It has taken me a while to write this review but charge it to my head and not my heart (I’m a Mama-hehe) - I really want to take the time to thank The Board Room for being a wonderful host of my holiday party for my mama’s & women’s community, The Mama’s Bag. We had an amazing time and were served so well by the staff. The process of collaborating was smooth and reasonable. The food was delicious-shoutout out to the artichoke dip and calamari! The wine is local & did not disappoint-shoutout to the owners, Carly & John. I highly recommend The Board Room and sincerely thank you guys for hosting our Holiday Soirée! Special shoutout to Sonny+ Jonatan & Lo! Excellent service!

I found a new place for Happy Hour and without a doubt the service and I only had the calamari with a Ol' Fashion everything was amazing and above A1 for sure. Def recommend this place and def will come back for sure.

Our girls group of 9 went this week and it was so great! Some of the items we shared were the Butcher board, Crab cakes, Calamari, and this beautiful dessert board shown. The Carly eastside was delicious to go with it! It's a fun, beautiful atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We went for dinner, but they have grab and go food items with flowers and other little gifts that would make great hostess, house warming, and/or care presents!

I LOVE the Board Room! With Houston’s competitive restaurant scene, finding one that stands out is hard, and The Board Room absolutely did! It’s perfect for date night but also a quick lunch break with their grab-and-go section. Oh, and also, they source amazing local gifting options, so they really can do it all.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing!! From the location, establishment, ambience, customer service, food and drinks! The signature charcuterie board is a must have. Jonathan was our server, he was so kind and attentive, ask for him! Our kinda place, will definitely be back!

We had the most delightful experience at the Board Room last night! Our waiter Grant was very hospitable and knowledgeable, and every waiter that helped us was just so personable. We asked Grant for recommendations and he delivered - since we already know and like the house wines, we opted for cocktails. Each of the 3 we tried were soooo yummy, and we kept going back and forth on which we liked the most. We got the poblano artichoke dip appetizer and the signature board. The dip was served warm with toasted pita and the board was overflowing with goodies. We fought over the marinated olives and the fig preserves! It was also fun sitting on the patio so we could people watch and see people we knew! We went late (9:30 on a Friday), parking was easy, and there were plenty of tables. They have a little shop inside with other local companies featured, and it was so special to see some artwork from a friend for sale inside! We will definitely be making this a regular spot for a bevy and a board, and we’re coming back to try the grab and go lunches and the entrees as soon as it’s officially patio weather!

Charcuterie boards were delicious. Wide selection of drinks and wine. Service was great and the manager was very friendly and welcoming!

Amazing experience! They even have flowers and to go items to take a board home if you want or surprise a loved one! Don’t miss out on the Board Room!!!

My wife and I popped in for a drink and a small snack. Love the atmosphere. The drinks were top notch and the melon and feta skewers are a great app. We will definitely come back.

A really beautifully thought out experience!! Food and boards were so delicious, the atmosphere is elevated but chill at the same time. I love the idea of picking up flowers and a board to go, as a hostess gift- will definitely be back!!

Great new spot in city center! Highly recommend their $15 lunch deals and their steak nights on Thursday. A great place to hang with your girlfriends for a wine and charcuterie night!

Beautifully decorated with attentive team serving delicious boards, wines and cocktails. Had a Top Shelf marg that was excellent. Also went with Signature Board and polished the evening off with the new Sauvignon John sparkling. Great visit, and there will be many more.

Jonathan was our bartender and was amazing. He gave us great recommendations on food and drinks. Our group had the best time.

We had the best time at The Board Room! We couldn’t believe it was the opening night— the food and drinks were amazing and the staff were attentive and so good with handling our large party. They’ve truly thought of everything with the design, grab and go items, and everything you could need to host a party. We can’t wait for many more nights spent here!

I had the pleasure of being served by Grant, the brand-new bartender at Board Room Wine Bar, and he was fantastic. Grant was incredibly attentive, making sure our drinks were perfect and that we had everything we needed. What stood out most was how personable he was—easy to talk to, genuine, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience. For someone new behind the bar, he’s already setting the standard high. I’ll definitely be coming back for Grant’s service! Thank you for the chartreuse ✅

I went to the boardroom with a large group tonight and it did not disappoint! The wine was very good and every single dish on the table was divine! They even have a grab and go section with flowers, wine, and boards to take home or to an event! It would be great to pick up on the way to a holiday event or celebration! The staff was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. It was overall a really great experience and I will definitely be back!

Apparently, they open at 3 pm on the weekends for their updated holiday hours. My friend made a reservation a couple days in advance for 1230 on a Saturday but was surprised the doors were locked. Luckily, someone was there and said the kitchen was open. There was another couple that came in around the same time and was surprised as well. My friend wasn't notified and it wasn't updated on Google but she did make reservations on open table. Anyways, get the crispy calamari for sure- best I've ever had EVER. And the waiter's customer service (maybe owner?) was superb. Highly recommend this place.

Came to an event hosted here and what an amazing time we had. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, the ambiance was on point, the food was quite delicious (I especially enjoyed the calamari), and just the atmosphere that was curated for the group of women I shared the room with was above the standard. I look forward to returning and trying different items from the menu and the bar.

My daughter had a joint birthday celebration with a friend and The Board Room was the PERFECT spot!! The staff was accommodating, friendly and patient. We ordered two towers and one family board and there was plenty of food! My daughter loved the brie and honeycomb. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was also a favorite at the table. We also loved the variety of cocktail offerings and wine. On a previous visit, I also picked up a few lunches to bring to teachers and they all raved about them!! The Board Room is our new favorite spot!!!

Great way to top off the night. The atmosphere in here was really nice. Thank you to Anh for making the drinks for us it was amazing. Grant was a pleasure to speak with and made us feel welcomed from the minute we sat down. Will definitely keep this place in mind whenever I don’t feel like going home just yet so I can just enjoy a drink and calm space

This place is so cute and the service was absolutely amazing ! Bryan and Jonathan were so informative and accommodating . They knew everything about the wine selections and made me feel right at home. This will definitely be in my new rotation of places to visit in city centre . The wine was phenomenal and the board was so tasty ! Worth every penny .

Just met the new bartender Grant at The Boardroom and he’s already a standout. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly knows his way around a cocktail. He made me feel right at home and nailed the drink recommendation. Grant brings great energy and fits right in — excited to see him become a regular face behind the bar!

Came here for brunch with the girls and had a wonderful time!! The charcuterie boards are on point and the cocktails are delicious! As others have said, the calamari is fantastic. We loved the grab-n-go section too! The fresh flowers were gorgeous and added a pop of sunshine to my kitchen table :)

Stopped into The Board Room in The Center for drinks and appetizers and loved the experience. The atmosphere felt comfortable, perfect for winding down. The cocktails were crafted with care, beautifully presented. Service was attentive without being rushed, which made the evening even better. A great spot to gather with friends or colleagues.

I’ve been to The Board Room several times and it never disappoints. Jonatan and Grant are always phenomenal. The charcuterie boards and drinks are always perfect. I’d highly recommend The Board Room for happy hour, date night, or even just a casual drink. I’d recommend the Paper Plane if you’re looking for a great cocktail.

We decided to give The Board Room a try last night and will definitely be back! Food was on point! We had the chicken piccata, a cheese board and shared a flatbread. All were great IMO. I could tell the staff was hand picked not just for their knowledge of wines but because they were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is nice and the place had a good crowd. I’ll be back for a happy hour for sure. They have a full bar, great wine list and beer selection as well. I noticed they even had a grab and go section that had salads, cheeses and drinks for those that just want to pick something up quick. All in all, I was very pleased and look forward to trying other things on the menu.

I stopped in between errands on my birthday for a glass of wine and received excellent service from the bartender, Jonathan. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wines they offered. It made my day! Can’t wait to come back when I have more time to try out the food.

The biggest problem I have with this place is the single stall bathroom that guests and employees share. Men and women. I find this completely unacceptable and unable to meet the demand of a restaurant serving food and alcohol. Not to mention gross. My first experience was after a man was in there and I had to put the seat down. I bet this is not kosher for many. Additionally the service was not good. Too slow.

Very let down by the service and food last night, but the live music was a nice touch. Most of the food tasted like prepackaged items that were warmed up. The bartender isn't very experienced with making cocktails. Will not return!

We’d been looking forward to trying The Boardroom and it was just mediocre. The peach basil cocktail was weak, and the chicken piccata tasted like a microwaved, precooked dinner from the grocery store. The best thing was, of course, the charcuterie board, but it wasn’t anything spectacular. I thought for a restaurant centered around that concept that they’d be more inventive or interesting. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, they do only have one single bathroom which seemed odd.

I was excited to try this new spot in City Centre, but unfortunately never really got the chance. We had a reservation on a Wednesday night (not busy at all) and were seated right next to the host stand by the stairs. After being seated for about 10 minutes we decided to leave since servers were enjoying their conversation right in front of the Hostess stand, while we were waiting for service. For such a new restaurant, I expected the staff to be more welcoming and enthusiastic, but instead it seemed like they didn’t want to be there. It’s disappointing because I was really looking forward to it. Thankfully, there are several other spots nearby that also serve charcuterie boards—and they pair it with great service.

Do not recommend. Poor experience. The staff was disorganized and the seating was very limited. We were sat next to the staircase, crammed against the wall by the main entrance — definitely not ideal. Even so, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, after watching two tables that arrived after us get greeted and served drinks, while multiple servers walked past us without stopping, we decided to leave. Staff stood just a few feet away chatting at the hostess stand, and one even made eye contact with us while taking another table’s order. For a new place, this was not a good start.

Possibly the worst service I have had in a while. There were 7 of us sitting outside chatting and catching up but the waitress did not come by for over 30mins to take our drink orders. We had to finally flag her down. She proceeded to take our drink orders and four of us wanted the Lavender drink that said it was made with Empress Gin. After we finally got our drinks which also took forever we noticed they were not purple in color. So we asked why and she went back inside to find out. I see her asking a manager and he says that they had just run out of empress. Well if you don't have it and its the key ingredient/color in your drink dont you think you should have told us and seen if we still wanted it? There was no apology only a question "well can you tell the difference"?!! And that was the manager. We finally said we didnt want them and ordered wine since apparently their cocktails were a miss. Then we order some apps and a cheese board. The bruschetta and poblano dip were good. We also ordered a cheese board with three cheeses and only got two. When we addressed this with the waitress she just said she would take off $4. Everything took forever to come. Thoroughly disappointed and forced to give a 20% tip even though service was subpar. Will not be returning. I doubt they will last long unless they change their attitudes. I am not even detailing the fiasco of dropping the dip on me....

My wife has been wanting to go here for Charcuterie for months. Finally made the 40 minute drive for a date night on a Saturday night to be told we had 5 minutesf to order (mind you this was @ 10:50 and they close at midnight) Then as we were placing our order they told us never mind kitchen was closed. For a place called the Board room which focuses on their charcuterie boards you would think they would serve the food they advertise. Huge disappointment, crappy service and won’t return.
