An amazing culinary experience! The restaurant is beautiful with an open kitchen and multiple floors. Our server, Peter was incredibly informative regarding the menu and made great recommendations. The menu is seasonal and while not extensive, this clearly allowed the chef to create a variety of very special dishes. Our group of six really enjoyed it!

Superb food and service. Sleek and chic the first thing to wow you will be the incredible decor. The bar is hip and inviting. Our waitress had a phenomenal personality. She explained everything on the menu, made great suggestions and was very attentive throughout the evening. Fresh and delicious the appetizing meals were created to perfection, all the way to dessert. Jema is now my favorite restaurant and it may be yours too. Check it out.

Excellent food. Above average. Service was superb. Waiters were delightful. Appetizers and desserts were creative and delicious. The only concern I had was/ is the very high fee per person for having to cancel the reservation within 24 hours before. I understand the need, but not the amount. Otherwise, the experience for four people was outstanding.

My husband and I are definite foodies.... We love to experience new restaurants and when we find one that satisfies.... You can't keep us away. Jema truly hits the mark! Recently renovated and under the management of a new (Parisian) chef named Franco... he is delightful .....and his counterpart Solenne...so gracious and hospitable... are two fresh faces to the area with incredible vision and energy. Such a delight to meet these wonderful souls. When we arrived to the restaurant we noticed how very well put together the outside of the restaurant is...very clean and the branded canopies are beautiful. Very nice touches. As we entered the foyer we were impacted by how beautifully all of the different finishes and wood tones come together. It is so clean and spa-like... The high ceilings make this space seem cavernous and very open - really like this aspect. The way the bar was transformed from its previous state is impressive. The see-through bottle racks at the top of the bar really provide an open air feeling and we love the white brick treatment. A feature that we loved in the dining room was the mirrored wall. So effective in opening up the room. Just gorgeous. The tables are appropriately spaced and we did not feel like we were sitting on top of the tables next to us. The choice of dining tables are beautiful and the chairs were also very comfortable. The open kitchen concept is also something to be enjoyed. Being able to see the food being prepared, completed and sent to be delivered is not something that we have seen in the area. The music playing was low enough for us to enjoy our conversation. The temperature of the restaurant was also perfect. Food The quinoa risotto dish was absolutely fantastic... Especially the Parmesan Chip! The portions were very appropriate and not too small. The other appetizer that was served was the tomatoes with raw fish. We are not big raw fish fans but we decided to try it for the first time in our lives and it was good. The presentation was spectacular. My husband had the (organic) chicken entrée and it was cooked perfectly. The outside skin was crispy and pleasing to the eye - the inside was moist and tasty. Bob commented that it was probably the best chicken he had ever had.... now that is saying something!! I had the monkfish and it was so very good. It was cooked perfectly. It's a moist fish, so when I cut it, it let out water and made the mushroom sauce a bit watery. But was really good nonetheless. Dessert We loved the chocolate dessert as it was savory and sweet. The lime dessert was good and we loved the mint vodka sorbet. YUM! Service Everyone on the service team was excellent. They were all dressed appropriately and had constant smiles on their face. Really felt like they wanted to be there. At no time did we feel neglected, but also did not feel like we were bothered. When we first were greeted at the table the staff they offered their names automatically. Hugo, Bernardo, and Timothy are all excellent at what they do. In closing, we left feeling completely satiated and cared for! Super great experience and we highly recommend JEMA!

Finally, a fine dining restaurant in Huntington that will save me a trip to Manhattan. Everything about Jema is top notch - from the Michelin trained chef, to the courteous, knowledgeable staff, excellent service, and fresh, locally sourced globally inspired cuisine. The foie gras torchon starter is simply divine, and the quinoa risotto is an instant classic. Great cocktails and nice bar area, beautiful decor. A true "gem."

The dinner was absolutely amazing! Everything from the atmosphere, to the prices and the portions size. I am a big foie gras person and I must say it is now one of my favorites in the city. Definitely coming back!!

Open area with high ceilings. Attentive staff. Dishes were well presented and well prepared. Modern take on innovative culinary dishes. Cocktail menu was rather limited. Ten Tier Grade: Pending

Group of us went for special Christmas dinner. Portions were very small, prices very high. Food was not anything special, and they don't even have a salad on their menu. They claim it's seasonal products, but I'm pretty sure there are greens still sprouting somewhere on Long Island. I can definitely had better food at the local family style restaurants. This is the kind of restaurant you will go once and never go again. The only shining star in this, was our waitress. I'm hoping Google will put my review out because Yelp did not. I know Yelp gets paid to monitor reviews for business owners and that is why there are no 1 stars on Yelp for Jema. If you must try this restaurant, you can't say you weren't forewarned.

Went in for my daughters birthday and her father ordered a steak. The steak was completely inedible and could barely cut it. He sent it back and the management asked if he wanted anything else, but my husband decided that he did not want anything else. At the end they decided to charge us for the unedible steak which was completely obscure. This has never happened to me in any other restaurant that they charge you for the food that you sent back and didn't eat. All of the management was extremely rude and the rest of the food was nothing special, very salty, and overpriced.
