Staff is always nice and understanding during busy hours, especially on Tuesday where there are $1 slices. Overall good service with a great location.
Never had an issue ordering online for pick up. You can find surprisingly good deals online too, for example, medium pizzas with 2 toppings for only $8. We fed 3 adults for only $16!
Amazing service! Charlie is a legend, and always helping out and providing service. Never had a better experience from a chain restaurant before.

I'm a huge fan of this place. My order is always right and the food is always delicious! When I make my order online, they always have it ready for me when I pick it up or have it delivered. I never have to wait. Great service, amazing experience EVERY TIME. And I've been a customer for years. P.S. make an online account and you will earn points on every purchase and get money off on your future purchases.
I've never gotten someone else's order or an uncut pie here. Can't say that about 75% of other pizza shops. Staff are always nice. Greeted upon entering every time.
Very busy on a Tuesday for $1 slice day, the staff was doing great despite the rush! Shout out to Charlie and the cashier! Very rude woman in front of us threatening to leave a bad review over her wait then finally got her food that took up all of 5 boxes, not sure what she expected but they handled her negative very well! 10/10

I did a online order and made a mistake of carry out and not delivery. I called to check on the order thinking it was delivery and found out that it was not, after a couple of hours finally was able to pick up the order and the management made fresh pies for the order! YOU ROCK AND THANK YOU FOR THE FRESH PIZZAS!!!!!
Really friendly staff! Gave us free desserts and was very accommodating. Pizza is always solid. Not my favorite in the area, but a close second, especially for speed of service.

You made my day by reassuring me that I can order a mini pizza with no cheese and tons of tasty veggies without being overcharged or being given a hard time. It is also very appreciate that our family members with gluten free allergies can eat at your place because you make your own pizzas and do not cross contaminate. This is great customer service! And I was greeted the moment I walked in the door. What a treat! Thank all of you.

Papa John’s never disappoints! Every time I come in especially on $1 pizza day—the staff is always so sweet and welcoming to me and my girls. They treat us like family, and that means a lot. The pizza is always fresh, hot, and delicious. We look forward to coming back every time. Thank you for making our visits so special! 🍕❤️
I love Papa John's pizza! And I especially like the garlic sauce it comes with. It's good for dipping your crust or even pizza in. Always comes with a pepper too, some times I eat it, sometimes i don't. You get one free refill of fountain soda too if you're eating there. And they have a TV on too. Friendly staff as well.
Papa John's has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. It takes me back to my teenaged years where we would stay up late watching movie and playing videogames and then decide it was time to order pizza. Love that they are open late and deliver. Obviously not the best pizza, but at least you know that where ever you order from it will be relatively the same quality and flavor.
Kind of a whole in the wall feel, though unlike many PJ restaurants, there is a sitting area inside and outside. My only beef is we went on a Tuesday to take advantage of their $1 slice deal, but when I called they said it's best to just order when you get there, not order ahead. They ended up making whole pizzas and just cutting us slices which took 30 minutes. Granted, we ordered 12 slices, but waiting with the kids who were starving was brutal. In the past, we order and it's ready when we get there and we just eat in their room which is the best way to do it. The food is good and consistent.

Bbq chicken bacon pizza is always good. Decided to get the works and the dough was under cooked in the middle of the pizza to the point where the whole middle of the pizza stuck to the box. Then there goes the toppings. Hard to eat.
Cheap pizza but depending who makes it they always have different cheese consistency. Too much and it make it so greasy there is a shiny circle where the pizza laid in the box. Usually ready pretty quick and one of the only places that delivers to my road.
This is a pretty good location. It’s your typical Papa John’s, so nothing terribly different here. Food usually comes out on time and correct. A little on the expensive side (especially drinks—$4 for a 2 liter soda?) but otherwise OK. Tuesdays are incredibly busy because of their special ($1 slices I think?). Did you know there’s a dining room? Off to the right when you walk in. Blink and you’ll miss it.
Food and service were very good. The website needs work. Placed the order 4 times before it worked. Not sure what the problem was. My attempt to place the order over the phone was even more unproductive. If I hadn't already promised to bring Papa John's pizza, I would have made other arrangements.
I wish this Papa John’s had a bigger place!! The pizza is delicious of course, their BBQ Chicken is pretty good! Now their brownies?? Warmed up?? They got me there, I definitely recommend it. The brownie was chocolaty, a bit fudge like, a bit soft and a bit crunchy to my liking.
Always tastes great for a great deal on Tuesday. But id definitely deal with the call center and call ahead because the wait will be incredible, there's way too many people for the small restruant to feed quickly. Not really the staffs fault Most of them are polite despite the business, especially the man who I presume is the owner. One guy will treat you like cattle though, and it seems he treats his Co workers like that too.
The server I had was very difficult to understand (on the phone) due to her heavy accent. I’ m sure she was a nice person, but she was not very friendly to me. I had to keep asking her to repeat things, which made things difficult. I know that I did call on a “semi” holiday (Columbus Day) but was disappointed. Normally, the people there are very friendly and helpful, but, unfortunately, today I had a not-so-nice experience.
In the mood for pizza, so we did take out. It was good, asked for extra mushroom. I would hate to see what regular mushroom is, We did not get extra mushroom.
Stopped by and got two medium pizzas for about $14, not to bad of a price but one of the pizzas dough was still soft like it was uncooked although that one should have been double baked. The brownies I got was perfect, I highly recommend ordering because it's tasty and perfect to share! Never had any issues with the employees, delivery from here is alright as well.
I’ve always liked papa Johns but this location is really tiny and a bit dirty looking. It also kind of takes awhile for them to make stuff. But, the food is just classic my what you expect so if your ordering for delivery then it’s perfecttt. Also can we talk about how they offer gluten free pizzas?! So helpful for me.
Pizza was good, but the wings were better. Unhappy with staff member ask for a cup of ice and was told i had to pay for it. I just spent 30.00. When i first ordered there was a deal posted, but couldn't get it because it wasn't tuesday .

Every time I come here I order ahead and they have only had it out on time once. I come here after work To get food for dinner and end up sitting and waiting for over 30 minutes.
Once again another Friday foods order at 9 am for a delivery for 1115 to borgwarner. Which is earlier then the lunch hour for any hiccups.. 20 mins late and no foor 45mins late no food... lunch is over people are back to work.... cause the scheduler doesn't put enough staff on the schedule during the busy time needed.. The poor girl answering the phone was so distraught and trying make it right i dont believe we were the only ones..i felt for her she was trying... the order refunded but a dozen people without lunch... pizza was dropped off at 1205 and those people will eat late at there next break 130....
The pizza is what you'd expect from a Papa John's which is fine and I have no issues at all with that. I do have a few other issues with the branch in particular. I order online for pickup sometimes and the past 2 times I've done this an issue has come up. I arrive after the pizza tracker app says my order is ready for pickup but when I go in to get my order, it's not ready and I end up waiting. I imagine the staff is punching in tracker events early to look better with franchise metrics. I have also been kicked out of the seating area early here (before they should close that area). When asked what time the seating area should be closed, the only answer I could get out of the staff is "right now." This was 20 minutes before I know the area should be closing.
I ordered two large pizzas and the dough was so thin on them that they folded all the way to the crust and everything slid off on both. Pretty sad when a frozen pizza outshines an actual pizza joint.
I have to order ahead of time because I need 12 slices for my family (of 7) and the one time I wasn’t able order ahead of time the girl yelled at me… But today I called and waited a little bit but because I live thirty mins away I decided to stay on hold and go to the store while I was in town… I watched the guy at the counter scream at people to close the door over and over. Even if someone walked in he was ready to yell. He seemed angry and I felt bad for him. People kept calling and he kept putting them on hold saying please hold. However I was still on hold in the store. I think it would be best instead of saying please hold that you say we are only taking in person orders… so people like myself just show up and hope we don’t get yelled at… I only ordered 9 slices to make sure I didn’t get yelled at and I felt uncomfortable ordering that amount as well knowing I really should order ahead of time. Anyways I left and I decided to see if they would ever answer and they never answered and I hung up after 58 mins. he had no intentions of actually taking my order. Im a really nice person and I treat people with respect, but recently I haven’t been treated the best by the staff there and I’m starting to feel uncomfortable going there. I hope Jamie is able to see this review.
I have never had a good experience with delivery. Today, my driver dropped my food off contact free, but that wasn't how i requested it. Not a huge deal, easy mistake, My pizza was gross though and not cooked all the way. The crust was not cooked all the way. So, I plan and just cooking it more myself. In the future, I will just avoid delivery.
I try to write only positive reviews, but unfortunately my most recent experience at Papa John's is probably the last time I go back. During my lunch break, I went inside to pick up an order that was ready and placed 20 minutes previously. When my friend and I walked in, we saw four employees. There were no other customers in the store. Every single one of them looked at us and said nothing. They had maybe 4 orders on their board, and they kept working in silence. We were not greeted or acknowledged in any capacity. Not wanting to be rude or impatient-- I work in the food industry so I understand how difficult customers can be-- I gave it five minutes before I finally said "excuse me, I have a pick up order." A man finished making his pizza, and begrudgingly he came over. My time and my money are important to me; while I do enjoy the food here, I refuse to support a business that does not extend basic courtesy to its customers.
Terrible service as of late. I love the terrific Tuesday’s deal and I love the setting normally but recently there’s been terrible customer service. Upon looking at what slices were readily available this visit I asked for 4 slices total. There were two people prior to me in the store who were also visibly and vocally upset at the wait. There was one person slicing pizzas instead of getting slices for customers. Instead of prioritizing customers, they kept slicing pizzas. Shouldn’t even mention that afterwards she just threw the slices in a box randomly and set it aside for a delivery 45 minutes out. There was also a woman sorting boxes instead of getting the orders ready. Not to mention instead of putting calls on hold like they should be, the cashier was actively taking calls and not prioritizing the waiting customers. I was in there for over 13 minutes for 4 slices. The 2 customers in front of me said they were there for more than 20. Terrible service and I hope these three get fired and replaced.
We ordered a day ahead of time to be delivered. The driver finally showed up half an hour late after 3 phone calls. All four pizzas that we ordered looked like they had been in a car accident and to top it off the driver forgot to put his car in park and almost rolled into the car next to him.
Good pizza; staff works hard, but they have a hard time managing the line during high volume order times. There's not a good queue, so everyone just mills about right in front. Cashier usually is also making pizza, so it's hard to flag them down to just pick up your pizza, even if it's already made and paid for. Kind of stressful as a customer. Too bad, because they make really good pizza!
Called ahead they told me five minutes. On $1 slice Tuesday. I waited over 25 minutes. Girl who cuts pizzas has no gloves on. Noone handles food properly and safely especially using covid. It looks like its gone down hill. I'm very disappointed. I used to go there once a week alone. For 5+ years
You threw out my food with no refund after disrespecting us over the phone for hours. We waited two hours for a delivery, it never got sent out, then once you closed 2 hours after we ordered we came to investigate and was met with more disrespect and dissapointment. We were previously high paying reoccurring customers, and yet were treated with such disrespect that we may never give money to your services ever again. As someone who works in the food industry, I understand the policies and such about food; yet to go to the extent of stealing your high-paying customers food, refusing to answer their phone calls to check in on the late food, then threatening said customer afterwards? Thats the lowest a store can go. Never shal I do business with you again.
Where to start… food was delivered on time to some-else. Then food was cold 1.5 hours later. Was offered to get scammed by them again as a credit or to somehow reorder and wait even longer for a pizza. But the soda was cold… go figure. No longer my fav pizza place. Such a disappointment
Great delivery service. And very good food. The first week was. This week ordered online like last time but order never showed up and when I called the driver didn't even leave there yet and I requested it for 11:30 and when I called it was 11:45 .
Very rude employees! Kept messing up my order. Asked me to bring in my entire order back to make sure "I wasn't lying" as they said. Once I brought it in, they said that they were swamped with doordash deliveries and couldn't help me anymore. I never got reimbursed or anything to compensate for the money I spent. I used to like this location, but never again will I order from here!
I would never place any online order from this store again. They let me wait for more than two hours and only after I called them they realized they didn’t start to prepare yet. Wasting my time for two hours, I didn’t receive any compensation. Your pizza is good but your service is suck.
Ordered my pizza and wings at 6:20.. it's 8:50 and my order STILL hasn't arrived. I've called a few times, each time I'm immediately put on hold and then no one gets back on the line the first time. So I hang up and call again, immediately put on hold again, sometimes they come back, sometimes they don't. This is horrific as far as pizza delivery is concerned.
Guy at counter was unfriendly and rude. Waited 40 minutes in line and 30-40 minutes for our food. Many employees without hairnets, hats, or hair tied back. Some guy on the line yelling at a kid about boxes in front of customers.
What a mess!! This is my last time ever ordering from Papa John's!!! They NEVER can get an order correctly. I had placed an order WITH THE MGR HE REASSURED ME HE WOULD MAKE SURE MY ORDER WOULD BE CORRECT. I ordered 16 wings and an order of GARLIC PARM BREADSTICKS!! I said please also send some red sauce along with BREADSTICKS. The Mgr said-" red sauce we don't have that"! I said then how do you make pizza?? He replied " oh
The most incompetently ran location I’ve ever been to. I check in at the front and they say it’ll be another few minutes. Another employee asks me afew minutes later who I’m waiting on and they look at the shelf and find my order that’s been sitting there the entire time and tells me there’s multiple items unavailable. A true waste of time
Used to be great. Pizza still tastes great when you can actually get it. Don't bother calling, you'll just be put on hold. Delivery is terrible. I suppose Covid and lack of willing help. Sad what this industry has come to.
Waited 1.5hrs for a 30min delivery, tried calling and was immediately put on hold repeatedly. Drove down to the storefront, they were extremely disorganized and rude to customers. Claimed to be slammed on a Tuesday night, when at the time I was the only person in there, and nobody was putting pizzas in the oven. Like others have said: used to be great, but the shift manager leaves a lot to be desired. Not ordering from them again for a while. Update 11/2025: they have somehow not improved in 4 years. I put in an online order at 8:30am for an 11:45 delivery. Showed up 45mins late, almost missing our kid's birthday entirely.
Food prepared poorly and missing ingredients. Such as wings have no sauce, pizza has next to no sauce, pizza toppings bunched up into piles as well. Worst experience and pizza I have ever gotten from papa johns. Will not be using this location again.
I went to order pizza and wings for some of our baseball team. I ordered three pies individually and some wings. The person there did not tell me about their party specials and I ended up paying $ 20.00 more. Once I noticed the flyer, I mentioned to them and they wouldn’t do a price adjustment.
Ordering by phone is ridiculous. You’re sent to a call center in India where the customer service is super pushy about sales. Then, I asked for a specific pickup time and I was connected to the actual store. It’s extremely confusing. I’ll never order again.
I lost my best friend on February 28th. I wanted something comforting for dinner so I ordered a sausage pizza. I ate 1 piece and 2 of my sons had a piece. It was depressing. Thinking I paid $16 for something I could have gotten for a third of the price and actually have sausage on it. It tasted like it was in the freezer too long and never got to rise, then the lack of topping is unbelievable. I took the pick the next morning. Not something I will eat!
We tried to place an order over the phone. The first guy we had to repeat the order multiple times and when I went to ask for the price, he hung up on me. I called back to confirm that the correct info was down on our pizzas, it wasn't. I again went to ask for the price and was again hung up on. Called back a third time to ask for a price. At this point, we just said forget it. If I could give a lower rating, I would have.
Order by calling, was told the stuffed crust with pepperoni was no longer available for $13.99, it's now $20.99, but yet it's advertised on the web site. Was offered the new thin ,cheese crust pizza for the $13.99. The pizza was horrible. The crust was like cardboard and had no flavor. There was plenty of pepperoni, but overall, could have bought a cheap $5 pizza at the Dollar store and probably would have enjoyed it more! Very disappointed for being Papa John's pizza
The last 2 times I've ordered pizza it got to me stone cold. The 1st time the delivery driver took my order across the street and walked all over the mall asking who it belongs too. He never even called me to ask where I was located " even though he had my address and business name" that time it took 2 hours to get my food. I called the store and zeik ended up telling me he would give me 50% off my next order. Do I ordered again last night. They told me it would be 30 min.. well it ended up being 1.5 hours and my order was stone cold AGAIN. Ugh. I'm over ordering from there. They need to get it together.
It was half an hour after the estimate ready time and my pizza was still not delivered, so I called to inquire its whereabouts. Was put on hold and ignored. I redialed, only to find out that they ran out of the topping -- which is fine; it happens. But what really irritated me and prompted me to write this review was the fact that they didn't notify me at all, despite having both my email and my phone number, and told me nonchalantly after I called them that my number was invalid so they didn't reach out. Yes, the first four digits of my number does turn out to have a pattern, but it is a valid New York phone number. Regardless, I feel like if the order was paid for with a valid credit card, the least they could have done was attempt to call me, but I got nothing. Had I not reached out, I was left to guess when my (unmade) pizza was coming. Very disappointed with their service and I hope this will serve as a warning for others who are hungry and thinking of ordering delivery here.
The pizza was supposed to be delivered by 11:50 am. There was no text message at all and the website was saying the pizza would be arriving soon. At 12:20 pm, I felt weird and went down to the first floor whether my pizza was already delivered. Yeah, there was my pizza. I don't understand why the website says they would text me when the pizza is delivered. Thank for the COLD pizza. Will never order from you.
Tried ordering, they got lost and driver and manager chastised me for it! I am the customer! Customers should not be chastised because or employees attitudes or lies! For Sure, Missy, I will never order from you again, and I am quite surprised you have any customers left!!
The little girl on register needs a lesson in customer service and how to control her attitude. Place was busy but I ordered ahead on the app and was ignored for 15 minutes before rudely being asked what I wanted. Then I had to ask for the dipping sauces that I ordered which only made her even more angry. Don't think I'll be back for a long time after this experience
Pizza is decent but service for delivery is deplorable. It isn’t worth the frustration and Papa John’s has entirely abandoned any interest in customer relations. Just now I was on hold for 15 minutes and had to call from a second phone to get anyone to answer. Driver blatantly lied and said she redelivered a pizza but didn’t. Never again. It will be 3 hours from order to door.
Okay so you call the order and not to be racist but you get an Asian woman that can't speak English that isn't even in the store. I asked for the cheeseburger pizza and no matter what cost I want us to meet and cheese and drove down my nephew picked it up for $15 get home
I’ve never been this shocked from a food order. It’s almost like a sick joke. The refund from Doordash didn’t even justified the time I wasted. Truly unprecedented. I don’t even know how to criticize this. If there’s one thing you guys should avoid in life, it should be this papa johns store. Wth!
I specifically ordered a large pizza with sausage and black olives, but instead got sausage and MUSHROOMS! Seriously, I know the girl on the phone heard that, especially the last four digits of my phone number instead of what was on the box. Used to love PJ’s, but on a real note, you guys need to do a better job! And again, when I say BLACK OLIVES, I mean BLACK OLIVES! NOT mushrooms! Get it right!
Consistently gets my order wrong. I wouldn’t be so upset except you have to pay so much for such low quality. Food is ok, but it’s chain food. The store in Ithaca just has lazy employees and you have to check their work before you leave. Sad!
Ordered a Alfredo bread bowl as appears on their menu. They give me no bread no pasta nothing but chicken olives ? Tomato’s ? Peppers ? I call back they tell me I ordered a papa bowl. This thing is so greasy how is chicken Alfredo greasy this is disgusting told me nobody there knows how to do refunds. Basically ordered something they gave me what they wanted to cuz when I called back they said they don’t have bread bowls of Alfredo smh clearly it says cheesy Alfredo on the menu smh they put cheese they put on pizza on the chicken dinner thing they gave me like this aid a pizza 😂😅smh terrible
Attempted to place an order for delivery at Cornell. The # given apparently does NOT go to the location in Franklin Market in Ithaca. The woman was rude and argued with us about the address we wanted it delivered to and we couldn't seem to get it through her head it's a college campus. She just kept saying it doesn't show up on their list of accepted addresses, despite the fact we've had things delivered from them before. The call got dropped (or maybe she just hung up). A call back from us got the exact same results. Argument over the address and call terminated on her end. We will NEVER be ordering from Papa Johns again. - We want to talk to someone AT THE ACTUAL LOCATION where the pizza is being made and delivered from, not some clueless corporate call center.
Ordered 2 hrs ago. Food is still not here. Nobody wants to eat stone cold pizza.
TL;DR: Came for $1 slices on Tuesday, everything went wrong. They lost my first order, then forgot to put two slices in my second order, then I ended up paying $23 for 8 slices of pizza. Suddenly it became very bad. I've ordered here a few times and all was good, but today I made an order, the cashier wrote it down and put the paper right near the desk with my name on it and every position of my order! He asked me to wait for 7 minutes because pepperoni wasn't ready. I patiently waited for 30 minutes and many people after me made their orders. After half an hour I kindly asked another cashier (the first guy disappeared) where my order was. He told me that he knows nothing about my order, and we tried to find this piece of paper near the desk. Unfortunately, our struggle wasn't successful, I guess this paper disappeared with the cashier. I ordered again, but different flavours, because their board was full and they weren't making any new pizzas and were selling only already prepared. Almost immediately I got my new order because all pizza was already cooked. And that was the worst part because it cost me $23 for 8 pieces during $1 slices Tuesday. My bad that I didn't get the receipt because I trusted them. At home I found out that they gave me only 8 slices when I ordered 10 slices. I'm not sure if they forgot slices or just screwed me over on purpose but it was definitely not the $1 slices Tuesday. The pizza was great though, loved its taste. Will not be returning. Also keep in mind that the place is small, crowded and noisy, almost no seats available
Guy canceled my order because he said he did not feel like driving g. This was 11/26 and I asked him why, he proceeded to get a violently rude tone over the phone. When I asked for his name he hung up on me. I like Papa Johns better but Domino's from now on. They treat their customers with respect. I was told I might get a refund in 48 hours, but no one gave me any more information . I called customer service, the lady was nice but clueless. Will have to probably challenge on my AMEX. Thank goodness AMEX cares about customer service!
If I could give zero stars, that would be too many. I placed our order, waited in the lobby of the hotel for 1.5 hrs, and no one showed. I called the store, they said it has been delivered. So obviously they are eating my pizza and enjoying my tip. This is the most ridiculous operation I’ve ever seen. I will never order Papa John’s again. I know it’s just this store that sucks, but corporate needs to do something about this trash
I placed a delivery order at 4:55pm, it's 7:35pm and I agreed to cancel because the manager said the order had already been sent out, yet I received nothing. Multiple drivers waited for extended periods of time at the store before giving up. At the same time that the manager told me that the order had already been given to a delivery driver, a new driver had accepted the order and was waiting at the store according to the Doordash tracker. The manager said they're really busy (clearly) and people had called out but at a certain point they should have the discretion to stop accepting orders that they can't fulfill in a reasonable time.
This place has started running downhill, I'm not sure who the manager is but poor customer service, as well as when I ordered a Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust pizza and the dough is still raw and not fully cooked, the pizza you pick it up and it just falls apart because their is no bottom crust on the pizza. Just overall ordered 5 times and still isnt getting better. I would highly avoid ordering or placing any deliveries from this Papa John's. Absolutely disgusting and a waste of money!
Ordered delivery. They said it was delayed. Waited 2 hours, still no delivery and then they cancelled it. No phone call. No nothing. Waste of time and space. This place should just close.
Ordered pizza and 2 hours later the delivery person said that they left it outside my door did not knock or text and now my food is cold and it’s been sitting outside on concrete. I will never order from you again. The last time I ordered it also took two hours and at least that delivery person knocked out my door to deliver the food.
Placed an order, was told it was $29.67 by customer service, go into the store to pick it up and the went up to almost $40. I order the same thing every time I come here and it’s even less than the $29.67. My order always ran at $28.62. How come I come to pick up my order the price doubled?
Placed online order at 10:30 am scheduled to be delivered at 12:00 waited until 1:40 and I called them and said the door dash person left with my food. Never got my food.
