I have been to the Sugar Land location countless times, but this was my first time coming to this location. My friend and I came on a weeknight about an hour before closing. We were the only ones there, which was quite nice. The decor and lighting is beautiful, and we had good service as well. We ordered red curry as well as the chili basil with chicken. Both were delicious and we got them at spice level 2, which was perfect! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

My dinner was delicious! My server was very attentive and my order was exactly what I requested (I'm kind of a picky eater). BONUS... They have a happy hour menu now.. I will definitely be back!

Miguel took such good care of us tonight. Been coming to this location and the one Bellaire since 2020 and love this restaurant. I've bought the hot oil and garlic paste in the past! Still have some and enjoy it.

Food was so delicious. The cheese rolls were amazing, probably my favorite item on the menu. The egg drop soup was good, not my favorite but decent. I had the garlic and pepper lover dish with shrimp and it was delicious but spicy and I only asked for mild spicy. The sa-te chicken was very tasty. Probably won’t return since it’s out of the way and a little pricey for lunch, but everything was tasty and the service was friendly.

This place was a buzz today! That was my first inkling lunch was going to be good. First the beverages... My sweet tea was AMAZING! It had a underlying taste I couldn't identify, but I loved it! We had the steamed dumplings to start. Very good and fresh; not chewy like some I have had in the past. Our egg drop soup and spring roll arrived next. Wasn't crazy about the egg drop. They put bits of chicken in theirs and it wasn't very hot. I can do without the chicken. I felt it gave a strange texture. I was hoping for more of the typical thick egg texture. The spring roll was a little too well done and they only give a tiny amount of sauce drizzled over it. I had to request more sauce, during a busy lunch rush, which caused me to wait longer than I wanted to eat my roll. For our entrees, we shared the Chili Basil and the Red Curry plates. Very good and filling. Both had a red pepper to indicate spicy, but the Chili Basil wasn't very spicy; the Red Curry was on point. All in all, the lunch was good. It was very busy, so the service was a little slow and could have used a tad more friendliness. My tea was not filled until requested and we had to wait awhile for our check to come after requested. I will go back. They have a full menu of items I'd like to try. The Pad Thai looked good. $35.00 (without tip) for 2 to dine.

We arrived at about 11:15 am on a Friday just after they reopened. I will say the first thing I notice is nobody is there to greet you and you're trying to figure out what to do but in the end somebody came up and met us and took us to a seat. We asked for two waters with no lemon and the waters showed up not only with no lemon but with no ice as well :) with a quick remedy of another cup of ice we placed our order which seems simple enough. Space level 2 was actually quite hot so we didn't know what level 4 or 5 would be like. We generally like spicy things but perhaps their spice meter was off for the day. Pictured is the garlic and the pepper lover. For $7.50 plus tax, I received a bowl of some amazing chicken soup, an egg roll, about 2 lb of rice and pork with vegetables mixed with the garlic pepper sauce. It was delicious and I would consider this a bargain. Considering how fast people were showing up and the restaurant was at capacity by the time we left it was amazing how fast they were able to turn around their dishes. We will be back often not only for the quality of the food and attentiveness of the staff, but because of the value.

The restaurant has a nice and cozy environment, making it a pleasant place to dine. The service is also great—staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient. However, the taste of the ginger dish was disappointing. The flavors didn’t come together well, and the meat didn’t taste fresh, which took away from the overall experience. While the ambiance and service were good, the food quality could use some improvement.

It's a nice looking restaurant, good decorations, and a large mural of Thai people cooking food on one wall. Our server, Miguel, was very attentive. The good, however, left a lot to be desired. We ordered two soups - Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups - and a side of shrimp soft rolls. We had eaten a bowl of Tom Yum soup in a pho place last week - it was a great bowl of streaming hot spicy soup which was enough for two meals actually. We were expecting something similar here so imagine our surprise when the bowls we received were like small soup cups, not a large bowl like in the Vietnamese place. The taste was also not the best - it was too much lemon and not enough heat. There were also no veggies supplied with the bowls. In the end we were left dissatisfied with what we received.

Food was absolutely delicious. Ambience was exceptional and wait staff were wonderful! I enjoyed every morsel of my meal. I visited this place again the server was high on something. Talked gibberish non stop couldn't understand what he was saying, he seemed very drunk. The food was overly sweet, standards have dropped considerably.

Had Pad Thai delivered for lunch. One of the worst I've ever had in my entire life and I've been eating Thai food for the past 30 years, and have travelled extensively to Thailand. The entire dish had some of the worst pungent fish aroma you can smell (and taste) from 30ft away. Chicken was not just overcooked but cooked to a point that it tasted like cardboard. Only positive was the spring roll and potion size.

I had lunch yesterday and ordered Pad Thai. I replaced the noodles with flat noodles, and the waiter said it would be extra, which we agreed to. The food was tasteless and overly sweet instead of medium spicy. It was bad.

Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. I ordered soup which was overly sour and didn’t meet the usual quality I’ve come to expect. When I brought this to the waiter’s attention, he ignored my concerns and curtly informed me that they couldn’t change the dish, without offering any alternative or showing understanding. At the register, there were three staff members, one lady and two gentlemen and when I shared my feedback about improving customer service, they really responded badly. one of them responded very rudely. Their dismissive and unprofessional attitude left a lasting negative impression. Thai Cottage has always been a favorite of mine, but this experience was deeply disappointing. I hope management takes steps to train their staff on better handling customer feedback and providing a more respectful dining experience.

Will not recommend this place for thai lovers. We ordered Tom Yum Soup (with shrimp), Green Curry, Pineapple fired rice (with no tofu, mushroom) egg was okay. Almost of all our dishes had one veggies which was 80% cabbage. Upon asking the server, she said they have only (carrots, cabbage) vegetables. Will go to my family favorite thai restaurant (authentic thai food) “Trinity Street Food”
