Totally rad... we were greeted right away walking in the door with how ordering and tasting works, there was an upper patio, and lower outdoor seating with views which was awesome. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich and you REALLY could tell the difference in "Farm to Table" food. incredible - and the cook brought it out to us and asked afterwards how it was. it's obvious they take pride in what they do and enjoy doing it... highly recommend for food, drinks, and atmosphere.
I was pleasantly surprised coming here as I unfortunately haven't enjoyed the few I have visited thus far. They have a good variety of alcoholic ciders from dry to sweet , even one aged in a whiskey barrel. I personally loved the fragaria and a growler ended up coming home with me. I like tart ciders and this one hit the spot with a nice strawberry finish. But I really enjoyed all the ones tried and across the four of us we hit most of the dry and tart ciders. They also arw farm to table and work with additional farms to curate their charcuterie boards and store. I highly recommend it if you like ciders.
We recently visited the finger lakes region and stumbled upon Finger Lakes Cider House. It's amazing - the location is idyllic, the ciders diverse and delicious, some of the best food we had on our visit, and the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. The live music Friday night was wonderful! Definitely recommend and it would be one of my first stops if I'm ever back in the area!
Such an amazing place!! The food was organic and a lot of it is grown on site. The cider selection is HUGE, and there is something for everyone. As a non alcoholic option, the ginger bear was amazing!! On Friday nights, they offer live music and barbecue, which gets super busy but is worth it! The barbecue includes vegetarian protein options! We stayed in the airbnb on the property and found so much to do that we never wanted to leave!
The food was excellent! Highly recommend the pesto grilled cheese. Nice set up with indoor and outdoor seating.
This place is an absolute gem! The cider selection is phenomenal—so many unique and delicious options to try. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship that goes into each bottle. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. It is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the day. The food was a pleasant surprise—fresh, local, and perfectly paired with the cider. Whether you’re a cider enthusiast or just looking for a great spot to unwind, Finger Lakes Cider House is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!
The food was delicious! I had a grilled sausage sandwich that was perfectly seasoned and grilled. The cider selection was extensive and so well crafted that I left with three bottles- the rose and the honey cider.
One of the highlights of our trip to the Finger Lakes. The food was amazing and we loved the cider and the shopping. Great ambiance and had an great time. Highly recommended and would definitely go back!
The man who greeted us also helped us with all of our questions. So very patient with us. Very knowledgeable about products and processes. Polite, friendly, warm smile. Beautiful view down to the lake as well. Thanks so much!
This place deserves 5 stars! Wonderful destination for a group of friends, a family outing, or even a date. Food was delicious, service was good. Dylan, the bartender, works incredibly hard and still manages to be friendly, helpful, and seems genuinely interested in explaining their processes and drinks to customers. If I lived closer, I would 100% join their cider club for the perks and for the visits to the location. If you're in the area, don't miss this spot!!
There is a wide range of ciders and whites here that are absolutely fantastic! Make sure to also order food because every meal I've ever had there is excellent.
Great selection of local meats, cheese, cider, spirits, and more. Also, cider tastings and great, farm-to-table food.
A wonderful place to visit. Not too many places are open mid day during the week, so that by default makes this a must-see. A huge number of drink choices makes sure you'll never have the same flight twice. Friendly staff, great choices in their gift shop, etc etc. If you're in the finger lakes...make the trip!
This is a can't miss spot on Cayuga lake for anyone who likes hard cider. They have a vast selection and very friendly staff. I went with a group of both people who enjoy cider regularly and those who rarely try cider and everyone found something they loved. They also have a very good (non-alcoholic) ginger beer.
vegan review: this place is a gem! service and staff are wonderful, the location is scenic, and for our bachelorette party of 15 there was plenty of space to sit and lounge at picnic tables or in the grass. i’m so grateful that, when trying to get more food than *just a salad*, since that was the only vegan option, i asked if i could have a side of sourdough and they gave me a bunch of slices and even helped snag some vegan toppings! i told someone that i was eating it with the cumin garlic black beans and she got the chimichurri and pico de gallo which were PERFECT additions to my beans & toast idea. it all paired well with the farmer’s salad. i’d been excited for the bahn mi (which i saw on the menu in one of the google maps photos, but wasnt on the menu anymore) but everything i got was amazing and made up for my lack of a vegan sandwich option. — i just hate that as a vegan my only options are to eat a pile of lettuce or have to pull sides together so i can have a full meal. the salad here was HEARTY though and they clearly put a lot of thought into everything they make. got a growler of the young cider as well and it was delicious! very light & juicy with a tiny bit of bubbliness from the fermentation. good if you want something refreshing that won’t put you under the table — it has a low alcohol content.
We visited Finger Lakes Cider House twice in July. The cider here is unbelievably good and the have a wide selection of ciders to task. My wife and I tried a dozen different ciders (and bought a few to bring home). The farm to table sandwiches and salads were delicious. We ate outdoors one day and indoors the other day - pleasant experience in both cases. Highly recommend this place for anyone in the area. We visited several cideries in the area and tasted some at the Farmers Market and Finger Lakes was the best!
We tried a flight of suggested ciders, plus the delicious GF creamy tomato soup and the chocolate pie with caramel sauce. All the food was tasty, the dining room was charming and had great views of the surrounding areas (including grazing sheep). Brought our kids and was still a perfect stop on our road trip
This truly is farm to table with such a diverse choice of food. The pork sandwich is over flowing with a large salad filling the plate. The tomato soup is unlike any I’ve had. So many flavors. The staff are friendly and outgoing which always leads me to believe that they are treated well by the owners.
I'm very happy my wife and I chose to stop at the Finger Lakes Cider House! Their cider choices are all delicious and the food is incredible. I definitely recommend the blueberry grilled cheese 😋 all their food is farm to table as well as organic and you can tell by the quality of the meals 😁 the staff is also very friendly and helpful, we will be visiting her again for sure 👍
Best hard cider we ever had. The Young Cider is phenomenal!!! Wish we would have bought a car off it to take back with us. Our bottle we took did not last long. Worth the drive and time to visit.
A very special place. Great cider and beautiful farm. Locally/responsibly sourced, high quality ingredients in food and beverage. Always take anyone visiting here. 10/10
Nice little cider house with champagne-y like ciders (some were very dry tasting but those are usually the best ones). We ordered some sandwiches from the bar, sorry no pictures, but the flights are a great idea to order when you want to try a bit of everything. Watch out when going in the summer, we went there one time and ate outside and there were lots of bees flying around. But that's nothing you can prevent when there's tasty sweet apples around and crushable ciders.
What a treat!! This place is the real deal. We had two flights of cider and loved the variety they offered. The farmer’s salad they prepared was the most flavorful salad I’ve ever had, and the pesto bacon turkey melt was true perfection—great taste and crispy without feeling greasy at all. We finished with the cornbread which was served warm with two complementary butters. We tried them both but loved the cornbread as is. There are many places to stop by in the Finger Lakes, however the Finger Lakes Cider House stands out above all the rest.
An unplanned visit to the Finger Lakes Cider House was the best part of our day! The ciders and ice ciders were AMAZING and I couldn’t get enough of the brown butter tart! A beautiful scenic view and most of the staff were so kind and personable! Definitely coming back again! Shout outs to Peter for being such a sweet greeter and providing such a warm welcome! And to Vanessa for the great customer service and being so kind!
This place is amazing. So amazing. Something is different here. Everything was so delicious, so full of flavor, I didn't feel heavy full, but just right. It's hard to describe. If I lived here I would definitely eat here often. Outstanding job.
The farm tour was awesome. We were in a group so we were able to get the farm tour. The grilled cheese was delicious made with another local farm cheese. The beets were great! Some of the people didnt like the vinegarette in our group because they thought it was too tart and vinegary but I enjoyed the flavor because I like that sort of thing. Try a flight of cider to find out what you like and then you can take home a bottle. Overall, stop there and you will enjoy it! The people working there were all very friendly and helpful. I really liked our tour guide.
The food is above expectations. Farm to Table, several veg options. Their ginger beer is the bomb! Recommend.
We stopped in here for a small bite to eat and a tasting and thoroughly enjoyed both! The menu had lots of good options and the ciders were delicious. The view from the deck really topped it off as well. Beautiful establishment with a good vibe for sure. Make sure to stop here
I had toasted cheese and tomato soup, which was delicious. Cider flight was really good. Friendly service and great atmosphere.
As we were passing through we noticed this unique place! It was farm to table fresh food something Ithaca is known for, cider was delicious and they even had a complimentary strawberry patch due to not having a season they hoped for. Everyone was very polite and helpful! Such a gem!
It's definitely a 5 overall. I got stung by a Yellowjacket which slightly hindered the experience. It was a stunning setting and farm to table type menu. I found the menu options a little limiting, hence the 4*, but I loved it. I had a flight of ciders. If you like sweet and sparking the Young was my absolute favourite. The Honeoye was a distant second but definitely worth a taste. Left full and with souvenirs. Definitely recommend and definitely will return. Caution to all about the bee 🐝 problem.
On a recent trip to The Finger Lakes, this was one of our favorite places. They had delicious ciders and food and a cute, outdoor area. My husband and I shared the daily grilled cheese special which included pesto, tomato and bacon on the most amazing bread. We also had the grilled cornbread with jalapeño butter and strawberry butter. Both were absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful, making this an all-around wonderful experience!
We had a great time, as usual. The ciders are fantastic, and you can try a few before settling down to eat. The grilled cheese and pulled pork were excellent too. Fruit of the Bloom was our favorite. Dine outside if you can. Our server, Mia, gets a big thumbs up!
The food was delicious. My friend and I split the salad and grilled cheese. We loved the toppings on the salad. My friends got the pulled pork and they really enjoyed it. My friend had the gin mule and he loved it. The rest of us had flights. I really liked honeyoye and the the young cider. Next trip: the finger hazelnut baklava was very good. We loved the cornbread!
I'm so happy we stopped! This was out first stop on our honeymoon in the Finger Lakes. We will definitely be coming in a few more times before we go home. Atmosphere was great and staff was friendly. The prices are very reasonable considering the amount of work gets put into making the delicious cider and food. We really liked the "everything but the cow" cheese board. Good portion for 2 people and great variety in cheese. We will be getting a grilled cheese next time because everyone else there was getting one!
The most absolutely delicious ciders in a pristine wonderful location! I was visiting Ithaca for the first time in early October and my friend took me here to check out some of the ciders and wines. It was a great experience especially since they had live music that was super enjoyable from the comfort of beside the giant firepits! The store inside has a lovely atmosphere and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! My favorite cider was Fruit of the Bloom! I will definitely be returning to Finger Lakes Cider House soon :)
We went here for brunch on a Sunday. The brunch menu is excellent. Everyone was satisfied with their dishes. Full of flavor and beautifully presented. And there are so many ciders to choose from! There's one to satisfy every desire. It's a drive to get here but the food, drink and setting are worth it!
This was the one place in the Finger Lakes we were so excited to visit, and it exceeded our expectations! The cider here is unbelievably good, especially the iced cider. The farm to table sandwiches were fresh and delicious. We loved the outdoor ambiance and picking a wildflower bouquet for $10 was the perfect end to our trip here. Would highly recommend this place for anyone in the area.
The best handcrafted hard ciders! The items used for their ciders and food items are sustainable and locally sourced. They truly have the best selection of cider. From dry to sweet to bubbly or still. They have blends too. Their food items are always so yummy. Gotta have the cornbread! If you aren’t sure if you like cider, then try a flight!
Thank goodness we saw their signs! Tucked away a minute off the main road, this Cidery provided a special experience with their cider selection and farm-to-table eatery. Their grounds were beautiful and you can even pick your own wildflowers to take home! Will definitely be returning.
Excellent ciders, dry, sweet and bubbly. Yummy limited menu. Outdoor venue for summer evenings. The best breakfast sausage on the planet. I'm putting some in my stuffing this year!
What a gem in the Finger Lakes Region! I was out on business and decided to take the weekend to explore the Finger Lakes area. My friends from the Ithaca area recommended this place. I'm from Washington State, so I have access to well more than 100 cideries and I'm a trad. cider lover (as well as a cider maker). I can say that the cider they are making at this place is outstanding. The King of The North was an incredible dry cider (my favorite of their offerings). I liked it so much that I ordered a mixed case when I got home. The charcuterie plate made a great lunch. In all, the experience was great and extremely reasonable, making it a good value. I wish I was closer to visit more often but you can bet that I'll continue to order from afar! Visited on 11/16/24
What a treasure! A wide variety of ciders, beers & wines to suit any palate. I enjoyed The King of the North, a fruity yet dry cider that was perfection. Delicious farm to table food served in a charming bright dining area with a lovely view. The charcuterie board has a perfect mix a cheeses and accompaniments. Staff is incredibly friendly & helpful and the store is stocked with the best the Finger Lakes has to offer. Even on a frigid winter day, this place is a gem! I’m sure it’s even better in the warmer months with u-pick produce & flowers.
They have a great selection of ciders. The tasting flights are great options to try a variety of ciders before committing to a full glass. The cheese and meat board did not disappoint. Don't over look them on your next wine tasting adventure. They are nice way to add a little variety to your day.
We stopped by Finger lakes cider house on the way to Robert Treman State Park as a last minute decision and it was a decision well made! We got there right when they opened on a Saturday and by the time we left the indoor seating was full! We tried the cider flights, 2 sweets and 2 semi sweets. The young cider was a crowd favorite! Tastes like Martinelli’s apple juice! We also got the charcuterie board with mixed goat cheese and cow cheese with meats. Everything was so delicious and pairing it with the sweet apple cider was perfect. We paid ~80 for the charcuterie and the large cider flight. If you are in the finger lakes area, this place is a must try!
Came in on a Saturday afternoon and despite the parking lot being full, we still experienced quick service. The field n farm board was a great way to sample items available for purchase in the shop area, and the cider/wine flights were fantastic. Personal favorites were the Cidre Blanc (cider fermented with Riesling skins) and the Fragaria (cider with local strawberries) because they were so unique, but there are so many options that will surely please anyone.
Great spot. Really kind staff. Greeted us when we walked in and helped us out with the menu and ordering process. Great cider and apps. Beautiful outside area, also seats inside. Limited small bites menu towards close. Open later than lots of places in the area. Highly recommend. Easy parking.
This place is wonderful. Came in on a Wednesday afternoon and was greeted by a lovely staff member. Everyone there was welcoming and helpful. They have a great variety of available ciders so there is something for everyone. We had the grilled cheese, toasted cornbread and farmhouse salad. Everything was delicious, and the salad was the most beautiful salad I have ever seen! The setting is great, with indoor space and plenty of outdoor space to choose from.
A delightful gem nestled near Ithaca, offering a wide selection of apple ciders and craft alcohols — all impressively tasty and well-made. The cider tasting flight is a highlight, and pairs perfectly with their housemade baklava or other farm-fresh snacks. The food is seasonal and locally sourced, with much of it coming directly from their organic farm. You can really taste the freshness — even in their small bites and salads. The desserts are excellent too — thoughtful and not overly sweet. The rustic indoor bar has a cozy, welcoming vibe with warm wooden tones, and there’s also a charming shop featuring pantry goods, gifts, and cider bottles to-go. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommended for a casual farm-to-glass afternoon!
The place is located in the countryside in a beautiful setting, once entered we were welcomed in such a kind and sweet way, we were told all the instructions and given a menu and then we ordered cider tastings and a cheese board. The whole staff is so knowledgeable and sweet, they help you decide what you prefer and they are so patient and kind. The whole building has an alpine vibe and wooden atmosphere which makes it so cozy. I loved everything about this experience, it’s definitely recommended! They have seats inside or outside, the place is very spacious!
This place is amazing. We only planned to stop by and ended up coming back for a second day and signing up for the cider club. Every single thing we tasted was great - not one thing I wouldn’t drink. Everything from super dry to sweet and fruity - the Pioneer Pippan (crabapple cider) was my favorite, sweet and tart. The vibe is amazing both inside and out. AC in a cabin vibe when needed and Adirondacks overlooking the lake when the weather is good. The snacks were just as good! We caught the chef outside picking currants for the charcuterie boards and spoke with him in length about the property. Yurts for rent!! Pick your own strawberries. Poke at baby cows. Look out over the lake.
What a great establishment! Was able to sit at the community table which provided a great friendly atmosphere. The flight of ciders was delicious! Farm to table food was amazing. Highly suggest the pulled pork sandwich and their soup of the day. Everything looked and tasted so good. Gentleman who greeted us was fantastic. Will come back here next time I’m in Ithaca!
Awesome farm venue, cider, food, and service! Perfect and flexible flight options with a spectrum of ciders to try, something for every palate. No surprise that Honeoye is their most popular cider, it's a must-try, absolutely fantastic! Fun and unique ice ciders and apple spirits as well; ice ciders like apple dessert wine, rich and sweet, and spirits a bit stronger of course, but still a well-balanced delight. Toasted cornbread is excellent, and a great complement to a cider flight, very nice with their jalapeño honey butter. Ginger palmier is a fun little try, the ginger compliments the cider as well. Ginger hazelnut baklava is delicious, a must-try dessert item! Also pictured is their Belgian chocolate tart, which looks amazing but we had enough food already.
Finger Lakes Cider House is fantastic! A cidery with lots of fun and delicious ciders, yes of course. A beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor seating, yes. Amazing food that is made with the freshest of ingredients you could possibly imagine, YES! Everything we had was incredible and you taste the freshness, the flavors pop and everything is made extremely well. There's something so simple about the menu, yet it's also sophisticated. Based on our experience I imagine anything you get, you will be happy. You are welcomed at the door, given whatever menus you want for food and drink and then you go up and order when you're ready. You'll be given a buzzer to take to your table and you'll pick your food up when it's ready. The drinks you order will be done shortly after you finish ordering. It was pretty busy when we went, but there's a fairly large parking lot, plenty of seating and the cooks were pumping out meals at a great pace. Easy recommendation to make, so when you go, Enjoy!
I thought this was the perfect place to eat lunch have a cider tasting after a long hike. The staff was friendly and wore masks. There was alot of space to sit outside and be 6ft apart. Some good selections of food to eat and lots of cider choices. I was surprised that there were a lot of people visiting in and out of this place during covid times.
I could sit there all afternoon. Loved the atmosphere, the dish plate dahlia and other wild flower’s throughout. The OYE and Fruit of the Bloom (ginger cider) was our take home pick. We brought two bottles each. We wanted to join the wine club but didn’t like the wine club choice bottles. We prefer to specifically pick each bottle or have the ability to narrow our choices closer to our ideal bottle versus just picking dry or semi-sweet. They had hula hoops for kids, but not much on the menu for children other than grilled cheese, tomato soup and bread. The baguette with butter was not worth the price. The butter taste like it had been out of the fridge to long. Wish the BBQ was available during lunch. It smelled delicious. My kids loved the apple juice. The flavor was similar to apple juice we tasted in a cidery near Normandy.
We had a great time enjoying the food and some drinks. We tried the soup of the day-so good, the Charcuterie board, and sandwich/salad combo, mulled cider and sparkling hard cider. My only request would be one more gluten free option on the menu. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Staff was very friendly and professional. We sat outside for a bit and they started a nice fire in a couple places for people to cozy up. We love coming here every here!
The man who welcomed us at the door was so friendly and helpful! Didn’t catch his name but wanted to shout him out- he was working on Saturday, May 17th 2025 :-) We each got a small flight of cider (2oz pours) and a cheese board w/ gluten free crackers (awesome that they offer GF options!). We weren’t impressed with the flavors on the cheese board, but enjoyed tasting the different ciders 😋
Food was good, drinks were amazing Drinks came out immediately, food took over an hour. There was no warning that food would take this long, happily took money and we waited, and waited, and waited. Great for drinks, avoid at all costs for food. Unprofessional as heck.
Had a glass of cider and the Choripan sandwich. The sandwich consisted of a piece of sausage about the size is my little finger with uncooked onions and peppers on a dry roll. There was a side salad which was mostly bitter spinach and arugula. The sandwich contents fell from the bottom is the roll into my lap and the salad was inedible. All of this set me back about $35.00. There is no service since you go give your Order in line and pick it up when they page you. I can not recommend this place and will not rerun. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told they were unavailable.
Ordered chicken salad had a huge blonde hair wrapped up in it. Brought it up and was offered another dish of it to replace it as if I could eat anything after that. Never go there again
My husband and I had already been here for an hour, already bought a drink and just wanted to enjoy the BBQ. We left for 2 minutes to buy apple cider and we’re going back down to get bbq. We were forced to pay $5 each for the live music since we left for 2 minutes to buy apple cider. We truly only wanted the BBQ. Not thrilled.
