Great spot for live music especially The Alien Pirate Project. Crown Royal is one of the few drinks that way over priced. The rest of the menu is 15% higher than most bars but crown is 40% higher.

The salad is a bed of lettuce, shrimp and some cheese. The shrimp are amazing, done perfectly and really enjoyed this salad. My wife had the lobster that was just so-so.

Ate lunch at the stingray today. Alan gave us good service and the seafood and shrimp burritos were excellent!

This was not where we thought we were going. Food was just okay and with the other fabulous options in this area we wouldn't go back. Drinks and food were meh and very expensive. High energy karaoke was fun to watch.

Loved the swings and karaoke. Drinks were good. Big downfall was people had to pay to sing after the party started though. Started out as a tip jar but then DJ started making people pay to sing. One guy paid $40 to sing a song. Good way to chase people away from the place. Might want to reconsider doing that.

We came by during happy hour and ordered 2 margaritas. The cocktails tasted really good (we did not order any food that’s why we only rate drinks). Service was a little bit confused - first we had to tell them that their advertising promotes the current happy hour. The waiter was convinced that it’s already over. Second we asked to pay per card. The waiter reacted super strange und we had to discuss a little bit. In the end it works ;) Outside sitting was nice. The inside looked a little bit dark.

Was going to eat but just ended up having drinks as we couldn’t get past the really loud music and horrible karaoke. Why would you think the distorted music would appeal to the average listener.

Horrible experience and impolite staff. Food and specially drinks are overpriced. Charged a 20% tip on the bill and forced us to pay it. Go to Hollbox, Isla mujeres is in general a tourist trap

I can’t say anything about the food. The vibes were only 3 stars because of the other tourists in there, not because of the place itself. Now to my experience: we realized soon after entering that it was “cash only”. We didn’t have that much with us and were sceptical but then the female waitress told us that if our bill is above 300 pesos we can pay with card. So we ordered drinks worth 310 pesos. Generally the whole time we were sitting at the bar the vibes among the waiters were off, forcing us to move to the edge of the bar at some point so i was basically sitting outside. A smile or some sort of friendly gesture was also too much to ask for. Surprise, surprise when we wanted to pay and i showed them my card all the tiny men behind the bar repeatedly pointed at the “cash only” sign aggressively like I’m too stupid to read. I told them what the woman had told me - suddenly it was possible to pay by card - but only with a bill above 500 pesos. Very interesting, considering the fact that they were more than happy to take a drunk barely-able-to-stand-American’s credit card multiple times for bills for stuff like 3 shots and a beer before that. After obviously not taking their shit, they reluctantly pulled out the magic payment terminal without even looking at me. Reading the other reviews does not surprise me at all - the karaoke is not worth it - you can sing in the streets for free and at the same time not support a sketchy “cash-only depending if we can be arsed” business 😀

Food was ok not really authentic Mexican, they charged us 2diffrent food and drink we didn't order at all,they just added to our bills and when I caught them they said oh sorry it's mistake. The difference was $25 American. I considered over priced food for two taco and nachos and one drink.Won't come back and won't recommend at all.
