It was my first time coming here , but I heard great things about it. Everything I heard was very true about it!!! The bartender Karim was phenomenal!!! I ordered the daiquiri mixed with all flavors and topped it with candy!!! He made my drink just the way I wanted it. I also ordered the ‘Martha & Snoop’ with the fruity pebbles waffle. The chicken was hot and juicy with the right amount of seasoning. The waffle was fluffy and the cereal was crunchy still after the syrup poured on top . Ashley, the owner was very nice and pleasant. I will definitely be coming back here!!!

Been wanting to come here since July. So I decided 9/7/23 was the best time since I was celebrating 🥳 my 10yr anniversary as a professional driver. I had the Pineapple bowl with 🍗🥩🍤 and a Fruit Vale Punch 🍹. The taste 👅 and presentation were on point 👌🏾🥰. My wife had the sample platter 🦞🍗🍤 with macaroni and fries . She said it was good good. . This place has absolutely no business being this good. I mean the food, the service, the atmosphere… I’m recommending this place to anyone with ears. The food is delicious. Seasoned to perfection. Omg I don’t even know where to begin. I will say this it’s my 2nd time going and both times have been great. The 1st time I went was on a Wednesday around 11pm for a few drinks and Ashlee is who helped me. She was great and very attentive. We didn’t stay too long since they were close to closing time. I think I had a drink called Marathon it was blue and my bf had a crown and coke. My drink was so refreshing since I asked for something fruity. The 2nd time was this past Saturday and I took about 15 people with me. We got a nice big table area towards the middle section of the restaurant/bar and the waitress was so nice and attentive if I recall her name was Savannah. We ordered a lot of wings about 80. Let me start off by saying “YOU MUST ORDER HENESSEY BOURBON” those were Everyone’s favorite. Of course we tried other flavors and they were delicious, but there’s something about that Henessey Bourbon that has everyone talking about it and spreading the word that this place has the BEST wings ever! I can’t wait to go back. I will never go to wing stop or Buffalo Wild Wings again. This place met my expectations to the fullest and I recommend it to everyone that wants a nice fun atmosphere to be in. Not only the food is amazing but the staff is very attentive and customer service to me beats anything!

The atmosphere and vibes was very great, everyone was so friendly. The owners escorted us in and checked in on us periodically. We had an awesome server, the food presentation was absolutely beautiful and everything tasted as delicious as it looked. We can't wait to return again and again!

Ask for Bobby. She was adorable and informative even when the bar/ kitchen was slow. I wish that the full menu was available when they served brunch, not one thing that was advertised on Instagram could be ordered before 4. The food was tasty, well seasoned, southern comfort food, simple and straightforward. This is somewhere to go have a good time with friends, the music was fun and lively, definitely kept me in a good mood while waiting.

Don’t pay attention to the one star below. the customer was so rude to the owner because he put in the wrong order on the kiosk to go and he got mad because she would not redo his order that he place because he ordered the wrong meat. Everything was great!!! Ashley recommended the salmon bites (10/10 for sure)!!! and the Hennessy & Bourbon wings (sauce was amazing) she started us off with the jolly rancher shots( YES!!) oh & the Bathroom was clean !!

It’s a whole vibe you can tell the food is made fresh it was absolutely delicious our server was super sweet and the owner was there going from table to table making sure everything was satisfactory and everyone was happy. 10/26/2024 @ 8pm My boyfriend & I went for dinner to try a new place as we just moved to the area. Our server was Ms. Ariel & she was great! It wasn't busy so she was able to take our order VS us having to order with the barcode. I ordered a margarita which came with the gummy worms & a festive gummy eye ball for Halloween. Boyfriend got a mixed drink that came with a fun "help" umbrella. I got the loaded fries with steak. It was actually really good! My bf enjoyed the garlic noodles with shrimp. This spot was a cool, even though it says "bar", we got more of the night club vibe but overall a cool spot for adults to vibe.

My coworker and I wanted to try something new and we were passing when we saw the open sign. The place exciting to walk into, awesome artwork and a nice vibe. We got amazing service from Savannah, she made our drinks perfectly and her and the owner made the whole experience so pleasant. the food was fresh, and delicious 🥹

We were six deep for my daughter’s birthday. We had a blast. I had a pineapple cut open with steak and chicken in it. It was delicious. Everything was on point and I will be back.

My friends and I visited Cali Htx yesterday, 12/13/25, for our Christmas gift exchange party. I must say, everything was excellent—the food, customer service, drinks, and overall experience. The manager and her staff were outstanding and made sure we had everything we ordered. The food was served promptly, and the service was exceptional. This was our second year hosting our Christmas party there, and we will definitely be returning again.

I came on a Wednesday night and to my surprise it was also karaoke night. It was a lot of fun and easy to sign up. They also offer drink specials for participants. As for the food, I ordered the fried rice and honey lemon pepper wings. They both tasted great. I also ordered a frozen margarita that was pretty good! My server was very nice and friendly too. It wasn’t too crowded so I was able to get my drink and food pretty fast.

We had such a great experience here last night! Our server Tokyo was awesome! She was taking care of us, a large birthday party and several other guests and she held it down. The bar tender was amazing, I wish I could remember her name but she played with our son while we were waiting on the food to come and he loved it and we spoke with the owner and she was so friendly, I loved everyone and everything about this place! My only “complaint” would be that the food did take a while to come but it was worth it 100%. We ordered the Shrimp Po boy, Mac and cheese and fries, a side of catfish, The Philly cheese steak egg rolls, and mozzarella sticks and man it was all so good! I recommend everything we ordered. ESPECIALLY that Mac and cheese my son loved it. Everyone here was so kind, they deserve all the love and praise I can give and the food definitely matches that energy.

The seasoning is perfect. There are a lot of tvs in this place so you wont have any problems watching games. Theres a bar also, if your a drink type person. In the back patio there is a hookah area. The food and drinks here are out of this world. We started with the marijuana drink (not really marijuana) and some gummy bear shots, AMAZING‼️‼️‼️ we got some glazed shrimp as an appetizer. Be prepared for a mouthgasm. Finished off with a rich girl po boy , the fried salmon plate and some more gummy bear shots, HEAVENLY. 😍 this was a wonderful experience and the food is absolutely amazing. We decided to try Cali Kitchen out for the first time. I got the "Feeling Myself Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich" and it was absolutely delicious! As were the Cali Fries. The presentation was great, as well. My husband got the Chicken Cali Fried Rice. He said it was amazing. I did try a bite and it was very good! We also went on Thursday which is their $5 pork chop day. We each got one to try. We chose fried over grilled. They let you choose between no sauce at all or you can add a wing sauce. I got mine with the Sweet Heat and my husband chose the Hennessy Bourbon Sauce. They were both very delicious. 🤤 Also, we both got the Liquid Marijuana beverage. Yum! Our Server Destiny was delightful! She went along with our corny jokes and was very attentive and informative understanding it was our first time. 😁 And to top it all off, they have this super cool Expo Robot. It plays music which goes along with the overall vibe/ambience/theme of the restaurant. One of the best experiences we've had trying out a new place in a long time!

I have had my eye on this place for months and finally went and so glad I did. Let’s start with parking…there is no parking fee which is a bonus compared to other places. Everything was absolutely amazing all the way down to the restrooms. The moment we stepped in the hostess was so friendly. She was our server also. She was very attentive and made sure everything was good the entire time we were there. The food…OMG hands down so good and flavorful. The neat little robot brings your food to the table. The drinks are very good and decently priced. They have games you can play with you are there. They have hookah as well. The menu is very expensive but worth every minute of reading. I must say and will say this is my favor place by far since I have moved to Houston. I will be going back multi times as often as I can. Thank yall so much for a great 1st time experience. The was no wait. Tables available. Our waitress was attentive and quick. Now you order through the QR code on the table for food. However drinks through the waitress. Everything on the menu is not available on the app. Otherwise service was good as well as the atmosphere. They had sports on a few TV and Music on the other. They also had a private party . We attended a R&B paint and sip part at this restaurant. This was our first time visiting Cali HTX. The DJ excellent along with a fun iatmosphere. The staff was very friendly and Tanesha took great care of us. Generous portions and seasoned well but the rice in my pineapple was a little gummy for my taste and my side of fries was cold and soggy. Will come back again.

I came in on a Monday and was served by Destiny. She made me some good drinks and kept me company and the bar. Food was really good. I got served at a reasonable and will be back again. Big variety of options on the menu.

Great atmosphere & great music, food was good depending on your selection. Chicken tenders and wings were very big and juicy, that's good, however fried pickles were disgusting and even though we ordered as an appetizer they didn't come out until we were already done eating our main entrees, I even tried to cancel the fried pickles since we hadn't received them and waitress gave us attitude about canceling and refused. So we got them anyways to try them but they were gross. I don't recommend them. I had their margarita which was very good, overall if I return I would change some things about what I ordered. Oh and one of the main things I was disappointed in I added cheese and bacon bit to my fries that came with my meal and they up charged me over $10 to just add cheese and bacon, that was ridiculous, waitress should have told me that charge in advance because I would not have opted to add it since the cheese was just that can cheese stuff.

I dont know what's going on with Cali! Lately.. it used to be a great spot to watch the games and for the food and it use to be crowded. I showed up on a Sunday, and there were only two tables with customers. We sat down and order our food through the table app and for some reason, the kitchen lost power and lost our orders. We sat for about a hour before we inquire. The owner eventually came out and apologized, gave us free drinks, and gift cards. The only female server in the restaurant, she did great job accommodating the situation. The food was ok, they didn't have the pineapple bowl dish. But overall, its great place, but there business is falling off for whatever reason.

Being a California native I Came in on a Saturday around 2pm, and place was not busy at all. Waitress was nice and greeted us, she served as a host, waitress and bartender (Congrats). They were out of a few alcoholic beverages. (Titos, Don Julio) we ordered Garlic noodles and shrimp. Took about 40 minutes for our food to be served for it to be empty and only 3 customers but food was good. (Mention maybe Hold the butter if you don’t want too much) Had the games on TV but none of the table games were available to play. (Dominoes missing pieces) I was told on my visit “this is black owned so we be out of stuff”. Overall, wasn’t worth the hype but a good day time date place if you’re in the area.

The food was amazing but the service was trash. For it being my first time first impressions are everything. Our server was very inattentive, I paid for something that was sold out which is something our inattentive server could have said before I ordered it and never got offered a refund for it. I paid for my drink in cash and the server did not give me the right amount of change back. I want to try this place out again during the day to see how the vibe is but I for sure would never go back at night. It's like people do not want to work anymore these days.

The scenery is nice for the vibe, but that's about it. The pricing is high & the service is SLOW! The bartenders just went around you as if you weren't even there. This could be a great place! We watched the fight here & that was good because of the tvs. But we won't be going back.

The two things about this establishment - the reason why it even has 2 stars from me is due to the fact that the sauce on the wings was delicious and Liv the bartender was super kind through the whole visit. Otherwise- to start, it says happy hour from 6-9 but no happy hour menu in sight. I ordered 8 wings, naked, with Hennessy Bourbon sauce with “Cali” fries - which are just seasoned fries. My food took around 35 minutes to be delivered to me, when there was less than 15 people in the restaurant. A gentleman that came in 15 minutes after me order and received his meal before I even had mine. Why? Because they gave my tray of food to the woman next to me, though she ordered hot wings. They brought me breaded hot wings and I immediately reminded them I did NOT order breaded. I sipped on my Sunshine State Sipper drink, where it was made with Tito’s, but apparently they were out of Tito’s so I had to substitute another vodka. Ok so now this is supposed to be a Cali bar, why am I asking for the channel to be switched for Lakers game? Then after asking twice and telling them what channel or how to find it, they split the screen with Ice Hockey. I get it that it’s game 1 of the Stanley cup and y'all a bar but look at your audience. I made the observation known and was told that others may want to come in and watch ice hockey. Another gentleman at the bar asked the same question I did. I could have understood if it was a Cali hockey team seeing how it’s a Cali bar but it was Dallas and Colorado. All these added up to me closing out and leaving as I came to enjoy the game with fellow Cali fans and felt very uncomfortable having been through so much in just one hour of being there. It could really be something if they were to get there bounds about themselves but for now I probably will not being going back anytime soon.

This place has potential but the day I went no one was there when we first got there. So I expected my wait to not be too long but unfortunately my hostess/waitress/ bartender was the only person working besides the cook. The other 2 employees were hiding behind the bar one vaping and the other eating hot Cheetos. I was upset that they wouldn’t even help the girl give out orders when people actually started coming in. Definitely not teamwork. So my food came out a little cold then they forgot to put the henny sauce that I ordered on my wings and they forgot to put the hot Cheetos my daughter ordered on the loaded fries. We were ready to go but we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes to check out because only one person was doing everything. Unacceptable service.

Disappointing Experience I ordered the pineapple bowl with shrimp and steak, and the meal was ready within 8 minutes, which made me question its freshness. Unfortunately, the dish was overwhelmingly salty, and the steak was both cold and overcooked. I spoke with a waitress to ask about a refund, and she offered to bring the owner. When she returned, I was informed that there would be no refunds or exchanges. I then asked if the dish could be recooked, but was told that wasn’t an option either. While I understand a refund might not always be possible, it’s disappointing that no alternative solution was offered. I requested to speak with the owner three separate times, but they never appeared or attempted to resolve the issue. The lack of customer service here was truly unacceptable.

The atmosphere was cool but my truck got broken into and we were only inside 2.5 hours. They have no security or cameras in the parking lot. I believe it was an inside thing because my truck was the only one broken into. Mind you the parking lot was full of vehicles. Also there was no camera where are parked only on the opposite site and the owner knew this. The ownere is the DJ. God bless you all. Thank God for insurance and my hardworking husband.

Walking into the restaurant the floor has stains on it, and is very sticky. The bathroom look as though it hasn’t been cleaned in days. The menu is on accessible by your phone, and the waitresses say they can’t help you. You must pay for your food before you receiving it. The pineapple bowl was horrible the steak looks like dog meat. There is a very spicy sauce they put on top of it. After expressing the food was nasty the young lady expressed to me that the manager said it was nothing she could do about the food being nasty. They couldn’t give me anything else, nor a refund. Definitely have very bad customer service, and is a place that nobody should support.

One of the young men tried to charge my bf $40 for hookah when their online menu clearly said $20. He was called out on it and gave my bf a sad story. They have watered down drinks. The black female bartender needs a customer service class. The white male bartender (with long hair) was high off something. The security guard thought he was a real police officer. The food was okay. To sum it all up, never again!!!

Was there last Thursday for an album release live show that showcased Houston’s fab & famous singers and out of state recording artists. Although sound system was unreliable, show was amazingly curated by talented professionals & vibe was great inspite of the manager and servers bad mouthing the performers to patrons & refusing to fill food & drink orders from VIP tables. I paid for VIP experience & got rude, dismissive, profane accusations from manager & his workers who didn’t seem to know how or want to serve the all-seats filed 30+ crowd, instead beefing with the talent & ultimately turning off mics, lights & calling 911 to shut down the show at 9:55pm. Ladies restroom had no air and I never got my strawberry margarita or boudin balls even though I’d been there since 6:10pm & asked multiple times. The event admin said the manager refused to accept the business credit card, began insisting on 4k cash during the show, and threatened to get his gun! I’m a Houston native professional who attends many area events and have NEVER had this disturbing experience before & won’t go back there! Buyer Beware!!! Note: the Manager response is not true. This undocumented $3000 amount is fictional but the bad service, sketchy sound system, no restroom air and leathery lamb chops wasn’t. I actually heard the manager say they owed 4000 so which is it? If Manager cuts off sound & lights & threatens to shoot, it has everything to do with peaceful paying guests who were inside until police came. Again, manager refused to make multiple orders AND accept payment for CONFIRMED orders BEFORE show was over. Don’t go the Cali htx!!

Made a reservation ahead of time to celebrate my store opening and placed a prepaid order for wings. I checked on the order several times and was repeatedly told to keep waiting. After over an hour, staff said the order had been lost. I placed a second order and waited another hour with the same result—no food. Refunds were initially refused and a round of shots was offered instead. I eventually left without receiving any food. The manager later called, apologized, and processed a full refund, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the delays, lost orders, and lack of communication ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory night.

I would really like to put zero stars. The restaurant was horrible. The service was horrible. The bathrooms were nasty. We had drinks and plastic cups. The soda was flat. The worst food the worst Restaurant I ever been to I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!!!

The only good part was the hookah. We had reservations at 12:45. The host let our server know (RED) that we were wanting to sit on the patio, she stated that she would be out there in a minute a minute turned into 20minutes then told us she would be with us in a minute. The entire time we were waiting she was at the bar on her phone as some of the staff members do. After waiting she asked what we wanted to drink we didn’t have a napkin holder on the table which provides the menu. So, she gets us waters and proceeds to walk off and sit at the bar again. We were so hungry and actually wanted to try the drinks but after waiting for her to come back we went to the bar and ordered. Then she pretends to ask did we want anything to drink and we told her we were ordering. She caught an attitude and walked off instead of trying to step in and be like don’t worry about it I got it she didn’t help us the rest of our stay. Told the manager that we ordered from the bar and when Sofia was helping us the manager told her to tell us since we ordered from the bar to continue ordering from there. The food was okay we waited a long time and we were chewing our grits the grits were grains and the waffles did not come out like the description and looked like jail food. Overall wouldn’t recommend they are overwhelmed and close the kitchen not even two hours after opening because food is taking too long. Service was horrible. Manger really isn’t doing much to fix the issue. Pictures below show staff on phone and the one in green hat who was our server. Sofia is the only one I recommend getting served by very sweet, apologized for our service experience even though she wasn’t our server, made sure we got our food and condiments.

The customer service experience was absolutely awful. Our soda were flat, and the fries were soggy. When we tried to raise concerns, the staff were indifferent, and the food was barely warm Bathrooms were disgusting. Then there was a group of people, there were just standing there hanging out before you know it they all just walked to the back went straight into the kitchen. The CEO, Ashley, was unprofessional, absent, and clearly needs to be properly trained to run a business. I will NEVER GO BACK!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NOBODY !!!

The restaurants and or waitress Zee stole my money and the manager Ashley gave the approval. My card was taken before same time as my orders and charged before food was cooked,received and consumed. ordered drinks and food. After receiving our first round, we placed a second food order and another drink. The food arrived, but the drink never did. After waiting and finishing our meal, I informed the waitress, Zee (who refused to provide her real name), that I never received the drink. She admitted she forgot and repeated this to the on-site manager, Zay (Z-A-Y). Despite acknowledging that the drink was never brought to my table, I was told I would not be refunded because drinks are “final sale.” I was informed a manager named Ashley refused the refund, although Zee initially claimed she did not know the manager’s name. I was then told I would need to send an email to request a refund. I waited approximately 25 additional minutes, was charged before my service was complete and was denied a refund for an item I never received. I have never been treated this way. This was a very unpleasant experience, and the customer service from Zee and management was extremely poor.

Went on a dang Saturday night why it was only me and 2 other ppl in there from 8-10pm I only stayed because I was invited I was excited because I wanted to go I been had this on my bucket list. Food was nasty they don’t have a full menu anymore only selective items. Drinks wasn’t strong n charged $20 for a small side car which was nasty. No dj only 2 waitresses n a manager. Gnats everywhere ewww. Only thing nice was the picture on wall. Yall how is this place still open? I was very disappointed

Garbage. Didn’t even finish this . Fries were soggy as hell. Every single 1. Got the bacon cheddar fries. Burgers tasted frozen and thawed out. Burger bun was soggy. For $17 I could have gone to Whataburger. Horrible horrible food for the price. Like how do you make soft fries. Never ever going back.

You order your food from a QR code and drinks from a different QR code and wait 45 minutes only to get COLD food. The manager only wanted to give 20% off. I declined. My husband wanted his to go, only to warm it in the microwave at home. The pickles was dried out completely dry and crumbled. My son fries were good. I just didn't want my pineapple bowl and to redo the fried pickles. The manager said no to the refund of only my food. I swear this place hardly gets business as is and you have the NERVE to not want to refund a $26.00 pineapple bowl. Only to remake it instead. Like no ma'am/sir. This is unacceptable. The entire staff is smoking and drinking like it's cool. Get your whole establishment together and do better. This is completely out of line...... The waitress and waiter tried to compensate but at this point it's a no for me.

While we understand that large parties can impact timing, our concern was not simply the wait time. We were told food would be coming out shortly on multiple occasions, yet significant delays continued without clear communication. Several guests received their meals long before others, and some orders were incorrect or incomplete. The issue was not that your food is made fresh — it was the lack of transparency and coordination. We do appreciate the complimentary drinks and items that were offered. However, those gestures came only after concerns were raised multiple times, and they did not resolve the broader service issues we experienced. Regarding the claim that members of our party were rude or disrespectful — we strongly disagree. We expressed frustration, yes, but at no point was anyone abusive or intentionally disrespectful. We expect to be treated with the same courtesy that we extended to your staff. Labeling our group as the sole problem out of 200 guests feels dismissive rather than reflective. As for the restroom comment, we did not leave paper towels on the floor. Suggesting that our group was responsible for that is unfair and unfounded. Our review was written to share our honest experience, not to attack your staff. We believe feedback — even when negative — should be received as an opportunity to improve, not met with accusations. Horrible experience. Our party waited 2 hours for just two pineapples. The waiter repeatedly said the cook was preparing the order and that another table had ordered the same item, but 2 hours is unacceptable. Many menu items were out of stock, which explains why the restaurant was nearly empty. To make matters worse, when the owner, Ashley, came to the table, the only compensation offered was 10% off or cheap house drinks. Her attitude was unprofessional and argumentative, stating “it’s not McDonald’s,” which felt dismissive given the long wait and lack of food. Which we were fully aware of as McDonald’s service is alot faster and the food is fresh. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. She also mentioned owning other restaurants after speaking with her, I understand why her establishments might be understaffed and understocked. To make matters worse the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The owners response clearly shows how unprofessional she is , no one was rude to the server and everyone one else was pleasant except Ashley the owner, your bathrooms where disgusting if the only thing you seen was the issue was tissue on the floor again your the problem, and your couldn’t pay me to come back. How are all the bad reviews the customers fault ? Get a grip , and take a business class immediately Babe.

I will start by saying our server Tokyo was phenomenal, she was attentive and bubbly. Unfortunatly, that was the only positive. It was evident early on into dinner that the place is being managed poorly. The bathrooms were disgusting. Of the 4 stalls, only one had toilet paper available and it was not the one toilet clean enough to use. For reference when I arrived there were only 2 other customers in the establishment, so for the bathroom to be in such a disarray was jarring and unexpected. Food ordered concurrently came out at vastly different times, we were told several times it would be right out, only for 20-30 mins to go by before receiving the same update again. When 2 of the group finally got their food, at nearly the 2 hour mark, we asked to speak to the manager. Tokyo goes and speaks to the owner and comes back to the table and informs us that the owner is offereing a free drink to each of the diners that waited almost 2 hours for their food or 10% off of their meals. As Tokyo is offering these options, the owner Ashley comes up behind her and clarifies that she is offering both a complimentary drink and 10% off the meal for them. When one of the diners asked if there was something more she could do, perhaps comp the meals for the wait, Ashley became very combative and rude with the group, even going so far as to say, "this isn't McDonald's babe" in response to comments about the wait times. Wildly unprofessional and very unexpected. I wasn't even going to write a review until I saw how unprofessional the owner responded to other reviews that were left. To add insult to injury, the owner wrote 1 response, then copied and pasted it as a rebuttal to any negative (true) reviews that were left. The same one I'm sure will be left under this review as well.

I’m giving this place one star. We called ahead for reservations, so we were relieved there was no wait. Unfortunately, that was the only positive. Once seated, we were told that more than half the menu and half the drinks were unavailable. On top of that, we waited over two hours for a pineapple dish. To make matters worse, the CEO, Ashley, was no help at all very incompetent, unprofessional, and rude. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. Honestly, you could get better food and customer service at McDonald’s. I will not be returning.

First off, this is the 1st time I've EVER written a review on a restaurant. I came here because they were hosting "Hip-Hop Bingo". The atmosphere and vibe, top notch. Until I ordered drinks. I ordered a drink called "Freaky Tails" and "Bud Light" once I was told they did not carry Michelob Ultra. The Freaky tails was so watered down, it may as well been called Ozarka. The Bud light was semi-cold. I informed the server that the beer was not cold. She said she'd get me another. She came back and informed me that none of the beer was cold. I shook my head and just asked for a cup of ice, since I was frustrated at this point. Another women came up to the table I'm assuming she was the manager, came up to me and informed me that the server informed her I didn't want the beer, and went on to tell me that they cannot give refunds on liquor, which I never asked for. Just ice. She also informed me that the beer has been in the refrigerator. Which leads me to assume there's no cooler for the beer otherwise it would have beer ice cold. So by far the most unpleasant experience I've had at a Bar and lounge. Maybe it was a bad day, I don't know. But totally unacceptable. If this the trouble you have with drinks, I definitely wasn't giving the food a try . My 1st and last time.

We are very disappointed in this Cali kitchen place. There was no one there to greet us upon entry, and we had to seat ourselves. We then had to wait over 30 minutes before someone even came to our table to acknowledge us and take our drink orders. Returning with the drink orders took some time as another 30 minutes had passed before we would see them. The shots were not brought out in shot glasses as standard at other restaurants and were instead served to us in plastic solo serve like cups🥤. This was weird, which we had never seen before. We were now ready to order food at this point, but no one was available to assist us with completing this. We asked the guy at the bar if he could take our food order, and he stated to us that he only takes the drink orders and is not a server and does not take the food orders. So we asked him well if he could find our waiter for us to let them know we are trying to order. Finally, the waiter arrived to take our orders, which added more confusion because we were here for their wing special we were told about, and the menu had different quantities of wings than what was being offered on the actual their wing special. This added additional time for staff explanation, which could have been avoided if this informatuon could have simply been stated provided in the menu or if the wing special would simply come in the same wing quantity amounts that are listed on the actual menu. After ordering, it took another 30 to 45 minutes to receive our orders. Now we see the same guy from the bar who told us he is not a server and only takes drink orders and did not take food orders, literally going to tables, taking food orders, and serving. This was alarming since we were the only larger table party thlere with only a few other separate diners in the facility, each dining alone. There was no cause for the continuous delays and increased long wait times. It took so long to receive our order that we just simply asked them to make it to go instead of having to wait any longer. The food was not fresh at all, the fries🍟 were cold, and the taste was bland and mediocre. In addition to dining, some of our party came to experience and participate in karaoke 🎤also, but this never took place whatsoever. They waited and waited, but sadly, it never happened. Nothing was ever done to accommodate for the long wait times or the slow service that was rendered. No apology was offered. No discounting or coupons were offered for the issues we experienced. Cali Kitchen took no accountability for their actions.. This was our first time to this establishment, and as a result of this experience, it may possibly be the last. This is not the way to make a first impression on customers. Cali kitchen, y'all need to do better‼️
