Great place to eat while tasting at the winery's. Menu is big enough for most everyone. Good selection of draft beers. The food and service were awesome. Have visited here several times over the years and have never been disappointed.
If you haven’t been back there definitely go. The food was great; fried chicken and creamy mashed potatoes, Caesar salad and grilled cheese. Newly renovated and service was excellent. Highly recommend.
Nice burgers and fries restaurant with other items on the menu.
Staff, especially Kyle, was very friendly and helpful. Good selection of wine and beer. Empanadas, tacos, Mac and cheese, and fries were delicious. Live music was enjoyable to listen to. Great environment, definitely recommend.
First, ownership is top notch. Brought us cake and candied bacon (not on the menu) complimentary. Showed me upstairs where my girlfriend showed me up in pool, and then made us a drink (also not on the menu). When the main course finally arrived, it was better than you could ask for. We will be back
They offer tasty sandwiches, wraps and salads to go with their local beers on draft from Lucky Hare Brewery. They have a full bar as well. Their front lawn has picnic tables overlooking Cayuga Lake shore with a corn hole setup.
This is by far my new favorite restaurant, it had a beautiful view of the lake, a campfire to sit around, and cornhole for everyone to play. We had a pretty large group of thirteen people and they were happy to accommodate us. The waitress was very kind and interactive with our group, asking about our trip and sharing personal experiences. And the food was so, so good. I got the potato cups with mozzarella cheese, broccoli, and bacon and they were so tasty and so filling and honestly such a good idea for an appetizer. The prices are a little bit high but you get so much food and it’s so good that it’s by far worth it. We even met the owner towards the end of the night as he was sitting around the campfire, my friend got to talk to him for awhile and he was very down to earth and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Went to O’Malleys with friends for lunch at 12:30 PM on Wednesday August 21st. Their website and door hours showed they were open at noon. Upon arrival, the door was locked, no lights were on and loud music was playing. No sign of staff. Very disappointed. Follow up 07/03/25, O’Malleys made it right and the food was delicious.
Nice place, good view of the lake minus a house on the other side of the road. Food was solid. Won't argue the prices given the quality of the food. Their burger was thick and tender. Also tried their clam chowder and its was very thick, full of all the good stuff like clams and potatoes, and very filling. My mom got the beef on weck, and they used a proper weck bun with tender beef.
The buffalo chicken wrap was great. My friends ordered the tuna on a croissant and the Irish fries and they enjoyed their meals also. We sat on the front patio area with a lovely view of the lake. Definitely will be back!
What truly made this a 5 star location was the outstanding, gorgeously friendly, welcoming exceptional staff!!! BRAVO! First time there, just driving through from far location, 1st thing popped up on Google maps. Immediately at the door, a sign that says "...short staffed, please be patient..." I have worked in restaurants of all kinds (waitress, bartender, now chef) for over 40 years, found it so sad but so needed in times like these to have to be greeted with a sign like this....however, what a GREAT idea, no thanks to some customers that can be very "short" in reading the room, when a super busy place with actual human beings are employed and they are doing their absolute best to wait on you hand and foot, only to recieve the mistreatment a select few can dish out. Having said that, the restaurant did become super busy and full, all with only TWO SERVERS working the floor, and still managed to get everyone seated, menued, drinks, food...all with speed, efficiency...and SMILES. Super great job, ladies! VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! The food: AWESOME. Excellent job, chef!!! My only desire to bring down to 4 stars would be the interior/decor: a little "dark" and cavern-like and dated for such a gorgeous location, right on the beautiful, bright sunny lake, making us really wish we could be outside instead (it was too windy that day), place could really use a fresh remodel to really bring the gorgeous outdoors in, lighten things up. Other than that, everything was fantastic: excellent food, outstanding service, stunning location....a must-go-to on your drive around Cayuga Lake!!!
I ate here a year ago and left a bad review. I stand by it. It was awful. BUT, I thought they deserved a second chance, so we stopped in for a drink a month ago, and had a really good experience, just talking to the bartender, so we went for lunch yesterday. WOW, what a difference. It was busy, and they had a wait for tables outside, but we went to the bar and were served quickly. Although the bartender was swamped, she was amazingly quick and personable. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious. They didn't ask for a doneness, and it was well, but I thought it was great. My friend raved over the mayo, and thought it was flavored. It was just a darn good burger. The french fries though.... Perfect!! It is easy to screw up fresh cut fries, but they know how to do them right. Hot and crispy, with a soft center and right amount of salt. For delicious burgers and fries, and two drinks each, it was around $70, which we felt was well worth it, due to the nice afternoon, friendly bartender, and great food. I'm taking down last year's bad review and looking forward to our next visit!
Two grandparents, two parents, and two (grand)children had a terrific lunch. The lobster roll is large, whole lobster pieces, not cut up bits mixed in mayo as I have had in Maine, and served with melted butter to drizzle if you choose to. Chicken nuggets were nice pieces of chicken, well flavored and enjoyed by both kids and adults. Great service; the kids were waited on, not put up with. We would definitely go here again!
3/29/25. I had a reuben, and my husband had the smash burger. The atmosphere was really nice with the lake right outside the window and the wood beams on the ceiling. It was really cold the day we went, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor cornhole or the seating area overlooking Cayuta Lake. The server was super friendly, and she checked on us often. Fries don't come with the sandwiches, but for the $10 basket, it's more than enough to share. The burger sauce on the side makes for a good dipping sauce as well. Bonus tip: If you're a key lime pie lover, order it! You won't be disappointed!
Great location, great food and good prices. The views of the lake are FANTASTIC!!! The atmosphere inside is great and the staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended if you're in the area. A+++
The atmosphere is fantastic, being right on the lake! It is a fun, happy, laid back and welcoming environment. The staff are so friendly and quick to help with whatever they can! The food is consistently excellent each time we go! Best burgers and shrimp tacos we have ever had!! Salads are fresh and full of flavor! Wings are delicious! If you’re looking for a fun casual place to enjoy great food on the lake, look no further! We don’t live close by to here but it’s absolutely worth the drive!!
Quiet afternoon when we arrived. The food was amazing. Burgers and sweet potato fries are delicious. Tables by the window offer a great view of the lake. Friendly staff and great food make this an easy recommendation.
Great place. Visited for lunch today. Food was very good. The waitress/bartender was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be stopping in again when we're in the area.
A nice lakeside stop for food and drinks. We got in and out for about a 90 minute stay right before a big rain storm rolled in. Had a great time. Good atmosphere and nice views and breezes from the lake. The porchetta sandwich special was phenomenal
Really loved the log cabin, friendly young lady, excellent lunch specials and huge menu and beverage selections, really decent prices and will be back ofter. Been restoring house inInterlaken and decided to move here from Wyoming because UpState feels like long life friends. Thank Yous
This place was great! The food was amazing, I had a French Dip and it was very good. The French Fries are hand cut and they are to die for!
Food, service and location are great. We came for there Valentine's dinner. Prime rib and crab legs, who can complain about that but the creme brulee was the star, I absolutely loved it.
Great hospitality by Phil, Olive, and Amy. Such a welcoming atmosphere that the bride-to-be all but demanded we return before our trip’s end. Food (small but elevated tavern menu) was prompt and flavorful, a pleasant surprise. Impressive drink selection, quaint wooden bar. Plenty of outdoor seating within walking distance of the shore.
Good Tavern, friendly service. The place is immaculate and smells of popcorn which is my favorite, beautiful views really couldn’t ask for more.
Super cute pub! Service was fast and piping hot. Very yummy! We had the fish and chips. Fish was wonderful and fries were seasoned well and crispy. Came with coleslaw that was also yummy! Great experience!
Wonderful to have this great location reopened and under new management that's doing their best to to deliver a quality experience. The addition of a bar on their deck is brilliant and makes a huge improvement. Their menu has been right sized and features better selections. The staff is friendly, fast, and committed to keeping the good times rolling.
This was a terriffic place. Friendly people, fast service. Good beer and wine and good food. We ordered a chicken wing appetizer...they were done correctly. Nice, hot and crispy, NOT rubbery like in some places. Then we each had a fish fry. That too was good. We finished up with a piece of lemon pie...also good. The place has a comfortable rustic feel to it like I remember as a kid going to the Adirondacks...right across the road from as large lake. Next time I'm at Cayuga Lake I'll be sure to stop by.
Food was good. Especially salad and smash burger. Since it is long weekend, need to wait little longer. Good view of lake. Will definitely come next time..
We’re visiting the area and stopped in O’Malley’s after a local hike for beers and wings. The staff is super friendly, great atmosphere, and the garlic wings were awesome and reasonably priced. Great place to stop.
Great spot, super clean. Host and server were great, food was delicious.Large selection of cocktails and beer. We would definitely return, highly recommended.
Our food was delicious, and our server Kara was exceptional!!! She went above and beyond and even took photos for our large party (10 people). Give her a raise, she was so fiendly and attentive!
This is a long overdue review. In June 2024, I attended my Cornell Reunion and invited my fraternity brothers and their partners to a lunch at O'Malley's Lakeside Tavern. I thought that a trip up Cayuga Lake from Ithaca for a lunch somewhere, coupled with a wine tasting at a vineyard, would make for a very pleasant afternoon for everyone. After looking at Yelp and Google Reviews, I decided to inquire O'Malley's about whether they could accommodate over twenty people, rain or shine. I chose O'Malley's because of their favorable reviews, excellent menu, quaintness of their facility, location next to the lake, and reasonably close proximity to Cornell. I spoke with Johnno, the manager, who assured me that O'Malley's would be able to manage our event well. Johnno requested a heads-up on what people would be ordering. I sent out invitations to the lunch along with O'Malley's menu, and requested that people send me their menu selections a week in advance. I was hoping for good weather for the event, but as luck would have it, the weather forecast called for some rain, as to be expected in the Finger lakes area. Fortunately, O'Malley's had a wonderful outdoor tent set-up, so although it rained a bit, everyone was comfy. I asked for appetizers to come out first, before meals, so everyone could mingle while standing, drinks in hand. Appetizers and meals were well-timed by O'Malley's Staff. The food was delicious. O'Malley's came through 100 percent for us. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone who is considering a similar group event to strongly consider O'Malley's. The Staff served us very well, the food was great, and you cannot beat the ambience. Thank you Johnno and team!
Food was excellent and service was amazing! There was a good variety of food to order. Would definitely go again!
Such a great spot on the lake! Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere is a very cute Irish pub. We went for a late lunch and ordered a little bit of everything. It was well paced and everything was tasty. Even the salad was full of really fresh veggies and a great dressing. The seafood chowder was warm on a cold rainy day. The wings are meaty and well done. What I loved about the wings was they let you mix sauces, not every place does this. My husband got the chicken sandwich which was unique and delicious. A friend of mine got the burger which she loved, it had a great bistro sauce. We got an extra side of that sauce with the sweet potato fries which were crispy and soft on the inside. For dessert we got an orange creme bruleé which was made by one of their bartenders and it was so good. The sugar was freshly caramelized on top and still warm. This place is truly a little gem, don't pass it up!
It’s a new owner since the last time I went. Their menu is really small compared to what it used to be, but maybe that’s because it’s not fully into tourist season yet. They had a sausage sandwich special which was to die for!!! Their host was a lovely girl who took our drink and meal order for us since the server was a little busy!! Def going back on our next trip!
Everything was outstanding. Extremely personable and fabulous food. Had a hot cider and whiskey drink that was perfect. I had a birthday lunch with my bestie Sherry, her son Travis and my husband Steve. Best birthday!
Our first time there and we enjoyed outdoor seating. They have a limited lunch menu, but some good choices. The employees are very friendly and efficient. The food is well prepared. There is a view of Cayuga lake from the outside seating. Inside seating is available. I would definitely return.
I don't know how it took me so long to get up here. We drove up from west of Watkins Glen for the first time tonight and it won't be our last. The service was awesome. Super friendly staff. Best Calamari I've had in a long time. Smash burger and fries were so good. Fish fry was delicious. We are so glad we made the drive. But there's not a whole lot better than the environment, the food, the outdoor seating. Such good vibes. If you are reading this because you're trying to find a place to grab some food or drinks with a view tonight, just get in your car and go. You'll love it here. We found our new spot. 🙌
Arrived at 6:20 via boat and had drinks and dinner at the bar. Had the Thanksgiving Wrap that was made specially for me since I have a shellfish allergy, it was very good with side of great Mac and cheese! Burger was also very good as Well! Good atmosphere, music, location and new beginnings to a wonderful location. Can’t wait for the tiki bar and live band by the dock! Cayuga lakeshore living, cheers 🚤🌈🌞 It is not the same but change is good. All the best to Steve in Myrtle beach, the foundation was set!
Bartender was very nice. Food was good. Great place to go by boat!!
Great find along the shore of Lake Cayuga. Everyone is friendly, fine selection of beer and booze and the food was delicious. Lobster roll is spot on, salads are flavorful and fresh. Very glad we stopped here.
Fast service, friendly staff and good pub grub. We had the fish fry with fries and the lobster roll with fries. We liked the portion size since it wasn't a belly breaking meal and felt just right for a lunch time get you through. Nice outdoor seating space with views over the lake too! Free car parking and covid safe feel.
The waitress was good at her job. She was funny and made it a welcome place to eat. The only thing that was a downer, was the menu. It only had breakfast items on it . We put our order in everything was good.. The order of onion rings was a bit small.. Only 5 rings. But we all enjoyed our meals.
Good near lakeside restaurant a short walk from the docks. We sailed in after placing a call-ahead order and while the order was ready on time there were some missing and incorrect items. All in all it turned out ok because the replacement item was actually pretty good. And everyone enjoyed their food, which for a group of 8 is pretty rare. Very well adorned, homey and comfortable place, great for a summer night get together or a mid afternoon brunch. Dogs were roaming near their owners outside on the front deck, all friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return. **If you sailing or boating in, keep a close eye for the dock. The sign for the restaurant itself is not easy to spot from far away since it all blends in — look for a RED BENCH and you’ll know you’re in the right place.
We read some of the many negative reviews before coming here, and due to a lack of options for pescetarians we decided to give it a shot anyway. While a little pricey for what it is, it’s understandable given the location and possible price increase is due to an effort to stay in business during Covid. All that having been said, it would be hard to see how our experience could’ve been better. The inside is cozy, but due to the pandemic and temperate weather conditions we chose to sit outside with a beautiful view of Lake Cayuga. The food was good. Not exceptional, but good. The reason I’m giving this place four stars is in part to counter all of the negative reviews that I don’t think it deserves (maybe the owners are miserable and create misery in their staff, but I also know how hard it is to keep good staff in a restaurant, especially if you are drawing from a rural community). I am also giving it five stars because you get a real sense of history here, as you do all over this region. I worry about a future in the finger lakes where money brings the kind of lakefront restaurants that will squeeze out a quaint place like this, as happened in the SF Bay Area, for example. Come here while you still can, then continue north and look at the breathtaking mansions by sunset.
Decent little lunch spot! Had the lobster bisque, beef on week, with a side salad and shared it all with my husband. All decent food! Nothing over the top, but all good. Service good also nice outdoor patio right on the lake!
MUST COME MONDAY -FRIDAY 4-6. Happy hour buy one drink get one free! Good bar food. We had a fish sandwich and chicken sandwich. Everything was good, but the fryer Grease had a bit a an old taste to it.
Our food was good. Service was spotty. Dock access is great. The local wine offerings were appreciated too.
Definitely not an Irish restaurant......mostly american cuisine. Restaurant has good location on the lake with easy boat access to their dock. There was plenty of outdoor seating. Our group of six had various wraps, haddock, and the lobster roll along with some cocktail specials. Staff was short-handed but still provided good service.
I came here on this Mother’s Day with my family. I got wings and my food was personally really good and my family seemed to enjoy theirs too, except my aunts noodles that were only half cooked all the way and the other half weren’t, making it so she had to get the food remade. Also the menu wasn’t very diverse with many options but what they did have was good. Also we ordered calamari it cost $17 and we got a very very small portion not at ALL worth $17. The service was very very good, she kept checking on us and refilling our drinks and gave us more than anything we could need. The atmosphere was SO good upstairs had a very relaxing chill spot with many games like pool and chest with even corn-hole outside. They had 2 bathrooms and one even gender neutral. They also had outside seating on porch and off. Both bathrooms were clean and the vibes were overall great at this place will come again.
This is an old cabin converted to a bar/restaurant. They have lots of seating outside. They have good views of the lake. We visited here on a Tuesday in September so it was not busy at all. It was very comfortable outside, but there is limited seating inside if the weather is bad. I was told this place is standing room only in the summer. The signage is not that great. There is a big bush covering the sign out front which made it a little hard to find. Our group of 4 had buttermilk battered chicken, fries, sweet potato salad, mac N chesse, and salad. We thought the portions were a little small for the price. The food was good and full of flavor. The staff was accommodating, but not over the top.
It just reopened under new management. To me, for example, "buttermilk fried chicken" does not mean chunks of fried chicken breast on a bun. They are trying very hard to work out the kinks. I think they have good potential, and are worth trying again in a month or so. The view of the lake is great.
Eh. Not impressed with the food. Very few options for those with food sensitivities. Mine were corn and gluten. I appreciate the server working to find answers to my questions, but my food wasn't great...the wings were good but got a salad which was described as romaine but was mostly iceberg lettuce... it was toward the end if the season, and when I had asked about the homemade dressing I was told it wasn't homemade because it was late in the season and they were only using commercial dressing. Nice view. Won't be returning thou gh...
Waitress was super nice and always checked on us. The food was not that good. My dad had to get shrimp cocktail taken back. It tasted and smelled really fishy. You can tell it wasn't that good because there was only a handful of people there on a Saturday afternoon at 2
Service was terrific-friendly waitress. Bar seating is uncomfortable so sit at picnic table, not much of a lake view. Pretzel braid was delicious, but chicken sandwich was very burnt, as was bun. When returned to kitchen, was returned to me with a new bun and bottom half of chicken patty cut away.
We ended up at this place because on a Sunday evening because the place we wanted to go to was closed. The restaurant is at a nice location, with a large deck with picnic tables, with views of the lake. There is also an indoor dining area, and it looked rustic. We ordered the smash burgers and fries. The burgers were just OK, and the fries were soft.... the meal was definitely overpriced.
It did not make sense to me why the place was so busy, when the food was subpar and service was slow. Our server was extremely unfriendly, did not know the menu/specials nor did she check up on us after the meal was served. Buffalo chicken burger: Not gonna lie, KFC patty is bigger, better and juicier. The brioche bun was stale. Korean BBQ wings: absolutely dry, sweet sauce thrown on top, not even tossed. Fries: stale, not fresh/ crunchy. Definitely a let down, but perhaps an ok place to sit outdoors and enjoy some beverages. Stay away from the food.
First time at this restaurant, saw it on a YouTube video so thought it’ll be good😱, sign on entrance stated please be patient short on staff, no problem that’s understandable. We ordered two appetizers one was chicken wings, server brought it out placed it on the table & left, but no BC dressing or celery/carrots 🤷🏼♂️ we asked where’s the rest -O the server said “we ran out of celery” What she didn’t even tell us just walked away, then I asked for refill on my soda when she brought it to me no ICE🤷🏼♂️ just a warm soda,I asked where’s the ice she gave a little cup & said that’s all the ice we have in the house. I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 23 years as a chef mgr owner & NEVER ran out of celery carrots or ICE. It’s very nicely decorated inside but please get the kitchen mgr to order correctly & for Pete’s sake get an ice machine a restaurant/ bar should NEVER ran out of ice!
As someone has been coming to O’Malleys for decades, we had heard that O’Malleys was “back”. O’Malleys is far from back. We arrived with 6 people around 6:30pm, we did not receive food until after 8:00. When we did receive our food (after the kitchen was riddled with items that they couldn’t make any more), the entrees were small and inconsistent. The Friday night dinner special was a “prime rib flatbread” wrap, that ended up being a cold cut wrap. Two people at our table order this, one was on flatbread, the other on a tortilla. Service was very slow and the food not as described. O’Malleys has also scooped up the place next door and ruined a good, Cayuga lake restaurant venue, under the guise of an event space. If you’re out on the lake, go to Fargo or Wolfys before O’Malleys.
What a different experience from our first visit years ago. The tavern seems to be more popular and they don't seem to be able to handle it. Our waitress warned us that a large group had just ordered and that there would be a wait for our food but it took an hour and 20 minutes after we ordered for the food to arrive. The food was fine but my burger was room temperature and had obviously been sitting a long time before being delivered to the table. The waitress basically disappeared from our inside area, serving the outside patrons the whole time we waited. After we ate she took a long time to come back to check on us and clear the plates. We asked for the check and she said she would be right back. After 15 minutes I had to get up and go out to the tent area to track her down. Other customers, inside and out, had complaints about wrong food arriving and bill errors. A minor pet peeve - our inside table for four was uncomfortable metal grate outdoor furniture. We were traveling to Ithaca on a Saturday, saw the sign for O'malley's and decided to check it out. So glad we did. This is a real gem! The wineries were packed with limo and bus groups. Compared to that chaos O'malley's was a welcome haven. It was everything we could have wanted. We sat by the fireplace and were warmly welcomed by the hosts. The menu has a full range from appetizers to sandwiches to steak dinners. We only wanted a light lunch and chose the lobster bisque, corn chowder and chili. Every thing was good including the service. It has such a friendly, cozy atmosphere we hope someday to return later in the day and have a beer at the bar.
What a miss. Disappointed in this stop. Service and atmosphere were fine. Could definitely use more fans outside for the patio. The food: premium pricing for less than desirable food. Caesar salad was lettuce and chicken (+$$) only - nothing added. Mac and cheese was not good, in our group Of 8 not one person would eat it. Burgers with no side - for premium price. Fried Clams - expensive for a tiny bit. It was supposed to be a dinner size portion and it definitely was not. And didn’t come out with the sauce.
Stopped here for a quick lunch and it wasn't great. We were told to choose any table outside, and then waited for ages. Someone finally came over to take our order, then realized we hadn't been given menus. Food took a long time to arrive, and our ceaser salad was just a plate of lettuce, the croutons were missing and the chicken pretty minimal. Our chicken bacon ranch wrap was nice enough, but the additional side of fries seemed like they had been cooked in old oil and tasted wrong. We both had upset stomachs a couple hours later. For $20 per meal, it was pretty poor quality. Service was friendly although slow, and the setting nice enough although not much lake view. Wouldn't go back.
Unfortunately, we had a bad time. Shortly after peak lunch time, we showed up and got seated pretty quick. Staff were friendly. We put our order in, and two tables seat after us, one party larger the other smaller. Both tables received their food before us. An order of wings (that we did not place) were brought to us, and quickly taken away without a word as to checking on our food. Once 4 burgers finally arrived 50 minutes later, most of it was lukewarm and very overdone and dry. One of our group kept finding small plastic shards in their pumpkintini. Three of us ordered mojitos, and *something* was off about them, and none of us could figure it out, but we didn't finish them. I don't know if the limes were bad, or the soda gun was off, but something about them left a bad taste. We didn't want to make a fuss in the moment because the place was busy with a wedding rehearsal lunch or something, but the reviews made this place seem much better than it really was, and for visiting the area, this was really disappointing.
The portions are ridiculously small for the price they charge. My friend got the calamari appetizer and it was an extremely small basket with no more than 10 calamari. They charged $17. Fries do not come with burgers and are charged as an additional $5. The food quality itself is okay, but not worth the price.
We stopped here because nothing else was open. We stopped just after 7 and waited a few minutes for a table which was fine. When we sat down, no drink order was taken. We made our order for food around 7:30-7:40 (the menu is 99% burgers. Fries are an additional charge). We were aware that orders were backed up. We did not get our food until 8:30. It took us about five minutes to eat the burgers and minimal fries (along with a tiny $6 bowl of “mac and cheese”). It took us longer to get the bill than it did to eat our food. We finally left at 9 pm. It’s worth noting that there was not a large turnover of people. It was mostly the same groups of people there waiting as long as we were, with a couple fresh customers trickling in. Overall, cute place, great views, but absolutely would not return.
If I could I would give it a zero. Burned fried chicken, burned bun for the Buffalo chicken sandwich. When you are thinking of docking your boat and going here, DON’T. Go the other way and go to Wolfy’s. To top it off the older blonde door attendant is extremely rude and basically does everything in her power to get people to go elsewhere.
Highly recommend NEVER going here ,service was HORRIBLE, food was about the same and worst of all, despite leaving a cash tip AND writing cash in the tip spot on the slip, they decided to add a tip onto my card - a larger tip than we left in cash! A meal that was worth about$15 cost $57 and the to that should've been almost nothing but was decided to be $12 cash, overnight became a $27 tip. Furious is an understatement. I never post things like this but after waking up to my bank notification this morning I couldn't not.
No real choices on the menu. It is more of a self service place where you order at the bar and they give you a buzzer to let you know when you can pick up your food. For me, the only choice was a burger, a “smashed” burger. Yuck. Well done. This place was really nice last year, but we will NOT return to this fast food joint anymore.
The cleanliness of the bar here was awful. Dirty rags that employees used cleaning the bar, wiping hands etc being thrown on top of clean glassware. Very dirty and unorganized. Bartender had a poor attitude. Servers waiting for their drinks seemed irritated with the clumsiness of the bar staff. Drinks made wrong being dumped down the sink. Bar manager drinking shots behind bar, giving free drinks away. As a fellow bar/restaurant owner from out of state on vacation this was an absolute disgrace.
Definitely not the O’Malley’s that I went to the last time I was here. The full service restaurant is gone and they have a limited, limited menu. Is staffed by young people that don’t care and they served by husband’s burger and fries (which were good) a long time before I got my Mac n cheese that was stone cold. It’s a shame, we drove here from Scranton Pa (because of how much we enjoyed our last visit, if I had known that there were new owners I might have thought twice) to be fully disappointed ( with the exception of the French fries)How do you mess up unsweetened ice tea?
Worst experience ever. Been to O’Malleys for years. This had nothing to do with that. No food available at all on a Saturday after 4th of July. Place wasn’t even busy. Told the kitchen closed at 4pm. Bartender lost our card 2 minutes after giving it to him. Couldn’t even get a drink after they told us they didn’t have food. Nice renovation but the owners should be embarrassed how bad the place has become. Ashamed at what this was.
It was the worst meal. I should have noticed the sign when we. Were the one customers there for lunch. I ordered a brisket burger and all I got was a hockey puck for $11. I will not go back again. I I owned the place, I would fire. The cook.
Got there for drinks on holiday weekend around 4:00. Sign said dinner @ 4:00. Bartender proceeded to lose my husbands credit card for 20 minutes - meanwhile he was the only person at the bar. Then around 4:30 we saw a waitress writing on the sign … we went to see what they were writing and they said “closed for the night”. Never once did the waitress or anyone address all of us that were sitting there letting us know they were closing. Absolutely thw worst service ..: the worst host .. the worst customer service. Would not recommend at all. Such a complete disappointment.
O stars. Worst mistake to take my visiting relatives here because the service was absolutely terrible. 40 minutes waiting on our orders only to receive our food that was burned, tasteless, not seasoned, flavorless and dry. Worst restaurant in all of Finger Lakes region. We asked the waiter for an ETA on the food and she didn’t provide one. We asked the waiter to refill our water glasses and nobody showed up until 40 min later. Other customers received their foods before us and came AFTER us. On top of that, it was not worth the expensive price whatsoever! Most laziest negligent restaurant and customer experiences. Seriously, Save your money and spend it elsewhere. I do not recommend this restaurant whatsoever.
The service here was beyond lousy, food was 'fair', and prices were waaaay to high for what you get. However, the establishment was unique and interesting, and the location had good views of tbe lake.
