Came here for an early dinner and Sumo had great food, generous portions and a friendly staff! The service was super fast as well! Definitely the best hibachi in the area and worth making the drive to from surrounding areas.
This was my second time here. First time I did the Hibachi. It was fun, entertaining, but a little pricey (about 20-30 dollars a person), Second time went we just did the dining. Went on a Friday night at 6pm with no reservations and got right in. Decor is amazing and they decorate for the season. Very welcoming environment and people are really nice. We even got "hot towels" to wipe our hands. That was new for me. They have pretty big menu and saw nothing kid friendly, but the prices are really reasonable. We got the fried calamari - absolutely amazing. I am a big see food eater and love Asian inspired dishes, and this was by far the best fried calamari I've ever had. For dinner I got the Tiger Roll and once again, the best sushi I have ever had. My wife got fried rice and it was also great. It was very fast too, didn't take more than fifteen minutes. Even after all that, with great food, the bill only came to $30 which is great for two people at a nice place. I will be going back more often to dine-in eating.
Delicious drinks, delicious food, a great atmosphere, and an excellent hibachi experience! There isn't anything bad I could say about this place. The staff are kind and helpful. Our waiter did a better job getting a group photo of us than I've seen from members of my own research group!
I really enjoyed the food and the experience for going the first time on this afternoon day. Definitely worth it wish I tried it sooner. I recommend if it's your first time going definitely have the food cooked in front of you, pretty awesome time. I was able to try the chicken, steak, and shrimp all fantastic and not spicy. The fried rice and the noodles with vegetables was excellent. Great food, great atmosphere, nice place and people.
Fantastic! We frequent this restaurant because of the excellent food, polite and efficient service, and pleasant atmosphere. If I had one negative it would be that I wish you got the noodles when getting takeout hibachi. The sushi is always fresh and the lunch specials are an excellent value. So lucky to have this restaurant in the area, we love it so much!
Great Japanese food with hibachi and nice atmosphere.
I love their sushi rolls! And my friend enjoys getting the hibachi dinner, which you can order when not at the hibachi table we found out. I prefer not sitting at the hibachi tables because of the noise and it's hard to talk with the people you go to eat with but the food is really great and the service has been really good. Even getting the hibachi and sushi for take out has been good!
Try the Hibachi seating! It's lots of fun and the chefs are so talented. Just the best food, nutritious and tasty. the portions are a perfect size. I had never had the salmon, and trying that this week, found that the portions included two average size fillets seared and cooked well on the flat top, perfect with the chicken, veggies, rice and noodles. The cost is not inexpensive, but the food is incredible.
Very strong and delicious mixed drinks!!! 2 person scorpion bowl is amazing!!! Me and wife went for 2 year anniversary and had a great time with great service and delicious food! Best sushi ever. Highly recommend for special occasions!
Sumo is always really yummy! They’re quick, easy, and fresh. The staff is also nice. I once placed an order online and ordered the wrong thing. I called ~20 minutes later and they were still happy to adjust my order for me, no problem. This is my go-to sushi place in Ithaca!
Great food and wonderful service - can't recommend it enough!
The food is amazing taste wonderful. The service was absolutely awesome. The chef who cooked our meal was absolutely enjoyable and was funny , entertaining and definitely well worth it. My family definitely enjoyed ourselves and will return again and again. Drinks were definitely worth the money.
Visiting from Boston I have to admit I was absolutely shocked to find such beautiful sushi in Ithaca. Fresh and delicious, lots of different options, and very reasonably priced. I am now a fan 😎
Came here for my lil mini vacay birthday weekend. Overall, good experience. Our chef made us laugh n put up a good show. Food was very well seasoned, and meat was tender. Not too many options on dessert menu. Service was good.
Mom got the chicken katsu and I got the dynamite roll. Both were excellent. The gyoza appetizer was also very good. Good portions for the price. Fast service and I like the call buttons since the tables are up so high.
This is a neat spot for all ages and a range of occasions! Enjoyable for a fun birthday or even a business lunch. Don't be afraid to pick one of the hibachi options with more than a single protein. Several of the appetizers and even their soups give the main entrées a run for their money at times due to how deliciously they can tend to hit you just right!
Always the best!! We love the fire roll but will always try their specials too. Best sushi and pan fried gyoza around.
We had the Sushi Boat dinner for 2 and it was delicious. I wasn’t sure if it would be enough food for us but it was perfect! And a great presentation. Very fresh fish. I recommend it!
We love eating at the Hibachi! Food fresh & cooked just right. They are fun & friendly! We go here a few times a year!
My favorite restaurant of all time. The food is simply amazing, with the greatest sushi and hibachi I’ve ever had! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the owner was amazing and kind, gifting us some amazing shrimp appetizer! If you haven’t gone, go now!
This is an AMAZING sushi and hibachi house, I got a couple pieces of sashimi and the steak and chicken hibachi. To start, they gave soup AND a salad with a super tasty dressing that is definitely homemade. The sashimi was sooooo fresh and yummy and perfectly temped. The steak was super tender and the chicken was sooo good, the sauce that the chicken was in was to die for. Also, their fried rice was amazing. I honestly wish I lived in this city so I can try more of their sushi! Also also, the portions were huuuge!
Dining out with my children is typically stressful due to their food allergies, but the people at Sumo made my dinner more enjoyable by being so accommodating. They ensured that the kids' food was made in a separate area as to avoid cross contamination with dairy, egg, and fish. The kids' food came out exactly at the same time as our hibachi chef was done making the food for our table! Everything tasted amazing and I would surely return next time I'm in Ithaca! Thank you!
It is wonderful and joyful place to have yummy sushi and the best service in local area, highly recommended.
Recently moved to the area and took my partner here for their birthday, and we both left full and eager to return! Generous portions, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, welcoming staff... You definitely get what you pay for, and Sumo is definitely going to be a recurring visit for date nights.
Great, attentive service. We loved everything that we ordered, especially the octopus appetizers. Sushi was fresh and delicious! Unfortunately a couple that was not so nice was seated next to us and ruined our experience, but it did not detract from our enjoyment of food and service! Thank you!
I went here for dinner with a friend and we would definitely go again! We fell in love with the Octopus Ball order (not pictured). On top of that, we ordered the Chicken and Salmon Hibachi Dinner Combo. Chicken was a little drier than I liked (might order another meat next time), but the salmon, fried rice, and shrimp were delicious. Service was also great.
It was my first time at Sumo, and I already know I have to return. I got two speciality rolls, which had shrimp and mango, plus another which was called crazy tempura. I thought I wouldn’t enjoy the mango and shrimp roll, but the mango sauce complimented the cool shrimp perfectly. Additionally, the crazy tempura roll had everything a seafood lover would want fried. It’s warmness caused a smile on my face. The dinner was well priced and the ambience was nice. The only thing I didn’t like was the waitress who seemed to hawk over us for the bill, while we were still talking.
My first time visiting Ithaca, and I came to Sumo . The environment is great, I had sushi and hibachi . Everything is tasted amazing. The service was excellent as well. 👍
I have lived in the area all my life. Never knew about Sumo until one of our daughters invited us to eat together there. What an experience. Totally enjoyed the chef KIKI, as he prepared our meal in front of us. I interacted with him and it made tge experience even more enjoyable. We had enough leftovers to take home for another meal. Everything we had was delicious. Definitely will be going back.
Based on other restaurants in Ithaca, the food was delicious. Service was excellent. Had the Chahang with beef. Tasty. Pan fried dumplings are a must for appetizers. My daughter comes all the time. Will come again.
This was my first time dining at Sumo, what a pleasant surprise!! From the interiors, atmosphere, service and quality of the food, overall I had a wonderful dining experience. The Fantastic Roll was soooo good, I took my time and savored each bite. The Tonkatsu Ramen with fried tofu was deep, rich and savory. Overall I recommend Sumo highly!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
If you are seeking to enjoy dinner with family or friends in Ithaca, I highly recommend this establishment, particularly for its hibachi cuisine. Due to my shellfish allergy, I cannot consume Chinese food; however, this restaurant provides delectable fried rice that is prepared without oyster sauce.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the sushi was here! They had an Eel avocado that was great. The peanut avocado was something unusual but delicious and I loved it. The spicy tuna was good, nothing special. The soup was very good and you get a salad at lunch too. This was very well priced and service was excellent. I’d definitely go back and recommend
Love this sushi restaurant! Great food excellent sashimi. Super friendly and polite staff. Love the atmosphere. Quality napkins, straws, and chopsticks. Big liquor and sushi bar. Love looking at the huge fish at the entrance and the artwork on the walls in between the private booths.
Place was beautiful. Gorgeous interior with a nice fish tank. The crowds were very large with college students but the wait wasn’t bad. Restrooms were clean. Waiter placed us at the hibachi table gave drinks but the cook never came out after 45 mins we had to find someone to actually cook. Sushi was very fresh and tasty and very well priced. Only a tiny bit of soy sauce given for two sets of rolls unfortunately. The duck rolls were gross. The sauce on it tasted terrible. Hibachi was ok.
Great food at this unassuming place! Loved the food and the fast service here ! Ordered a variety of dishes from the menu and everything came out perfect! Chicken Karage - Japanese Fried Chicken was very tender and the batter was really light ! Must order here Soft Shell Crab - A fried crab over a bed of lettuce and an amazing bang bang sauce ! Don’t hesitate to ask for an extra serving of the sauce it’s delicious! Vegetarian Gyoza - Really well made and really good vegetarian option ! Lobster Tempura Roll - Really well made roll that was finished in a jiffy ! Rocky Roll - Again really well made and portions are good ! Chicken Donburi - Chicken and Egg Omelette on a bed of rice and veggies ! It was different but really well made with less spices! It also comes with Miso Soup which was really delicious! Japanese Fried Rice - Not too dry , not to saucy just the right amount of everything! For drinks , the Hot Sake was really good and we ordered 3 large for a group of 4 and it was delicious! Overall , if you are in the area then it’s a must visit for your sushi and Asian food cravings !
My husband and I love this place for sushi. I can't speak of their hibachi because I haven't tried it. But we enjoy the calm Sumo atmosphere, and every time the sushi has been fresh and delicious. Pictured is our "Love Boat for Two," which is always elegantly presented, and the delicious shrimp tempura appetizer. We also like getting the sushi lunch special if we want a quick take-out lunch, which is a fairly good deal with enough sushi, salad, and miso soup to get full for $15 a person.
Excellent Japanese food close to downtown Ithaca. They have an extensive menu and beverage options too! The service was friendly. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the hibachi section but something to look forward to. The parts that I did observe the patrons seemed to be enjoying the show. Definitely worth eating here!
Had low expectations but pleasantly surprised. The sushi is very good for a non-coastal location. Kitchen entree was also good. Service, not amazing but we also went close to closing time. I would definitely recommend if you know good sushi and will be back to try the Hibachi.
My favorite sushi place in Ithaca -- we're long-time customers, and the staff have always been warm and friendly, sometimes even providing free drinks and add-ons. Service can admittedly be a bit slow, but this is mainly the case at peak hours. The sushi itself is the best we've had in town: I've had friends, students and professors all swear by it. My wife tells me that the non-sushi offerings aren't so impressive -- so I stick to the fish! As is the case with many seafood places, there are occasional fluctuations in fish quality, but I've almost never been disappointed.
The food including sushi is prepared well and tasted fresh to me. The service is a bit lackluster, but the wait staff tries to be responsive if you flag them down. Good for a quiet lunch with a friend or business associate if you're willing to ask for what you need.
I really enjoy eating here. Occasionally the service is slow but I wouldn’t say that’s typical. Hibachi is fun and the regular dining areas are great too. They have even accommodated my large, rowdy group of friends by giving us a private dining room. That’s a win-win for both sides! Definitely eat here.
I had a great time eating this food. It filled my 5-ft 7-in humans belly quite nicely, with little room left to spare. The value is there with the food, and price ratio is favorable. Just hope that when you go, the server is in a good mood. 😏😳 This is the $13 salmon teriyaki bento box, which also came with my chosen miso soup. I am full.
I went here for a birthday party for my best friend. We did the hibachi and they cooked all the food in front of us. I was chef was amazing! The food was very delicious. At times it was a little hard to understand what they were saying, like when they asked us What we wanted for drinks and stuff, But overall was a very pleasant experience! I definitely plan on going back as soon as I can!
Solid hibachi and food choices. The coconut curry was both tasty and large portions, a definite spot to return to or to take out friends for a night out.
Went here for an early dinner. The place was kinda hidden from the crowd although it's in the business areas. The food was as great as described by one of my friends, the highlight was Sake Sashimi as it was very thick, fresh, and melted in the mouth. We also got Takoyaki, assorted rolls and chicken rice with omelette on top of it also hot miso soup which tasted so good to warm your tummy. The assorted rolls were okay and tasted different between one another even though they looked the same. The takoyaki balls were yummy and the food stuffing was perfectly fit the balls so the balls were not as empty. In addition to that, the cold water they gave was somewhat super fresh and tasted normal – I think we just went to a place with a weird tasted cold water so it saved our palate. The staffs were great and the service was fast although we sat far away from the view range of the servers but I believe they have the wireless waiter call buttons yet I don't know if it worked or not when I pushed the button. One advice is to increase the light brightness a bit so it could help some customers to see clearly and probably not getting drowsy eyes while eating, overall it was an amazing dinner experience.Recommended to try their other dishes including the Hibachi ones!
I forgot to take pics but was absolutely stuffed after lunch. Food and service was great. It's a nice place suitable for stopping in anytime. Try it if you like sushi because that's what we all had and we were very satisfied. Pricing was medium but food was well worth it.
We ordered chicken Noodles and chicken katsu. Both tasted pretty good and we all enjoyed it. The chicken noodles initially came with beef and when we pointed out the waiter just removed the beef pieces and brought it back which still had some pieces in it. Did not make a big deal about it as the service was good and everyone was having a good time. The Sangria orange soda was surprisingly delicious and my kids enjoyed popping and tasting it.
We had a great experience at Sumo Japanese Sushi and Hibachi Grill. The sushi was delightful—fresh, crisp, and clean both in taste and presentation. The overall restaurant environment met our expectations, and we appreciated the consistent Sumo branding throughout—it’s clear they’re working hard to provide a unique and thoughtful experience. Service was good and attentive. One thing that stood out was the use of portable partitions between tables; while it offered some privacy, it did make the space feel a bit cramped. Still, it was a nice experience overall, and I’d definitely go back.
The food is decent and you can get hibachi meals at the tables without being in the hibachi room. I stuck to the plain sushi rolls that were about $7 each instead of the fancy ones that are $14-17 and was happy with the spicy kami roll. The sweet potato tempura roll was okay but the tempura was undetectable. Server was nice but we ordered a side of hibachi rice and just got white rice, not what we expected and I'm not sure if she just misunderstood. It's always loud here and full of college kids, without fail. One time it was a fraternity night and they were at every table it seemed. Today we walked in and the waiting area was a mess of people. I waited trying to see if there was a list of names to call etc but no one was approachable and we just had to wait until the room cleared out to ask for a table, but one was available so it worked out just was a stressful wait of unknown in a crowd of people thinking we'd be overlooked. It's a solid place to go though for sushi or hibachi for what else is available in the area though if you don't mind noise and a small wait.
Out of state, visiting, 2 kids and my wife. Had bad experience with food with the other Asian restaurant. Thought this one will be better and read the reviews. The waitress seemed like she didn’t like her work. Food was OK. Service could be way better. Felt like I went to eat at a restaurant in Russia or North Korea.
Not bad, not great. Good value in calories per dollar, but quality is the compromise. The service was nice, and the place is spacious, with the chef doing a decent basic hibachi show, the kids were mildly entertained. What else can I say? Well my mother always told me...
Honestly, more for the show than the taste. The chicken breast was not marinated beforehand and the fried rice had just eggs. Love the fire show, but for the dinner set price of over 30$ per person, was expecting better food. Love the chef who did the tricks though, was a fun night out with friends.
Service was fantastic. Atmosphere was good, exactly what you would expect. We did the hibachi and the show and food was good. Only thing I’m wondering about is on the receipt it already had a gratuity figured in then asked for more. I did leave a little extra but was confused. Overall a good experience everyone in our party had a good time.
While the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, unfortunately, the dining experience was marred by overcooked salmon and shrimp. I ordered the hibachi salmon and shrimp. The salmon was dry and lacked the delicate texture expected, while the shrimps were similarly overdone, leaving them tough and chewy. Despite the flavorful seasoning, the execution failed to showcase the quality of the seafood. Disappointing overall.
Atmosphere is nice. Was seated right away. Didn’t take long to get food. 🍱 Sushi was good. Hibachi wasn’t bad, but was dry and lacked flavor. Not a bad place, but have had better.
“Barely there” flavor…the salad, the soup, the vegetables, etc. Everything felt like it was watered down and if was cheap, I’d get it…but it wasn’t. We had 3 hibachi meals, so I can’t speak to the sushi.
Before writing this review I took the night to sleep on it because it's a mixed review and maybe just the signs of the times. So first and foremost, this was not my first visit. Sumos is one of my favorite places to dine. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious, if it wasn't I wouldn't have been there last night, period. The food last night: amazing! 5 stars ⭐️ the service, however, 2 at best. In deep thought and conversation with my friend I stopped the waitress to order my son his meal, not thinking fully about where I was I accidentally asked for sweet & sour chicken and the waitress literally scolded me for my error. While I understand it may have come off offensive it was NOT ON PURPOSE. It was an honest mistake on my part and I apologized but I also didn't need to be scolded nor have subpar service thereafter . People need to show a bit more patience's with one another in general, not every instance is a direct message to you in a negative way. I, on my part, wholeheartedly apologize for my error, but I didn't deserve that and I'm questioning if I'll return in the future. It made an already challenging moment that more difficult, considering the disrespect I've seen by other patrons there being loudly obnoxious, my minor error paled in comparison. Final thoughts, amazingly delicious food, ok service on this day, maybe the next visit will be better ( we all have bad days).
This place used to be a fast paced environment until they changed the front desk staff. It is the slowest service right after Chipotle now. Usually when you placed an order for pick up and arrived at the front desk, it was given to you within 2 mins. Terrific service! But it seems like things have changed, the old staffers who used to provide efficient service, are no where to be found. They never really had a long line, until the changed. Now it stretched to the door on most days.
Today was my second time eating here and let me just say that the bad service started from the hostess. She took us to our table and just tossed the menus on the table and left. Whatever I ignored that. I ordered my food for my party of 2 and me. Well what ticked me off was the check being brought to the table without even asking for it. My sister wasn't even done or was I. However this waitress thought it was fine. I found that very disrespectful. I felt rushed and literally kicked out because there was people waiting to be seated. Okay I get that for a restaurant this size they should consider adding more tables. I was a waitress myself and never did I do that to any of my customers. I didn't like the service , so therefore tip is only given upon good service. Well this waitress ran to me as I was leaving demanding her 18% . How she demands her tip , but also demands me to leave in the middle of me eating. NOPE NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE.
We had a bad experience at this place. The quality of the dishes is very low. We ordered teriyaki (salmon and chicken). The salmon was over cooked and dry. Both dishes were soaked in the sauce which was not impressive. The same about the noodles. I didn't try it but my son couldn't finish it. Sushis were ok, not impressive as well.
I was visiting Ithaca on vacation & decided on this restaurant for my birthday dinner. I was happy with my sushi, but unfortunately my friend didn’t share my good experience; an unpleasant ingredient made its way into her food: metal. They deducted her dish from the bill, but metal in food has a certain way of completely ruining your appetite. I have a major sweet tooth and suddenly wasn’t in the mood for any birthday dessert 🥲 won’t be back
Placed my order at 11:45, and didnt get it till 12:19. I get you have new workers, but could you move alittle faster at lunch time. My food wasnt even hot.. so I imagine it was just sitting there. Edit:Same thing has happend today. Its not busy. Its been over 30 mins since I placed the order. I do not recommend ordering take out from here.
terrible service and attitude, called to confirm the hibachi service, the women who answered the call says that couldn't understand what i am saying, wasn't the restaurant name "hibachi"? She ignored me and hang up the phone. We tried to celebrate there so called again, she picked up and directly hang up when i spoke. What's wrong with this place, and how did they train their employees without even letting them knowing what the restaurant is providing service to?
I was here on 2/12/25 at 6:30 pm the sushi was very good the chef at the Hibachi table was the most ignorant person there were only me and a coworker at the table ,he only put eggs and soy on the rice it was so salty we couldn’t eat it , the noodles we didn’t ask for but were the same and salty , the scallops were raw the shrimp was over cooked . The guy threw cold pieces of broccoli at me when when I wasn’t even looking . We did not eat any of it but I paid $94 for that crap, I gave a $5 tip for the waitress the worse place I have ever went to Stay away no rating
One star is still too much. Won't be back. The food was mediocre and the prices were outrageous. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely appalling restaurant. If I could give negative stars, I would. Staff constantly forgot dishes and sashimi made members of our party extremely sick with various cases of salmonellosis and norovirus. Staff was impatient and did not provide water refills to some members of our party. The restaurant charged a mandatory tip of 18% while providing bad service, arguing with us about clearly missed items, and preparing meats that were not fresh. Do not come here if you want to enjoy your meal experience.
Took my girlfriend out for a nice birthday dinner. They barked at us as soon as we were seated for our order and then proceeded to bring out our salad, appetizer and meal all within 5 minutes. Noodles were cold. Then right as we were eating they began vacuuming carpet 6' from our table. Shortly into our meal check was thrown on table by random lady and no words were exchanged and no desert was offered for my girlfriends birthday. This was at 9pm when they closed at 11pm. Neither of our waters were refilled the whole time and they were empty the when our appetizer arrived. I had to track someone down for a doggy box and I just let the desert thing go and paid my bill, 45$ for two people. I left a 10% tip bc the service was god awful, should have been 0% and our server had not been to the table since she took our order. I may add we were one of only two tables in the whole place and they had plenty of staff lingering around. Then our server returned to our table as we were preparing to leave, she asked if everything was good and I began to tell her no because we had no water and were not offered any desert, she cut me off and prompted to tell me that I could not leave until I upped my tip from 10% to 15% when she had not come to refill our drinks or offered any desert. I have been coming here for years and always had a normal experience for what you can expect working with non fluent English waitresses, but this service was so horrendous and there are no included gratuities on their receipt. This was straight up theft. They have decent food here but they do not understand how to treat customers, and seem to go out of their way to disrespect two well dressed college kids having a birthday dinner. The service was so outrageous for my girlfriends birthday that I thought to write this review and I will not be returning to the petty larcenists in the future.
The whole experience was awful!!! The hibachi side of the restaurant was freezing cold. They did not have sweetener for the tea. They made us move to another hibachi table to accommodate a large party. The clear soup had no flavor, but it was warm. The rice and noodles were ice cold right off the grill. No show from the hibachi cook. A guy in an unrelated group at our hibachi table had to special order food from the kitchen and they forgot to fix it until we were ready to leave. Bill was as expected but the food and service definitely was not worth it.
Disappointed, reservation at 8:30, sat us and made us wait for around 30/40 before chef arrived. No drinks or nothing. Order came in, she (waiter) forgets to tell the chef that my husband has allergies and they cook all together and still charged for food that he could not eat. I ordered sushi as an appetizer and came almost at the end of the meal, who wants that after rice and stake? I ordered hibachi rice without egg and guess what? My rice was cooked with egg and then they brought me rice from the kitchen not hibachi as I ordered. Food wasn’t bad but if you can’t attend to tables and be fair with people that come to your restaurant don’t have a business. No refills where ever brought up and they still got their $40 tip from my check since we were 9 (3 adults and the rest kids) people. I will no be coming here again, they chose to lose a customer than remove an $18 dish from bill that we didn’t get. As you can see in picture, shrimp was being cooked at same time.
I ordered a pork katsu don. Instead of getting what I would think is a donburi, I get a mountain of flavorless food. The dish has a rice base with a salad that is baked in between the hot rice and some pork katsu omelette concoction that makes the pork katsu completely soggy and have a mushy texture. Every bite I was hopeing it would get better but I was just getting a boring bite each time. People normally don't finish their food because it might taste bad or something else is wrong with it. But today I learned that people can also not finish their food because the food is so boring to eat you have no desire to eat anymore. Everything else like the sushi is ok (I had the American dream and it was a really weird flavor). The prices are pretty bad for what you're getting and yeah just go to oishii bowl for better Japanese food
Food was mediocre. The yakisoba was really wet, and the sauce tasted like yakisoba sauce but the dish needed much more sauce for the amount of food there was. The sushi was was also mid. Especially the American Dream, the mango was way too much and drowned out the taste of everything else. The miso soup was also a little bit too light. You would expect it to have a somewhat respectable price, but NOOOO, it was more than 25 per person. The price could not justify for the mediocrity. This is just not a good place to get japanese food around the school, even for American standards
