First off, homemade pasta! Yes! I appreciate restaurants that make their pasta in house. I ordered the shortrib ravioli, my son ordered the pizza, my wife ordered carbonara. All dishes where wonderful. We enjoyed the bottle of wine. Thank you for the great experience.
We had a great experience here — the food was delicious and the overall vibe was warm and inviting. The Arancini was nicely crispy on the outside, and the Linguine Tarantine was excellent, with very fresh and flavorful seafood. The staff was friendly and welcoming, though the service was a bit on the slower side. That said, the relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy our time. We also appreciated how accommodating the space was, with plenty of room for a baby stroller and a dog-friendly patio. Overall, it’s a great spot to sit back and enjoy a meal, and we’d happily come back.
Don’t feel like burgers and fries, but want something else besides Mexican? Then come to Nardi! Fresh made pasta and pizza in a super chic decor in the middle of Pacific City. There are white and red sauce pizzas, both of which are fired up in their special pizza oven. Even the kids pizza is made from the fresh dough and has crispy pockets in the crust (no complaints from a picky 3 year old that joined us on this outing), The pasta is perfectly cooked and sauced just right without the excess sauce that most places put. The fettuccine with wild boar is the top seller and portion sizes are adequate even for big eaters. The lobster ravioli had a nice rice sauce with 6 big raviolis in the plate. For seafood lovers, there’s branzino and for the adventurous there’s seafood linguini with squid black ink. The sides are tasty, but a touch on the expensive side with a Cesar salad at $16, but the meatballs, broccolini and prosciutto are all tasty. Service was impeccable with the waitress passing numerous times to check in the table.
I tried three pizzas and it was delicious. We searched top 50 pizzas in US, and it ranked 24th in 2025. We sit outside and excellent weather made me relaxed. Food: Tried three pizzas instead of pasta or appetizer. They had red, white and specialty we tried one of each section. Diavola from red, La pugilese from white and Nardo from specialty. Among them Nardo was the best but overall satisfactory. Especially dough was very chewy and very good. Atmosphere: Nice vibe and outdoor seats were recommended if weather is fine. Parking: Parking is validated. May try different pizzas later.
Heard about this place as being a “top 25” pizza in the us and I had to give it a try. I was going to the beach in Huntington Beach and looking for a place close to the water and pulled this up on my list. There weren’t many people in there when I went in and I got a table Immediately. Service was quick, pizza was yummy and the view was great. Highly recommend this pizza if you are in HB, looking forward to trying more things here
“I had an exceptional experience at Nardò Italian Restaurant. Every dish we tried—from fresh gnocchi to a perfectly crafted pizza—was flavorful and authentic, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the meal even better. The service was attentive and friendly throughout. This place earns a full five stars and is a must-visit for anyone who loves great Italian cuisine
Amazing Italian restaurant! Outstanding service. We were greeted and promptly seated without reservation. Plenty of friendly staff, unlike many other restaurants that lack enough staff or disgruntled and underpaid. The ambiance is amazing. The indoor dining area is very chic. The outdoor patio has an amazing view of the sunset and Huntington Pier. Just marvelous! The menu features a lot of choices to fit whatever you're craving. All the ingredients are fresh and very flavorful. We ordered a pasta dish, ravioli, and a pizza. Each dish looked delicious with a matching flavor. As an added bonus, prices were very reasonable considering the quality of food, the outstanding service, and the amazing location with a view. Strongly recommend if you're in Huntington Beach!
One of the very rare places with a solid neopolitan margherita pizza with proper dough, tomato sauce and cheese. Low key top 1 or 2 in the LA area. 10/10 The sea bass was cooked fluffy soft and buttery flavored. 10/10 The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. 10/10 The lamb Ragu was solid 8/10 the pasta itself was nothing special and the Ragu sauce was just good Service was great Prices very reasonable Dog and family friendly Parking validation is available Highly recommend!
First time visiting and we will definitely be going back. We had a delicious dinner and the service was perfect. Calamari and Shrimp to start. My husband had the Lasagna, I had the Ravioli and we shared the fried pizza, everything was very good. I highly recommend.
My team was traveling for work and we found this restaurant close to where we were staying. I’m SO glad we stumbled upon Nardo because it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we had. Our server was very friendly and had an exquisite Italian accent. He suggested a few items including potato croquettes and calamari. We also ordered some pizzas to share and individual plates as well. Everything here was delicious and the server was awesome. I’d come back here if in the area again.
We’ve now eaten here twice. We visited for dinner. The pastas were delicious. Then we went for lunch and had pizza. Very good. Overall I’d recommend and will be back.

Food was hot and served relatively quickly. They have a full bar but no grapefruit juice. You can see a beautiful sunset

Amazing food, atmosphere and service! Bailie was our server and took great care of us. We had the croquettes, the pesto gnocchi and the seafood stew, all of which were delicious! Pistachio tartufo for dessert. Make sure you stop here during your trip - It’s was outstanding!
Love the place, the staff the food everything is great. Can’t believe my pizza was ready that fast and that good. Micheal was great came and helped me and is super friendly and nice, definitely coming back again!!!!
Nardo Italian in Huntington Beach has a lot going for it — starting with the location. The views from the outdoor seating area are fantastic and really set the mood for a relaxing meal. The food overall was solid. The pizzas had great flavor, though I wish the crust was a bit more crisp instead of being on the soggier side. The gnocchi pasta was good, but I found myself wishing for a bit more depth in flavor. The Italian Margarita was okay — not bad, but not particularly memorable either. Now for the highlight: the tiramisu. Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Light, creamy, and the perfect balance of flavors. I’d come back for that alone! One downside was the service. While friendly, I felt rushed — as if my server wanted me to wrap things up quickly to turn the table for others waiting. It took away from what should’ve been a more relaxed dining experience. All in all, I’ll definitely be back. Nardo’s has a lot of potential and some real highlights.
We had one of the best pizzas in town - straight from their stone-oven. The Burrata cheese was also very yummy. Great place and ambience but the service needs to move a couple of notches to fall in line with the food and the ambience. If you’re at Huntington Beach, this is a nice spot to have a meal. The basement parking at the mall is paid, but can be validated if you are dining there.
This is a nice, private and relaxing restaurant. The vegana pizza was delicious and I loved the artichoke salad. I had a lovely time. The reason for 4/5 states was service. Super nice server but very, very slow. No refills on drinks and we had to wave him down a few times. I understand it was busy, but we made a reservation and hoped to be done eating at 60-90 minutes. We were there for 130 minutes due to waiting. Otherwise, great food!

1st the atmosphere is gorgeous. Beach views , the live music near by.. 2nd the food was OK. I was sooo wishing for more depth in flavor . When I go to an Italian resturaunt, i have a certain expectation of what Italian food is supposed to taste like. The pizza was good, but the crust was more on the soggy side, and the sauce was watery runny. I am an Italian ravioli, kind of girl and was a bit disappointed because I was expecting a creamy ravioli type sauce, but it was more of a tomato purée. And maybe that was my fault just assuming that all raviolis Are in a creamy Italian sauce. But for the showstopper… The pistachio dessert was absolutely delicious. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had definitely in the top five.!!!

I have been to Nardò on two separate trips to down to California to try their pizza since they are on the top50 pizza’s in the USA list. However both of my visits to Nardò were somewhat disappointing for me (expectations were very high as they are high on the top50 list). Although Nardò is neopolitan style pizza where char is expected, their crust was a little to “charred / burned” for my tastes resulting in a overwhelming char flavor that is somewhat off-putting especially when they paired a few of their pizzas with a smoked cheese. If you like super charred this place might be right for you.
My husband & I went to Nardo for a date. One of our friends had recommended it. I ordered the spinach ravioli and my husband ordered the gnocchi. We both thought that the food was okay. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t make us want to go back. It took a long time to get our food. The location is pretty. It’s in Pacific City near the center of the shopping center. You can see the ocean on the other side of PCH. We parked in the underground parking garage. They validate, so it wasn’t expensive.
I ordered a pizza to go — they promised it would be ready in 5 minutes, and it was. But somehow in those 5 minutes the pizza managed to burn. I only opened it at home, so I didn’t return it. It tastes just as bad as it looks.

This pizzaria single handedly destroyed my trust in the top 50 rating system. We got the California, the nardo, the pistachio, and the La pecante. The immediate first impressions were: "wow I hope this gets better". I felt violated on my first bite. The bottom is more flaccid than a retirement home. Every bite felt like a soggy napkin. Getting to the crust felt like a relief. In terms of the flavor it was either overwhelming or underwhelming, pistachio could use more pistachio flavor whereas the La Picante was way too salty (please take a look at the photo where my friend winces after reaching a meatball). I only went here because I couldn't get a reservation to Pizza Sei.

Such a bummer. Wanted to like it! Food - all dishes were inedibly salty. Didn’t finish our dishes. Service - started out ok. Then our food came and we never saw our server again until he brought our check. Our empty margarita glasses sat empty from appetizers through dinner, never offered another cocktail. Also, such a turnoff to see a busser scraping food scraps onto one plate when he cleared a table. Atmosphere - of twelve hanging chandeliers, four bulbs were dead or unlit, and they could really use the additional lighting! One person in our party had to use the flashlight feature on his iPhone to read the menu. Also, the electronic dance music was out of place and inappropriate.
