Almost 5 stars across! We opted for the restaurant week selection (still ordered regular items as well lobster Mac etc)… the manager really helped push the overall rating to 5 stars. I’ve been to other restaurants under the umbrella and though polite the server gave me the impression I was being upsold at every interaction. The manager however circled back and checked on us several times and even offered an additional Butter cake for our anniversary 😮‍💨

I came in for a random dinner and sat at the bar but I felt like I received special service from the parking until I left. Nia was my bartender and she was attentive the entire time. Her suggestions from the entree to the dessert was spot on and I have a new daily dinner location. The highlight was the seasonal butter cake which I was convinced to get even though I’m not a dessert type of guy but it was phenomenal! Thank you for the great service and food, you’re missing out if you dont go here.

I had an amazing dinning experience at Mastro’s last week while visiting Houston with friends. The restaurant was beautiful and the ambiance was immaculate with mood lighting and live music. The service and attention to detail at this location was outstanding. Our waiter, Sam, wowed us with his knowledge of the menu and absolutely perfect recommendations. The manager, Aleksander, was very pleasant and made sure to stop by our table to check in on our experience. Everything we ordered was delicious. Big thank you to all the staff at Mastro’s for giving us a five star experience!

My husband took me here for my birthday. The ambiance was there, it was dark but romantic. It got a little noisy but we were enjoying everything so it did not bother us. Our waiter was Michael! He made sure our experience was top tier! Best waiter I’ve encountered in a very long time!! 10 out of 10 for just his service alone! The food was amazing! I have no complaints at all!

As a regular customer who dines in quite often, I love Mastro’s - last nights experience took the cake. NEW YORK CITY SCOTT was our waiter and he did not miss a beat. Amazing service! Most of my visits are a pleasant experience but Scott went above and beyond. Amazing night, wonderful food and great drinks.

We had such a wonderful evening here. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very attentive throughout the night. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing, everything looked stylish and the interior was beautiful. It really made the whole experience feel special. The only thing I would mention is that it was a bit noisy because of the waterfall and the large crowd, but honestly, it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time. Overall, it was a fantastic evening and I would definitely recommend this place.

We came here to celebrate my friends birthday and this place is absolutely the best. 10 out of 10 Lauren and Lanaya did an amazing job. Taking care of us. Service was amazing, the food was delicious. I had the best time. We sat out on the patio next to the waterfall and the weather was perfect. Lena took care of us and David made the night great as well with all the wine recommendations. Steak was perfect, company was perfect, and the wine was perfect. Will be back soon!

I have been too many of the Top steak houses in the Houston area; Steak 48, Flemings, B&B, Vic and Anthony’s, etc., etc. and Mastros topped them all. The food, the Service, the drinks, were all exceptional. Josh was our waiter and took care of us. The filet mignon and truffle gnocchi were excellent choices. Highly recommend a visit.

I took my girlfriend here for her Birthday and the food, service and atmosphere was FIRST CLASS. We ordered the fillet mignon steaks and it was tender, juicy and so tasty. Highly recommend. The Mac n cheese and Brussel sprouts were delicious and the portions were wholesome and big enough for us to share them. Our waiter, staff and the manager Cody went above and beyond to make my girlfriend’s Birthday extra special. They dropped dry ice in her margarita to give it a bubble effect, gave her an extra dessert dish with her name written on it, a custom menu with her name on it and the manager kept checking on us. We will be going back here soon. Such a great fine dinning experience.

While celebrating the holidays with friends (Dec 23rd) we decided to dine for dinner. Usually the holidays are quite busy for any place during this time but Masteo’s didn’t miss a beat, which we appreciated! From the time we walked in, to enjoying dinner and leaving, our service was exceptional. DiAnei made sure our experience was curated by answering our questions on the menu, being attentive and ensuring we didn’t leave without trying to delicious butter cake! Coupled with the live music we didn’t anticipate by Luke Whitney, we couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience! Any dish on the menu would be exceptional but my suggestion is definitely do not leave without trying the Mac And Cheese and any cut of Steak! The atmosphere at Mastro’s is always inviting and welcoming! Very excited to go back for the exceptional service and can’t wait to see what surprises await!

Valentine’s Day 2026 Onur was our waiter for the evening. He was absolutely amazing from the beginning to end. First and foremost, from the beginning, we were welcomed with open arms and beautiful smiles at the front. Our host escorted us to our table and gave us further direction. Now, the star of the show was our waiter, Onur. He made amazing suggestions for myself, as well as as my man. We ended up getting a number of items from starters, appetizers, to our entrées, as well as cocktails. Our glasses were never empty, and our bellies were always full. This restaurant never ceases to amaze us nor fail us. The service is always exceptional, the ambience is always sexy, intimate and chic. And the food is always flavorful warm and never takes too long. But whenever y’all do come, ask for Onur, as a man goes above and beyond for his guest. Thank you again!

I visited Willie G's this afternoon for their Christmas Buffett, and at $69, it was a great experience. There was an impressive variety of options from appetizers and entrees to sides and desserts and everything I tried was good. The food stayed fresh and was constantly being replenished, which made a big difference. They even had a prime rib carving station and sushi selections, which really elevated the spread. It was the perfect way to spend Christmas 🎄 enjoying great food without having to prepare it myself. I would absolutely do this again.

The service was high-class from the moment we walked in, and the food lived up to the reputation—fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. The trio seafood salad was exceptional, and the bang bang shrimp hit all the right notes. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy, making it ideal for business conversations or a refined lunch. Valet parking added a convenient finishing touch. Strongly recommended.

While reminiscing about a past visit to Maestro Steakhouse and their unforgettable Italian Cream Cake, one of Willie G's managers overheard our conversation. To our surprise and delight, he not only agreed with us about how good that cake was, but he also went above and beyond by offering to personally walk over to Maestro and purchase three cakes for our celebration — and he followed through. That level of service, where a business is willing to coordinate with another just to make a customer’s evening extra special, is truly exceptional and rare. It left a lasting impression on everyone at our table. As for the food — everything we ordered was excellent. I had the red snapper, and it was perfectly cooked: moist, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish served to our party met the same high standard. From the food to the thoughtful gestures and top-tier hospitality, Willie G's delivered a five-star experience across the board. We will absolutely return and continue to recommend this establishment to others.

My experience- The service at Mastro’s steakhouse was phenomenal. They were very attentive with hardly any wait time. I do think they should be stricter in enforcing the dress code to match the upscale atmosphere. The food itself was amazing. One thing that really stood out for me was the truffle butter that paired perfectly with our steaks. I ordered the filet mignon that was cooked to perfection and my partner went big with the Australian wagyu tomahawk. The quality was undeniable, though we both agreed a touch more salt would have taken it over the top. Our sides were garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and lobster mac and cheese. The potatoes were the only letdown, a bit on the bland side but the asparagus was really delicious and crisp, and the lobster mac and cheese was top tier! At the end, we received a complimentary dessert for my partner’s birthday that we were really surprised by! It was a butter cake that melted in your mouth. Overall, an exceptional dining experience with incredible flavors and standout service.

I was disappointed in my meal I order the Lobster Mac and cheese the Snapper A La and Single Lobster Tail it wasn’t really what I expected everything just taste fake even the lobster taste old , I didn’t eat my food I took it home but I didn’t want to complain i was trying to make it a good night since it was my birthday Our table was very small didn’t like the idea that it couldn’t fit us all .The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. Great experience overall. I called last minute when plans fell through for Valentine’s Day and they were understandably booked. The hostess was able to find us a table and got us reserved. We showed up 15 minutes early (5:45) and they sat us right away. Getting there later would have been a longer wait, this place filled up fast (over 800 reservations just that evening). Our waitress (Tuy) was amazing and very attentive. All of the staff who served us were exceptionally professional and attentive. The food portions served “family style” were very generous. We decided to split the 1/2 orders of mac&cheese and Brussel sprouts, and we weren’t able to finish them. The steak was a poor choice on my side I believe. I ordered the dry-aged and it was not a flavor we will be requesting again. Perhaps paired with a wine to bring out more flavors could have enhanced the experience, but I’m not a wine drinker. The tallow fries were excellent, the marrow appetizer did not meet expectations from other similar establishments we have visited. The lemon dressed arugula garnish saved the day for the marrow. Make a reservation, plan ahead, valet or getting dropped off is the only option, dress appropriately for fine dining, and enjoy the waterfall ambiance provided at a Houston Gem.

We celebrated our anniversary here. We came during lunch time and were seated in the bar area. Lunch crowd was nice because it wasn’t overly crowded. Just a heads up to whoever is bringing a baby, there was not a changing table in the women’s restroom. Food was delicious, we started with the Bourbon Osyters, crab cakes and burnt ends. The bourbon osyters were really good. My husband loved the burnt ends with the Cole slaw. Main course Waygu ribeye for my husband Crab stuffed flounder for me Sides: Mac and cheese and king crab fried rice All was delicious, the ribeye was cooked to perfection! The flounder was nice and light. Mac n cheese and king crab fried rice were good. I would try different sides next time, the Brussels sprouts sounded great. Drinks: old fashioned, spicy margarita and espresso martini Old fashioned, a little on the sweeter side but nonetheless good. The spicy margarita was excellent, great flavor. The espresso martini was good too a little on the sweeter side for me personally. We had the apple crumble for dessert which was very good. Overall good atmosphere, elegant.

The food was excellent—everyone in our group was happy with their meals, and that says a lot. You can tell everything is thoughtfully prepared and well-crafted, from the appetizers to the entrées. I had a pretty mixed experience here. The first drink I ordered was a martini and it was made with vanilla by mistake, which did get replaced, but then our second drink was supposed to be a Sprite and we were given soda water and that one never got fixed. The third drink was a lemonade that came warm with no ice, although they did fix that. There was also a wet floor next to our table the entire dinner with towels laid down but no wet floor sign, which felt unsafe, and the tables themselves were very worn down. The food was mostly good, but the wedge salad was almost impossible to cut and most of the lettuce was yellow so it barely felt like a salad, and the grilled salmon was just okay and didn’t have much flavor. On top of that, the restaurant is very bright, so if you’re looking for a darker, chill atmosphere, this isn’t really the place.

I’m sad that I am even in this position to write this as I love Mastros. I have been here countless times since they first opened in 2017. I have hosted birthday celebrations, date nights, and have been invited here often to dine with a host of friends throughout the years. The food and setting were AMAZING, but the service fell well below expectations. Our server, Carmelo (something like this) was abrupt and impatient while taking our order and did not check in during the meal. Long wait times were explained dismissively, and there was unnecessary argument over a complimentary birthday cake, framed as solely the chef’s decision rather than handled with hospitality. When asking about the bread options, he immediately assumed we were concerned about price, responding that it was “just $5,” which felt uncomfortable. The server was also unaware of my husband’s shellfish allergy and did not acknowledge that we were celebrating his birthday. In contrast, Juan T. from the water staff was excellent—attentive, kind, and proactive despite a language barrier. He frequently checked on us, cleared the table, offered water, and even boxed our food in front of us after the server said it wasn’t possible. Juan’s service was the highlight of the evening. Alicia (cocktail waitress) was polite and confirmed that what we experienced was not just. She felt compelled to share our experience with her manager, DiAnei whom was very polite and apologetic. Even though my husband does not want to revisit, I will bring him back so that he can understand why this establishment is one of my favorites and to not let our server tonight to spoil such a great place.

I expected a top-quality dining experience given the reputation and prices at Mastro’s, but the tables here are a serious problem. The design leaves very little legroom, and the table supports hit directly against my knees. This isn’t just uncomfortable—it’s caused me physical pain, and I’ve even had to visit the hospital twice because of it. For such a high-end restaurant, it’s disappointing that so much investment went into décor and presentation, but basic comfort and functionality were overlooked. Dining should not feel like a health risk. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously and replaces these tables with something suitable for fine dining. Until then, I cannot recommend this location.

We love Mastro's and have been going for years. Every special occasion, Birthdays, Anniversary's, when we have special guests come into town etc etc. We had my husband brother fly in from another state and took this opportunity to take him to our favorite place for dinner and at the same time invite their other brother and wife who also had never been and heard us talk about it a lot. We have spent thousands of dollars dining here and never had a bad experience...until now. We came as a party of 5 on Tuesday evening around 6pm. We all dressed up smart as I had warned them about the dress code as it was fine dining. As soon as we sit down the first thing I notice is a guy sitting at the bar in a HOODIE !! and it immediately took the tone of the place down. There was also some firm event going on so the lovely area where the waterfall feature is had been shut off by big glass doors and all the tables were squashed up towards the bar, and we could no longer sit near this beautiful feature like we had always done on previous visits. The noise level in Mastros was something we had never experienced before. It was like a night club! They were pumping out music like it was Happy Hour at a dance Party and even the staff had to shout at us to tell us about the specials on the menu. Gone was the intimate romantic setting, the quiet, low lights, and fine dining ambience. It was awful. It truly ruined the whole night and we were embarrassed as we had always told everyone how good it was and they always seen our photos on social media and here they were having a dinner where we had to shout at each other and could not even hear the person next to us. It is my Birthday next week and we were coming back for it, but if this is the new normal for Mastros then I'm afraid we will never be back. The food was great but and $800+ meal was ruined by the atmosphere and staff not making sure everyone was dressing to the code. There was also a lady playing the piano and singing which I did not even know until I was leaving so why would you even be playing music over the top of her? absolutely awful experience and I am so upset and I do not want my Birthday to be ruined so I may skip this next week which is a shame as I have been to Mastros for my Birthday every year for years!
