I had a great experience at Rouxpour. There was no wait, and we sat on the patio the ambiance was perfect with that classic New Orleans vibe they’re known for. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, almost like stepping into a little piece of the French Quarter. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the overall vibe just makes you want to relax and enjoy your time. I ordered the Caesar salad along with the chicken and fettuccine Alfredo, and everything was delicious. It’s easy to see why they were a Diners’ Choice 2024. With multiple locations and that authentic NOLA feel, Rouxpour really does give you a true New Orleans dining experience. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for great food, great ambiance, and a great time.

Went out for drinks with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and incredible service! Eli the bartender even made us a custom drink (that was absolutely delicious) and when asked what was in it, he actually went above and beyond and wrote down the ingredients and measurements to make it! We had a wonderful time, couldn’t recommend it enough.

Went for happy hour and we ordered nearly all the appetizers! Our waiter great. She made sure our glasses stayed full and our food was hot and fresh. The Blueberry Martini was delicious.

First time trying this restaurant! Food was amazing!!! I’m gonna post pictures of every! We were shopping and we decided to stop! If you are wearing non sleeve t-shirt isn’t allowed inside! The salad was impecable that goat cheese with almonds is just delicious! Even the coffee was good! All good service and atmosphere!!! Our server was Victoria P, nice service!

Excellent food and atmosphere. The Gumbo and char grilled oysters are top of the list. This spot is a definite recommend. PLEASE COME HUNGRY. The Food is amazing here.

Wanted to try some oysters while I was in town and someone recommended this place. We had the bbq shrimp appetizer which was a 10/10 and we ordered a dozen oysters half signature chargrilled 8.5/10 and the Rockefeller 7/10 my only issue with the Rockefeller was it had a lil too much spinach on it but it was good none the less. Additionally we got the stuffed shrimp with the lafatte topping and I’ll give that an 8/10, also the drinks were very good as well.

This restaurant was impeccable. This was the first time in my life that I had great service. Pierce was my waiter for the night with a party of 5 and when I tell you he was incredible. Our food and drinks were coming out with in 10 minutes of ordering. He was so respectful and gave us well over five star service. Eric who was also the manager on duty was incredible and gave us grace. I felt good to be in that establishment and I will visit every time I am here. I live in NJ and this is by far the best restaurant ever. They get a 1000/10. The food was so delicious. Literally everything. The Lamb chops took me to a different place.

We try this restaurant in every location, this one by far has been on-point. Our waitperson, Chelsea, was spreed thin at the time we visited but that did not stop her from delivering 200%. Great way to begin our Easter weekend. Adding to our excellent service, we had some delicious food and drinks. All presented well. Drinks - Moscow Mule; Elderflower 75 ; Pellegrino Food - Devil Eggs; étouffée with crawfish; creamy pasta with blackened chicken. Dessert - Crème Brûlée Unfortunately, I delved into the dishes before taking proper photographs.

Thank you Alan for being such a phenomenal waiter. Alan was very busy and worked his tables very well. He gave awesome recommendations and enjoyed every second while there. The live music was amazing, the drinks were great, and the food was very delicious! The shift manager, Constance, was so sweet and friendly. She came to check on us and we throughout the night observed how well she interacted with her staff. This was my first time here but definitely not my last!

I used to frequent this location at least two to three times a week. Over time, as the menu began to change and management shifted, my visits slowly faded. The atmosphere no longer feels the same, it’s noticeably different from what it once was. Recently, I had a strong craving for oysters and decided to stop by for old times’ sake. Unfortunately, I truly wish I hadn’t. The service was subpar at best. The only item I genuinely enjoyed was the oysters themselves. I ordered a dozen oysters & the stuffed shrimp. The crawfish in the sauce was extremely rubbery, as if it had been cooked hours earlier and reheated. It was honestly unpleasant. I also had two Mexican martinis, which were just okay, not at all how they’re usually prepared here. While the bartender technically did his job, he seemed disengaged and uninterested, which made it uncomfortable to ask for anything and left me feeling uneasy throughout my entire dining experience. I went in hopeful that I could revisit an old favorite and have a great experience, but that wasn’t the case. Between the disappointing food, lackluster service, and the automatic 15% gratuity, it’s hard to justify spending that kind of money, especially in today’s economy…. only to leave unhappy with both the meal and the experience. Hopefully, Houston will see another great oyster spot emerge, or perhaps I’ll try a different location. This one, unfortunately, no longer delivers what it once did.

12/25 Spent an evening here with my cousin. Our family is from Louisana and we know our food well. Also know how to cook our Creole food. We have been here before, so decided to end our shoping at dinner. I ordered the Zydeco Chicken, salad with Ranch. Cousin had Bowel Seafood Gumbo, side salad with ranch. She also ordered to go for her husband Flounder meal. Halfway through my meal i got tummy troubles, i didnt want to alarm her, because she was still eating. But i got very sick , took my appetite. Afterwards she drove me back to my car. The next day we were speaking and she said... After i dropped you back to your car , i couldnt make it home, i had to find a bathroom. She was sick as well, she was very ill. Once she got home her husband ate his flounder meal, he woke up in the middle of the night, he was also sick and stayed up with a bad stomach. When i found all of this out, i decided that calling the manager was our next move. I got the run around for 2 days. After talking to them and having to explain this 3 times to 3 people what happend, they denied responsiabilty, they knew it was not a good experience, and decided to send a gift card for myself and my couisn. Today i open the mail to $20 each After spending my evening sick and spending $90 on our meal, then my cousin also spending $50 , and getting sick , that is what we were left with $20.00 to possibly get sick again. In conclusion, it was the seafood!! I wont be back!!
