The place is amazing. Is perfect as a small neighborhood market but their selection of amazing take out foods is one of a kind. And their new P.A. system makes it easy to know your food is ready. Haha

The falafel isn’t quite what it used to be here in the 80’s and 90’s but the spicy hot sauce is still delicious! Be sure to pick up a painting by the artist cashier and the only place in I.V. where you can find decent Asian potato chips .

Been a few times and the food is really good. My boyfriend loves the wings and says they are the best he has ever had. Learned recently they are expanding their menu to include Italian food. Excited to try out the new menu and have heard great things about the tomato soup.

This mart also accepts EBT though they used to not, or their EBT option would be temporarily unavailable for some reason (probably want to call or check in person). I totally recommend going here!

Theres a wide selection of things which is dope but the food part is kinda mid. Its a good price for sure but I got a sand which and it was just alright.

IV deli is one of my favorite places to go for late night food and snacks! The reason I have it 4 stars rather than five is that the wait can be a bit long, and the prices are rather high. Nonetheless, their famous buffalo chicken cheese fries are a major staple of the Isla Vista diet and I can strongly recommend

Pretty good food there and there's some extra cool "items" for your adult vapor needs. It's also half mini Mart so there's snacks and stuff. The food takes a bit to come out but isn't too bad, and the owner is very attentive to most people

Great place to stop after a night out for some last minute snacks, although selection is slightly limited. The food they make there is very good, but be prepared to wait (usually about 20 minutes, unless you're the only one there, which is unlikely). Staff are very nice, convenient location, and good prices!

Anything fried you could want. The burgers and breakfast items are ok, but the fries and buffalo chicken is great. They have any sort of fries you could want, cheese fries, curly fries, buffalo fries, buffalo burrito fries, etc.

For the restaurant portion, quality of food and portion size has diminished significantly over the past couple of years while prices have gone up. Service takes forever. I used to be able to call and place an order for a burgerrito easily but now have to use the app. The app makes you pay to add on so many of the ingredients that used to be in there for free and the size of the burgerrito is like 1/2 of what it used to be. For the convenience store portion, they have been removing stock of the only things I would ever really buy from there. They used to sell Yuzu Japanese Soda and Cucumber Lemonade. But now there's a lot of empty space on the shelves.

Unless it’s a wild miscommunication, they’re going under cover as “Burgertown” selling $14 burgers not even half the advertised size. Honestly wouldn’t pay more than $5 for what we got. I can’t even say they tried to overcompensate with the sides since that price doesn’t include the cost of the side. I’d feel more confident at Jack in the Box.

They are too expensive for their shot food I tried the King Size Frie with Bacon I Tried the wing with manyo habanero sauce I tried the chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and vegetables After a couple bites I spit all my meal attempts into the trash The fries were bland, had no flavor and fat chewy The wings were nearly burnt and too crunchy. I had to bite down hard to peel the skin off the bone. The chicken underneath was hard to pull off the bone The teriyaki chicken did not have enough sauce thus making them taste dry. They were also too salty. I tried 3 different menu options All with the same result The food ends up in the trash and I ended spending too much money After my first attempt to my meal, I then have to spend MORE money else where for quality food Never eating at IV Deli again!

Terrible services and management. The manager/owner lumbers out at closing time to turn off all the TVs while there were still customers waiting inside, verbally abused one of his cashier girls also in front of waiting customers. All the line cooks look like they absolutely loath their jobs, the cashier girls lie through their teeth to get out of trouble. We waited an hour (and our order was called in ahead of time) for A ONE ITEM ORDER. WE LITERALLY ORDERED ONE THING AND WAITED AN HOUR FOR IT. Businesses like these shouldn't continue to operate for everybody's sake. The food wasn't anything phenomenal, I would only come back here if it was still operating during an apocalypse. ((AVOID AT ALL COST))

Yes, the buffalo chicken cheese fries are a staple in IV and IV Deli Mart excels at them. However, what they do not excel at is customer service. My experience with IV Deli Mart has consisted of, by far, the worst HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. On my recent delivery order, everything seemed to be going well until I inquired TWICE about where my order was (1.5 hours after placing and then 2.5 hours after placing). Then, when told that my order was "on it's way," it simply never arrived. The next day, I called to inform them that my food never arrived and they tried to put the blame on ME for "not picking up my phone" when I have no record of any calls being made to me. They made a big deal of not believing my story and that the food was recorded as "delivered" but I persisted because I refuse to waste $30 with nothing to show for it. Then, when they called me back, the guy on the phone admitted to none of the delivery drivers actually picking up my order to deliver it (therefore, it being THEIR FAULT) and coldly offered to have them remake/resend the order but didn't offer an apology for blatantly blaming me for a mistake made by their establishment. Then, if that wasn't enough, when my food was delivered, the man who delivered it tried to blame ME for "not picking up my phone" and I explained that I was never contacted and he said that he had "proof that he called [me] 10 times and texted [me] twice" but neglected to show me said proof. Obviously, there is some SERIOUS lack of communication going on at IV Deli Mart and some SERIOUS need for customer service training. Sure the food is nice when you're drunk but it is worth being treated like less than a human being? I may be a college student but I'm not an idiot.
