Ashley is the best hands down. She's very attentive to detail. The fried fish and crawfish are my favorite. And the outside deck is a great place to relax on a nice day.

An older place but great tasting food. We went for the crawfish and it didn’t let us down . Such great flavor and great drink specials. $5 buck mimosa or $15 for the bottle on sundays ( w your choice of juice)

Went for some beer with colleagues. Was our company’s favourite haunt for Friday afternoon beer session in the 90s. Attracted by the smell of crawfish so bought a pound with all sides. The prawns were great, crawfish was tasty, but the cons were crawfish were small (had to attack the claws for more meat!), sausage were tasteless, potato and corn were tiny.

It’s cool going to Sam’s Boat. Easy to get in. Always plenty of seats. You go in and seat yourself. Crawfish - I got the Spicy level which is the 2nd tier from the least spicy. The crawfish was spicy but the shells were soft. Drinks - I typically order the Cadillac Marg and pending in which bartender makes it will determine the taste. I don’t always like the way it’s made if it’s not a seasoned bartender making it. I am NOT a fan of the mandatory gratuity. I think it is a rip off especially if you don’t have the best service. Please allow customers the freedom to decide how they want to tip their server.

Good vibes and food in general. The first two plates that we ordered were very good. However, the crawfish it's only good there during crawfish season. Ladies, if you want a cocktail that's sweet and strong you should ask for the frozen mimosa.

Sam's Boat is a very cool establishment. The patio is great for warm days and there are lots of screens to watch sports, big and small. Lots of seating and an eclectic crowd come here. Food is pretty standard. I ordered the shrimp poy boy. It was not bad but nothing stood out for me. I did enjoy the fries. Shrimp was crispy and well cooked. Also ordered the crawfish. The seasoning has a nice spiciness to it but didn't penetrate to the meat. Service was a bit on the slower side, it looked like there was only 1 waitress for the entire patio, which is massive. Took over 10 minutes to get my bill paid.

the fish was a little soggy. the shrimp were alright. the coleslaw was watery and unappealing overall.

The building is showing signs of neglect, arrived after a short rain storm and the ceiling leaked on me throughout my meal. The food sat in the window under a heat lamp long enough for the calamari app to get rubbery, granddaughter had crab leg boil and was up half the night with it revisiting her... Pay attention to the most recent reviews - not recommended unless you're going there to drink.

The food has seriously gone downhill. The wings are terrible!! We tried 3 different flavors and ate none of them. The seafood fondue is hit and miss. Sometimes no seafood and runny. It is a great place to watch sports. Lots of big screens and a great patio. The waitresses are rude and rarely come to the table. Best serv8ce is at the bar. Bartender service is excellent.

The BAD review- Went in July 27 around 4:30 pm. Our server was Andrea , skinny brunette, I wanted a side of michelada mix with a club soda. She informed me I absolutely had to pay for the full michelada including the beer as opposed to just a side of the mix. I did end up getting a non alcoholic beer with my mix only because she said I would have to pay the same price. But I was very disappointed. The GOOD review- the bartender today , August 17 at around 5 pm, that served us was amazing. Unfortunately forgot to ask her name. Attentive and helpful. Paid the correct price for the michelada mix. We sat on the right side bar if facing the kitchen.

Wish I could give 0 stars. This place is not worth going to. The food is bad at best. The gumbo was way too salty, the wings were very tiny! The server, a very skinny Latino girl, with a strong accent that I had a hard time understanding, was very rude. When I asked for a manager, she said he is busy in the office. We then asked for our tab and she added gratuity to it. There was only 4 of us. We asked again for a manager, and some tall skinny white guy came out of the kitchen stumbling all over the place and came to our table. He stunk of alcohol and couldn't even form a sentence. We gave up and paid the tab with gratuity just to get out of there. As we were leaving a bartender stopped us to apologize, and said this happens all the time. Told her we can't be apart of this chaos. As we were leaving, my wife pointed out the manager went behind the bar and poured himself a glass full of vodka and drink it right behind the bar. Not sure what kind of circus they are running up there, but I won't bring my family back there.

We dined here for the first time today around 7 pm. There was nobody at the host stand so we sat ourselves. The picnic tables outside were dirty with food, bugs and whatever else between the cracks. Two of us ordered off the “fresh catch” menu”. I had flounder and my boyfriend had blackened catfish. We both requested the lemon butter topping that came with shrimp and crab meat. The food was disgusted. It has no flavor. The fish wasn’t cooked long enough and was slimy. My topping didn’t have any crab meat. The mashed potatoes were cold and tasted instant. The dirty rice was cold. The corn had no seasoning. We sent all the fish back and left. My cousin had shrimp, veggies, and coleslaw. He enjoyed his meal. Our server Bre was nice. We sat outside under a tree and it was terrible. There were flies, spiders, and insects everywhere. They need lamps or something to deter insects. Most of the people around us ordered crawfish so you may want to try that if you’re considering coming here. I don’t plan to return.
