I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is awesome. Great beer selection. The staff is super nice. The food is so delicious! We came from Michigan and it just happened so happened that this place was right around the corner, they had lone star, which is what I was after. I walked in and just fell in love with the place. I am actually super sad that I could possibly never be there again. If it was in my home town I would be like Norm, or Frank Gallagher and always there with a specific stool. If you want a great time go here.

I've been here a few times to attend the comedy show that they have during the week by Riot and once to one of the poetry nights that they have. The food is really good here and the drinks are really good as well. I'm beginning to become a frequent flyer. Everything is good all around. Great vibes.

This pub began in 1978 while I was living in the Klein community of the expansion of Spring, TX. I live in Baytown now, so I never made it over here to this part of Montrose until this November 2024. Better late than never. If you love pub fare like I do, then a hot plate of fish and chips will help you through your day. There is no denying a delicious meal of hot cod ( a deep Coldwater fish!) No matter where or what part of the world you are visiting during a seasonal shift. Especially this time of the year, when temperatures begin to dip in south Texas. The reason for the food at a good level of four stars is that the chips or French fries were only seasoned curly fries leaning away from traditional chips. If you introduce this as part of your entree, then mix it up with some real cut potato fries, at least. The English and majority of people of the UK love plenty of potato. And also, plenty of malt vinegar to douse it up with. So much so that it envelops in the steam rising off the fried fish. And one can smell it enough to open the senses. Beyond my petty needs, it was good.

Seems like I've reviewed Rudyard's multiple times today for whatever reason, and don't mind reviewing such a great bar again. Excellent food menu, and now Rudyard's chef is serving his famous Gold Tooth Tony's Pizza here. Lots of classic bar games including darts, wonderful beer selection, plenty of space to hang out. Upstairs there is live comedy or music. Come check out Rudyard's.

This place is awesome. We live about 50miles away so we've only been twice in the past couple of years to see our favorite comedian, Sugar Sammy, perform at The Riot Club. We've been getting there early to enjoy the menu posted online, and it doesn't disappoint! We've sat at the bar and ordered the absolutely delicious in-house made chips and pickle/ranch dressing, and their pizza which was equally amazing! Their service is quick and the staff is very attentive. The atmosphere is chill and the decor is fun. Theres a pool table and some games. They have an outside patio that had a couple of dog water bowls which tells me they're awesome!! Wish we lived closer 'cuz this would definitely be the place we would hang out at!

My tequila soda was very weak(I watched him pour it), and the soda tasted like the lines were moldy. Must’ve been a busy and stressful night because what I encountered service wise particularly from one person (not the bartender) was rude and almost combative. (Maybe they are not getting the help they need to do their job?) I speak as someone with almost 20 years in the industry. I’ll go ahead and give them the benefit of the doubt on that as I really wanna like the place. Good food, games, cold drinks, and comedy shows. Also beware they calculate the suggested gratuity including the tax; this is not how it’s typically done. I’m all for the staff getting paid and often tip in the 25-30% range but this feels a little deceptive.

Great food and great atmosphere. Discovered this place recently. Went there when I saw they had a Detroit Style Pizza. So glad I did because it’s the best damn pizza in Houston. We also got the patty melt and it was awesome. Highly recommend this place. Only reason I am taking off a star is that the staff are not required to wear masks. I hope to visit again when the COVID risk is lower.

Disappointing experience! The food was not up to my standards Unfortunately, my dining experience wasn’t quite what I had hoped for. The food was a bit disappointing, with the dough feeling cold and raw. The bartenders also seemed a bit disinterested and unfriendly. I’m sure there are other restaurants out there that offer better service and food quality. , “cold and still raw dough”, and the bartenders seemed disinterested and unfriendly. I’m sure there are other dining options that offer better service and quality food.

I give this place three on atmosphere because of the fact that smoking of other types is allowed. The smoke was pretty strong outside when we walked up. Also... The food was okay. Only. The garlic knots were better than the pizza itself... I ordered the margherita pizza and the garlic knots. Like I said, the garlic knots were tasty and went well with the marinara sauce, but the margherita pizza was lackluster and definitely lacking in flavor. Fresh basil and mozzarella would have gone a long way to add to this pizza! The entertainment was funny. My friend and I went there for a show upstairs. It was a dating game show which was entertaining! We figured there would be plenty of singles around... We were wrong, but we still got plenty of entertainment from the host and hostess. Their act did lean more towards offending the audience, but they had a good partnership. I will probably go to the next show, because it will always be different based on the attendees. Hopefully, more people will discover and attend the dating game show that they hosted. But the place still seems like a great place to host a party, especially in the upstairs area.

You have to pay 12 dollars to eat here since the establishment has no parking, courtesy of mobile parking. It's a mandatory 12 hr that you can't adjust/ minimize. We were here 40 mins. Now to the food; The Philly cheese steak was average and the rib eye steak sandwich was terrible absolutely no flavor. I would not return

Went there for the comedy show upstairs. Prices that I paid for the food in total for myself and my wife, 1 amaretto sour, 2 long Islands and 2 cokes plus the food garlic knots, nuts and bolts and chicken fingers, $132 plus the table another $100+. The "VIP" table was nothing special either, just a table with 4 metal dinning chairs. A little too pricey for what we got. Maybe my expectations were too much but the comedians were decent, we're mostly telling the crowd that we didn't think things were funny or not laughing enough. But, seemed like a lot to do down stairs too. A place I would have stopped in my younger days. Definitely a bar vibe. The service was all over the phone as far as ordering goes. That was really convenient, dont forget a phone to do that and follow the comedians when they ask ya to.

The beer prices aren’t too shabby. Paid $7 for draft lager but the food? Meh. I definitely wouldn’t come back to eat. Was out first time and had been super excited by the other foods I seen, maybe I just picked the wrong plate but overall just wasn’t for me. The spaghetti Meatball Sammy was falling apart and I understand that would happen but they put no love into the “garlic” bread to make it toasty what so ever which made the Sammy weak. The bread didn’t even taste like garlic and the noodles lacked sauce. My boyfriend’s fruit pie was horrendous to me. Cheese wasn’t melted at all and chips kind of tasted stale. The dip was not hot either and lacked flavor. Mostly all our food was not fresh as it could’ve been. Maybe won’t come back so late in the night for food. For 2 beers, appetizer, and 2 “plates” it was $60. Deff not worth what they charge.

Never order via UberEats or DoorDash. They Never include condiments! Why would I order beer battered fish & chips and not expect tarter, vinegar nor ketchup multiple occasions
