We went for a late brunch on the Sunday we arrived. Many businesses outside of the tourist town in the north are closed on Sunday. This terrific Bistro offers amazing brunch and serves until mid-afternoon. Bert welcomed us warmly and recommended drinks and food when prompted. My wife and friend loved their berry smoothies strawberry lemonade. I had the croque monsieur, which was terrific, and my wife had a Mexican egg dishes she truly enjoyed. We highly recommend this cozy bistro for lunch!

Our two breakfast menu choices were the steak and eggs and the eggs shakshuka. The steak was very tender and the shakshuka sauce was really delicious. The bread is homemade and light and perfect for dipping in the sauce. We enjoyed the air-conditioned dining area and chatting with the owner, who also owns Isla Burger (downtown) - voted one of the best burgers on Isla. We will be back!

The service was outstanding — they gave us so many great recommendations for things to do on the island, which really helped us make the most of our trip. The enfrijoladas and chilaquiles were amazing, and everyone in our group loved their food. Gus truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us have a great time. Au dessus des rainbow stairs, ce petit brunch est tout simplement adorable. Les gens d’un gentillesse rare et extrêmement attentionné comme j’en ai rarement vu, une cuisine délicieuse et soigneusement préparé minute, ici le moindre détail compte et ça se sent. UN INCONTOURNABLE! Un merveilleux petit bistro que nous avons découvert par pur hasard lors de nos vacances à Isla Mujeres en décembre 2025. Dans un coin retiré du bruit de la ville, ce bistro offre une ambiance détendue et relaxe, sur fond de musique jazz, dans un décor contemporain et épuré. Il comporte un menu délicieux et varié avec des petits plats préparés avec grand soin par une équipe dévouée et passionnée et ses proprios ultra sympathiques et accueillants. (Un beau bonjour de Montréal à Diana et Gustavo)! Sérieusement un des meilleurs restos que nous avons visité sur l'île. Un gros merci et à la prochaine!!

Beautiful atmosphere and super friendly restaurant/cafe in Isla Mujeres. It was hard to find clean restaurant around this neighborhood, away from downtown Isla Mujeres, and we found this gem on the second day. We had Chilaquiles and Enfrijoladas, both were very very delicious. Coffee was very good as well. Highly recommend to anyone staying near here!

The penthouse condo was everything I could have hoped for—quiet, comfortable, and ideally perched at the top of the hill with serene, sweeping views. Nestled in the center of the island, it struck the perfect balance: far enough from the busy North to be peaceful, yet still within easy walking distance of shops and convenient transportation to meet every need. The condo itself exceeded expectations in every way. Spacious and spotless, it felt more like a modern home than a rental. Both balconies offered wonderful views that I never tired of, whether sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening. Inside, everything was thoughtfully equipped: dual internet pipes for reliable connectivity, all modern appliances and furnishings, and a large, well-designed bathroom that added to the comfort of my stay. The attention to detail made it easy to settle in and feel completely at ease. Having the Bistro right downstairs was an added bonus. The food was consistently delicious, and the uniquely sourced coffee—with its bold, memorable flavor—quickly became part of my daily routine. The staff deserve special recognition, especially Melissa, whose warm and personal service made every visit feel welcoming. Her attentiveness really set the tone for the stay and left a lasting impression. Beyond the condo, it’s the people who make Isla so special. On my first trip I met Bert from Isla Burger, one of the friendliest faces on the island, and through him I was introduced to Gus, who manages Isla Burger, the Bistro, and the condos above. Gus went above and beyond, ensuring I had everything I needed from the moment I landed until the day I (reluctantly) departed. In summary, this penthouse is far more than just a place to stay—it’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and community. Whether it’s your first visit to Isla Mujeres or a return trip, this is the kind of place with the people that makes you want to come back again and again.

The owner took excellent care of us. We came looking for red chilaquiles which unfortunately they didn’t have that morning. However he suggested something else and it certainly disappoint. Omg so good! It’s very classy, great atmosphere. We ordered the strawberry lemonade and the iced coffee, amazing! My dish was the berry French toast and gosh, I have never seen a prettier dish, and I literally was almost licking my plate it was so good. We also got a couple of other breakfast dishes. I just had the “Steak & Eggs” at Isla Bistro, and as someone from Brazil who grew up eating amazing cuts of meat, I can honestly say this dish blew my mind. The steak was incredibly soft and juicy—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I asked the manager about it, and he explained they marinate the cut to lock in flavor and help it melt in your mouth—and it truly does. The dish also comes with perfectly cooked potatoes and a fresh, tasty salad that round it all out. It’s a high-protein, flavorful meal that’s absolutely worth every penny. Highly recommend!
