamed spinach. We love the sides. The bacon Wrapped shrimp are EXCELLENT!!! The tri steak is just enough of each selection. The show stopper, of course, is the huge port Chop that one person can't eat in one seating. Our server went over and beyond to ensure we had an excellent dining experience. He was helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable about all themeals. Thank you
It's Perry's, what's not to love. We had great service and the food was amazing. My only issue is that I made a reservation and we were seated in the bar area. It was really a non-issue because our server was outstanding. And forget the dress code, there was a lady with shorts as short as underwear, wow.
My husband took me here to celebrate our wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve. Neither of us had ever been and it was rather lovely. The ambiance was very pleasing to my eyes and ears and the food was cooked to perfection. I am unsure if I've ever had a better ribeye. I am happy that we went and know that we will be back!
We went on Valentines day with a reservation. We're they overbooked? Of course! Yes we got our table about half an hour after our time but that's fine it's to be expected. The service was fantastic! A little slow but it was busy what do you expect! I had the pork chop, I really don't like pork chops but decided to try it and that was the best piece of meat I have ever eaten! So flavorful! Potatoes were amazing!!! My borfriend had the steak and it had such good flavor and not tough at all! The wedge salad was also so good! The cheesecake was to die for! What a great experience! Yes it was pricey but well worth it!
Went for combo birthday and mother's day after the fact. Had a card on the table when seated. Had an issue with one of the appetizers. Manager came out and took care of it. Wasn't expected but comped the appetizer and the awesome chocolate cherry cake. The food was delicious. Really nice treat for my special occasion.
What can one say about Perry’s steakhouse. It is an absolute treasure to go to if you’re in the area. I would highly recommend it. The one thing I would recommend is that you go to lunch because you can get the pork chops special for $16. However the dinner pork chops special is quite large and you can expect a meal for two or even three people. I would plan accordingly the second thing is the absolutely amazing pineapple ginger ale is one that I would highly recommend that you plan for. Secondly I would highly recommend the Seabass is the flavor is absolutely incredible not to mention the internal temperature in the seasoning along with it is excellently pared. The wicked mashed potatoes were buttery and light well yet dense enough to be delicious. The lobster mac & cheese had an absolutely exquisite flavor, The cheese sauce was a rich creamy sauce with a lot of deep cheese flavor. The noodles were well done and perfectly temp, the lobster was fantastic and it was a perfect pairing for the style of mac & cheese.
Our server was superb. Steak and salmon were perfectly cooked. Unfortunately the food was over-salted. (A common problem in many restaurants.) The salmon was (almost) inedible despite being fresh and perfectly cooked. (I honestly think many patrons would have sent it back.) If it had not been for the brilliant wedge salad, lobster bisque and the perfect crème Brûlée the evening would have been rough.
The server Joey was amazing, he was very attentive. Joey made sure our drinks stayed full and even was there to refold the napkins when we got up. The food is very pricey but the serving size is just enough. It's very proportioned in what the typical person is supposed to eat serving wise. They give you just enough to fill you up but not over stuff you.
Had lovely time today at Perry service was outstanding and so was my waitress Jamie. When we arrived so did my neighbors and we all wanted to sit together and our reservation was for 2 . Jamie quickly accommodated our request and we all sat together and enjoyed our lunch. She even cut my pork chop for me. Service wa 10/10 from the hostess to the waitstaff everything was amazing.
Perry's to date has always been on point. Great, service and taste ha e been consistent across the 2 locations I've patronized. Great for lunch or dinner, steak or signature pork chops....always a hit, has never been a miss. Excellent quality, taste, service, and consistency are rare. When you find it, patronize, patronize, patronize....
Austin, our server, did an exceptional job and making us feel welcomed and served us with great enthusiasm and energy. This was despite us arriving to the restaurant close to closing. Regardless of us arriving near closing, Austin made our experience extremely enjoyable. Would definitely revisit this establishment.
Dominick brought those drinks so fast I had to get an Uber home. He was very attentive and on point the entire night. Would absolutely reccommend him and the restaurant as a whole. The valet was super friendly as well. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Husband and I ate here for our anniversary it was very nice. While the theme is upscale the vibe was very laid back. Our waiter was very nice and patient regarding us ordering. The food was wonderful! I have no issues with the taste or quality of the food. Everything was perfect. My husband fell in love with Perry’s and we will be visiting more often.
Came for social hour on Friday with my girlfriend and sat with Anastasia in the bar. She was amazing and made our time very enjoyable! She had great recommendations for cocktail and bar bites. Will definitely be back to see her next week!
Food and service was great! Joey provided outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. He really made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be back!
Went to celebrate a birthday last night, I had my heart set on a Beef Wellington. There was some ups and downs but thanks to Jay, Sarah and Chef (didn't get name) they made it happen. We appreciate everything, thanks for making the night a good one!
Went for an anniversary dinner and our server Asia was super attentive and just a great energy . Our drinks stayed full and the food was perfection. Drinks stayed full, it was our first time and she took the time to go over the menu with us and give recommendations. My husband says those were the best pork chops he's ever had. We will definitely be visiting again.
Had such a great experience at Perry’s thanks to our waiter, Joey. He was incredibly welcoming, knew the menu inside and out, and helped us think through options without ever being pushy. Just genuinely kind and made the lunch amongst friends feel special. Service like that really stands out. Thank you, Joey!
This is one of my go-to locations for private business dinners, largely thanks to the professionalism and competence of the staff. The food is, of course, outstanding— even when serving a large party. Sarah does a great job of making sure we get everything booked and set up correctly. Special shoutout to our waiter Dominic for outstanding service at our most recent event. He was extremely attentive, greeted us by name throughout the evening, and made us feel very welcomed so I could focus on my guests. We will certainly be back!
Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service truly made the night. Dominick was quick, efficient, and incredibly attentive without ever making us feel rushed. He anticipated our needs, kept everything running smoothly, and added to an already great dining experience. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend!
Excellent service, food and overall atmosphere. Attended a Christmas dinner party here and was blown away at the beauty within the restaurant and it's overall calming and romantic ambience. Food was delicious and beautifully prepared, all of the servers was very attentive and nice. Attire was more casual than I expected, so that was a relief. There was an overall good mix of people in there. Just a really good vibe being in there. It is a little pricey, but in my opinion, worth it. Will definitely be coming back when we get the money. Would make a great place for a date, especially a husband and wife who haven't been able to have a date night in a long while having four kiddos!
I recently dined at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille - Memorial City, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service that Anastasia gave was absolutely excellent — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. The staff made sure every detail was just right and truly elevated the entire evening.
Carlos took great care of us. T notch dining. Service reminded me of how it used to be dining at the top restaurants back in day, true white glove service and great quality food. My husband said it’s the best pork chop in Texas
Exelente comida recomendable.

Ok... so when I arrived, I asked the hostess if my date had arrived, and she asked if I had reservations? I said yes and said the name. She immediately said your reservations were canceled (7:15). I said what? She replied, "You passed the 15-minute grace period. I looked at my watch (7:20)and responded it hasn't been 15mins. She then says oh let me check." Of course, that rubbed me the wrong way, especially since the valet was backed up. 🙄 I didn't want the young lady to Ruin my evening. So what's see that I took a moment and I took a breath and relaxed. Looked over the menu. My waitress was amazing. She gave great suggestions on the wine and the meal selections. I can't wait to go back to Perry's again. The fired snapper was tasty, I love their creamed spinach. My date had the steak topped with a crab cake.😋
First time at Perry's and my reason for the 8 is I feel like I've had better steak at other places for a more reasonable price? I guess your paying for the experience because it is a cool spot especially if you want to take your girl/guy on that 1st date, they have the dim lighting like Carrabas.. I 🤎 the 5.00 valet option and all the servers and waiters are extremely nice.. He made our first time a great experience, forgot his name ...Tall , Darskin baby nice smile....5 stars for you Sir ...
Such an amazing experience! The environment is gorgeous. The pork chop of course was phenomenal. I really liked the caesar salad & seafood stuffed mushrooms. The lemon bar & chocolate crunch were definitely strong in flavor and weren’t exactly our favorites. Service was good but could have been better. Overall great dinner date spot.
we went for Christmas Eve with the standard fixed menu. i wish the meat was more tender. didn’t expect it not to be tender just because we didn’t pay extra, as i’ve been to many restaurants who weren’t as “high end” and served a tender filet. potatoes and veggies were good. didn’t really like the chocolate tower. i wish they had gone with a brownie for at least one of the dessert options instead, it’s a staple. the bisque was great. we also got the fried asparagus and mushrooms appetizers. those were excellent.
The service was good, but the food could use a bit of a boost, especially considering the prices. The hostess should up their greeting game and not just ask about the number of people in your group. We were craving more coffee, but our waiter took ages to swing by again. All in all, the food was alright, and the service was okay. I was hoping for top-notch service given the price, though.
There’s an option to valet or park for free in the Macy’s lot which is right next door. The interior is dimly lit, intimate, and nicely decorated. Right when I was seated, the server brought out some bread. I don’t know what they put in that bread but I almost ate the whole loaf before appetizers even came out. After dinner was over, I also got some to go and ate it all the next day. For drinks, I ordered the Peachy Glen since that was recommended by the server when I asked for their sweetest drink- and it did not disappoint! As for food this is what I ordered: Perry’s Famous Pork Chop Bites Blue Point Oysters on the Half Shell Beef Wellington Three Cheese Mac and Cheese For appetizers, I would personally skip the oysters. They were good but they weren’t shucked very well which made it difficult to eat. The pork chop bites were fantastic though- I’d go back just for those. It has a perfect sweet glaze to it and the pork is very tender and moist. To accompany the entrée, I ordered the 3 cheese mac and cheese. To be honest, it wasn’t my favorite but my friend had some leftovers and he really liked it so it’s personal preference. I was super excited to try the Beef Wellington and it lived up to the hype! Right away, the aroma of rosemary hits your nose which is always pleasant. The filet was perfectly cooked medium rare and was so tender and juicy. The puff pastry exterior was flaky and buttery, the prosciutto was savory/salty, the duxelles was delicious, and I loved the truffle merlot demiglace. Overall, the food was fantastic, the ambiance was lovely, and the service was great- looking forward to coming back and trying out other items on the menu.
Fridays pork chop lunch special was good but then I noticed a $3.30 handling charge for each to go Item! No where on their website or menu does it show a handling fee!
Very reliable choice for a steakhouse. Good wine selection and cocktails. We enjoyed the Perry's filet but the lamb chops we ordered medium rare were seriously undercooked. Next time I'll go with medium. Solid servers!
Bueno
😋😋😋😋
Todo muy organizado, buen trato comida bien preparada
Mejor servicio en Woodlands, pero no tiene falla
Muy buena opción
We visited here with high expectations after visiting the one in Katy but sadly we left feeling let down. The scallop pasta diner was not great as it seemed to be made with a thicker pasta! Bacon wrapped shrimp were excellent and wow they were big. The tuna filet mignon was really tasty but the NY strip carpaccio was over powered by the cheese served with it. Service was pretty poor and half arsed. Simple things like not making sure we had cutlery and passing the bill over to us instead of walking round and placing it on the table.
We went to Perry’s for my sisters birthday and for houston restaurant month (we had to ask for the restaurant month menu). Overall we agreed it was a decent meal. There were things that were good and some that were disappointing. I don’t think we would come back anytime soon. Overall, the service we felt was just ok. When we arrived it took about 10 minutes for a host to greet us. We appreciated that we weren’t rushed to get in and get out during our dinner but the service felt slow. Our server was nice but didn’t feel like the attention we received matched the price we were paying and for a birthday dinner. We ordered: Appetizers; the fried asparagus with crab meat (great!), the steak tots (delicious!) salads and soups: Cesar salad, wedge salad, French onion soup (delicious), leak soup (was served room temperature and not very hot) Main courses: Pork chops (amazing!), bacon wrapped filet with crab meat on top (delicious but one was cooked well done instead of medium rare), the spaghetti squash primavera (delicious and my favorite as a vegetarian!) Sides: Mac and cheese (just ok, didn’t feel like anything special), loaded whipped potatoes (covered in a layer of cheese which ended up being way too much and rich), the thick cut grilled vegetables (good) Desserts: cheesecake (delicious and refreshing with the orange), chocolate crunch tower (just ok), lemon bar (way to tart for us and not a hit), the bananas foster (the star of the dinner!)
Heard so many good things about the pork chop. And it looked fantastic when presented. Unfortunately pretty dry; albeit was the lunch portion so maybe that plays a part. But as many say, ‘Get a steak at a steak restaurant.’
Went for the prime rib & pork chop lunch specials. The restaurant was beautiful and the service was top notch. However the food wasn’t as extraordinary as we expected, it was okay. Not too impressed that the prime rib was served with French fries. A prime cut of meat should come with a worthy vegetable as a side. The pork chop sorted tasted like bacon. It was tender and cooked perfectly but lacked in a vibrant flavor. We were there 2 weeks prior and had the hamburger & spinach salad. Much better meal.
We have been frequenting this location since 2018 and have consistently rated it four stars. Unfortunately, our New Year’s Eve dinner at 7 p.m. was a significant disappointment. The evening began well with prompt seating and quick drink service, but the experience declined sharply afterward. After placing our order, we experienced long, unexplained gaps in service - 20 to 30 minutes between each interaction. Our appetizers were excellent, but once the plates were cleared, we waited an additional 45 minutes with no updates. By then, irritation had replaced any appetite. Approximately an hour later, someone - not our server - informed us that the restaurant’s system had crashed. Our server never communicated this, leaving us frustrated and uninformed. When she finally returned, we requested the check and a discount. Our entrées arrived at that moment, warm but clearly held too long, and we could not enjoy them. What is usually one of our favorite nights out was completely undermined, and we still paid $265 for the experience. It will be a long time before we consider returning; guests should not have to hope for a pleasant visit.
Went to dinner with friends the night before Valentine's day. The restaurant was very strict with pre-set menus only, but whatever, we can deal. The only good thing about our meals were the steaks. The sides and the lobster bisque were cold. The service was a nightmare. Our server would be gone for long stretches at a time while the tables around us got plenty of attention from their waiters. He offered more bread, which never came. Despite having a set menu with very limited options (maybe 25% of the regular menu), our server got our orders wrong twice, both in the entree and dessert. He did that thing where he would listen to your order but never write anything down. Very annoying and stressful to deal with. There was also a complete lack of accountability from our server. He would simply blame other parts of the restaurants for any delays or incorrect items. When he brought us the bill, he did not offer to split it for us despite it being the obvious thing to do for our table. He takes forever with drinks, food, etc, spends all his time at the bar chatting with the other waiters, then he tries to shoo us out as quickly as possible. Giving that guy a $100 tip feels like a crime. We've been to Perry's many times and it's because there is an expectation of excellent service. One of the most novel things they do is scrape the crumbs off your table. Our server didn't clean our table once. Only refilled our water every 20 minutes. Drinks came slow, food took ages, service was plain bad. I just don't see how you can execute so poorly when the menu is limited and everything is made easy. It would be one thing if this was an Applebees or a Buffalo Wild Wings, but this level of incompetence for these prices from a frankly unimpressive menu is appalling. Ultimately, just a very disappointing experience.
Zero welcoming at the host desk, they need to improve. They failed to make it a special day, even I stated the occasion we were celebrating on my reservation but NO ONE knew what we were celebrating! very ( disappointing ). Our waiter made so many mistakes on our orders. No one cares to clear the plates. Host, service, and taste were very disappointing. I should have stick to Perry’s at Baybrook but I thought I need a change. Food taste does not compare to Baybrook. Please pay cash tip for the valet, the company keeps the tip if paid by cards.
I went to Perry's with 5 family members, my sister and brother were celebrating their 58th and 60th birthday. We made a reservation for 6. The hostess was on point and sat us at our reserved table immediately. The oysters were tasty, the escargot was delicious, the turtle soup was excellent, everyone enjoyed their steak, seafood, prime rib, and lobster. Our waiter Joey was amazing. Everything was great until the Manager ruined my joyous occasion. I asked Joey for the bill. I glanced at it and it had been stamped with a red stamp showing that 18% gratuity was included, when I saw it, I told Joey not to worry I would be taking care of him better than that. Joey left to process the payment. The manager came before Joey returned with the credit card transaction. He made a point to let me know that they charged 18% gratuity, but that a little more tip would be appropriate. In my younger years, I waited tables on Capital Hill and when we got the service correct for our customers, we got a great tip and when we didn't ( well you reap what you sow). I have always made it a point to make sure I tip 20% or better regardless of the service. Joey's service was exceptional. I brought cash for a cash tip, because back when I waited tables cash was king, when it came to tips. The gratuity at 18% was $79.61 on a $478.74 tab. I tipped Joey another $50 which brought the total tip to $129.61 for Joey. This means Joey received 27% for the great service. I didn't think I needed the manager to tell me how to tip. I must say, I felt discriminated upon. It was as though the manager felt I was less than or I didn't no better, as if Perry's restaurant was above me and my family and that he needed to teach me something I didn't know. I am the CFO for a commercial construction company, I have my own construction company as well, I have been a successful real estate investor in my home town of Houston, providing homes across Houston to my fellow Houstonians for over 30 years. I have ate many times at Perry's Baybrook, but I have never had a manager come up to me to tell me how to tip. This experience was an insult to me and my family. I didn't say anything to my family ( as it may have ruined the occasion)or to the manager. I saved the story to tell it to the rest of Houston instead. I write great reviews when a restaurant gets it right. I also write great reviews when a restaurant gets it wrong. The hostess and Joey got it write, the manager failed miserably. Would I recommend Perry's? Absolutely, Baybrook! The experience is worth the drive. Do yourself, your family, and friends a favor stay away from Perry's Memorial. I see that the manager Michael McDonald Responded to my review. It is unfortunate that he was unable to interpret what I wrote: He made a point to let me know that they charged 18% gratuity, but THAT A LITTLE MORE TIP WOULD BE APROPRIATE. I am very familiar with gratuities of 15% or more at all restaurants for parties of 5 or more; that was never mentioned in my review as being an issue. The insult is taken by the additional advice as if I didn't know how to tip. I tip according to service, Joey was wonderful, therefore, I tipped him 27%. The manager's behavior was appalling and his response to this review only served to add insult to injury. Perhaps, Perry's Memorial location should teach the management proper etiquette and customer service.
I am very sad to say that my wife and I spent our Valentine's date night at this establishment.. The food was not worth the price by far and the service was just a subpar. I don't advise eating here if you want a steak or anything that is cooked well and worth 105.00 per plate (which was actually supposed to be part of the Valentine's day special). Wish I had better things to say as we spent almost 300.00 but I will not lie.. Hopefully management in the future will take heed to upgrade their services/products or make their food cheaper. The restaurant has very nice atmosphere, to end on a high note.
We decided to go on Christmas Eve for dinner at 3:30 pm. The restaurant was not crowded and hardly any tables were seated. Im saying all that because the service was horrible the server took long time to take our order. 1 WHOLE HOUR to receive our appetizers, our wine glasses were empty for more than 30 minutes and wasn’t offered another drink , she disappeared for long periods of time we had to look for her and is not like she was busy in her section she was nowhere to be seen, didn’t offer explanation for long wait. We understand that it was a holiday but to have set menus and restaurant not busy is unacceptable to have a horrible service. Gratuity amount was automatically added for the service we received that shouldn’t have been the case. Food was excellent price was worth it but the server completely ruined the experience and a thoroughly planned night was a fiasco. For a restaurant like Perrys the management team needs to be better at having quality servers. I don’t think we will be visiting Perrys there’s other places with actual great service.
We sat at the bar and we got our appetizers, which took about 25 minutes. The empty plates sat in front of us at the bar till the food came. The ribeye was burnt to a crisp now my shrimp cocktail and my mushrooms in my au gratin potatoes and my pork chop good but the service was just awful my espresso cup stayed on the empty on the bar the whole time we were there and he asked me if I want to refill That was this last Thursday at 2:30 PM. Usually everything’s great there this time it just was awful.
