This is our usual spot following high school games at Onteora, Ellenville and other location west of the Kingston bridge. Good food, beer and pool.

HMI IS THE BEST!! As a local to the Hurley-Kingston area, the Hurley Mountain Inn is our go-to spot for Friday Night pizza for our family of four kids, Sunday NFL and Premier Football wings and burgers, and so many other occasions when friends visit. Even better is the friendly staff and management, and strong business ownership who CARE ABOUT US AND THE COMMUNITY!!

Even with a decent wait the corned beef and cabbage was excellent. Server Dennis was such a good, caring server. 10/10 would come back again because the service was so great!

Great food and staff. The menu is very expansive, yet not lacking at all in quality or taste. Lived less than 5 miles away since 2007 and wondering why it took so long to stop in. As for covid, tables looked to be wiped down after every patron and social distancing was very much followed. Looking forward to our next visit

I've been back there multiple times now. The food is consistently good, the service is professional and impeccable, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The seating for the restaurant is around the bar so it can get loud, but I think that's part of the fun. It's a great place for dinner!

We have dinner here every Friday night, almost without exception. The staff is great, the atmosphere is so comfortable, and the food is always delicious. Each week we look forward to Val's amazing Specials like Sloppy Joe Bombs, Moroccan Veggie Stuffed Peppers or Jambalaya Stuffed Peppers, Shrimp Alfredo Stuff Shells, Beet and Goat Cheese Gnocchi, and the list goes on and on. Regular menu items that we love are the Chicken Marsala, Shrimp Florentine Melt, Chicken Tournado, Old Fashioned Meat Loaf, and of course their famous Mountain Burgers. For the ultimate in comfort food try a Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla. Always yummy and for quality and portions the value just can't be beat.

Dinner was awesome. So many specials to choose from! Sheperds Pie, Homemade Pierogies, Homemade Black Bean Burger, Shrimp over Spinach with Mozzarella. Craft beers on tap and some great Cabernet. Very attentive servers. Thanks Val, and Steve! We'll keep coming back!!!

Had a family dinner function on Friday 04/20/18 at 1800hrs. We had 13 attendees . We arrived at 1730hrs and the place was busy. The bar was full w/ several people standing but I think that was their choice. The table/ restaurant area was at about 80% capacity. Good thing I made a reservation👍. Our server Dennis was prompt and courteous. He began with any drink requests(beer🍻/wine🍷and soft drinks). This naturally took a few minutes due to the crowd conditions. Understandable👌. Once that was complete, Dennis began w/appetizers, of which at least a half dozen were ordered. Many varieties were offered on the menu. They were a hit because they disappeared quickly. Finally the main Entree orders. 🤤wow, Dennis and his team were jumping that evening. Everything from the kitchen came hot and well prepared and I honestly heard no one complain about anything considering the size of the order. And some of the family members are a tad picky😉. There was no lack of choices for dinner, covering the spectrum of items. I'm not going into details, so use your imagination🤔👌. Great job everyone. We love the Hurley Mountain Inn and their staff especially one of the servers Alyssa!….Last night not knowing how busy they were and that reservations were suggested we went with our brother, sister in law and nephew, we asked for of course our favorite server Alyssa and the owner made it possible by moving 2 tables together to accommodate the 6 of us even though we didn’t have reservations. Can’t thank him enough, the food was outstanding as always as was the service!, If you are looking for great service and excellent food, I highly recommend them!!

This is a go-to place that is consistently reliable. The kitchen staff really has it together ... the food always comes out perfectly done and there is never a wait, even when the place is packed. The burger is one of the best around, the fries are the kind of fries that are worth eating (hot, crispy, always), lots of great beers on tap. Just a fun place, attentive service, with food as it should be.

Had another great family dinner tonight at the Hurley Mountain Inn! It’s been our family favorite for many years now. Always a good home cooked meal, always great service from folks who make you feel like family. The kids love the games and we joined them for a game of pool. If you are a local to Olive (like us), Hurley, Marbletown, Kingston or the surrounding area and haven’t been (in a bit or ever) or a visitor to the area, take a ride over for a great drink menu and always yummy specials. Thank you Steve and the whole crew for being a place we can count on for a good family night out!

A pretty expansive menu of bar food and some classics. Every was good but nothing particularly exceptional. Video games for the kids and a lot of seating inside.

Bar food is good but a bit overpriced. The menu is confusing creating extra charges for items that usually accompany the dish. The service staff is friendly, helpful, and very competent.

Great place to go for burgers and beer. Down-home kinda' place. They set up "Club Hurley" some evenings, though I haven't been for that. This place is a real institution and was filmed in the movie Tootsie.

Large restaurant and bar. They even have arcade games, and a pool table. The prices for food are good and very well done, but they're alcohol beverages are a bit expensive. Overall, it's a very nice place for gatherings and dining out.

Local eatery. Not high end or fancy if that's what you are looking for. Over an hour away so we rarely go but make the treck every year for St. Patrick's Day. Super popular...as in packed! Special menu and generous portions. Quick service and reasonable prices. Live music on special occasions.

We spent the day hiking and by the time we were done and driving home this seemed like the place to stop for food and drinks. It seemed like the only actual sports bar in the area, or at least the biggest one. It is a family place so keep that in mind! There is a game room for the kids along with a couple pool tables. Huge bar, wraps all the way around to the backside of the dining area by the arcade. Not a big on draft beer selection, but not bad prices. Food was good, and we'll priced as well!

The people are always fantastic. Our service on St Patrick's Day 2019 was okay- we seemed to get forgotten a few times, and when one person at the table ordered an appetizer, the waitress told him point blank if he ordered it, the rest of our food would come out much later. Kind of funny looking back, but in the moment I was shocked. St. Patrick's day options have been subpar in recent years- lots of us would love to see the return of the fried pickles! I got an Irish pie and my corned beef was very VERY fatty.

Have been coming here for the past 20 + years! The neighborhood meeting place where you will find good people and good times. Food is never a disappointment and the friendly staff will always make you feel welcomed. Only a four star rating because no one is perfect...but keep in mind they do try and often are!

Some of the best bar food I've ever had. Superb patty melt, a rare burger that was honestly RARE, huge and fresh salad. Beer selection was mundane, if fresh. Service was efficient. Atmosphere...stained ceiling tiles, sports bar decor, relentless Bud Light advertising...not my thing. But that burger... would bring me back.

been going her for over a decade and every since theyve shifted owners it seems to have just gone downhill. its understandable that the food has changed but its the quality that has changed to most. dont come here with high expectations, but the service is great, and is good for a quick family dinner. burger was almost raw though, when ordered medium rare. good salads though

I have mixed feelings about this place. I've had issues in the past but recently it's been consistently good. Whenever I order a burger, it comes out exactly how I ordered it. They have a large selection of beer but nothing I really care about to be honest. The servers are kind of like diner servers but they are very friendly for the most part. Most people in the area love this place. If you're into sports this is a great place to eat,drink, and watch the games. A nice family environment.

I went there St. Patty's Day weekend with my boyfriend. Supposedly they make the most corned beef and cabbage on the Eastern seaboard for the holiday. They should focus more on taste! It had zero! 2 stars for the really good Irish soda bread and the nice waitress.

Service was good and accommodating for our large party but the food is not as good as it used to be. Their burger was overcooked and didn't come with any lettuce or tomatoes. My fathers pasta was overcooked and their "veggie burgers" are not veggie burgers at all, its just random vegetables in a wrap.

There was a time that this was the place to go. I used to be there every Sunday to eat good food for a good price and watch football. When I 1st started going you could get wings, a bar pizza, and have a few beers for around $30 with tip. I noticed the bill was slowly climbing and the last time I went there I had a bill that was over $60 for the same few things.

Wanted to get some food with a surprise coupon my family acquired (tax relief program) and they wouldn’t apply it to a to go order after the kitchen had just closed. The guy at the bar offered to make a to go order until I showed the coupon….. I live over 45 minutes from here and wanted to get food after work.

Always looked forward to stopping there for lunch when out on our motorcycles. Their new hours doesn't provide us that opportunity unless it is a Sunday. We assume it is due to that fact no one wants to work and they can't get anyone.

My family has eaten numerous times here without complaint ; however our last experience was one that has to be told... my nephew found a hair in his food halfway through eating... i informed our waitress who was beyond the best what happened... when check arrived she said owner will make an adjustment well he did take half off I encouraged her to ask for all off... unfortunately the response was no he had eaten half of it.. so moral of story make sure you find the hair at beginning of your meal. . We did take notice of kitchen staff with no hair nets on.... besides that potatoes smothered in chicken francaise sauce and well done burger rare in middle... I will not return to this establishment ever again... their lack of hygiene is a concern and their lack of professionalism on the owners part... lessons to be learned in business management ... as far as our waitress she was outstanding...

We went there on 3/15/22 for corned beef and cabbage. It was horrible the corned beef was dry, the cabbage smelled like fish, the colcannon looked like vomit and undercooked carrots on a paper plate. $200 later went home hungry and disappointed. Never Again.

Waited 75 minutes from ordering for food that was overcooked. Medium rare steak was well done. Don't bother with food here.

I don't know where these reviews come from but whoever went to eat there you guys don't know anything about food whatsoever all the vegetable were frozen, Gorgonzola sauce was like glue, clams are terrible. No clams, stuffed with bread to max, split pea soup from a can disguised with sliced ham. Extra nice staff & owner.

Very disappointed with this establishment on our recent visit. I was with a tour group that made reservations in advance for our evening dinner meal. Our evening dinner meal was a cold deli luncheon of rolled ham lunch meat, white square cheese (American perhaps), tomato, onion, pickle, cold pastas, meatballs and a dinner roll. The drinks were 2 choices per a table of 8, served in a pitcher. Our cost..$29 each. There were over 35 of us. Deli sandwiches are NOT on their menu. Our tour guides had no idea this was to be our meal. They, as well as the rest of us, thought we would be served an evening dinner meal. It was a big let down in an otherwise wonderful trip. I would not recommend for a tour group to come here as the whole group. Not worth the price. A dinner roll doesn't make a decent sandwich and 8 people usually don't drink the same drinks. It would be best to order individually.
