The tamales have good flavor - but they put barely any meat- it’s mainly a masa tamal- it almost feel the masa is not cooked all the way. They make them so thick with masa and barely any meat … also if you eat there the salsa is included but if you take them to go they charge for the salsa … makes no sense you are consuming their product either way …. Also, for the amount of meat they put - they are quite overpriced… almost 4 dollars each .

This used to be a great place, but man what has happened?! Almost $4.00 for 1 tamale! Expect to pay north of $30 for a dozen. No salsa either for to go orders! I understand that food costs have gone up overall, but even Berryhill Tamales are 3 for $6.00, 6 for $10.00, and a dozen for $15.00.

Check your receipts. They be charging extra for things that you didn't order and when we found out and asked they said they couldn't do anything or refund me for the extra item that i didn't ask for. They are scamming people.

I went to get me 1 green salsa and 1 red.$12.78 was the price. It's like 5 dollars 1 tamal. First It's to expensive .the other one none 9f the 2 tamales had any flavor.its like eating masa all the way. No more.

They are big great size I spent $46 on 12 tamales great customer service but don’t recommend the tamales it was a waste of my money and I only ate one the rest are just gonna go next time I won’t buy more until I try one cause definitely wasn’t worth the money if I could get a refund that would be better but I’ll take the loss

Masa Tamales. That's all I have to say. They try to entice you by the size of the tamale but there's nothing in it. They are basically selling you a little brick of cooked masa.

40 dollars for 6 tamales that's crazy!!.. I understand the inflation.. but they sure inflated those tamales with nothing but masa!.. I even had to put my glasses on to look for the chicken... On top of that tasteless chicken no flavor, chicken looked old.. I will not be returning to this location 😒

First time at this restaurant. I absolutely love Tamales. Years ago a coworker recommended this place and I never had time to go, but after today, I understand why my Spidey senses didn't allow the time. I didn't get the traditional Tamales, you know the ones that have a balanced portion of masa and filling. No, I asked for chicken, this tamale was huge. I was super excited. Only to be disappointed. Where in the heck was the chicken. Honestly, there was some much masa and the amount of filling was a joke. So, I will definitely not be returning, unless I want masa tamale, because that is what I paid more than $8 dollars for, yes I purchased 2!!! The photos tell my sad experience 😢 They are really huge, but diseptive!! I also asked for beans and rice and they said they didn't have any. Oohhh the lies and desite. I officially break-up with Tamales Dona Tere, Farewell. Zero stars if it was an option.

Do not order Doña Teres tamales. These tamales used to be good, with a good amount of meat and flavorful masa, but this is no longer the case. The tamales are now very pricey, about 3-4 dollars each, and you only receive lots of masa and a pinch of meat. Just look at the image I took of one of the tamales. I had to take a picture because I was so stunned, and this hasn’t been the only tamale to be like this. After visiting and receiving the same horrible tamales, I will no longer be coming back, and I suggest you don’t either.

I used to love these tamales but recently they have not been fully cooked. The masa is still extremely soft and sticky. I have tried going several times in hopes that it was just a one time issue but nope. Unfortunately I will not be going back.
