Ken's Pizza Parlor

Sunday night and around 7:00. We picked this place because of the reviews. There seemed to be plenty of cars to indicate fair amount of costumers. We walked in and found We were the only ones with lots of employees, and they didn't seem too busy. Hmm? We're really glad we stayed! Husband and I had the salad bar which had good variety of toppings with potato salad and macaroni salad. We ordered the 4 meat medium pizza on thin crust. Very reasonable on the time it took to cook it and it came straight from the oven. Pizza was better that expected. Crust not to thin, lots of sauce and they are not stingy on the cheese. We walked out scratching our head why this place wasn't pack. Maybe just the wrong time but we were super impressed. We'd go back for sure!!!

This was some of the best food I have eaten. Hands down. Im from Frisco TX and these guys cooked the best wings. I want to call the cook and ask how he cooked these wings. They were literally better than mine. The pizza was perfect. Crispy. Please keep these guys in business.

Great buffet!! Never disappointed in the food or prices. Our server, Grayson, was awesome. Best server we've had here. Very polite and friendly. He was quick to remove our plates and our drinks cups were never empty. It's service like this that will keep us coming back.

Ordered the pan taco pizza and jalapeno/pepperoni pizza and was not disappointed one bit! Service was quick and very friendly, which is what we love! Thank you Kens Pizza!

Ordered a large thin crust for pick up with basically everything on it. It was DELICIOUS! Great job, Ken's team! It takes a lot to impress me, and you honestly did.

My first visit and I’ll definitely be back. Chicken bacon ranch and jalapeño popper pizza are both delicious! Wish there was some pizza sauce for the garlic cheese bread, but I’ll know to ask next time. Thank you all!!

I’m terrible with names but I’m a frequent diner, I believe Tonya serves us every time we come in and she is working. She’s a wonderful employee and makes sure everything is just right each time… but if we happen to go on a day she isn’t there… it’s never the best. In terms of food and service. Decent but a little disappointed. I think ordering beats the buffet just because I'm a hot piza buff! Tammy was really sweet and prompt. Average sinwe atmosphere.

There's two very specific reasons why Ken's Pizza parlor loses 2 stars: 1. Even though the pizza tastes good, EVERY time I've gotten it, it's UNDER COOKED. I don't know if this is on purpose, but honestly, the pizza could use an extra 5 minutes in the oven. Or perhaps they're not baking them in hot-enough temperature. But without exaggerating, every single time, the pizza dough is very squishy and half baked. 2. As you can read on other reviews, every single time I've ordered ahead, the kids behind the counter have let my food sit, even though it's ready to go. Sometimes they're working, sometimes they're not. But multiple times, I've had to approach the counter and point to my boxes of food that are sitting on the right counter, getting cold, and they just act like it's a "silly brain fart" moment, and they forgot. However, this has happened virtually every time. Aside from these two, Ken's is one of two pizza places in Iowa Park. So it's a "you're stuck with these choices" type of situation. Does the pizza taste good when it's done right? Absolutely. Is it the best pizza you've had? No, not really. Your other choice is Pizza Hut, just down the street. While some people have negative things to say about it, there's nothing wrong with it, and it's a good alternative, if you have a bad experience at Ken's. I have not necessarily had bad experiences at Ken's, myself. Pizza being under cooked is not a big deal for me, but it was for those eating with me. And letting the food sit on the counter, yeah that irritates me, but not so much that I won't come back. I think if they tighten up their customer service, so that food doesn't sit on the counter, and they bake the pizza a little better, it could easily come up to 5 stars. But for now, I Believe 3 stars, and no less, is more than fair.

This time we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for pizza which was cold when we got it. Not delivery drivers fault. He stated he was only driver working. I felt sorry for him and gave him a generous tip and asked that manager call me. Manager did call me promptly and offered to comp next order. I realize with co-vid 19 the restaurant are taking a hit. When manager called he said they reduced staff to one driver during this crisis and he was still 10 deliveries behind. This was 835 pm. 35 minutes after closing time. He also stated over 30 plus delivery that night. Maybe to keep repeat customers keep your dedicated employees on full pay role. With over 30 delivery on a Wednesday night I think your business is doing good with all things considered. If you would have had a extra delivery person probably no complaints. Really don’t want to slam you but I just think more attention to detail is needed. I really hope things get better

Horrible waste of money and time.. waitress sucked didn't even put ice in our ice tea. We ordered 5 salad bars and two pizza's. Menu online and in store had salad price listed of 4.75 with pizza order. After checking out I noticed we were charged 7.80 per salad bar. I spoke with the manager and he argued that prices had increased. I advised him that we should of been informed of that before ordering. I explained that listing one price and charging another is called lying and false advertisement. He laughed me and said ok whatever. After several minutes of arguing with me because I demanded a refund and to speak with the ower.. he finally refunded some of the over charges. I did speak with the owner who was also rude, dismissive as he doesn't feel he's in the wrong. Salad bar was also awful all 5 of us only at part of one small salad each.

I've given this place 3 chances, and only because the community has raved about them. 1st time was mediocre. 2nd time, pizza dough was several undercooked (RAW) and cheese bread had cinnamon all over it. Almost like they turned cinnamon sticks into cheese bread. My 3rd time today, the dough was completely raw and still cold. We ordered a dessert pizza. It looked absolutely disgusting. I will never, and I mean NEVER return to this place. I will spread the word. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to pizza hut. Far better pizza and that's the sad part.

I don’t know where to start with this, it’s amazing to me this place is still up and running. They have flooded multiple times and the food is mediocre at BEST. The service here is alright. I wouldnt be suprised if this place gets shut down within the next couple years for health code violations. They need a full revamping of this place, the sign to the place is barely recongizable, it looks like garbage. The inside isnt much better, it always has this weird smell to it. That manager that works there, she always seems to have a bad attitude and overall looks unhappy to be there. Has the attitude of “I’m better than everyone else” All in all, I don’t recommend this place, everything is so over priced you might as well eat at pizza hut.
