The food here is always great. Their chips and salsa are a favorite. It was also my daughter's 5th birthday and they sang to her and gave her ice cream. Definitely made her day. Service was timely and they were very friendly.

Stopped by for a dinner and a beer. The service was excellent. My server "Andrea" was extremely polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this establishment for dinner and a drink. And they have plenty of TV's in the bar to catch the game(s).

I wouldn’t say I am normally a Chili’s kind of person but we ended up coming here a few times after being really hungry and in the area and I have to say it’s really changed my mind. The burgers and fries were so fresh and so expensive. It was a great place to relax with a beer or cocktail while my kids ate. It’s been consistently hot and fresh food the last half dozen or so times we’ve been. I also don’t think we could afford to go out nearly as often chilies being so affordable. My husband loves the fajitas and chips and salsa.

I like to come here with my friends a lot and the food is good with great deals. Whenever I get server Maddie she's really patient with our group because we always take a bit deciding what to order. Very welcoming and great service overall

We drive about 60 miles to go eat there and somehow we always get the same waitress and the service is always good even if the place is full.

I always enjoy coming to the restaurant, one of the few restaurants left that provide a full meal at a good price. The knives have water marks, but they're definitely clean! I'm not a fan of chili or cumin, but the burgers are great, and so is the margarit chicken. We always look for the 3 for $10 or whatever the special is, and we split - enough food for us both. Indulge in the cheesecake with the money saved by splitting. The booths are big comfortable and always clean. And service with a smile. I can't eat here often enough.

Incredible service at this location! I cannot give enough credit where credit is due! Seated, order taken, and drink & appetizer brought out in all of about 10 minutes. Which is fantastic considering how many people were there watching Monday Night Football. Don't even get me started about the quality of food and bang for your buck! Located inside of a shopping plaza with a large variety of shops and food choices. The service was great and the food was on point. We were checked on several times by our waitress for drink refills and anything else requested. The hostess could use a little training. She never made eye contact, never greeted us, and never gave us a children's menu for my daughter. I had to ask for one and we couldn't hear anything she said. Not a great first impression.

So, in the context of a post Covid-19 reality, this store has served us well! Not that they didn't before! 95% satisfaction, ...most of the time! Reasonably priced, delicious food, earnest desire to please their customers! Ben (on-duty manager) handled our most recent meal misstep decisively, professionally, and to our complete satisfaction! Only 4 stars because Vince (previous manager we spoke to before Ben) mis-handled us so completely! Vince discontinued our call regarding our abominable meal the day before (curbside pick-uo), supposedly to take care of a walk-in customer, and would call us right back. After 15 min. I called back and was informed that Vince was conducting an interview and was unavailable! REALLY!! Nobody likes being lied to! Vince should look for another occupation as his concept of customer service is woefully inadequate! Thank God for Managers like Ben!

However, what's making this go from a 2-star typical experience of the chain I'm used to, to a 4-star with a 5-star in service was our server Ryan. He greeted us with genuine warmth and provided excellent recommendations from the menu. Everything you'd expect from Chili's. Food was good and our server was the best ever. The only thing is, when I came back from the restroom, the kitchen looked quite dirty ... But we didn't get sick so it's all good.

I always enjoy coming here. Service is good, and there's a self seating bar with a decent amount of tables. The house margarita is great, and they have many other great choices. They have a good "2 for $25" Meal deal, that comes with an appetizer and a Cookie or Cheesecake desert. Great location too boot!

I made a to-go order as I needed to get back to my hotel after a long day at work. The order was put together nicely and the service was quick and friendly. My only complaint was that the container of salsa was much smaller than I expected it to be. :( Everything else was great!

Chillis has improved a lot over the last couple of years, the menu is clean and trimmed down and no longer a mess, the interior flows well and the wait staff are friendly. The food is great if you know what to stay away from, the ribs still leave something to be desired they are often dry and extremely overcooked. On the whole this location is one of the better ones and I'll continue to visit here often.

We had not been to a Chili's in over 10 years and our most recent experience was similar to the past. The food was good+ and the ambience was what we expected. Our server was very young and very eager to help us. She must have come by our table at least 10 times to ask us "how are you doing?". That's not a bad thing considering the service at other establishments can be non-existent. My only knock on the evening has nothing to do with the serving staff. It's the crazy menu. It is full of dozens of pictures and tons of words making it very confusing to find what you want to eat. The prices for items are in very small font and you have to really try to find them. The alcoholic beverages do not have prices shown and when we enquired how much a glass of wine was, our server did not know at first and then said "you know, something around $6.99, maybe $7.99 for the large size". We knew this could not be right and ordered the large size since that is what we wanted. As expected, and to our amusement, the wine was closer to $12.99 for the large pour, which was completely reasonable and we took no issue. However, the manager should better prep the wait staff on the prices. It baffles me why corporate approved such a very poorly designed menu in which items do not have prices shown. Overall, a good meal. Giving it 4 stars because of the wait staff who seemed to be trying hard and were friendly.

Yep, even this foodie right here gets a craving for Chili's once in a while. It is often my sister's and my go-to given that it is quick, affordable and usually tasty. We have had very friendly service during the past couple visits. One waitress that comes to mind is Carly who was extremely attentive and sweet as could be. Often the inside of this location could be cleaner. I am particularly haunted by the children's dirty sauce fingerprints across the windows. The particular items I order are usually the fajitas with the works or the Triple Dipper apps. I appreciate the table-side machine to redeem rewards and check out at the end (particularly the option to split a bill as many which ways). You're chill Chili's.

Chili's offers tasty lunch options at special prices. We hit Chili's for lunch last week. It was not too busy which surprised us. We were well treated by the hostess and quickly showed a table. There we continued to receive attentive service. We both ordered a $10 or so lunch special which featured salad and an entree (Burger for me). The salad was not huge, but it was enough, and the burger was good. We enjoyed our experience at Chilis and we will return.

Good old Chili's! This is a good spot if you're looking for some decent food, but you don't want to sit down at a fancy restaurant or fast food. The food is pretty good, but I don't think the ingredients are all that healthy. It's predictable I will say that. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger and fries whenever I go. It's kind of funny, I always forget that this place is in the shopping center for some reason. Otherwise I would go more often. It's kind of like an Island's, but I think Island's is way better with healthier food options.

This place was clean, our server was kind and efficient, and there are plenty of tables so we didn't have to wait more than 3 minutes for our table during dinner time. We enjoyed our sliders and ribs. But the chicken avocado sandwich had no taste. We will be going back for sure though.

Service was good. Meal was good. Overall cleanliness not so good. Bathrooms had no seat covers or toilet paper. Bathroom doors very nasty and paper on the floor. Some employees seemed to be irritated at having to do their job and heard complaining about other employees.

Fast and friendly service. Food was Ok. Nothing too spectacular and moderately clean. Great place to spend with family and friends with great food and drink specials. Wonderful location, feels transported to a new town (not Goleta) feeling. Love the view of the apartments. Great birthday spot! They sing to you and give you a little something. Tip: sign up for their rewards program at least 48 hrs before your birthday and you can get a decadent dessert for your treat. 🤗

Recently dined with a friend. The 2 for $25 deal. We each had an entree: Chicken Fajitas and Sirloin Steak. We each had a Side Salad with Bleu Cheese. We each had a Strawberry Margarita. We both enjoyed our meals. Service was friendly and prompt. The total tab with tip/tax was around $43.

I am grateful to find a chain restaurant that is not a fast food chain out in Goleta. We frequent it about once a week, not because it's the best food or service, but because there isn't any competition. Average on all accounts; food, service, cleanliness, etc.

Food is the same as any other Chili's. The lunch specials offer a great value and are filling for me. My only complaint is that as of recently their wait time to get my lunch is now at 30 to 45 mins which means this no longer a viable option.

I always regret going here. The food is just mediocre and the drinks are pretty expensive for the quality of what's going in. Better off going next door to Hollister brewing and getting some good food and a beer. Service is always friendly, but the tablets that sit on the table make it almost unnecessary to have a server since you can pay on the tablet when you're done. Maybe it's just me, but I just can't do Chili's!

My kids love it. I think it's ok. Not my favorite, but not terrible either. Floors are sticky under the tables sometimes. Food is good, a good variety of choices. Service is pretty good most of the time, we have had a couple of visits with not so great service, but they were the exception, not the rule. Tables are cramped close together, chairs bumping people behind you which I hate, but the booths are a lot better situated and comfortable. They have "table entertainment" which I don't really care for, and televisions are located throughout the restaurant. I feel it's way too loud inside when the restaurant is crowded, but the outdoor seating is nice.

I generally avoid chains, and the only time I ever come to Chili's is when dragged along by a group. My better half talked me into stopping one Saturday after everything else had a line, and this one trip wasn't bad at all. We had the 2 for $25 dollar special which included an appetizer and dessert. The chips and salsa were about what you'd expect, and to be honest I don't even remember what I had for desert. The steak, however, was moist and perfectly cooked. Everyone was friendly and you can't beat the price. I may be a bit more willing to return now.

Chili's is well, Chili's. My last visit however was not as "great" as I would have expected! Let's just say there was something in the air, I guess. Food is almost always cooked to perfection (so long as the server gets the order correct) and if it's not they are happy to get it right(usually). Was a little irritated that my bloody Mary came very "naked"/none of the fixins the menu stated and my server looked at me sideways when I asked for them. She NEVER brought them either, so I had to ask the manager (she came out with a plate full).... I'll admit, we were not the most "all together" table either! We all ate and drank and I think I'll be trying the "crispers" next time.

Food was decent but you know what you're getting with Chili's. Got the 2 for $3 deal with the half rack of ribs and they were decent. Fell off the bone, tasted alright, smothered in sauce, portions were meh. Margaritas were bland but probably worth the extra $7.50, they give you like 4. Endless chips and some dank lava cake topped with ice cream to top it off. Service was competent but not incredible.

Place is way too noisy, loud music playing, service fair, food has gone way downhill from what it used to be like years ago. It’s like being in a frat house. Burger’s are cooked medium well done. Menu says that in fine print as the quality of the meat is poor, tough, fat and grizzle. Bacon on bacon cheeseburgers is paper thin, for $20 would have expected a whole lot better. Features a lot of fried chicken dishes now probably loaded with chickens raised on steroids. Miss their version of Outback’s Blooming Onion with dipping sauces. Also miss their breaded and fried zucchini strips that were really good. The platter variety with dipping sauces on the left side of the menu is pretty good for fried food. There’s not much I would call good or healthy food. Staff was mostly like college kids running around like chickens with their heads cut off and couldn’t follow instructions very well which was very frustrating. Eaten there in the last few months. It’s often noisy and packed. Was in the mood for a burger and should have gone to In-N-Out. Better quality food, healthier, faster service, get our orders right and better prices. Outside of the platter nothing I would order at Chili’s. A lot of staff members standing or running around. The staff for the most part if one could get their attention were very nice. All in all very frustrating and time consuming. Thought it would be easy and convenient as I had a long day and just wanted to sit down, relax and eat something hardy. Turned into nearly two hours of waiting and sitting around on people who mostly couldn’t follow instructions very well. There were a couple of staff members Vanessa and Tyler that were great. Straightened out my bill which had come out wrong. Very nice and helpful people. We sincerely appreciated.

Standard service, towards good, food was okay, but I was shocked about the kitchen condition. We went to bring our daughter back to college and decided to eat dinner around 8 pm. There was food debris everywhere, pieces of paper, and some other items on the floor. It won't prevent me from visiting again, as I understand they must have been really busy prior to our arrival and probably experiencing labor shortage, like many businesses in the food and the beverage industry. Hope they make a better job with cleanliness for our next visit, as we like the food there

So I've had two dinners here recently one was the barbecue enjoyed every bit of it. Brought my family back and I had the steak fajitas and it was practically inedible it was the chewiest nastiest made my stomach hurt later steak I've ever had. Could have been Alley Cat I don't know maybe neck meat it was just sinue and terrible.

Entrance was very messy with trash on the floor in the menu scattered about. We waited 5 minutes and there was no one at the front. Two staff came by and pretty much ignored us. Finally a manager came up and looked around shook his head didn't say anything but grabbed a spray bottle and a paper towel from the main reception desk walked over and came the table and then showed us to it. He was obviously very unhappy! Our waiter was fine and attentive, the portions were very large, food tasty albeit a little greasy, the mini burritos have been sitting out and reheated. Tables all around head napkins and paper on the floor. My hunch is staff didn't show up or staff left. Not a really good experience.

Classic Chili's. My bloody Mary was not very good. It kind of has the color of Kool aid. The Philly cheese steak was ok but smothered in a "queso" white sauce that got everywhere. My wife's Chicken avocado bacon sandwich was bland. I don't think the chicken was seasoned. The French fries were good with salt and pepper. There was only one server and he had his lunch sitting on a back table. Nice guy and he was trying. Would we go back? Big Maybe.

The chicken and shrimp fajitas were ok, but the place is kind of a dump. The bar area has benches that are beyond torn up, the electronic checkout machine on the table was so dirty I didn't want to even touch it, and the plexiglass between the restaurant and the bar was filthy. My corn tortillas were stale and dry and just fell apart when you picked them up. But good margaritas and great chips and salsa, although now they charge you for the chips.

Disappointed. I now spent my grandmas birthday struggling to find somewhere else because other restaurants closed. They didn’t serve us when we asked because the biggest section was closed because the servers wouldn’t serve there and my grandma is also handicapped so she couldn’t sit on high chairs. I am honestly disappointed do better please.

20 years ago Chili's use to be a lot better, but it has turned into a golorified fast food restaurant. Most of their cocktails are pretty lousy and their food, with the exception of the boneless buffalo wings, is pretty bad as well. I went here tonight with family and I ordered the baby back ribs. The meat was dry and it tasted like it was cooked, frozen and then nuked in a mircowave. The fries were terrible and tasted like cardboard. The strawberry lemonade was good and the service was OK, but I won't be back anytime soon.

Took forever to be seated because they couldn't find the host. Then when we got seated we received drinks right away but took about 20 minutes to order the food. Once the food got there it wasn't what we had ordered and the waitress was no where to be found. She finally came by when we were just about done and we told her it was wrong but didn't care because we were just about done. Ordered the cookie dessert because it came with our meal and only ate the ice cream on top because the cookie wasn't cooked at all and was super raw. Horrible experience no wonder why all the other locations have closed.

The food and drinks were great but the way it’s being run is honestly embarrassing. As a server and food manager myself I can’t help be bothered by the fact that there were close to 8 servers in the restaurant and only one person, not a server, running food. I kid you not, I was there for an hour and watched one girl wear a path in the floor from the kitchen to the bar doing nothing. I don’t know who is running that place but they need to be making people actually work. The amount of standing around doing nothing I witnessed is shameful. Cheers to the only guy in the place actually working, he needs to be given a raise or be a server because he was being run into the ground doing other people’s jobs.

Terrible and NEVER GOING BACK. We were led to a table and the floor in the entire area was completely sticky - just gross! Our shoes were sticking to the concrete floor and the whatever it is won't come off. I requested a wet napkin to clean my shoes, and the employee brought one small napkin. I then went to the ladies room (twice) to wash my shoes to try to get whatever it was off, and the ladies room sinks were clogged, there was hair on the counters and floors, and the floors were sticky there also. Whatever it is - it's not coming off of my shoes even after scrubbing with soapy hot water twice. Manager called the cleaning company and they apparently forgot to dilute their solution, but the manager wasn't able to help me solve the mess on my shoes. He then proceeded to tell me he had the sticky stuff on his shoes also. Are you serious? I should have requested a comp'd lunch but decided a review was more effective. This place is filthy - DO NOT EAT HERE!

My family and I got dinner yesterday. We then all had food poisoning the whole night and all of today. It was the only meal we ate out and got sick almost instantly. We also had desert from them, I got the chocolate cake and it was completely frozen.

If there were negative stars, i would give it to this place. This is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. First off, the place is dirty. The open ceiling is dusty and dirty. Trash and napkins on the floor. And it keeps getting worse. My wife and I get seated. As we get seated, we oder chips and salsa. 10 minutes later, there are no chips and salsa and no server. 5 minutes later, the server finally shows up. I tell him to cancel the chips and salsa, and he has a blank look on his face. He says oh I'm sorry, I forgot to order those." We order our drinks, and that also takes several minutes. Finally the drinks arrive and I tried to place our oder. But the server claims to be too busy and says he'll be right back. He finally returns. We place our order and ask to start with the Mozzarella sticks. About 13 minutes go by, and there are no appetizers. I asked the server, and he says oh I'm sorry, I forgot to order them." These are 2 items that they lost money on. The food finally arrives. My wife's Ceasar salad is nasty. Lettuce is old and soggy. And the chicken is cold and tastes days old. One bite and that was enough. My steak is cooked horrible. I ordered medium rare, and I got extremely well done. I would call it well done beef jerky. I had ordered the asparagus, and those were overcooked, soggy, and nasty. The loaded mashed potatoes were cold. They had a weird taste and also tasted days old. I took a few bites, and my stomach could not take anymore. The server never came to the table to check on anything. Nothing. When he finally did. He noticed our food was barely touched. He asked if there was a problem. I explained everything. He said that he would discount some of the food. However, when I got the check, nothing was discounted. By this time, we just wanted to get the hell out of their. We paid our bill and left. I should not have tipped the server, but I did. On the way home we had to find a bathroom. Both of us got sick. It's a shame. We had been to various locations during our travels. But based on this experience. We will never go to Chillis again.

I ordered boneless wings during my visit yesterday om 3/8/20 around noon, and the boneless wings were served lukewarm. I asked for new boneless wings, and the server took the plate to the kitchen. They brought back the same wings. They heated the wings up in the microwave and served me the same wings. I know this because one of the wings that I bite off from the first order was on the new plate of wings. The server, and bartender (who placed the order) provided unacceptable service. In addition, when the bartender noticed that my glass of water was empty, he asked if I'd like a refill. When he returned with the glass of water, he hardly filled the glass halfway. I don't understand why I was treated this way when I politely explained to the server that my meal was lukewarm. I'm not sure why any server would believe that it is okay to serve a customer food that isn't fresh or serve a cold meal that is normally served hot. That is not acceptable, and if I am paying for food, I should have a say in how it is prepared. This is the second time my food has been prepared incorrectly at this location, and I will never be coming here again.

My mom loves to eat at Chili's so we decided to go there for lunch. When we got there it looked a bit busy and we weren't really in a hurry. We were seated and ordered our drinks with the person who seated us. Then another person took our food order and we ordered from the meal for 2 deal. We tried ordering drink refills but the Ziosk wasn't registering that we had ordered drinks. The person that helped us was a different person from the two who had taken our drink and food orders. She was really nice and very apologetic. She was running around helping where needed. We explained to her that no one checked on us and we needed to order our dessert. While we waited for dessert I got up to ask the person at the bar if he was a manager and he said no. I asked him if we could speak to the manager and he asked why. I told him it was about the service and his tone turned rude. I went to sit back down and the person who took our drink order came over to tell us she thought the server who took our food order was taking care of us. I asked her for our bill which did not show the meal for 2 deal and she fixed it. We asked to speak to the manager again and she said the manager was in the back cooking but she would tell him. When the girl who was running around helping where she could brought us our dessert we asked again to speak with the manager. Right away she used her headset and asked if Vince could come to our table. We waited for 31 minutes and Vince never showed up. Before we left we thanked the girl who helped us most during this horrible experience. She is a keeper. Not returning to this restaurant.

The food is OK. The customer service is completely unacceptable. The best part of the experience was when they were theoretically fixing my bill (they overcharged me) and after returning to the home screen to refresh for the 13th or 14th time, after asking for a manager to help, they told me that I just needed to refresh the screen again. After sitting there for 20 minutes with my fidgety grandkids while they ignore us, they brought me a pen with no ink, slammed it on the table without saying anything and walked off. I would have told them I wouldn’t be back, but they don’t value their customers anyway, so why bother.

Went with my family and no one wanted to seat us. Asked for table of 8 they said to wait 30min. No prob. 1hr. Goes by and still waiting. I ask the hostess how Mich longer she said its almost ready 15min. Long story short. 15min later I asked for manager he was a completely clueless person. The restaurant had only 2 tables filled. It was empty. And he said give me 30 min. I saw the writing on the wall. So we left quietly. Embarrassed. Knowing that the all WHITE waitresses and WHITE male manager did not want my Mexican family there. I have never felt that before and hope I never do again.

Went last night a whole hour before closing and the host who greeted us right off the bat remarked "always in the last hour" clearly in a very annoyed manner loud enough for me hear.It would be understandable if we had shown up maybe 30 minutes before closing but 1 hour is plenty of time to get serviced.Maybe you should reconsider working customer service if you cant handle people coming in later in the day on a friday especially considering it is a college town.

Worst food, service and wasn't clean. The hostess was not in Chili's gear wearing a UCSB sweater. Put a family of 5 in the bar area. Not kid friendly. They seem to be annoyed by a four-year-old but they're the ones that put us in a bar area was dead not busy.

This rant is not about the food or the service it's about the filthy stupid self checkout self-pay boxes on the table, They won't let you pay with a credit card unless you use the stupid box.. You also can't get a receipt unless you give them your email address or your phone number... I do not want to give away my personal privacy and I do not want to collect germs and grease from their filthy tabletop checkout box anymore. We have blacklisted them, we will not be going to Chili's ever again anywhere.

Lady at the bar denied my daughter’s real id. I have suspicion it was due to racism.

The waitress Kathy was very rude and she laughed on our face every time the we ask for something , she wasn't polite or kind ,she give us a terrible service and some other co workers had the same experience with her honestly I love chillis but ,she os not even worth it the lunch was very uncomfortable with her attitude , and also the don't have any burgers or steaks available due a not working equipment at the kitchen

The service here sucks!!! Took over 30 minutes for the server to come take our order. No one came and checked on us at all. They weren’t even busy. When the server finally came she was rude and had no personality at all.

The waiter was busy talking with the hostess and showed up on my table after 17 minutes. Chillies used to be good but the level of service has gone down significantly

Avoid this place like the plague...my family and I would never go back to these jerks. Uncooked meats gave two of us food poisoning.recommend either the brew house next door or Jane next door.
