We went there to get al pastor but they ran out. We almost left being disappointed but we wanted to give other tacos a try. We ordered chorizo and shrimp, they were delicious. Good service, good food, good price 😆

We've been coming here... Tonicho's, for 7 years. Always great food, well prepared, and served by an attentive staff. When convincing friends to come here I never worry that they will feel the same. Back again this year 2024. Still great food and service.

They especially made me a vegetarian meal, because it was not on the menu. Was delicious!

Without a doubt our favorite taqueria in La Gloria if not all of Isla. Make sure you bring cash, not that you'll need much be because this place is very affordable. The Al Pastor lived up to the hype. Wish we were here longer and could go again!

Ate all over the island at unique/authentic restaurants. This place stands out. We had fantastic food, service, atmosphere each time. The employees were friendly and seemed grateful we had chosen their place. We ended up going back for a second time the same week. Highly recommended!

Spectacular local place. Our server only spoke Spanish… which was awesome! Made the whole experience an adventure! Very good margaritas, and the tacos I had were the best I’ve had on the Island!

service was extraordinary! a local food joint in a side way from the main street. their service was excellent. the servers and our waiter were very helpful and friendly. they recommended food and guided us to pick the best ones. the food we ordered were scrumptious. the lobster taco was made to perfection. it wasn’t chewy rather meaty and flavourful. the fish taco was also very delicious. the arrachera pizza (skirt beef pizza) was thin crust and properly done. they also pair a homemade double chilli oil to go with the pizza. it went really well with the slices. if you are in isla- do try this joint. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We rented a golf cart and wanted to have an authentic Mexican dinner. You cant go wrong with the tacos al pastor or arrachera. Homely spot with food that packs a punch.

This was a great place for a Taco. My daughter and I stopped in for a late night snack. It is bigger than a typical taco place. They have a full bar, although, we just had the tacos.

A local recommended this spot as a go to taco joint. Just delicious, reasonably priced. Lovely service - you cant fault this place. The tacos here are genuinely better than other "best tacos on the island". I had the prawn tacos and it came with heaps of prawns and all the usual accompaniments that you'd expect. A bit further out from centro but this is the spot if you're nearby! The marquesita is a yucatan specialty and also very worth while - nutella & banana is my pick!

Our friends had queso fundido, which was to die for. They also have FREE DELIVERY, which we utilized later that night for a late dinner, because they are open until 0100!

Al pastor tacos!!! A sweeter meat. The green sauce provided some nice kick and flavor to the tacos. They deliver all over the island. Got their delivery once well staying by the marina quick and good although better if you can go sit down.

Authentic tacos and fantastic pizza at a very affordable price. Everything on the menu is delicious, I don't think you could go wrong with anything you order. Love it and will be back for sure!

This is the perfect little spot to stop for delicious tacos when you’re in the area. The restaurant was clean, the prices were very reasonable, and the food was outstanding. They offer a wide variety of tacos, and everything we tried was excellent. If you’re looking for an authentic place where the locals actually eat, this is it. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area.

Their tortas are amazing and the price is even better. Was not a fan on the queso fundido and the chips were stale but overall our experience was good.

Good food and service but, if using credit card, be aware there is service charge. Did not mind when they said it was "punto 5" i.e. .5 %. However, after paying, realized they in fact charged 5%. So, instead of service charge of 3.8 pesos, it was 38 pesos. My fault for not catching earlier but spent some time for benefit future clients explaining distinction between .5% and 5 %.

Such a wonderful experience. The staff were so efficient and patient when I asked questions about different dishes with which I was not acquainted. The owner came over in person and shared ideas about places to visit . There were 7 in our party and we received excellent service. A great family operation! Food was delicious and presented well . Staff and facility was sparkling clean . I would recommend this location for an authentic, reasonably priced meal.

Food was decent, but found some stuff a bit over priced. Lots of different options. My kids loved the smoothies. Took forever to pay for the meal though. I had to tell them 4 times that I would like to pay, the kids were getting tired and we were anxious to get going. Would not be my recommendation with the family, but otherwise seems good.

We had the golf cart and figured we would have dinner away from playa Norte area. This place looked promising. We had a parrillada of alambre (beef) for 255 pesos and most of the meat was raw. The beans that came with it were decent but nothing special. We also had the shrimp ceviche also 255 pesos and it was OK at best. Food was overall bland and not the best value. The service was also not very attentive. It took a while to get food and a lot longer to get the check.

Stopped in for dinner and we're hopeful based on reviews. Definitely disappointed. Food was bland....non of the meat had any flavor. Service was great up until the end when one of the staff hard pushed dessert. My husband had to tell them no three times.
