It really made the store feel homely for a first visit here. I'll be sure to make more reviews as I visit this place in the future. Would give this place 10 stars if I could. Mike took the best care of us while we were in there. Everything that hit the table was amazing; the meal was perfect, and if you have not tried it yet, I highly recommend doing so.
I got me the brisket with the baked beans and mac and cheese. Quality at its finest! Everything I had was amazing! Mike greeted me with such down-to-earth hospitality. Then he offered me samples to try. He really took care of me. I will definitely be back. All love my brother!🙏🏽🤟🏽🤙🏽😁
I had to stop mid meal to take pictures of my food, that’s how good it was. When I came in today for the first time, the woman who helped me was so incredibly nice. I ordered to go and it was probably ready within 10 minutes, the woman kindly told me how my stuff was stacked up and what was in the bag. It smelt so good in my car that I took a bite of the sandwich before the drive homeand oh my god, it’s delicious. There was no sauce on it and I appreciated that because that way I knew it wouldn’t get soggy on the drive, but there was a nice side of sauce in the bag. I also got a plate of chicken with potato salad and corn bread and I loved how everything was so carefully individually wrapped/packaged so it stayed fresh. This place was amazing, I’ll be back 100%, especially because when I was there I saw they have daily lunch specials and a little bar with some beers on tap. 10/10 BBQ

Happened across this place yesterday with a great friend of mine looking for some good American BBQ.... and let me tell you, I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED! I have had A LOT of BBQ in my life as I lived in the Carolinas for several years of my life, but this place... this place is FANTASTIC. From the moment you step into the intimate sports-bar atmosphere (Seats about 30 people) Michael greeted us both in a very friendly manner and was eager to help us figure out what we would like. Great selection of beers on tap (I went with the Stone Delicious IPA) and had their Brisket Sandwich with Potato Salad, and Michael gave us a fleet of different sauces to have with our meal... each one as amazing as the next! Every single bite was absolute heaven! We also had their Banana Pudding for dessert, one of my favorite desserts and this was THE BEST! My only regrets are not taking a picture of my sandwich and not having a bigger stomach... MUST TRY! Thanks again to Michael for the great experience and hospitality, and will definitely be coming to see you all again!
If I could give this place 10 stars, I totally would. I’ve driven by so many times and always noticed the amazing smell, so I finally decided to stop in on Labor Day when my usual spots were closed. I’m so glad I did! This place is now at the top of my list. The service was seriously next-level. Our server, Mike, went out of his way to make everything perfect, and everyone else we talked to was super friendly, welcoming and personal. They were great honestly so cool to talk and hang with. And the food—wow. It was absolutely delicious, with tons of great beers on tap too. Honestly, I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for somewhere with amazing service, mouthwatering food, and a great vibe, this is it. 20/10, I’ll definitely be back!

Omg!! The best Brisket I've ever had! The Brisket practically melts in your mouth, so tasty and nicely seasoned. I also had the collard greens and corn, both were great tasting with a bit of heat, which I loved. My wife had the Tritip and really enjoyed that too. Great location, plenty of parking. Lastly, cozy eating areas. Draft beer also available. The Brisket eggroll was outstanding. I can't wait to go back, or even, take home. We even got some Brisket to go for lunch tomorrow... and we finished it 2 hours later! Haha... just great food!!
The gentleman who helped me was very kind, even gave me a sample of some of the meats to try before I ordered. Ended up going with the tri-tip and brisket both were delicious. The atmosphere was quaint, very nice lighting and big screen TVs. Cool looking bar with quite a few beers on tap. It was Monday night so I got a big beer for only $4 to go with my meal. It's their Monday night special if you buy dinner. Will definitely be back. Thank you for great barbecue.
The brisket is the best I’ve had in years. It was moist and perfectly seasoned no sauce needed. The BBQ sauces were good. My mom liked the potato salad and brisket. The corn was similar to my great-grandmother’s. Oh and shout out to Paul he provided excellent service and good recommendations.

Holy smokes! This place is awesome! I decided to finally check this place out for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. We love bbq and almost never get it because it’s typically pricey. This place felt really reasonable, especially when we saw how much food we got. And when we tasted it… man, that’s good stuff. Brisket and tri tip are phenomenal, sausages were excellent. The sides were pretty good. Cobbler was outstanding. Can’t believe it’s taken us this long to try it, we live just up the street. We will be back!
We found our new local BBQ spot! We came across this restaurant on Yelp, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The person in charge, whose name I unfortunately forgot, was fantastic! (I apologize, sir.) He provided us with a brief overview of the best cuts of the day; that level of service truly makes a difference. He detailed the cooking process and even offered us small samples of each meat, allowing us to select the best option for ourselves. He also shared his recommendations, which were spot on. The food was exceptional! The brisket was perfectly smoked, juicy, and had an amazing bark. The pulled pork was tender and packed with flavor. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the entire restaurant. You must try this place!

Today, they truly went above and beyond to ensure everything came together seamlessly. The food is outstanding—always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—and the service is impeccable. One of the best affordable BBQ places in OC and on our family's list of regular dinner choices. We've been going here for years but I was compelled to write a review today because of the extraordinary service I just received. I usually call in an order for pick it up but I needed to finish up some work before dinner and my family wanted BBQ. I didn't have time to drive over there but noticed they now offer delivery so I downloaded their app. I was having trouble adding an item to my cart so I called to ask for help. After trying to walk me through it without success, Cole just offered to personally drop off the order for me. I was totally thinking I was going to let my family down and have to figure out something else. I was shocked that he even offered because I know they are a small shop and can get busy. I assumed they partnered with door dash or Uber eats for their delivery. The cherry on top was that the food got here faster than if I had used door dash Anyhow, it is rare to experience this kind of hospitality these days and thought they deserved the kudos. Thank you for going above and beyond. Our favorites on the menu are the pulled pork, brisket, sausage and chicken.

We ordered take-out for a coworker's farewell party and every single person was blown away at how good this food is. Everything is delicious, the order was accurate, the staff was super friendly, and this is probably going to be our new go-to for company lunches. YUM! Thanks SMB&C!
Amazing. The brisket was incredibly tender and tasty. Had the potato salad and beans as side dishes, which were equally excellent. My friends from Japan ordered the brisket too, but had the nuclear corn and collard greens as sides which they raved about. One of them is a student at Cal State Long Beach for a year. He loved it so much, I'm taking him and his friends here next Sunday.

This was the backup plan for my hubby’s birthday dinner. Small place and there were 6 of us needing a table inside since it was cold! We were able to push 3 tables together and it worked fine. Good selection of beers, both bottles and on tap. Highly recommend the brisket sandwich. The coke slaw was not your typical coke slaw. It was light and delicious, not drowning in mayonnaise! I’m hoping it was healthy! The corn was delicious as was the bacon Mac & cheese. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Underwhelming at best. We got the 3 item combo and it was barely enough for 1 person. The meats were re-heated in foil and placed on the tray still in the foil. I could tell because it was stuck to the foil. The meats also just kinda looked grey and sad. It was as if they were sous vide and reheated. The sausage just tasted like it was from Costco. The bbq sauce tasted like bullseye brand and the vinegar bbq sauce tasted WAY too strongly of vinegar. The collard greens just taste like they were in bath water and weren’t very seasoned. The cornbread was sweet, which was fine, but it was pretty dry like it has been sitting out for while. Honestly, I didn’t know BBQ could be THAT lackluster. Don’t waste your money. It’s gonna be a no from me dawg. Just wanted to update after the owners response: we specifically asked about the portion size for the 3 meat plate and the cashier said it was enough for 2 people. Due to the snark I dropped my review from 2 stars to 1 star. Do with that information what you will, but we wouldn’t have returned to this restaurant regardless.
The product is nothing like the picture shows on the website! Also no taste to meat rubbery could not chew it very well! Very Disappointing!!/ even after posting this they still have the same picture above on the website! I don't understand what happened to being an Honest Business?? It just hurts me that no one cares anymore 😪

DONT GO HERE! This bbq spot is absolutely the worst place you can go to. The Tri tip was almost all fat (see photos), the portions were so small I couldn’t believe it. We paid $25-30/meal for 3 people, and I’ve never been so sad to lose my money. I got extra sides that weren’t even added. The food was so bad I didn’t even go back and complain and get my food I paid for! My food took FOREVER to be made, and for it to be absolutely horrible makes it worse. You took my time and my money. NEVER EVER going back to this spot. I recommend Sweet Lou’s BBQ 5 minutes away from this spot. The difference will kill you!

The barbecue is pretty insignificant in flavor. We purchased a three meat combo, we ordered the sausage pulled pork and brisket. The brisket was a little on the tough side for my liking. The pulled pork was dry and bare absolutely no seasoning. The sausage was decent with some spice to it. There was no barbecued to be found on anything near anything on the side of anything. To be fair I did not read the menu description thoroughly to see if we need to purchase barbecue on the side. The servings were that of a kids meal. It was literally about two spoonfuls of meat and wrapped in foil. I paid $60 for this meal including two additional sides. The sides were about $10 each and the containers were absolutely tiny. I can compare it to a KFC side of gravy portion. The greens were actually okay and not tough, though it was mostly water and no actual greens. The beans literally tasted like a can of van a camp pork and beans. The potato salad was potatoes and mayonnaise I can't say I tasted anything other than that. Again the experience was not negative whatsoever but the food is overpriced with no flavor.
1st time trying this place and by far the worst BBQ place I ever been to. The corn was disgusting and the tri tip no flavored at all too much fat. It was 5 slices of tri tip and the beans were not baked beans they were refried baked beans no juice and no flavor and over cooked. The cashier didn't even say you guys need help or recommend what should we get. You see customers come in and see them looking at the menu and don't bother asking to see if we need help ordering. For the $28 we paid for the plate it was a joke and worst BBQ I had. This is for not going to Dickies BBQ, we always go to Dickies but decided to give another place a shot. I guess we will stick to Dickies from now on.
