The portions are large and the prices are great. They had Coke Zero - my fave dining fountain drink. My over easy egg was perfect. No hunting for condiments like at the dang Waffle House. The music was great. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere. We will be back!

Great food. Great service. Walked right in and sat ourselves at a table, server brought menus, took drink order and promptly returned with the drinks. Since this was our first visit we were not immediately ready to order and asked for some time to look over the menu. Our longest wait was to get our order taken but not longer than 10 minutes after we had made up our minds. Food for 4 was out within 5 minutes of placing our order. Everything was cooked to our requests and perfectly I might add. If you are in Huntsville this is a great place for breakfast. They also serve brunch as well as lunch. Great little place. One word of caution, parking is limited but DO NOT park in front of the donut shop they will have your car towed. Paid parking is available across the street at the SHSU visitors center or down 19th Street against the curb.

After spending 8 days hiking the Lone Star Hiking Trail, we stopped here for a hot breakfast before heading into Huntsville State Park. Definitely was a great choice as they have plenty of options to choose from. The prices are quite reasonable for their portion sizes. The Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast was not only huge but also delicious. I also added a waffle from the alacart menu. If you're looking for a local place to eat this is a definite must stop.

We were looking for somewhere for breakfast that wasn’t your typical place. This place popped up first so I called and asked if they had patio seating and if they allow pets. The person I spoke with said yes. Only downside is when we arrived the guy told us the patio seating for animals was the other side (away from what looked to be the patio. We went to check it out and it was one table directly in the sun, not covered and I felt like we would’ve got forgotten about so unfortunately we had to leave the dog in the car with the ac running full blast. Aside from that though the food was amazing. Huge portions at a decent price. I ordered the skillet and it didn’t look like a lot of food at first but once I dug in there was so much food I couldn’t finish it. Great place!

I ordered an omelet when I received the omlet it was room temperature w the onions was raw I specifically asked for the onions to be cooked well done Even after I mentioned the issue no resolution was offered, just had to remove them.

This was our first time ever coming here and we won't be back. Walked in and had to ask if we should seat ourselves as the servers were unable to speak even with giving us direct eye contact. Found a seat on the patio and because it was just the 2 of us opted for one of the smaller tables. The whole patio was dusty as though no one had dusted in a month of Sundays. Server was polite, but inattentive. We ordered 2 cokes 2 orders of bacon and an order of grilled potatoes. The plates were covered in grease and I had to wipe it down just to get to the food. The bacon tasted as if it had been cooked on an old dirty surface. And let's be honest the grilled potatoes were simply French fries the cook through on the grill and tossed around for a while without so much as a glance at salt and pepper. Needless to say we probably won't be back.

Great, affordable prices. Unfortunately, the quality of our meals wasn’t as great. The eggs Benedict were undercooked, the waffles were dry (we had better luck with the complimentary ones at the hotel). The vibes of the place were nice, lots of interesting decorations to see.

Ordered a chicken fried steak plate. We thought the breading smelled fishy/bad. Tried giving it the benefit of the doubt though it turned out it was rancid. Both the waitress and cook did minimal in terms of fixing the issue, still got charged for it. Now having to call in for work because of the food poisoning

My girlfriend and I came here for breakfast and left pretty disappointed. Right from the start, the service was slow — we waited a long time just to place our order, even though the diner wasn’t busy. The overall condition of the place didn’t help either. The tables and chairs were clearly old and worn down, and it felt like they were long overdue for replacement. It gave the diner an uncared-for vibe. As for the food, it was unfortunately lacking. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken had very little flavor, and the waffles were tough and difficult to cut, which made the dish unenjoyable. My girlfriend ordered a sampler, and her food had several issues. The eggs looked like they had been sitting out for a while and honestly didn’t even look real. The pancakes were dry, and the hash browns were overly salty. We really wanted to enjoy this place, but between the slow service, worn-out seating, and underwhelming food, it just didn’t live up to expectations. Hopefully things improve, but we won’t be returning.

always like going to small cafes verses a franchise restaurant but this place 😞the food was cold and mediocre ! the waffles was so tuff you couldn’t even cut it ! then they had a TV on that had gross things on it. I don’t need to explain. The only good thing is our waitress was nice. Won’t be back.! I don’t care

This place has went downhill. My food was disgusting and tasted spoiled/old. We sat at the bar, and there were tiny cockroaches crawling all over. I started gagging and me and my boyfriend just left our food there and paid. I used to love this place for breakfast but when you come in, it smells like mildew and mold. I wish I had taken pictures but I was just so appalled and disgusted. The people there were very nice like usual but it really needs to be cleaned up.

First time here for me boyfriend and his children have been here numerous times except the last couple of years. Hostess tried her best to help with drinks that was very sweet of her. Sever was scrambled bc it started to get slammed. Placed our order and didn’t receive one of the combos. It was never made after we were told it was still being made when we asked about it. We said never mind. The red solo cups feel like kind of trashy. One of the kids ordered a skillet and the mushrooms were bad. Tasted rotten and slimed to make it worse it was for a child! The cream cheese frosting was very clumpy and gritty and tasted like it absorbed the flavors of the fridge. The gravy was very gelatinous and on top of that the table next to us had a child and I saw the high chair and it was filthy. Like it’s never been washed or wiped down. No idea how that passed health inspection

The place had a cute, cozy vibe, and was nice to look at. It was affordable, but the experience wasn’t great. Our server wasn’t very attentive, and the food quality was disappointing. I was surprised to have been served this, although it was one of three pancakes. This was the bottom one. I’m glad we tried it as we were in the area, but wouldn’t go again.
