Haven’t had McAllisters in a long time ago but I’m so glad I can be back the food was great I had the BBQ CHICKEN CRUNCH AND It was heaven on earth. Shout out to Blake for the recommendation and the great service

I’m a huge fan of McAlister’s Deli and was welcomed in a great atmosphere at this location that Blake Bryant manages. He is an amazing manager and cares for his team but also the customers that walk in that door!

I tried McAlister's Deli for the first time about 3 weeks ago and i was surprise of how good it was! I love the big beverage cups, the friendliness of the staff and the fast service, they keep the dinning area clean. As soon as someone leaves they go and clean the table for the next guest! I have been going to McAlister 4 times a week ever since my first time because i trying to eat better and the best salad for the best price is the grilled chicken salad! Its a big portion and it tastes sooo good!!! If eating healthy taste this good than iam all for it! Lol

I had my second pleasant visit at the second McAlister’s location here. I was debating if I should get the whole spud or a sandwich, and the cashier suggested me to do choose 2 of spud and sandwich. I picked the spud max and Memphian suggested by the cashier and did not disappoint. I was even suggested their new Mardi Gras cookie I happened to have rewards of free cookies to redeem for. Very filling and it was a great lunch. I rarely give 5-star reviews and this McAlister’s definitely earned it!

I visited on a late Sunday evening, and Blake and Julius were exceptionally welcoming, even though it was approaching closing time. Their customer service is truly unmatched. It made for an overall great experience, making me a happy returning customer.

I was there about a week ago, and I had some amazing service from a gentleman named Blake! If I remember correctly he was the assistant manager on shift. He made me feel extremely welcomed to coming back in. He welcomed me as soon as I walked into the restaurant and made sure that my service I received was the best I could get. I would 100% go back the next time I’m in the Dallas area!

On Wednesday, when I went to McAlister's, I was surprised to see one of the girls back. She's always there during lunch, but I haven't seen her in a while. To my surprise, she has come back and is now a manager! I always eat at McAlister's on my lunch break, and everything is always so good, from the customer service to the food. This young lady is normally always there, and her performance is outstanding. She interacts so well with the customers, making everyone feel welcome and taken care of. Not only does McAlister's pay attention to their customers, but also their employees. Good work pays off, and I'm glad to be someone who has noticed this within McAlister's.

Stopped in for lunch this beautiful Sunday. I hadn’t visited since the renovation and it looks great inside, a fresher and clean feel! The service was great. The cashier was so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with my family of 5 as we ordered. The food arrived QUICK too!! Great quality, great options, and so tasty. The jalapeño turkey crunch never gets old. And the Diet Coke, you can SEE how perfect and crispy it was. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to McAlister’s Deli today. It’s been a while since I’ve been. Wanted some soup and my daughter mentioned McAlister’s. I agreed and we Witt the one in Irving. I had frequently visited the one in Texarkana. Had forgotten how good the food was. Had the Broccoli Cheddar Soup with a Reuben sandwich. The soup was hot and hit the spot. The Reuben sandwich was so satisfying. And the service was amazing and unexpected. The restaurant manager, Mary, was so cordial and went beyond my expectations. She was inviting and treated me like I feel she would have treated a close friend or a family member. She was helpful in the ordering process, explaining to me how I could get the best bang for my buck. The restaurant appeared clean and neat. The atmosphere was pleasant and it was not crowded when we went. Therefore seating was very accommodating. I plan to add McAlister’s in Irving to my routine restaurant list and visit them more routinely, frankly because of the customer service.

First time eating at a McAlister's. The food tasted good, I was hoping the portion size would be a little bigger for cost or include a drink. But overall good. The cashier and server were especially kind and friendly.

I don't eat at McAlister's; I'm a DoorDasher and I mainly dash at night. Not too long ago, I had an order from there, but I wanted to come and leave a review because of how good their customer service is. Earlier this week and many times before, I've seen them deal with irritated customers. I rate their customer service a 5-star because I've personally heard and seen how they handle people. Just like earlier this week, a lady was mad about her sandwich and seemed to only want cheese added. Instead of just slapping the cheese on there, the young woman who I'm assuming was a manager insisted they remake the entire sandwich for her and would bring it back out. Still, the lady seemed very unpleased. This is the type of hospitality people love to see in restaurants, even if it goes unnoticed. As a dasher, I'm normally rushed off and treated with little respect, but I've never had these problems with McAlister's. I wanted to come leave a review and say thank you. We need more managers like that young lady and all the other employees at McAlister's.

This was my first visit to this location, hopefully I’ll be able to give it 5 stars in the future. Almost everything from this location was perfect! I pulled up after placing my order online, I didn’t even have to call and they brought my order out, so that was perfect! Everything in the order was correct! We weren’t missing any items and everything was made correctly. That’s even better! I ordered a couple of new lemonades. And they were really good! My 2 issues come from the bread on both of my sandwiches. It was really stale and I’ve never had this issue before. Overall, it was fine, but stale bread is never good. The second issue was with my apple sauce. Online the portion was bigger, but this is just apple sauce you can buy at the store. Kinda disappointing. Overall, the experience was a good one. Service was on point, food was correct, just a couple of things I wish were better. I’ll give them another chance!

Eating half my sandwich it was very tasty. As I began to eat the other half I took a big bite and quickly felt something tough. I realized there was a piece of parchment paper in my sandwich. Obviously a choking hazard. However, I was able to pull it out and continue eating my sandwich.

I love the food here! I order catering at least 2-3 times a week for my company. They know me by name and even anticipate my weekly orders which is amazing! But there is a staff member that has made me uncomfortable on multiple occasions. Mary the GM speaks so rudely to the staff, I almost left without my order once because it was uncomfortable. Today I made a mistake on my online catering order. I called to check on it before I realized my mistake and she was completely condescending. I don’t understand how someone who treats people that way is allowed in management. If there are any further uncomfortable interactions I may find another place for our catering even though the food and the rest of the staff are amazing.

So this is my first visit to any McAlister's Deli. Will probably be my last seeing that it is evident that they do not clean their utensils properly. My cheese in my salad had mustard all on it. I am the type that does not eat a lot of condiments and mustard is one I don't consume. The parts of the salad I did was delicious. And the employees were very kind.

I’ve been eating for like a week straight and today I’m not quite sure who was in the kitchen but the presentation of my sandwich was poorly made! I didn’t even get a full pickle and my soup? the cup is already small and whoever filled that up didn’t even give me a full cup! Very disappointed

A party of 8 people was served before me and a party of 3 after that, one of which had my same order. Now again, today, 6 days later 9/1/2024 I am waiting for my food for almost an hour after my friend got his order. He ordered right before me, we ordered the same thing down to the drink and side. The only difference was the bread.

Everything but the food was great! I am an avid Cuban enjoyer and finally got around to trying the Cuban here at McAlisters. First of all, there was WAY too much mustard. All I could taste was lower quality yellow mustard which, I know it comes on the sandwich but the amount on mine was overkill. Second, the meats were sopping wet with whatever they were sitting in and it made me bread a soggy mess. The red velvet cake was delicious but it’s kind of difficult to mess up a cake…so no points from me. Plus, I’ve had better. My wife’s salad tasted like the greens had not been washed and her chicken was cold. I don’t know much about salads, but she did not like it at all. Will not be eatting here again any time soon…

This particular review is based solely on the evening shift manager, Alex. I've come to this location at lunch and the food, service, and management are great. However, their evening shift manager needs a serious attitude adjustment and training. I ordered a McAlister's Club and my bread on top and bottom was practically missing. I addressed it with Alex and he stated, "That little part. Sometimes they don't cut it right." He proceeded to to have it remade and told the crew member make sure it's cut perfectly, because she wants it cut perfectly. I know sarcasm when I hear it. If this location desires business beyond the lunch hour, which I am sure the GM, Michael Casillas does, they may want to invest in properly training Alex on customer service.

I was so very disappointed in the chipotle chicken bacon potatoe...there was no bacon on the potato and it was a complete mess when I open the container....the bottom of the potato was burned and hard. I love the potatoes here but this was a BIG disappointment ....a waste of money

I ordered from this location a few months ago and only received half of what i ordered. Today i ordered again and yet again only received half of the order. i let the first time slide but come on two times in a row somebody is getting orders wrong or is simply just too lazy to check the bag and make sure the order is complete before sending it out.

This was my first time visiting this location & I won’t be back. The potatoe was , the soup was cold, and the cookie wasn’t fresh. The sweet tea was great. No issues with the staff, I’m just very disappointed with the food, I left it all on the table.

The portions have gotten tiny, and the process went up. The full sandwich is the size they used to sell as a pick two. Soup was cold and half sized. $9 for a tiny sandwich. This is not a full sandwich. When I complained I was told that they made them this size now. Now I have to go find something else to eat.

Definitely not my finest moment in decision making. I ordered a half of a turkey sandwich & half order of ultimate nachos as a combo meal - with a bowl of broccoli cheddar - and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. I promise y'all their broccoli cheddar soup is out of this world! I couldn't wait for this soup. Yes! It's that good. So I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment when my order arrives, my boyfriend takes it (as I was getting dressed), the driver leaves and once I make it to the kitchen to set our plates and remove our dinner from the bag I try to figure out what's wrong with my soup & mashed potatoes because they just do not look the way I remembered. Strange! Well, my dinner looked different because it wasn't broccoli cheddar soup or mashed potatoes and gravy. Yup! Just perfect! These people had one job. One job. Their job was to prepare and deliver broccoli cheddar soup and mashed potatoes and gravy BUT instead I got 2 huge containers of what looked like a meat chilli after being blended in a blender. Disgusting! Especially since I don't eat meat. Super fun! But not as much super fun as I had trying to contact DoorDash or the fun my boyfriend had when he had to contact McAlister's and then drive all the way out to the other side of town to pick up our corrected order & then back home.

Has to be the worst mcalisters in the state. Gave me half a sandwich, something was wrong with the soup. Tasted like they put something in it that wasn’t broccoli cheddar. Avoid this location.

I visited this location for a take out order recently and all of the iced tea pots were open and out for the public to see. I was surprised to see pots that appeared to not have been cleaned properly in some time and iced tea was allowed to sit uncovered on the counter by the registers while transactions took place at the registers. I commented to the staff and the young woman working the counter assured me the pots are cleaned using a dishwasher daily but the visual seems to indicate otherwise. Also, the restaurant provided hand sanitizer that was cloudy that raised additional concern. When you visit the manufacturer's website for Sterno hand sanitizer, the product picture is of a clear product. Net - I believe the City of Irving needs to review this restaurants before I will feel comfortable visiting again.

Worst food in the town. Pizza is bad. Cheese spud not cooked properly. Salas dressing was not the one we asked for.

My food was molded. I'm absolutely disgusted! After calling about it I didn't even receive an apology. I won't be back!

I am so irritated. I’ve never been here before and a coworker was talking about it so I decided to go grab something on my lunch, I get a soup and a salad. I got all the way back to work and they didn’t even give me a fork for my salad so now I can’t eat.

Disgusted is an understatement!! After calling about the mold on my food that was half way eaten before realizing(I hope I don’t get sick). I didn’t even receive an apology nor did the manager come to the phone to address the situation after asking to speak to speak with them. Will not be back!!!!

If you want your order to be correct, this isn’t the place for you. Not only did I not get items I paid for, the salad came build it yourself with chunks of lettuce to cut up yourself.

Very disappointing. I received food poisoning lettuce, a dry old sandwich, and instead of the extra honey mustard I ordered I recived no sauce at all on the sandwich. And then the employees tried to charge $1 per extra sauce on the side. I regret that I tipped a couple bucks before asking. FYI this was an app order and extra side sauce was asked for in person since extra sandwich sauce is never provided when its ordered through the app.
