If you like Panda Express. This is a good store. New store in Hutto. Good staff. Been there 3 or 4 times. I like the lay out and design of this store. The food and service has been consistently good in my experience.
Probably one of the best Panda Express’ I’ve eaten from. The portions are always generous & food always tastes great. The customer service doesn’t exactly stand out but eh...the delicious food makes up for it!
New favorite place to get Oriental cuisine at a reasonable price. I've had gastric sleeve surgery so can't eat much, and this place gives you choices for amounts of food you can handle in entrees and sides that will work for any palate!
Great service, very quick and courteous, they answered any questions I had about the food, definitely will go here again.

I have to give a Big SHOUT OUT to Isaiah for his awesome and very professional service here at panda. As a man of God and street minister, it's always nice to come across people who try to hold the balance at work and who make it pleasant and professional. I hope you see his potential and bless the boy with a raise. I have a feeling he will rise to the occasion and not let you down. Will be back more and more. God bless.
Food in my opnion is little expenssive! For 1 person with a combo plate and drink comes to like $17.
I just went tonight to get dinner for my family. Food and selection at the Hutto location has always been to my liking. I want to thank Isaiah and Rose for taking care of me tonight. They are fantastic at what they do. Thank you very much.
i come here pretty frequently around 11 am and its always so so so good hits all the spots. i myself work in the food industry and know it can be hard to be this consistent at times but man they do an amazing job. kudos to this team 💪
Nice place, good food. The shrimp and the beef were surprisingly good and the server was very friendly and patient and helpful. Price is on point with what you get. We look forward to going back. Oh, and it was clean (the serving area, dining area, and bathrooms.) Great job!
I came by this afternoon, confused about what exactly my elderly parents wanted me to order, but despite my slightly irritated demeanor, Mileidy waited patiently for me to order and gave me excellent service with a lovely smile! (I’m sorry if I spelled her name wrong) 10/10 would definitely recommend eating at this location

Pros: the restaurant is always clean and the food tastes consistent. Plus I love the hippo they painted to look like a panda :). Love the honey walnut shrimp. Cons: the new hand sanitizer sucks. It sprayed my toddler in the face. It sprays out and is too low for kiddos. Gotta watch out in line.
Megan was absolutely amazing! Learned she is a new addition to the Panda team, super helpful and patient. Thankful for her and her team making our dining experience a pleasant one. Will be visiting again.
Drive thru. Very Busy but good quality.
Always in my experience, Panda has good food. Sometimes you get a server that doesn't give you as much as another. This wouldn't stop me from continuing to go here but it may prompt me to say something and ask them to put a little more rice or noodles. Clean lobby and bathroom here, and that's always a plus.
We go here all the time and the food and drive through service is always excellent.

My wife and I came in for dinner tonight about 5:00. HUGE shout out to Kirsten C. She was fantastic taking our order. serving our food and working the register. It was busy, but she made us feel like we were the only customers there. Great attention to detail and awesome communication. She sets the bar very high. Hopefully she can be a positive roll model for others. Overall a great experience. Place was clean, food was good, service was excellent. BTW, the apple pie rolls are awesome.
Today I got a plate and my server, James B, greeted me at the window and it may have just been the jolliest server experience I've ever had at this Panda Express. He had a big smile and was very kind! My drink was perfectly filled to the brim, but not a full as my heart. Thank you James B!
Fast but didn't taste so fast. Drive through but go in..casual..pick your pleasure with lots of fresh cooked dishes. Very reasonable compared to Taco Bell....Yucky stuff from Dairy Queen..or Sonic. I select this over all of these overpriced fast junk food choices anytime. It is good food that gives you vegetables and lots of them. Best healthy pick for fast food thay i know of in Hutto.
The Pflugerville Panda Express is closer to me but I always drive to this one because they are fast, the food is always good, and my order is always correct. The family meal is a great deal!
Great food and good prices. Only one complaint: Needs for employees behind the counter. Only one person was at the front to help with the customers. Other than that... Everything was good!!
Clean restaurant, quick service, fresh, flavorful food. On the downside, the menu is a little limited and if you're on weight watchers be careful. It's very easy to blow through your daily smartpoints without realizing it. That last point may not be a negative for some people.
Definitely a good addition to Hutto TX, so far we visited this place a few times and the food and establishment has been great. 4 Stars instead of 5 because they always drop the sauces container in the plastic bag and tend to spill all over so have to remind them every time not to do that and to just hand them. They should wrap them in foil or buy better sauces containers.
Fast Chinese Food at reasonable price. Okay with me waiting for fresh Chow mein and made sure to package with proteins fresh so entire meal was still warm.
They have good food and consistent quality. I would leave a 5-star review, but sometimes the person working the drive-thru is not the friendliest. They aren't exactly rude, but they just don't have the best Hospitality. I would recommend eating here for a fast food Chinese fix.
I wish they had less oily/greasy choices
My wife and I decided to try out this new Panda Express location since it is close to where we live. We decided to get our meal "to go" and eat at home. The drive-thru is an option there, but we have learned from eating at other locations that it is not really a good option with this particular chain. Anyway, there was a long line in the drive-thru, but not inside. Their staff seems okay, but some of them are very new. Also, as other reviewers have stated, the management of this location does have an attitude that is not exactly "customer friendly". We did get good service with our order though, the food was fresh and tasted good. We will eat here again because of that and because of how close it is for us.
AUG 2025: Yay! This Panda has improved since my last visit. I enjoyed the new to me Hot Orange Chicken. Noticably a bit spicy (but not "I'm gonna sue for emotional trauma" due to tongue scarring) - just avoid peppers & seeds to regulate heat . Beef & Broccoli is better than last visit. Broccoli still a bit crisp - as it should be. (Instead of mushy melt in your mouth - shudder. Just say no.) & thicker sauce w/ good flavor (instead of a week beef bouillon broth). Please increase the # of candied walnuts in your rather tasty Honey Walnut Shrimp. Staff was attentive, patient & professionally polite. Upon request, a nice server povided a free sample which helped me decide that yup, I wanted their Hot Orange Chicken. Crew seems well managed & restaurant clean enough for government work. 😁 For the love of Martin (Yan Can Cook), PLEASE REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF CABBAGE added into chow mein (see photo - shows about 2/3rds the amount of cabbage to noodles...) There was OVER 4 oz of cabbage in my single serving of chow mein!!! 😲 (Alexa says there should be 1.3 oz of cabbage per serving.) Yeah, I'm not a fan of soggy criciferous filler, but come on. This is excessive. Other than that, well done Hutto Panda. Thanks for dinner. I'll be back. 😄
This place is very clean, but the fried rice tasted old. It made an otherwise good chicken and mushrooms taste bad overall. I liked how nice the staff was and how filling a one entree bowl is. The egg rolls were nice and crunchy in the outside, soft on the inside. I usually recommend the honey walnut shrimp.
I wish that when you eat in the restaurant that your food needs to be hot .I hate eating cold food and my egg rolls were horrible 😫. I ask for fresh one's and thank goodness they were hot.
Very nice and clean place. The service is relatively quick. I've never had an issue with any food I've ordered. My only gripe is that I wish there was a baby changing staion in the bethrooms
I gave three stars because the chicken was dry as all heck and required water to get down. This is on experience though. On a typical day I'd give 4 stars. Great staff.

For a fast food Chinese joint, not bad. New location, very clean. Food is same as every other location. Here's the good/ bad part. It is best to go when it is busy because that's the only way to get fresh food. This location needs time to learn to deal with the crowds
I'm here now & ordered the 3 entrée & a side. Very small portions for ordering the biggest dish. It's almost like they're trying to prevent from cooking more food rather than satisfying the customer.
I love Panda Express especially the orange chicken. I just wish this location would have a little more consistency. While it has never been bad it has ranged from ok to really good. I never know what my experience will be when I come here. I experience this the most with the fried rice. Sometimes it is flavorful and delicious while others it is bland and seems almost under cooked. The orange chicken does this as well but not nearly to the degree of the rice.
I don’t often go to Panda Express, but every time I do the food is great, but the service and employees are not. My biggest complaint with this location is that every time I go through the drive through, something is forgotten that I either have to wave through the window about, or drive around and come in for. I’m asked at the ordering screen for sauces, and they are never added to my bag. Every single time! A drink forgotten here, and egg roll there. It’s just always something.
I have never had a problem with customer service here but it seems like everytime I come here I have to pull around because something isn’t ready. I’ve been here plenty of times and it’s every single time. I like the string bean chicken and they never have that made and then sometimes when I do get it there’s more green beans than chicken. It’s annoying waiting 10 mins for a plate and then there’s two pieces of chicken and twenty green beans. I just wish that during dinner time they would have everything cooked and ready to go because it seems to always be a problem.
dunno if theyre cutting back on seasonings or new cook cant cook, last 2 orders of kung pao chicken and beef broccoli and fried rice have all been bland and lacked any seasoning/sauce and comes across like steamed and salted having no other flavoring. add more sauce!
Lo mien is normally not seasoned or sauced at all like eating spaghetti noodles with cabbage. Staff is nice tho, I won't really eat here again I've worked in a Chinese restaurant so I'm kinda picky on the food and know how it's actually supposed to be made only stopped here too try and for lack of a good Chinese restaurant in the area.
Went there Sunday. They had apparently been out of tea for 3 days. But instead of the cashier mentioning it when we bought a drink, we had to go back to the counter, mention that there was no tea, and she just shrugged her shoulders and didn't seem to care... we wouldve just had water!
There was literally a hair in my food. The fried rice to be exact and I know for a fact it wasn’t mine and it was like buried under it.
Took forever to get waited on in drive through. Didn't give me any teriyaki sauce for the teriyaki chicken. I repeated 3 times I wanted a diet coke, still ended up with a regular coke.
Nice people and clean restaurant, however the food is not consistent compared to the other Panda Chains. I’ve giving them 3 try’s and I will not go back. I’ve gotten sick the last time. I’m a manager and I would want the feedback to try and improve. Thank you
Ordered egg drop soup, since when is egg drop soup full of vegetables and stuffed full of onions? Couldn't taste anything but onion. Not what you're looking for when you have an upset stomach.
Uber family meal of $80 delivered- not any sauces....???? step up the game ya'll...not an option to ask via the app but I assumed basic sauce packets would have been added. Disappointed.
I am done with this location. It is like restaurants come to Hutto to die. I don't know why this location participates in online/mobile ordering. You would think they would want to communicate effectively with their patrons. If I order for pick up, wouldn't it be prudent to post that pick up service ends at 8p. Why would I order something for pick up and wait an additional 20mins in the drive-thru.
Ordered fried rice in the drive through and got noodles, nice!
I have to say going here its ok sometimes but the last 2 times I been it taste burnt like they leave the food in the fryer or rice to long in steamer eating I seen burnt I dont know what it is but I just wish they hire people that care to work and not to be there just to get a pay check
Staff seemed annoyed at having to take my order. Several menu items were missing from the choices we have. 15 minutes later after my arrival the : Teriyaki Chicken still wasn't done so I had to order something else because what I wanted wasn't ready 20 minutes later !!
The portion size of my broccoli & beef was very small; I didn't notice it before I left the drive-thru window, or I would have said something: I know every business is trying to make MORE MONEY, with serving portion of food, but this is ridiculous. I will start eating at home.
Whoever handles the food ordering here deserves to be fired. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve visited and they’ve been out of basic items like white rice or orange chicken during lunch or dinner hours. On top of that, I had to wait 15 minutes in the parking lot after placing my order. It seemed like there were about three other cars waiting with me. The only positive is how nice the staff is. Otherwise, I’d recommend avoiding this Panda Express if you can
Horrible service! One of the worst Panda Express we have ever been to. Redhead girl that works widow is always rude not to mention they always seem to be out of Crab puffs guees someone is just lazy in the kitchen.
Asked for fresh food at the time of ordering. Gave food that taste as if it was barely warmed up frin yesterday. When I complained to the manager Isabel Tamyo, instead of offering an apology she tried to reprimand me. Telling me I was at fault. I rhen asked for a refund and she told me it is the companies policy not to offer refunds. Afterwards she turned to her staff and began to speak in Spanish and insult me and laugh. Unknown to her I understand spanish. Save your money and do not patronize Hutto Panda Express
Need to reconsider the decision to not take multiple orders in drive thru lane. It's inconvenient to the patrons, and pushes us to other eateries. Considering it was during the prime lunch hour and I was the only car in the drive thru. You could use the buisness.
Isabella not a very friendly person She needs additional customer service training. I will continue to go to pflugerville panda. She also need to get training on correct portions as well. Being new in Hutto wish my kids and I had a better visit
Ordered grilled teriyaki chicken, fried rice, and power greens. Food was cold, tasteless, stale, and greasy. Hope I don't get sick.
I was told by lady name Arista, i am lying about my food tat i order drive thur. I did took the time to call the guest relation. To file a complain on tat. I hope the GM calls me to have this address and take all these issues..... Very rude and disrespectful person....
Manager working window had a very snippy attitude when we returned for a drink missing from our order. 2nd time we received a wrong order. 1st time they acknowledged the mistake & apologized. Checked receipt this time & then asked what size drink it was. Funny since it was on the receipt. How can a manager have such a rotten, pinch-faced attitude towards a customer when she clearly did not check the order before handing it out the window? Not my fault. Must have no other choice for manager here.
Panda Express haves always been good. But lately not so much. The service was not good at all. Rushing and rude. Chow mein was horrible very dry, no flavor. Really nothing was good. I don't understand what's going on. Going to get our food somewhere else.
Hey guys, I just want to start by saying that I have never had any problems with Panda Express in Hutto. If you ever been here and you know what I’m talking about it’s a great place to bring your family On the other hand, I think I spent almost half a bill and I was missing an entrée, so I gave panda express a call James was the employee that answered the phone call and he refused to even want to help me out. I know right, he said if I didn’t have the receipt that he would not want to even consider helping me out, so you know what I did I took him the receipt. I walked inside Panda Express with the receipt in my hand. I walked up to James. He was the gentleman that I spoke to and after driving all the way from my home to the restaurant, the only thing that he wanted to give me was the entrée that I already paid for he did not say sorry he did not make me feel welcomed or even a customer. I am a palled that this guy is working there he should be banished ripped from his apron and sent back to a place where they can teach them how to be professional. Yes but we have to put our reviews together and get this guy out of the picture.
Pretty disappointing. Stopped by for dinner and had honey walnut shrimp with chow mein noodles. The shrimp was warm, but not hot. They tasted alright. I suppose the honey helped. The noodles were almost cold and a bit chewy. Like they were either too old or not cooked enough
So I went to this location after I got off work and was refused service because I refuse to wear a mask in my own vehicle. Not to mention I have to wait in line behind 4 other cars after then refused to even take my order. I'm sorry but a political statement can be made elsewhere I just wanted to enjoy some pnad express after a long day at work. I wish I could give zero stars and I will not be going to this location again.
Went into the bathroom to wash my hands because they were covered in black grime from work. Not only was the automatic faucet an extreme pain to get going, the water came out at a trickle! But wait there’s more! The little bit of water that did come out after you danced your hands around for 30 seconds trying to trigger the sensor was SCOLDING HOT! And because I had already ordered I had no choice but to sit there and scold myself! My hands were way to filthy to eat. I did a fairly good job getting off most of the grime but my hands were still dirty. I could feel it on my skin for a few days after that scolding hot water. Here’s the worst part- I know darn well employees can not properly wash their hands after going to the bathroom at this establishment. YUCK!!! Will not be back!
The onions in the chicken entrees were so raw, you could hear the crunch and then taste the onion breath for hours later. It’s Asian stir fry, not Tex Mex… Portion sizes continue to shrink. Prices have increased but the portions decreased, inflation and what not amirite?
Isabela the “ MANAGER “ was very rude and disrespectful during my visit. I had ordered the broccoli and beef, when I was only served 2 pieces of beef I asked if I could get alittle more of the beef from the fresh batch that just came out she was quick to respond in a very unprofessional and disrespectful tone of voice and choice of words. Has no respect for customer service. I honestly won’t be coming back to this location.
Horrible experience! Ordered the super greens and the broccoli was turning brown and the kale greens were absolutely disgusting. The vegetables tasted like they were made days ago and served today!
Ordered a family meal, a large order of spring rolls that were completely soft and mushy, and a medium A La Carte Honey Walnut Shrimp that came in a container with about a cup size portion. The walnut shrimp alone was nearly $11. Spent almost $60 for everything. Panda Express should be embarrassed
So there were 14 cars in line, but 0.00 cars between ordering and the window. They absolutely need to move the order area further back, or add a menu earlier on. No reason for these 14 cars to wait so long!! Also, weird af to have a camera staring at me waiting for my food..
I took my children up there to correct an order from earlier in the day plus I wanted to try it out and see what it was like. Long story short there's a manager there of short stature,hispanic (I know this is not a race but I don't know her exact race) So of Spanish decent, lady manager with braces was very rude to my son. She basically told him that she didn't mess up his order even though he insisted that she did respectfully of course and at first was refusing to fix the order without the panda bowl box. However, he ordered hours earlier in school and threw the box out in school. So he didn't have the time to go back up there during school hours. She proceeded to slam his "corrected" food on the counter. He ordered a Panda bowl and before I addressed her rude behavior she only replaced his meat in the smallest to go container they had and not his chow mein because she gave him fried rice earlier that day and that's not what he asked for. So the entire meal needed to be replaced. Maybe she didn't know I was his mother but watching her rude customer service unfold baffled me at first as it was unwarranted. Bottom line this was my first and last time visiting this location even though it's new. I'm a stickler for good customer service so it only takes one time for me to not patronize a business especially if there are several similar businesses nearby. We proceeded on to the Panda Express we have always been going to without a hitch and I will just keep going there. That particular manager really needs to change her attitude. Wish I could remember her name but I remember the time and location and will be contacting this locations GM because she also gave me a sarcastic "Thank you for your feedback" after I finished my complaint and I had to return back in a second time because she was still going to try and short change my son. It wasn't even that serious. I've worked in customer service before. All she had to do was ask for his receipt an explanation of what's wrong and fix it without all of the attitude. She came out on a jittery fired up 10. Completely unacceptable and not something I usually have to deal with. This is a new low for Hutto.
Last time i went got food poisoning and one of the pieces of chicken seemed to have mold on it, this time i went again (such a terrible mistake) and my boyfriend got food poisoning almost worst than time. The food was room temperature, tasted old and worst, the lady in the window was weirdly rude.
Horrible experience! My husband told me someone laughed while taking his order saying " please don't go crazy on me with your order ." I didn't think much about that. Then both third entree were missing in our 3 entree plates . After calling the store both my husband and I. The "manager" would not provide me of her name nor of the name of her manager . I asked for a refund on a mistake, or a meal replaced on a big mistake from this location. Replied we could take the food back and get our entree, why as a customer would I have to do that on a mistake on your part. I know we are living in different times but no customer service at all? I know $1 here $1 there is no big deal. But if so reach into your own pocket. All I asked for was a refund on product not given on purchase...on top of that horrible customer service
I waited for family pack food , they said 10 min. She served all the customers in line , it took 40 min still not ready. That’s not a fair service. I really felt bad the way the management handled there. Simply i have to cancel and they did not apology.
I ordered a party size of greens THROUGH THE APP and they gave me a small size of greens. First time ordering from this location and hopefully the last. I had to wait for my order to be cooked. I ordered on the Panda Express app, they didn’t read the order, do they have a manager at this location?
Got my order wrong lied to the customer service people about their mess up. Who doesn’t have a manager on duty or don’t let there lead do refunds. Guess they don’t trust the team leads tbat much. I’ll continue to stick with my panda I go to because this one sucks
Tried to order online for 25 minutes and would not work. When we got to Panda Express to explain we were trying to order the family meal but the online was not working correctly she said we had to use the app because it worked better. We told her the app was doing the same. My husband asked if we could order with her and she said it would be double the price. No apology or anything. I could understand if they were busy but there was not one there. Definitely will not be going there again.
Incorrect order, no resolution from Manager, they wouldn't even answer the phone for me to tell them they gave me a completely wrong order. Sure, that's on me for not keeping a receipt for a week and a half. But they should have gotten the order right the first time, and they should have answered their phone when I called multiple times. As the icing on the cake, when I ordered food today and mentioned this to their manager, the food I ordered today was handed to me on its side, so all the different entrees were in one big mixed pile leaking out of the box. I like Panda but I won't be giving this location any more business.
They will not let you order more than one tiny sauce packet with your order. They will also doctor the reviews. Just wrote this review a moment ago and they deleted it
Not only was the shift manager and the young lady at the window extremely rude, but the food we received looked half-cooked and completely unappetizing. I haven’t experienced service this poor at a fast food restaurant in years. It’s truly disappointing when people take customer service jobs without having the basic skills or respect to handle them. From the very first word out of the manager’s mouth to the end of the interaction, the attitude was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable.
My egg roll had a bite out of it already... I just got back to work, opened the bag and it has a perfect bite out of it. Normally this place is satisfactory, but that made my entire meal unappetizing, I tried to call to let the manager know, but just rang until it cut off twice. I dont expect a lot from a restaurant, but I do expect my food to not have already been eaten. Now I won't have lunch..back to work.
On 20 November 2025 at or around 6:40. I entered the restaurant and was greeted immediately and helped by a kind and professional young African American lady. I placed my order then sat for 30 minutes while my ticket was ignored. Sandra was the supervisor on duty. I don't know if it’s a training issue or culture issue! I will definitely spend my money elsewhere.
Very bad ugly, unfriendly manner employees, came here last night no one was in line, went to register for my pickup order, took 10min for them to acknowledge me to get my order when it was sitting there the whole time. Needs better employees that want to work, all those girls were just on their phones instead of working.
Recently my wife put an online order from this location, 2 meals, Chau fan rice and some beef, one of those dish comes with a bunch of white rice, not be ordered, then the Chau fan rice served over the white rice...also the beef broccoli just comes with broccoli...broccoli and broccoli, just few pieces of beef, that I found with a magnifier. First and last time for us to get Panda from web order, never saw some like this before when we go directly to the store. BAD BAD BAD
