Took my family for dinner, and we all loved it. I had the Ribeye with Shrimp Tarasco, and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. So much so that I forgot to take a picture of it. Here are my two cents, not a complaint, just a suggestion check the fountain drink machine so customers don't get syrupy, flat drinks, and maybe add a spicier salsa option. Other than that, 10/10! Can't wait to come back and try the breakfast.

This is a great place to come to for whatever time it is. Great breakfast here. Food came out in less than 10 minutes for 6 of us, and their portions and quality of food were both great! Great service as well, waiters were very.helpful in getting what we needed really quick. Looking forward to eat here again sometime soon.

We always have such a great experience at Casa Jalisco! The food is delicious, hot and fresh. The margaritas are so good. The service is stellar from the moment you walk in. We love dining inside the restaurant and the patio, and love how we can walk right out to the wide open turf grass area and play with our little one afterwards. They also have a fun birthday experience! Definitely recommend. 😊

Best Birria tacos I’ve ever had hands down. Que Rico!!! The layout of this place and interior design must be noted as even the bathrooms look elegant yet give that Hispanic vibe. Staff was very friendly as well and will definitely be back. Please also try the horchata it was perfect and reminded me of childhood!

Roberto was fantastic! He explained everything and gave us a few pointers for our future plans to Mexico! The atmosphere was modern contemporary with a splash of Mexico. Very well done. The staff was helpful and courteous. The food was good and presentation was perfect!

Casa Jalisco is the absolute bomb. They have amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The prime steak section of the menu is an absolute must! They also have some amazing margaritas and micheladas. Sometimes they even have tequila shots on the house and live music from mariachis. One of the best Mexican food spots in Austin.

First time trying, we had Jasmine as our waitress and she was on point and always ready to help us when we needed something. We had read both positive and negative reviews but trust me, the place is on point!!! Food was hot, fresh, and tasted amazing!! Will definitely be back (hopefully Jasmine will be working as we will request her again). Sorry for some of the food photos looking a bit skimpy, we had to try them right away before I remembered to take photos.

I had to go food and the food was phenomenal. I've never been there before and I'll def have to eat in bc it's like one big sports bar, a nice one. Service: I arrived and some of the food was ready but I still had to wait for a couple things which led my food to be lukewarm at best, after a 10 minute drive home. And one of my entrees was beef fajitas and I didn't getcamy tortillas. Boo.

EDIT: What a turnaround! Everything about today’s experience was very good. We sat in the bar and were immediately greeted by Waitstaff with menus and water. We ordered guacamole and Laura’s as an appetizer and it was served fairly fast. After leisurely eating our Aztec plate was delivered and it was just as good. Definitely will be back and encourage others to stop by for some great food in a beautiful restaurant. On Sundays there is a live band. Looking forward to giving this restaurant another chance to impress. Went a couple weeks ago and were dissatisfied with the experience. Guacamole made tableside is always good but the chips were dark and thick. There were no salt and pepper shakers at the table either. The waitress did not know where to find any. The Aztec Plate is wonderful and looks fancy. On the wooden platter. The roasted green chili was a nice touch. Can’t go wrong with grilled skirt steak. The chicken enchiladas with green chili sauce was inedible as was the beans and rice. No flavor just mush. Fortunately the roasted green chili from my plate was chopped up and used as flavorings for the enchiladas. Didn’t get any tortillas. Forgetful waitress. There were no bar menus to order drinks. I asked for a margarita and was given a Hurricane. I make it a point to not complain to the staff. I just don’t go back. Maybe I’ll try again.

The service was fantastic, the barman and team were Johnny-on-the-spot from the moment we sat down. The food overall was ok, steak wasn’t seasoned enough, the veggie were “stew chopped”. The biggest issue I had was with the fajitas. I was served an appropriate amount of food but was only given two(2) tortillas! I asked if this was correct (not my first fajitas meal by a long shot) and was given four(4) more…and charged $4.00 for them. C’mon folks…c’mon.

So I decided to come back after my husband and I had a great night here on Sunday. But, the service and food weren’t the same. I ordered the Baja enchiladas and within 5 minutes my food came out, which made me realize people who ordered before me hadn’t even gotten their food. It took 10 minutes to get my chips and salsa, my food tasted old, and my waitress rushed from my table the two times she did come over. I wasn’t rude, I only asked one question regarding an appetizer but I felt uncomfortable and unwanted. The kindest person to me was the young lady that seated me. Blonde hair and in a ponytail. Thank you for being kind to me.

Paid 18$ for a large bowl of menudo that was mostly unseasoned/unflavored liquid. Literally no tripe or hominy! Marios menudo 15x better. Plus my supposed to be homemade tortillas were as hard as plastic!!! Last time yall get this Gueros $$$$

Took over and hour to be seated when we were told only 30 mins. Half the party got food and the other half got theirs 10 mins later. The waiter didn't check on us to refill drinks and seemed annoyed when we asked for a refill. The tables that they put together were all different sizes and our party had to move people around to be able to actually eat near their plates.

I hate to leave such a negative review, but I feel like I need to give people a heads up on how abysmal the service was today. I understand that when a place is busy, service is not going to be very fast, and they were certainly busy today. The issue isn’t that the service was slow, it’s that we received no real wait service whatsoever, apart from having our order taken after waiting a solid 20 minutes for waters to come out. Long story short, we were told the wait would be shorter if we sat outside on the back patio. We agreed. After being seated, we requested one of the heaters they had, were told they’d try to get one working, but that never happened. Then, another group is sat next to us, and almost immediately, they were given a heater. When we asked about one for our table (we had babies and toddlers with us that were cold), they pretty much shrugged at us and said that’s the last one with propane, we were out of luck. After that, we placed our orders and that would be the last time we saw our server until she was bringing us our checks. And even after bringing our checks, we had to finally ask another table’s server to just go ahead process payment, who then proceeded to lose track of our credit cards, requiring one of us to get up and look for them. To add insult to injury, my steak that was supposed to be medium rare was cooked beyond what I’d even consider well done. Went ahead and ate it because we really didn’t have a server to even inform how overcooked it was. I’ve eaten here before and the experience was just alright, but this was such an awful experience, I’m fairly confident I will never be back.
