Ordered in Uber Eats. Orange Chicken - no way to eat it. Tasted old and expired. Not breaded or fried. Just boiled chicken cubes in orange sauce. Even the dog wouldn't eat it. Miso Soup tasted very old. I had to spit it out. Disgusting. Crab Rangoon was ok. Oily, but at least I could eat it or I wouldn't have had anything for lunch. I didn't even open the rice because the food just smelled bad. I threw away everything except the crab Rangoon and I only ate three of those. I don't give reviews like this lightly. You can see my other reviews for many places. I would never eat Sam's Cafe again. It really was very very bad food.

I try to avoid posting bad reviews because I sometimes wonder if it was just my preference or a one off. In this case, it was both objectively so bad, and I see a trend of reviews reporting the same. I’m not just trying to hate, I genuinely hope someone can incorporate this feedback to improve. I suggest you look elsewhere. I’m usually on top of comparing ubereats reviews to Google reviews but failed to do so this time. Out $40 for it. Look elsewhere

This place is a joke. I keep trying to stop in to get a meal to go. When you walk in the door you are blocked from proceeding any further into the restaurant. You have to shout your to go order to the man at the register who does not understand English and cannot understand what you are ordering. The whole experience is so bad I've never even gotten to taste the food. I've given them two opportunities and will never return

I ordered from a different restaurant that turned out to be this one (ghost kitchen) . Food was inedible. I made a request to GrubHub for a refund and they won't give it to me. My food container arrived broken, the chicken was overcooked and tasteless. I gagged just looking at it/ smelling it. This place needs to close down ASAP. How do you make sesame chicken without sesame's number one, and number two, how does it turn gelatinous???? I have never tasted chinese like this. Threw it in the trash.

Never in my life have I been duped like I just was with believing the lies told on the UberEat reviews for this place. This is by far, not only the worst Chinese food I’ve had, but the worst food I’ve ever eaten period. There’s no way the people saying it’s good are human. Please stay far away from this place. The orange chicken tastes like an actual fast pass to food posing. The chicken wings were overcooked and had a weird distribution of seasoning. Pay the few extra dollars and get something better.

The is the absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever seen/eaten in my entire life, the orange chicken are basically Tyson dyno nuggets with watery flavorless orange sauce, the wings where over cooked and dry. DONT ever order here, these people need to be stopped at all cost, they are a cancer to the community!

Uber Eats shows 4.8 stars with 25,000+ reviews. I can only assume this place somehow used bots to get a rating like that because it was undoubtedly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. The chicken Lo Mein was utterly flavorless. It was like eating air, except with a slightly different texture. The double cooked pork dish tasted absolutely nothing like any other double cooked pork I’ve ever eaten in my life. It tasted like shame and Tabasco sauce. Even the sweat & sour sauce I got to dip my crab rangoons in was somehow bad. It was like red flavored water. Not sure what red tastes like but my guess is that’s pretty close. This food was just so unbelievably bad. EDIT: Ok I had to come back on here and add to my review. How do they even manage to ruin the fortune cookie? I’m not sure it was even a real one. I think I got the display one that’s made of cardboard.

Shrimp still had the peel on it. Chicken has a funny taste to it like it’s from a can. Egg rolls were okay. Pass by this place all the time so decided to give them a try. Big foodie so I was very disappointed when I got home. Sorry guys but you need to step up the quality! Best of luck

My sister and I were excited to try a new restaurant and the reviews on GrubHub were amazing. I'm not sure who is giving out these rave reviews. I ate 3 pieces of the honey shrimp and 3 of the pork dumplings before I headed to work. I didn't notice that the lettuce was browning and the dumplings were not cooked right. 3 hours later, I felt strange and began vomiting at my job. I got food poisoning and couldn't even hold water down. This was almost a month ago and I still am feeling off. I now have gerd and had to change my diet, how I sleep and my work schedule so I can somewhat function like I did before. I still feel waves of nausea and occasionally have to head home early because the nausea is unbearable. I do not recommend this restaurant because I don't want anyone to have to go through the same food poisoning that I went through and be affected negatively for so long.

Save your $. Ordered from this place on Uber Eats. Thought I would give it a try since they were advertising they buy one get one free on the fried rice. They essentially took one Medium sized order of fried rice and split it into two boxes. The veggies dumplings we inedible because the dough was undercooked, I gave special instructions to use curry sauce on my chicken and broccoli to which they ignored and sent regular chicken and broccoli. The chicken had a rubbery texture and a slimy surface. This place needs to do better. Wasted my $50.

Go elsewhere. I'm not a picky eater at all and I hesitate to waste food. But this was pure trash. Fried rice had zero flavor. Some shrimp were not deviened. Puh-Puh platter appetizer was an assortment of old/reheated shrimp,eggrolls, rangoon, and what was labeled as a chicken wing. I've never seen a wing "fried" in tempura batter. One bite and I gave up. Rangoons were stale. ordered take out and it was early ahead of the stated time. The gentleman that handed me the food was courteous. The overall restaurant looked like it was in the process of going out of business with windows/doors covered and no dine in seating allowed. The restaurant did not even have the smell of food being cooked.

If no stars were available I'd leave them. I just moved to Houston so I've not eaten at many places in town. I had a long day, was hungry and wanted to sit down and eat. I was in the neighborhood and picked this place. I walk in and all the staff was eating. The lady operating the front counter comes up and says they are having lunch and it would be about 20 min wait because they were having lunch and I could come back then if I liked. I said that I would wait because I was already here. I ordered my food and asked for fried rice instead of steamed. My order is ready and I go sit back at my table a few minutes later she comes saying they don't have dine in today. She really wanted me to leave he restaurant which is clearly a dine in restaurant with dine in on the door and tables to eat. She says they don't have the staff this week to clean (you can see in pictures what a big mess she had to wipe up after 🙁) up the front and it was 5 ppl having lunch with her when I walked in. I understand businesses encounter short staff sometimes and have to improvise but don't not inform me that you're supposedly not doing dine in after you take my money. She actually never asked was it dine in but claimed I told her I was carrying out. Which is a lie because I deliberately looked for a place to dine in. I asked for my money back and she didn't want to do that "because I touched it" so I'm now taking my time dining in to eat my food and write this review because I didn't buy it to sit and eat in my car. The rice is horrible (it's just regular tasting white rice with a few pieces of egg), but I was going to accept that before the no dine in situation; the chicken is okay but service is flat out horrible. Oh and she's watching me eat.... so that's gonna be even slower eating from me. If you're not accepting dine in put a sign up! Especially since there's a nice size yellow sign on the door stating smile you're on camera. I guess they think the world is out to steal their dear Chinese food 😒
