Zapvor is a great Thai restaurant for family & friends. Great for large parties & special occasions. You have to try the Pad Kee Mao. The rice noodles were the perfect texture and the tofu was cooked right to a good firm consistency. I would also try the mango sticky rice if you love sweet rice. I love the dishes they bring the food on made from bamboo. The service was pleasant, the music was calm & inviting, and the food came out on time. It was fresh and full of flavor.
Different choice in Asian cuisine. Quaint, cozy atmosphere. I had the beef bowl. Much like Pho but with a thicker bisque like broth. Was absolutely amazing. Looking forward to running thru the menu over the next several months. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Everything on the menue looked great. What i saw others eating looked great. The green curry is pretty good. I'll be coming back for sure.
One of the best Thai places I’ve had in the area. The taste is flavorful and feels authentic, and the ambiance and service is phenomenal. The Zap wings are amazing, definitely get it, and it could satisfy as a meal in itself. I had my to-go for Thai (Pad See Ew), and while the flavor wasn’t as heavy as some other places, it still beat my expectations. The portions are very good, definitely recommend for a nice place to sit down and get lunch, dinner, or any meal.
Overall a good experience only . Place was clean. Staff was courteous. Dishes are not too large . Just enough for 1 person . All items are good . Spice levels are true to numbers. We ordered 3,4 which was pretty good considering we eat good spice . Pannag curry was good. Basil fried rice was the best. We were so full couldn’t order desserts 😃
Food was authentic and amazing. This is the closest Pad Thai to Pad Thai we had in Thailand. The noodle bowl was something new, the name was in Thai so not sure what it's called, but it tastes pretty sweet and flavorful, almost like their sweet pork dish. Som tum was super fresh, we could literally smell the lime as if it was just cut. Pork belly appetizer was crispy and fresh, I feel like the sauce had a bit of tamarind in it which was a nice little touch. Delicious. Cannot wait to go back and try their other dishes!! Kapunka!
Enjoyed our visit to ZapVor. The staff was pleasant and attentive, but not intrusive. A nice selection of appetizers, entrees, and drinks. We couldn't decide, and ended up getting several appetizers, all of which were hot, fresh, and delicious. The food is excellent and well presented. My niece, who is on the picky side, loved everything, especially the calamari and grilled squid. She lamented that we should have brought more people with us, so we could try more dishes. She loved, and specifically commented on the decor. It's a relatively small space, but doesn't feel crowded, with pleasing interior & subdued lighting. Comfortable booths. Atmosphere is not high on my list of required attributes, but in this case, it really adds to the experience.
ZapVor by Thai Spice is one of my absolute favorite spots in The Woodlands. The cozy ambiance makes it feel warm and welcoming, and the staff, who seem like family and are from Thailand, always make me feel right at home. The whole place feels family owned and authentic, and the food is incredible every single time. I love the curry puffs and the summer fresh rolls with shrimp, and the chicken gai yaang is out of this world — perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Pad Mama noodles with just a little spice are one of my go to dishes and always delicious, and my girlfriend only orders the Pad Kee Mao because it is her favorite in the area. Everything here is full of flavor and made with so much care. I always leave happy and already looking forward to my next visit.
I've tried this place a few times since they opened. Looks like the hiccups are fixed, and they have a pretty good following. A little spice goes a long way here. Service is on point. Everyone is super friendly. You wouldn't know it was Thai by the decor, but there are some nice things hanging out. I enjoyed my lunch overall. I'm glad they're doing well. My friends and I will try to return for dessert now that more is being served. I haven't found a dish that wows me yet, but I've only tried a handful of dishes. Papaya salad, tom yum soup were ok today. I also had green beans and ground pork. It was different. I think sweeter than I expected. I will be back to try some other dishes next time. Last time I had the egg and pork special, that was pretty sweet too. Sugar must be a secret ingredient in these dishes. Thai Tea is always fun, and the place is super clean. This is the most authentic Thai place by far on this side of town. I'll be back, still looking for that one dish I love so i can come back regularly.
Excellent authentic Thai. Nom Tok beef salad is wonderful. Order it extra juicy and with sticky rice. Pad Ka Prow pork is perfectly spiced. Mussaman curry was great just a bit watery. Too much coconut milk? Pad Thai is great just a little sweeter than I like. Mango sticky rice was perfect!
Good experience here. The roti was good although the sauce wasn't great the roti bread made up for it. Pad kee mao was excellent and large portion without skimping on the protein. Only disappointing part was ordered Thai hot and it wasn't that spicy.
The restaurant is pretty inside. I don’t understand why people are complaining about prices for? The portions are big and there was so much food. I had a noodle soup dish that was extremely flavorful and there was a lot of meat and veggies. My fiancee had a chicken noodle dish and same thing, i usually have to ask for extra veggies and they and I am glad this time we didn’t have to. Thai tea wasn’t overly sweet which made me happy. They kept our waters filled and checked on us. Also people complaining about service, you know you can call someone and they will bring what you need right? Lol
Staff were very attentive. Food was fresh and hot. Tom Kha was outstanding! - fresh coconut flavor, mild cilantro and lime were blended perfectly. Crispy pork belly was not my favorite but had good flavor. Can't forget dessert! Sticky rice was warm. Mango was ripe and sweet. Loved it!! Peaceful atmosphere.

Date night at ZapVor. Went to ZapVor last night for the first time. We got there a little before 7, and the first thing we noticed was how well the decorations were done. We were greeted promptly and very welcomed. We had a choice of plenty of tables, although it filled up pretty much by 7:30. First up, martinis! I love lychee martinis, and theirs does not disappoint! She had the signature ZapVor martini which was great also...kind of a fancy Cosmo. Appetizer was the ZV Sachet, a filo wrapped nugget of goodness with minced shrimp and pork. For entrees we shared chicken Pad Peanut with medium spice and the Pad Ped with catfish with regular spicy. Both were delicious, although we wished we had gotten the chicken a little spicier! I am looking forward to working my way through several items on their menu! Service was extremely friendly and we loved their uniform shirts! A very nice addition of authentic Thai close to the house!
Amazing food! Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in town! A must try! We went for lunch and prices were very reasonable. Food was hot, fresh, flavorful and super satisfying. And service was very good too, friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely go back!
We sampled 5 Thai restaurants in the area. ZapVor was the last and the best. It's now a weekly meal for us. The service is friendly and fast. The food is awesome. If you ask for thai hot you get thai hot. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🙂🙂 Whatever protein you choose, you'll get more than most places. Highly recommend.

Wow… all I can say is this restaurant has the best Thai food I’ve ever tried. It is delicious. The restaurant is incredibly clean and the employees are kind and always making sure everything is good. I can’t wait to go back. I ordered the chicken red curry yum!!
First time here. We hadn’t had Thai food since Washington state 5 years ago! So after doing some light shopping at the Asian Market we stopped here. I ordered the tofu and green beans in the peanut sauce at a 3 for spice. It was delicious! Our server was attentive and helpful. We had no waiting for seating and our food to be served! Very clean and music was soothing. Will definitely come back.
I love the green papaya salad and the stir fried crispy pork with basil. The head part of the fried whole fish was fishy and the dipping sauce with complicated flavors. The pork shoulder should be called pork knuckles and it was very sweet flavor. Personally I don’t like it.
The food is good. There are plenty of vegetarian options. In most cases, adding meat and shrimp is an option. The kiddo really liked his food. Even though he isn't a fan of rice, he likes sticky rice. However, the food is overpricing for what it is. $15 for noodles seems excessive.
We had a birthday celebration here and were given a privacy section that was amazing for us to enjoy the day. The place was nice. Food was hit and miss in some areas but overall good. I loved the platter, which had a variety of appetizers. The fried rice was okay. Didn't really fancy the sate. Overall, the food was still good, and service was excellent.

Food was overrated and overpriced.. Great service but the seating is not the most comfortable. The calamari was tender but it wasn't seasoned. It was very sweet. The pineapple fried rice was average. It wasn't overdone with the curry powder. The Pad Woon Sen tasted as if they cooked everything separately. It lacked flavor and the chicken was very tough. I won't be coming back.

DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL. I went this weekend with my family and we order overpriced FOOD and the plates were very small. I got a specific drink there and FOUND A MAGGOT IN MY BOBA. I could not even say anything because it was one of my family members birthday and i didn’t want to ruin it for them. I was disgusted so much that i saw it swimming after i had drank the whole thing and i lost my appetite. The service was alright. As far as that i could not even finish my food with what i had seen.
