Shah’s never disappoints. Great food, generous portions and a super clean spot. At around 10 bucks you really can’t find real food like this anymore. Big shoutout to Rafiqi, super welcoming and genuinely nice. Easy go-to.
My boyfriend Colin and I always come to this spot for our late-night munchies, and Rafiqi truly makes the experience every time. He is always so sweet, welcoming, and greets us with the biggest smile whenever we order. Such a genuinely happy, lovely person. Please show this man extra love and tip him well when you come here. He deserves it! Also, pro tip: I always request one green stripe on my chicken over rice 😄

Great place. Excellent food and value. The owner of this location is particularly nice, will customize your order to your liking. I've enjoyed lamb over rice, chicken over rice, cheeseburger, french fries, salad, etc. All good. I've had take out and dine in.
Where else you going to get great food for $10? Not junk, reals food and great portions. The owner, Rafiqi, is the nicest man I’d love to see good people flourish in this town.

Went in probably 10 minutes before closing at 2am and the man working was very hospitable and helpful. The food came out quick and was delicious, too. Got the chicken platter and a chicken sandwich and both were fantastic. Definitely recommend.
I really like how you guys make your falafel. I enjoy how it’s disk shaped and not rotund. This really tickles my fancy. I feel like it cooks better, and doesn’t remind me of meatballs. I’m not against Italian cuisine, but sometimes you get tired of eating ball shaped foods. Balls are great, but it gets to a point. The produce used in my platter was delicious, especially the tomato. Very fresh, very yummy. Thank you!

I ordered the chicken over rice from Shah’s Halal in Huntington Village, and the food was great—fresh, flavorful, and a good portion for the price. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the white sauce pulled everything together. Unfortunately, the experience was knocked down a notch because the soda they sold me was expired (dated January 6, 2025) and completely flat. I took one sip and ended up tossing it—definitely not what you'd expect when you're paying for a drink. It's frustrating and makes me question how carefully they check their stock. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean, but they really needed to keep a better eye on expiration dates. I’d still come back for the food, but I’ll skip the drinks next time.
My favorite Halal place is a shahs halal in Connecticut. So when I passed here I decided to try it out but it was a huge disappointment. This food did not taste good at all. The rice tasted very weird too. I don’t recommend.
