Food: I I ordered the beef dip with onion rings, and a chocolate shake. The beef dip was a large portion and the meat was quite juicy and tender. Though, the onion rings could have had a little bit more flavor but I ate them with a smile. There's two sizes of shakes, a large and small. The small is a perfect size, served in a classic manner, in metal mix container. Service: The staff was polite, friendly, and accurate with my order. Checked up on me a couple of times to see if everything was perfect. Final thought: This restaurant is right by the beach, a 2 minute walk. A classic diner with plenty of American choices. Not my first time and it won't be my last.

This is the first time going but it won’t be my last. The food is outstanding. I had the Eggs Benedict which up until last night I had never tried. The first bite was delicious rich egg yolk came spilling out. The service was excellent

Fun environment with lots of Hollywood history on the walls, old movie posters and plenty of Marilyn images. Food amazing, my recommendation is the pancakes and a side order of biscuits and gravy. NY Steak and eggs plate is a bargain when listed as a special. Friendly, fast service too.

This spot quickly became our breakfast go to for our trip. The food was fresh and fast and there were plenty of options to choose from. The Bloody Mary was delightful!

Stumbled upon a great watering hole, on the corner, at the beach with a genuine local feel to it. Sit at the bar or go in the back and play pool. Straight from the time it was thought of and created, its originality is all still here except the fish.

This is a local Hotspot. Come in play a game of pool, and enjoy your favorite drink. The bartenders are super friendly. Note; the main bar is small, and most likely occupied by the locals. But there is seating on the paio, and near the pool tables. Nonetheless, you will enjoy this bar.

Turcs doesn't serve food only drinks. You can bring in outside food if you want. They have limited TVs, 2 pool tables, and a run down old school tiki vibe. Love this place it's a true American treasure of a dive bar.

This place will not last. I mean this in the most pessimistic way. It is a great dive bar, incredible location by the beach. The kind of dive bar you hope will be everywhere you ever go that is nice. And it will be forced out of existence. The lease will run out. And even if a landlord is sympathetic, money will win. Then we'll have another Starbucks or Jamba juice or whatever God forsaken chain place. Enjoy Turc's while you can. It is amazing, and something that you won't be able to experience 10 years from now.

Harbor House is a standard stop for locals. It’s a diner vibe with good breakfast and lunch items. Typical weak diner coffee, service is slow/fast depending on the visit. Your satisfaction will depend on your expectations. If you are looking for a new take on food - go elsewhere. If you like a non-chain diner, you’ll love it. We got the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito with hash browns. We liked them! If you’re at Sunset Beach and they don’t have a wait- give ‘em a try.

Typical, cute, highway 1 diner. Very similar to the one next door. The shakes are great but they are expensive at $8. Next door at Woody's they are $7.50. both expensive. I got the chili size on my first visit. The chili was really good. The burger was overcooked. The fries were good. My strawberry shake was great. My friend's Pineapple shake was incredible. This place is the place, if your a salty old local who has nothing better to do than drown their sorrows away in alcohol. This leaky sailboat of a place is good to grab a quick drink if you can get to the bar without being stopped by some old guy who's trying to tell you a story about when he was your age. They have three pool tables in the back, and a mellow little patio. On Wed night pool if free till seven, but good luck playing. You'll have to fight some old fisherman or rich drunk dude to get a table.

Had been going to Harbor House for years… used to be the old favorite reliable open all night restaurant serving great food even at 0400. And you'll see what it used to be on their website, still advertising open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year… if you drive by the one in Sunset Beach, the sign still says open 24 hours. But they're not. It's a flat out lie from a place that used to be open 24 hours, and now doesn't have the competence, basic decency, or respect for their customers to have their website updated to reflect current open hours… even though it's apparently been years… Come by after midnight, or stop by after 2200 weeknights, and you'll see the big sign overhead still advertising 24 hours above an empty restaurant with a locked door and a small sign in the window saying "closed". It's difficult to express just how disappointing and annoying this situation is, driving home from Long Beach to south OC after very late nights - still remembering the times when I could stop and get a good meal or at least nice snack at Harbor House… and now what I always see is a blatant lie on their main sign, I can go to their website and see the same blatant unacceptable lie, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but there it is - CLOSED - as I drive on by. If you happen to catch them while they're open I supposed the food's still decent and the atmosphere's okay… it's a shame the service is totally non-existent and they won't even let you in, let alone take your order or bring your food, even though they claim to be always open for you. Entirely unacceptable. I won't be giving Harbor House my business again - at least not until they have the basic courtesy to update their website and sign to accurately reflect their current open hours. Probably won't give them my biz even then because there are lots of businesses that do it just as well or better than Harbor House across the same hours that Harbor House is open now… the thing that used to make Harbor House unique is that they did good food and a good price when none of those restaurants who might do it better were open. Oh well… it's just over.

Because of this, I went back to investigate but was promptly denied service. Visitors, stay clear of this bar, the bartender Jamie is dangerous and has multiple police reports against him.

The extremely rude bartender scared away the new customers we enthusiastically planned to become. We were exploring the town and after the dinner in Italian restaurant we grabbed the rest of our Merlot we couldn't finish and headed home. On our way we were charmed by this little gem - Turcs Cocktails. As we loved how the vibe seemed and we are always eager to support such classic bars we decided to come in to grab a soda or a beer to enjoy the place - the only problem was the bottle of wine we had - we stopped in front of entrance for literally like 5 seconds wondering if we should throw it away or just enter and inform a bartender while obviously not planning on drinking it inside but ordering at the bar when suddenly.... the angry bartender came out of nowhere almost breaking down the door (we were surprised how fast he even managed to move) yelling at us for allegedly consuming alcohol in front of his bar when we never opened or intended to open it. Such a rude thing. Of course he made us turn back immediately and whole place lost all the vibe in a second. Don't remember that we were ever treated in such a rude manner ever before.
