wings were amazinggg the honey gold sauce and garbage sauce were both 10/10. i will definitely be coming back whenever i’m in town!
Well, if it means anything we’re originally Italian and the pizza here was absolutely great. Very nice renovation. Happy to have this place close to home!
Charbroiled Wings were amazing, probably the best I have ever had in Ithaca. The home blue cheese was blended well and delicious.
Got some pizza for an event, it was deliecious and the service was great!! Would definately eat here again.
I just had a large salad for lunch with blue cheese on it and it had chicken and ham and lot of lettuce and cheese it was delicious I've tried their Pizza it was good I've tried their calzone it was delicious I can't wait to try everything but you can only eat so much in one day thank you again and it's very clean and bright inside and they're very helpful there thank you again for the delicious lunch
This restaurant embodies everything that’s great about local business. Great service, great people, and most of all great food!!! I would eat their pizza every day if I could.
I'm a big pizza fan. Northeast Pizza And Bones has amazing pizza, amazing wings. The sauce taste different than other pizza shop which makes it better.
Great pizza, calzones and andwiches! Best of all is the friendly wait staff! We’ll always make this our favorite pizzeria when we are visiting our family.
A great finding! Great laid-back atmosphere, great pizzas, and the craft beer is fantastic. Try the Spiedie wings, as well. You will not be disappointed.
Good dough, good pizza. The dough could be a little thicker but overall very good pizza.
Excellent service and food. Pizza, wings, calzones, salads are always awesome. Tim and crew know what they’re doing for sure!!
The best pizza in the area, good wings, all you can eat wings on Monday for 13$, connected to a bar. My new favorite place to eat!
Try the pizzetta, the option to build your own makes the experience so much better with the many customizations. The service is great. Also check out the SAY CHEESE sign and take a photo!
Working in town from a couple of hours away. I wish they had a location close to home. Phenomenal and unique pizza. Hoping to check out the all you can eat wings next time I'm back. I know it will be a summer of superb pizza now.
Always excellent. Freshest pizza in town. Fast like from the oven to the table. But order a personal...the best. This one is a Popeye ( spinach and feta) and sorry but I already ate half lol 😉 my favorite.yummy.
Close, fast and delicious. I wish I could order online and then pay in cash. They make the kind of dough that feels like it tastes good. You pick the garlic knots up and know your mouth is in for a treat.
They won our lab of ornithology maintenance teams pizza challenge. The sauce was on point it didn't give that after heart burn feeling. Could taste the sweetness cheese was on point as well.
the food is amazing, the staff is welcoming and friendly! Best wings and pizza in town! Could not recommend more!
This is THE best pizza shop in Ithaca! Their employees know what we want when we come in even if it’s been a while in between visits. You are missing out if you have never been.
The wings were absolutely delicious along with the homemade sauces. I can't wait to try some other menu items offered as well!
I was looking for garlic knots, but they weren't immediately available due to cost and popularity, but they are available upon a call ahead request. The pizza is still good and ready though!
Some of the best food around, prices are always reliable, staff is top notch and management always goes above and beyond. Thank you for everything always.
Great NY style pizza. Not the best I've had, but it's good. Had their hot Hawaiian and it was far spicier than anticipated, very pleased.
Bro for real this place is EXCELLENT. I always get wings or a Buffalo chicken calzone, literally some of the best food I’ve ever had. And the portions are massive, I eat about 2-2.5 the average serving I can only finish like 2/3-3/4 of the calzone.
Northeast pizza and the scale house brewery is one of the places that makes Ithaca great. The pizza, calzones, and wings are favorites of mine. If you love cheese, you'll love this pizza. The brew pub is a true neighborhood pub and it seems there is some form of entertainment every night. Best NY style pizza in town!
Great authentic italian pizza, calzones, subs and wings. Staff is super friendly and fast with your order. Would highly recommend you give them a try you wont be disappointed.
Came with family from out of town. The Works pizza is really delicious as a large assortment of meat and veggie toppings. We tried several of their beers. The peanut butter stout was delicious. The blonde is a also very good. I'll come back another time to try the calzones and wings.
My very large family tried the new Pizza & Bones Lansing location, we spent nearly $200 on food & we were not disappointed! I’m so freakin happy there’s a good place for pizza in Lansing, our pizza game has been dead for years. We ordered 3 large pizzas, jalapeño poppers, 30 wings 3 different flavors, 1 Philly chicken calzone, 1 toss salad, & 1lb of boneless wings. Everything was on point! Thank you Pizza & Bones team!
Great pizza place. The staff is always friendly. The pizza is amazing. Great deals for a couple of slices and a drink at lunch.
Simply the best pizza in town! I recently moved here and after getting disappointed for so long I finally discovered this pizza place. They also do slices and honey bbq chicken is a must try. It’s phenomenal.
So excited about this place! Amazing gluten free pizza! My friend got a large veggie calzone and was surprised by how huge it was! I can't wait to go back and have more of their pizza, I've missed hot, delicious takeout pizza so much. I have a mild wheat allergy, not celiac, so I can't speak to low-level cross contamination, but they answered my allergy questions and had great service!
The 20" pepperoni pizza that we got was very tasty with a good amount of sauce, topping coverage, crust thickness, and was quite filling. If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely be coming back.
Absolutely delectable! I had some of the wings at an event I attended and not only were the wings delicious, the sauce was from another planet. I would definitely order from this establishment again and again and again!
We ordered the veggie wrap, 3 people had chicken parm, and my dad had a gigantic Greek calzone. Everything was perfect, the perfect amount of sauce and flavoring, the perfect amount of chicken. Everything was well worth the price. I live over 3 hours away and this was a great restaurant to order from. Thanks again
Thank you to NE Pizza and Bones for the great pizza and service! You made our company employee luncheon special with all the restrictions involved with the current environment. So nice to have a high quality pizza restaurant open nearby! The pizzettas and home-made dipping sauces were fantastic!
We ordered some pizzas for an event and it was so good! Will definitely order again! Super reliable and delicious! Will try the wings for our next event for sure!
A great new addition for Northeast Ithaca, I've ordered takeout from here multiple times. The pizza is great and the wings were substantial and well cooked. The place is immaculately clean and the staff is friendly.
I thought Northeast Pizza before it had some of the best pizza around town, and I'm glad to report the same is true for the new Pizza and Bones in this location. Had my first greek pie and salad yesterday and was as good as ever. I wasn't paying attention - the 20" size is monstrous! Looking forward to trying some of their other options. Now, if only a beer place would open next door... 🤔
Quite literally the BEST pizza I've ever had. The restaurant is also extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions which made the experience all the more enjoyable.
Some of the best pizza we've ever had. Garlic knots are awesome. Great prices. Would recommend 100%.
Long weekend in Ithaca. Came across this pizza and wing place. They have more wing sauce to choose from it took me a minute to choose. Sweet chili sauce had a tiny kick. Pizza was awesome. Mark's and Salvatore's can't touch it. Will go back the next time I'm in Ithaca.
Homemade sauce and truly NY style pizza. Not like the wannabe pizzas in CT. And the place abuts a small brewery. What's better than having a tasty IPA while waiting for your tasty pizza? Not much. Note the closing times; for some days they are non-standard.
So our first experience ordering this past weekend (their first weekend open) and it was FANTASTIC! You could tell maybe someone new over the phone taking our order as there was some confusion regarding a specific menu item however, she was very nice and professional and totally understandable. We ordered take out and took 20 minutes for them to cook it. Prices are amazing. We got a Philly sub, mozz sticks and the wings to split between two which was plenty of food for us. The Philly reminded me of what you get at Pat's in philly-nice long skinny bread, perfect cooked onions and melted cheese. it wasn't sloppy at all which I hate especially when ordering out. Overall I am so happy to have a new "Northeast" pizza place opened back up in this spot has always been my go to pizza in my home town! Ohhh and before I forget they have done an amazing job renovating the location. Its beautifully done, clean bright and fresh! 5+ stars!!!!
My absolute favorite pizza place ever. I always find myself comparing other pizza, wings and garlic knots to Pizza & Bones.. let me tell you; nothing comes close! Best food & service around 💯
Great pizza! Definitely one of the best places in Ithaca to get pizza and reasonable on the price! For sure will be back regularly!
The pizza is pretty good, we had an issue that deserves a 3. We ordered a pizza for delivery and it arrived in a timely manner. We decided to order another one, after we realized we didn't have enough. The order was placed at 630 for another delivery. We saw nothing by 745 so we called. Person on the phone said there was a pizza sitting there with just a number and no address. After a some discussion, the person said they would put a fresh one in the oven for us for delivery. No pizza by 915pm so we called again. Automated message said they we closed! They stop taking calls after 9pm! UPDATE: I called for a pizza today, and since they keep records with your phone number, there was a note for a free pizza due to the mistake. This make me, once again, a happy customer, thus re-rating them to a 5!
These guys are killing it, never been disappointed ever. We order everything from lunch slice combo, dinner pizza wing combo, philly subs etc. Good people running a solid business. I see people in reviews complaining about prices like they haven't been grocery shopping in 2 years..it's affected everything HELLOOO keep up the good work friends I will happily support 😁
Wonderful people and great food. Best pizza and wings I've had in a while! Had an issue with Doordash not giving me all my items and they made it right for me. 😀 But seriously, get the wings.
My mom, daughter and I came here for lunch waiting for laundry to be done. We ordered Hawaiian slice, pepperoni slice and a buffalo chicken salad. Let me tell you it was THE BEST Buffalo chicken salad we have ever had. Everything was so fresh and crisp. The pizza was delicious too, my almost 2 year old loved it as well!!!
Great selection of slices, crispy dough, fresh ingredients, automatic 3 stars since the bathroom was clean and has paper towels. In all seriousness, great pizza shop and the owner didn’t even charge for a side of blue cheese. Definitely would come again.
Best pizza and wings bonus beer in the same place
I ordered pizza from here recently for an event and they were super easy and reliable to work with! The pizza was absolutely delicious and they are able to accommodate for dietary restrictions with different sauce options and vegan cheese. I will definitely be ordering again
Ignore anyone who rates these guys less than 5 stars. Hands down one of the best pizzas and subs in town! Everything is literally incredible!!!
FINALLY! A good pizza in Ithaca. Listen up all, I almost gave up in Ithaca pizza and wings. I was convinced that this town just didn’t know how to make a good pizza, and that the only wings available were those terrible gummy ones. Then, after passing by Northeast Pizza and Beer Co for two years, I finally stopped in. AMAZING. Unlike almost every other pizza in Ithaca, this pizza had the ideal amount of sauce and cheese. The toppings were also excellent. The wings were exactly what I’ve been searching for, crispy without being burnt. Also a quality sauce on top. The seasoned fries were also phenomenal. I will be ranting and raving about this amazing restaurant to everyone I know. And by the way, their home brewed beer was also phenomenal. If you’ve given up on Ithaca pizza, I promise that there’s hope. Northeast Pizza and Beer co has the only good pizza and wings in this town. And I’m confident in that conclusion. I will be back frequently.
I don't eat dairy. I don't love vegan pizza in general, don't think it compares to cheese pizza. That being said, this place has the best vegan pizza I've ever had.
Every time I go for lunch, simple slices are excellent flavor, ready to be heated and eaten, and the staff is super friendly and helpful, no matter how busy they are.
Revamped and looking good. The food was excellent and the new bar was great. The bartender, Chris, was extremely nice and informative and new a lot about the area. Great place to go for karaoke night or wing night or trivia night. Entertaining the customer seems to be a priority here.
Our cauliflower crust pizza was great…much better than expected. We had the garlic white sauce, with sausage and onions. Also the garlic parmigiana wings. Perfect.
The first thing I noticed was a female worker cleaning the soda fountain nozzles. It makes the soda taste better and you never see enough of that. It is so important to keep those clean. It was clear they take pride in their work. The food was very good. The staff was personable and friendly. This was our first visiting. Very pleased with our visit.
Absolute perfection! I recently hosted an event and entrusted the catering to this incredible team, and they exceeded all expectations with their impeccable service and delectable cuisine. Not only did they flawlessly accommodate various dietary restrictions, but their pizza creations were nothing short of extraordinary. Bravo to this exceptional establishment!
I was originally hesitant to try Pizza and Bones in Dryden because the pizza prices seemed high relative to other places in the area. With noticing that they had just opened their Ithaca location, I decided that I shouldn't knock it til I try it. I got a small bbq chicken pizza and my girlfriend and I greatly enjoyed it. In fact, the smell of the pizza made us try a couple slices before taking a photo of it. The quality of the pizza definitely justifies the higher cost. It was also ready in 10 minutes. I decided to go back and get some sweet chili boneless wings since I had time. I wasn't disappointed by them either. I prefer a bit more crunchy texture, but they had a great flavor to them. I would highly recommend anyone to try them out. They have a variety of other items available, and I definitely want to try them out.
Great beer and a nice atmosphere. The Monday special (pizza or wings + 2 pints) is a huge draw for our group. The only problem is that it can get a bit crowded on game days (there is fairly limited seating).
Pizza was pretty decent and it came out quickly. It's just a regular small pizza place. Not sure if the bar was a part of the pizza place or some sort of a shared space. However, Korbin, I specifically spelled out my last name for you. And I will tell you, it's not Barf as it was on my recent. Level up your listening and spelling skills!
Decent food, decent value, good beer. Food: Their specials are some of the best values in Ithaca, and their cooking is consistently good. I often get the wings, which are a little limited on sauce selection, but generously sized and always perfectly cooked. Pizzas aren't mind blowing, but some of the best in town. Decor: It's basically half bar, half small pizza joint. It's fine for what it is. Service: Kitchen can be pretty slow, but they always get your order right. They usually have two servers, a young gentleman and a young lady, both are super nice.
The food was good. Got good input. Friendly owner, and friendly locals. All locals there. We were the only visitors, so that tells you something. Prices were reasonable, alcohol included. Pizza prices seemed high, but we didn't have any, so can't say it's not worth. All in all, I would go back anytime.
Found this place while in town on work. First of all, love the name...can't imagine why. Plenty of options for sauces for your wings, and could do regular or charred. Unfortunately they were out of a couple sauces at the time, but went with a Sweet Chili charred. Was around 18$ for 10 wings which is pretty high these days even with inflation, but, everything in Ithaca seems overpriced, so for their market, this is about right. Service was good & prompt. Was a couple seats available to eat inside. Wings were pretty good, hit the spot certainly, but no world beaters. Need to explore the Ithaca wing scene more, but these were a good find overall.
The wings had a slight crisp but I usually like mine crispier. The sauce was good and the size of the wings were good. The pizza was surprisingly good. It's got that regular pizza stuff. You don't come here to get that fancy stuff, you come here to get the pizza you grew up with. I would definitely say this place is good stop for casual pizza and wings
Great salads, calozones and pizza 🍕 Haven't tried anything else but I'm sure it'll be good too. Place looks like it's under construction inside , possibly expanding to suite adjacent to it, so the atmosphere is lacking. Alot of local traffic. Must be good if the locals keep coming in.
Not sure why the Ithaca location has better reviews than the Dryden location. Have gotten pizza twice at this location and extremely disappointed both time. Go to Dryden it’s MUCH better!
Pizza and wings are great, but the website and price advertising are misleading. I'd be happy to change this rating to a 5-star once this issue has been resolved-- I've noted the inaccuracies to the staff on several occasions over the course of months, and nothing has been updated: Sheet pizzas: Not served in Ithaca. They'll tell you that the Ithaca menu does not list sheet pizzas, but it clearly does for the 23 Cinema Dr location. "3% discount on cash orders": Not true. The menu prices REFLECT the 3%, therefore are only accurate if you pay in cash. In practice, you assume that the menu price is accurate, but then end up being charged 3% *extra* when you arrive. If Walmart had an item listed for 100$ and said "3% discount for cash payment," I would expect to pay $97 if I paid in cash. NOT $103 (which I only discover when I arrive to pick up the item) because I pay with a card. Wing prices: Not accurate. They suddenly started charging several dollars more per order of wings, which you only discover upon arriving for your order, via a little paper sign on the wall ("wing shortage!"). If there were a cheese shortage, it would not be okay to list a pizza as $15 on the website, but then charge $100 dollars when the customer arrives simply because you had a hard time finding cheese. We're not paying "market price" for fresh seafood, here, you know? If you want to pass unexpected costs of business onto your customers, do so up front: on the menu, in a timely manner. Thanks! Giving this feedback in a friendly way because I'm happy you're in the location, love the food, just frustrated with the marketing.
Hey Northeast! Pizza was what I would expect from any pizza place. Crust was not my favorite, a bit doughy and tough. Toppings were delicious and plentiful. Wings were good. It is a bit expensive compared to other places. Customer service was very nice! Glad we tried it but not our favorite.
I ordered 1/2 lb garlic parm boneless, and I have never had them the way they make them. I'm not a fan. Tasted like mayonnaise, with garlic and parm mixed into it, then the wings were tossed in. It was rather off-putting. Also, it was served with ranch on the side, ranch?! Will NOT order that again.
Disappointed with pizza and wings tonight. Pizza was overcooked, way too salty, with too much crust. They put peppers on wrong half, even after repeating order back correctly. Wings were overcooked, dry and chewy. Were supposed to be garlic parmesan, but didnt have any garlic sticking to them and had hard shredded gobby cheese. This was always our favorite pizza place, but this time had poor quality food that cost too much!
Pizza was fine. But when I went to pick up young man behind counter had no mask on. Two men came in right behind me - no masks. I told the worker I was surprised they did not require masks. He said he had one under the counter...duh. I looked at the two men and asked him what about them. Worker then said most people who come have them on. I will not do business with them again. No regard for safety of workers or customers.
Food is alright, be prepared to wait for 40+ mins if ordering takeouts.
Visiting from NJ so maybe this is a biased review since I live in pizza central. The pizza sauce and cheese didn’t have much taste. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a delicious plain pizza pie.
A BBQ chicken pizza should actually have chicken on it. Ours tonight had a smattering of BBQ sauce and, as you've probably guessed, no chicken. Have tried pizza here several times and have been left less than satisfied (especially given their prices) with skimpy toppings and little sauce. Have always tipped well here and at all eating establishments, but at some point, one has to move on. NE Pizza/Scale House - Please come back!!! Your are sorely missed!!!
Just like everyone else, I am given a 30 minute lunch break. .. I can not tell you how many times I have had to wait over 23 minutes to get a sandwich from here. So, in order for me to eat my lunch, it runs into my employer's time. Do the managers an owners of Northeast Pizza allow their employees to return back from their breaks late?? I highly doubt said managers an ower really give a care. Because if they did, ... This wouldn't be happening on a regular basis.
How can they be so inconsistent? I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and boneless wings. Instead all I got was a some small Styrofoam 8 piece with chicken nuggets and a box of cheese and ham soup. I should of took a picture but wasn't worth the 30 bucks I just spent let alone couldn't eat.... You would think that if a regular customer they'd at least try to get it right more than once....
Pizza beer and karaoke! Edit: Honestly the place used to be a regular haunt for me. After Jolly left (the best bartender ever) the place started spiraling. For me he seemed to be the guy holding the place together. The food is incredibly inconsistent and God forbid you order anything for delivery for the chance it won't even show up. Out of the past six times I've been there there was a problem with my order the past five including it not even getting to me. I'm really disappointed to have to change my review and find a new place to hang out. I don't think I'll be going back there.
This place is a mixed bag, great food and seemingly good customer service... just don't bother calling in your order ahead of time. They actually never even posted my order up on the make table, had to ask me what my order consisted of, then made it seem like it was just "finishing up". While waiting, I saw several couples come in and place an order- wow theirs was ready prior to mine for some reason and I am the one who called to order prior to this. My single order took over 35 minutes from the time I called them originally (I was told 15 min). Not to mention, this is the third time I discovered they shorted me on wings only after arriving home. That's bad business, not going back.
Well I ordered for the first time tonight an was surprised when I asked for bread stix an they said they didn't make them. Then I order hot wings an asked if it came with celery I was told no again. So I finish my order which included two large pizzas a calzone an mots sitx. I was given the total of 68.00 which was crazy I thought. So I wait an hour for my food tip the driver 5.00dollars he leaves. I open my pizza one of them is completely wrong the hot wings are mild. I call to inform them an they tell me they'll give me five dollars off my next order!!! There will not be another order!!!😡
Pizza smelled rancid. We’ve never experienced anything like it. Teriyaki sauce on wings tasted like fish. We spent $40 on a large pizza and wings that we took 2 bites of. So disappointing.
Food was terrible. We went with our whole family and everything we ordered was awful. Wings were served swimming in a pool of sauce, pizzas were undercooked and dough was raw, they messed up our order and tried to give us someone else’s order instead. We should have turned around when we saw all teenagers running the place. I will say the kids in the shop were nice and friendly - they clearly just have been trained well enough.
Disappointing. I’ve ordered from here twice in the past year and had the same experience with poor quality of food each time. I’ve learned my lesson and won’t be returning or recommending them. The pizza was burnt, the seasoning was minimal (I added my own), and the wings were just ok. I wish that their food was better, the location is really convenient.
I messed up the locations and sent my pizza to the Dryden location. I asked, very respectfully, if they could just make the order here to avoid the 30 min trip. The guy in charge (the owner maybe, 40+yr old) started pitching a fit instead of just being professional and saying no they couldn't do it. First time in, never coming back; I can't support people that act like that. At least Domino's doesn't make you deal with that guy. EDIT: and if wasn't clear through my review, the owner's comment solidifies this pretty well. The owner finds ways to blame the others, likes to argue, and takes no accountability for his childish attitude.
I ordered online, when went to pick it up, the staff could not find my order and only managed to say that system is not working and my order was never prepared. Never ordering from this place again.
Literally the worst sandwiches I've ever had. My kids wouldn't even eat them. Throwing pizza toppings onto a loaf of bread isn't a sandwich, and that's what you get here. Also ordered a chicken cordon blue sandwich and got ham and mushrooms on a roll... No chicken! This place is garbage. Go elsewhere.
