Cute place with a bunch of food options. We came here for a Saturday night dinner, party of two. There aren’t too many Vegan restaurants in Houston. This one is with a Mediterranean/ Indian twist. Note, if you are party of 4 or more 18% gratuity is added automatically. I would definitely recommend others to give this a try.

I absolutely loved my visit to Just Falafel Vegan Cafe! 🌱 I ordered the Mint Lemonade and honestly—it’s mind-blowing. So refreshing and perfectly balanced, a must-try drink here! 🥂 The Falafel Rice Bowl was on another level—so flavorful, fresh, and clearly made in-house with so much care. It’s one of the best falafel bowls I’ve had anywhere. The ambiance is equally amazing—the indoor decor is superb, and the patio is perfect for private parties while enjoying views of the sky-high buildings around. Such a unique spot to relax and soak in the city vibe. This place is a must, must, must visit if you’re in Houston! Highly recommend it for both the food and the atmosphere.

The food is good quality and tastes fresh. This is our 3rd time visiting. Lots of options. They have multiple desserts, but after the meal I’m always too full. Mildly flavored and low salt, which is good.

I recently decided to change my diet and found this place in a google search. It had the highest ratings near me so I decided to give a try! I’m so glad that I did! I loved the salad bar, gyro truffle fries and mint lemonade! The ingredients tasted so fresh! The owner and employees were very nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!

Just Falafel has become my "go-to" place to grab a vegan meal while working. My first time at this lovely restaurant was Labor Day, September 1st. Since that time, I have been back 3 times this week. Lol! Needless to say, I really love this place. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet the owners of the establishment and compliment them on the decor, menu items, and the delicious Jackfruit Tacos. They are a must have for any taco lover. You will not be disappointed. After having lunch there this past Friday and working from my favorite booth, I invited a friend to come and try the location. She absolutely loved it and rated it 10/10! Since I couldn't seem to stay away, I returned Friday evening and ordered the Mediterranean Harvest Pasta with Jackfruit. Let me say, this meal would rival any top Italian restaurant. This dish has everything going for it and will have you craving for more. Lastly, don't neglect the full bar with a variety of drinks, alcoholic beverages, coffee, and espresso.

I’m a little late posting this (visited back in July), so sorry, but Just Falafel Cafe definitely deserves the spotlight so here I am! I had been wanting to visit for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The ambience is elevated and welcoming, with a modern, high-end feel — perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. What really stood out to me was the heart behind the business. The owners are vegan and have clearly poured their passion into this cafe, from the thoughtful menu to the warm, personal service. One of the owners was there during our visit — such a kind, genuine gentleman who made us feel right at home. Now, onto the food — phenomenal. We tried: Original Falafel Wrap, Curly Fries (easily the best fries I've ever had), Crispy Baked Mac n Cheese, and Mediterranean Harvest Pasta. Also tried a refreshing green mint-flavored drink — I wish I could remember the name because it was an absolute winner. Cool, vibrant, and the perfect complement to the meal. I went there with my kids, and they loved every single bite. Whatever we couldn't finish, they were excited to eat again later that evening — that says everything! If you're in Houston — whether you're vegan or not — Just Falafel Cafe should absolutely be on your must-try list. We can't wait to return on our next trip :)

Absolutely love this place. My boyfriend and I aren't vegan or vegetarian, but love falafel. It did not disappoint and the gyro was amazing. You really can't tell it's not meat. The texture and taste is unreal and you feel great after eating the meal. Highly recommend the 7-layer hummus and falafel. Great drinks as well!!

Omg!! My boyfriend brought me here on a Sunday because I was craving a good bite. And let me tell you. The service was great, the vibe was so chic, zen and soothing. The food was sooooo good I didn’t get pictures until we started digging into our main courses. He got the quesadillas trio, I got the loaded nachos and we shared the avocado hummus 3 falafel side. Everything was fresh, hot & delicious 🤌🏾💚. P.S. let me not forget our drinks, he got a Long Island and I got the Mint Lemonade(this was both our fav! It was so refreshing and if you like/love mint definitely try this.

Accidentally came across this vegan spot while we were looking for vegetarian food options. We’re pleasantly surprised with the amazing choices and exhaustive menu that this place had to offer when you walk in it is nice and cute and clean and the service is excellent. It feels sophisticated and high-end decor. They have a build your bowl kind of set up that you can get or you can order from the menu. We decided to get the jackfruit tacos which were absolutely excellent. I was tired of eating tofu and soy and name of being vegan, but this was a great change. I also got the green goddess soup which was absolutely amazing. Hubby got the beyond Berger which he liked along with Matcha drink. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend this place to vegans vegetarians or anybody else who’s just trying to experiment and explore, you will not be disappointed.

I wanted to try something new for my birthday, so weeks in advance, I searched for places in Houston since I love Texas. Just Falafel Vegan Cafe immediately caught my eye with its stunning photos and impressive menu—I knew right away this was going to be a fine dining experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted. The woman assisting me was incredibly kind, checking in throughout my visit and informing me about any possible substitutions. For my meal, I ordered the avocado hummus, falafel nachos, and a latte. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients tasted fresh and wholesome—none of the artificial additives you sometimes find at other vegan spots. Beyond the food, the café’s interior was absolutely beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice! The entire experience was exceptional, from the ambiance to the service to the delicious food. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This vegan restaurant opened about 4 months ago, and it is crazy good! The decor is beautiful, the staff is super nice, and the food is delicious! Prices are very reasonable, and portions are generous. The Beyond Burger with fries is huge, and the 7 layer Hummus you can tell is made from scratch. This one definitely stays in our favorites list. We will come back for sure next time we are in town.
