One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to (trust me, I've been to a lot)! In a great location, 1 block from Ithaca Commons. Tastes like Authentic Indian food! Great service!

Delicious food and a really kind staff! The buffet on Friday and Saturday is awesome and great price. I also do alot of delivery driving and they are very quick with their order prep which is very appreciated

Delicious food, and very sweet people. I got the Chicken & Veggie Kashmir (not on the menu, but they were happy to accommodate) And it was off the hook, super tender chicken & very nice flavors. Dine-in isn’t officially open, but they let folks order take-out & sit in the restaurant to eat, which works just fine. It’s a regular restaurant experience except paper plates instead of regular ones, no biggie. I asked why, and they’re having some post-pandemic staffing issues - their kitchen staff quit unexpectedly after being fully trained. Ouch! My mom got a rice pulao & naan - very tasty naan, I really liked it. Very tender, not chewy & stretchy - I didn’t actually know Naan could be this tender. I also got a chai, yum! And we got rasmalai & a mango kolfi for desert. Very very tasty. Definitely coming back. Thanks Raj & Jasbreet, y’all are the best!

I just walked past the other day and I could tell it was so good I had to leave a review.. Seriously been going there over decades, and it's so consistent and excellent, it's the only Indian restaurant I can recommend in Ithaca

The service provided by this restaurant was amazing and quick, as we were family of 9 and we had a huge order. The dine in was fantastic with good music and tasty food. Wrapped this experience with good flavoured ginger tea. Had a good time.

I cannot say enough how great NDD is. Would highly recommend for catering a huge party (they have catered for 250 for one of my events and it was perfect) or just for a quick lunch. The food is great, the people are great, overall a really wonderful experience.

Returning to Ithaca after a few years away and New Delhi Diamonds is still as good as we remembered. The staff was friendly and the food delicious. Highly recommend the Chicken Nargisi and a Mango Lassi.

Absolutely amazing no matter when you go, try the buffet on Friday if you want to explore a bit. Street side parking is rough, might be a walk before you can sit.

We're from NYC and have had lots of Indian food. I would not have imagined there was Indian this good in Ithaca. Delivery was quick, portions were big. A little pricey but I guess everything is now. I would definitely recommend.

B

Amazing food. The buffet has veggie, vegan, and meat options. Not too spicy for the timid, just great flavor with the perfect amount of heat! Plus they're open for buffet lunch again after COVID closure!

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I really liked it! I ordered delivery, so I can't attest to in person. However, the food arrived neatly packaged and ready to be enjoyed. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and the flavors were warm, rich and exquisite. I also got the garlic naan - which is a must! It has roasted garlic within it, which compliments each bite when you dip it in the sauce. The rice did arrive a little bit hard, but that could be due to the travel to get to me. Overall it was a lovely meal which made for even better leftovers the next day!

The best Indian meal I've had in a while. It's current rating on Google doesn't do it justice.

Excellent food and service. To my non-adventurous white friends (I'm looking at myself :D) I hope you'll try something that's not chicken tikka masala--I haven't been disappointed yet. My favorite now is probably the veggie korma. I have had takeout, dine-in, and the buffet here. Everything is great. I even made a (very) large takeout order once and they were very gracious about making everything convenient for us. I will be back oh so many times.

We arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday night, not having realized the restaurant closes at 9:00. Despite showing up so late in the evening, and the entire room being packed, we were quickly sat at a cozy window booth. Every other table in the house was occupied - some by a party of 15 people! We expected our server to be quite busy, but he emerged from the kitchen a few minutes after seating us, and kindly took our order. It wasn’t long before our garlic naan and curries appeared. My chicken makhani was flavorful and filled with tons of chicken. We did not want to linger long past 9:00; thanks to the fast yet friendly service, we were able to grab the check and walk out the door by 9:10. Will absolutely be back to try the buffet. Thank you again for seating us so close to closing time 🙏🏼♥️

We called ahead later on a busy Saturday night and they accommodated us as their last seating. They had a great menu and the food arrived rather quickly. We've heard they have an excellent lunch buffet and will be returning for that.

My family came to the Finger Lakes area from Cleveland for my mother in law's 75th birthday. I was looking to find an Indian restaurant to cater for 20 people and after reading reviews I decided on New Delhi Diamond. I am so glad I did. It was very easy to coordinate and responses were very prompt. He showed up a few minutes early the day of the dinner and the food was all delicious. I highly recommend and I wish we lived closer!

Buffet was the best!! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options with just a few chicken dishes today. The fried bread with chickpeas is an awesome treat if you eat gluten. Chai was sweet and classic. Nothing special about the service or atmosphere, this is all about the food.

M

The best Indian food in Ithaca hands down, and among the best I've had anywhere. Probably the only Ithaca restaurant whose food I'll miss after leaving. I've been buying from them for years, and they've never disappointed. For some time due to the pandemic they were doing takeout/delivery only, now they have dine-in service as well. Definitely recommend checking it out!

We worked with New Delhi Diamonds for catering for our wedding, and had a 5/5 stars experience. Communication with Baldev and his team was efficient, the delivery was smooth, the pricing very reasonable for the quality, the food was so so delicious, and we (bride and groom) and our guests couldn't have been happier. As locals, we would highly recommend eating at New Delhi Diamonds in person, or working with them for an event or wedding. 100& recommend! Thank you so much for making our special day even more wonderful.

This is the best Indian food Ive had in my life. So delicious, and a consistent favorite of mine. Growing up in Ithaca, my family came here most Sundays for their lunch buffet. Their food has stayed so delicious and heartwarming since. I have been saddened to see how this family restaurant has been impacted by Covid, and how they, as many others, have been forced to pivot. Unfortunately Diamond’s no longer offers table service/ dine in, so please do not come expecting a tradition sit-down meal. They offers wonderful take out, and partner with door dash and Uber eats. Please order to go!! You will not be disappointed. So much love for this amazing place!

The food was incredible! The staff was super nice and friendly! We wanted to try something new and have some traditional Indian food and they showed us how to eat the food traditionally and even told us how they make it! I’ve walked by New Delhi Diamonds for years and smelled the delicious aroma without going in, but I’m so glad I finally tried it! You should too!

We always order Indian food whenever we are on vacation. This place was the best! Generous portions, they got the level of spiciness correct, the eggplant was superior as well as the vegetable korma. The food was ready at the appropriate time and they were very polite.

The food was great! Loved the vegetable samosas, garlic Naan bread, Tikka Masala, and the Chicken Biryana! And the service from the waitress was Jaspreet! I loved this place, and will definitely come again!

We've been eating here since the mid-90s. Some of the best Indian cuisine we've eaten in the entire east cost of the U.S., from upstate NY to FL. Wonderful service, lovely owners, fabulous food.

New Delhi diamonds has consistently had lovely fresh cuisine and that has not changed with it’s takeout only operations during Tompkins County social distancing mandate. We ordered our regular feast (pictured half eaten here) and it came smartly packaged and possibly in larger portions. I would recommend them to anyone with an Indian food hankering!

I have been to New Delhi Diamond's a few times now, and the food is always excellent, and arrives quickly. The waitstaff I've encountered were all very friendly. I would recommend giving them a try if you haven't already! I recommend the Chicken Kashmiri - it is really good, and don't forget to order some Garlic Naan to go with it! Very, very tasty.

Delicious lunch buffet with tandoori chicken! My favorite! Authentic but not too spicy.. spice is definitely moderated for us palettes which I think is perfect! I would eat it every day if I could afford to!! 😋 Indian is the only Asian food I typically like outside of Asia because they don’t make everything sweet & bland like Thai or Chinese food .

I've had delicious Indian Cuisine from the menu twice now that I visited Ithaca from Albany. It has always been superb! My favorite dish is chicken tikka masala. I've tried this in several different locations but theirs is the best! Really tasty! Highly recommend if you're in Ithaca and looking for really good Indian food!

My wife, our 3 year old daughter and I all love this place. The food is so flavorful. There are so many delicious options. There is nothing on the menu that we have tried and did not love. Jaspreet (spelling?) is so friendly and treats us like family when we visit. Highly recommend to tourists and locals. They the lamb kabob curry..soo good.

Great little family run restaurant with solid menu options and a nice lunch buffet.

S
Sandeep Ranganathan

We stopped by for a quick dinner late in the night. Loved the fact that this place is open till 11 pm unlike most other places in Downtown Ithaca. While the decor on the outside seems pretty ordinary, the place is actually much cleaner than most other Indian places I've visited in a while. The owners were polite as ever and the spice levels were pretty much under control :-) I would definitely recommend this place to any tourists looking for a late night spot to grab some food

L

I like the place and the food, but I’m not going back until they turn the seizure lights out front off - holy crap. Edit: no more problem!

J

Food was great. We hadn't been there in a long time. They could redecorate, feels like a diner in there, that would be only complaint. We did enjoy the drinks, food and dessert.

R
Robert Barry

The food is great, if you can actually get served. During the hour we were there for lunch, the server turned away at least 30 possible customers because the empty tables they could have sat out were not cleaned with place settings set out for the customers. But we were seated and served, and the food was delicious.

Pretty good Indian food. Perfect for casual meal.

N

Pretty authentic food. Went there for a buffet - sadly there was no paneer dishes (help the veggies out!) The flavors for everything was spot on, and the food was only slightly salty. Chai is a must at this place!

G
Galit Mor

I would give a 3.5 for the food overall but the samosas are outstanding! And the portions are big. The restaurant was super crowded on the 4th of July and it was difficult for them to serve everyone. We ended up getting take out. We got the Alo Gobi which was not great and chickpea masala that was good, we weren’t disappointed by the level of spiciness 😀I wish they had a tofu dish and that the food be more consistance with its taste. Go vegan 🌱

N

Amazing food and atmosphere! Do try their buffet on the weekends!

M

I have loved their food for a while now. But recently the chicken specifically in the CTM has been hard and tastes off. This is why I didn’t give 5/5. Other than that they are a go to takeout place of mine.

Came here for the lunch buffet ($10.95 tax included). This place didn't disappoint. There were a lot of veggie dishes. Their fried puffs were tasty and flavorful. Taandori was done just right: spiced but aren't too dry. The kheer rice pudding was a let down because there was a kind of artificial smell I usually don't get from this type of Indian rice pudding. Overall, the service was fine. The naan refill took a while but eating warm naan made the waif worthwhile. There were only 3 servers even though it was a busy Sunday lunch. I think that more staffs would have made the service more attentive. Anyway, all servers were trying their best. So, I don't mind needing to call out to the waiter for the bill.

It took almost an hour to get our food and others seated after us were finished before we were served. Requested food to be spicy, it was not even remotely spicy. Had to request our beverages twice. The only time service was prompt was when it was time to pay. Very disappointing

My face got acne as soon as I ate the chicken tikka masala. The color is so red that I feel like it’s artificial. But the food and service were great.

I was in search of vegan-friendly food in the area and landed on this establishment. I ordered the Aloo Gobi and Paratha (without butter) to-go. The food was ready within 10 mins, or even less and it turned out to be delicious. Extra bonus points to this restaurant because you’re able to specify the spice level to your meal.

Gunjan Asher
Gunjan Asher

Good place for freshly made hot Indian cuisine. Great use of spices and tastes quite authentic. Loved the methi paratha and the sag was delicious. Restaurant is old, but the food is fulfilling.

S
Shivam Arora

The place is clean, and the service is decent. However, I was disappointed with the food. The Dal Makhni was more like a basic Dal Tadka with no butter, which was misleading. The garlic naan was below average, and the mango lassi tasted artificial. The Chicken Tikka Masala was okay, but it didn't stand out. Overall, it was a very below average dining experience.

O
Octavia Pearce

Feels like a restaurant that has seen better days. The curries and samosa were fine but the rice wasnt fantastic and the poppadoms were not good - overcooked and way too much black pepper, very different to any other I've ever had (which would be fine if they tasted nice). The atmosphere and decor inside is dated. The lady who served us was nice. You do get a good amount of food so the value is OK, just don't expect the best Indian you've ever had

R
Ryan

Amazing value for flavorful food and affordable price. Staff are attentive and very friendly. The above review was only for dine-in. Since we're in a different time now, I thought it would be helpful to give a review on their takeout service: The food is generally good. However, two things make the experience less pleasant: 1) They never put in any utensils nor do they ask you if you need any. So many times I found myself and friends with nothing to eat with. 2) The staff on the phone couldn't be less inpatient with customers. She also never repeats back to confirm orders and one time I actually ended up with a wrong order because of that.

A
Andy B

Taste is mediocre. If you get anything with mango like mango veg or mango chicken, know that the gravy is made with mango pulp and will be quite sweet like canned mango pulp tastes. If you have blood sugar you may not want it. Service also is quite slow even when it is empty.

K
Kathryn Robinson

The food here is great. I love their chicken curry. My issue is no matter how many orders of said chicken curry or meals you get they always seem to give the same amount of rice. Now, I don’t know about anyone else but if I’m ordering 2 meals and I get one large rice great. BUT I expect to get more than one large rice when I order 3-4 meals the next time. just seems a little cheap to me.

P
Patrick Cole

The food is of pretty decent quality, but we weren’t very impressed with their hospitality; the servers rarely check on your table, and don’t always bring you everything you order… sometimes you have to get up out of your seat to get their attention, and ask repeatedly for the items you ordered. It’s a shame, because this would be a nice place to eat, if the service was better.

A
Anjiya Amlani

everything about this was a three at best to be honest. ik it’s probably hard to run an Indian restaurant in ithaca but the waitress taking my order should know the name of items/understand their basic pronunciation. It is quite difficult to order an indian dish if someone doesn’t know how to pronounce, understand, or write it down to send to the kitchen. Once we struggled to order, the main entrees came out (perfectly hot and satisfying), only to then have us wait over 15 mintues for the naan(bread) to come out, that goes with the salan (curry), therefore making the actual food cold by then. This needs to be a better system or should be kept under light in the back and be brought out all together. Lastly, not sure whose idea is it to give leftovers in PAPER containers but it’s a liquid curry.. while this seems self explanatory, not only does the liquid LEAK from paper containers, it tries up and sticks to the paper, therefore making it extremely difficult to scoop out and eat, even just a few hours after! Much of the process needs work. I give it a 3/5 still because the taste of the food itself is decent, they have variety options for veg and non-veg, and the seating availability was pretty quick. Internal changes def needed though.

Shubhendu Dey

Average place to get some good Indian foods served hot. Most of the items taste same. Nothing stands out. Only the nuns are served hot. Choice of items are also quite limited. Getting a parking is the biggest trick.

Latishia Abdellatif

I want to first start off by saying I absolutely love their vegetarian dishes. I ordered chicken pakora for the first time and I was very, very disappointed. It was very dry and tough and that only means one thing, it was from left overs from a day or two ago. Freshly cooked chicken will not be dry, tough and not chewable . All they did was reheat it so I was very disappointed. I don’t know if I should let them know or not but I thought putting a review would help them, so that they don’t reheat food that they don’t use up the day they make it.

William Henderson
William Henderson

Very friendly welcoming staff. 10/10 for them. The food was maybe a 3/5 and the prices were a 2/5. The chicken Tikka masala wasn't too flavorful, it might have been sitting in a hot pan all day. The rice very delicious. Interesting to add peas to it I haven't seen that before. The portions for the main entrees were decent, but I wish they would have been larger. The Mango Lassi was delicious but it was very dissappointing to finish it in two sips, as maybe 10oz glass was filled with Ice as well. Lamb Naan was very gamey, but not too flavorful outside of that. Cheese Pakoras were delicious, but it would have been much better with some sort of cream or tomato based sauce. Great experience, but I've personally had better out of my own kitchen and other restaurants.

A
Anthony Garnets

I don’t think the food was fresh. Chicken taste microwaved. Juice was watered down, the service was great and the staff are amazing. It’s just the food was terrible! I was bloated for two days and my stomach hurt! Too much MSG please use fresh ingredients.

T
Tom H

The food was mediocre at best and the selection of the buffet was extremely limited. Only a couple of chicken dishes and a couple of vegetable dishes with only kheer as a dessert option. My water glass was never refilled, dishes were never cleared, and I was never offered any additional drink options.

J

We were 3 families , and we wanted 3 tables. The lady asked to wait us 15 min.for tables while they have already 3 empty tables.they were not cleaning tables , after long wait we were able to get tables. We placed an order for Naan, Curry, and Dal Makhani. Server brings Tadka dal instead of Dal Makhani and curry, He didn't bring Naan. After a long wait again finally he bring Naan, till then the curry was cold. The taste was really delicious and the food quality was also good. But they really need to improve their customer service.

B
Brett Scheifflee

Pretty good food and have enjoyed it for years; however, the service there has become so bad it isn't worth the trip. You will wait to be seated, that won't happen...you'll seat yourself and be ignored while the incompetent servers bumble the 4 tables they have...ten minutes later after the staff won't make eye contact, you'll leave. Tonight, wasting a trip felt like getting off easy compared to however long dinner may have taken, we spent our money else where.

V
Vijayanand

Unfortunately, It all started with bad order. We placed the order, and the person took wrong dishes. Instead of Paneer Kadhai, we got Curry Pakora and mix veg curry, we got Navratan Veg. The dishes were average, not bad but the pulav and veg biryani were really not good at all. Also, interesting part was mandatory tip for pickup order! I don’t why it was like that, so when we gave $5 (for above reasons) the girl became mad. So overall a bad experience, many things could have corrected or even simple apology would have worked.

o
omkar kulkarni

Unhappy with the service inside. The waitress made 6 of us have a 6 seater table and half way through asked to empty the table since it was served by a bigger group at 7pm!! If they already had the tables reserved they are supposed to seat customers accordingly!! Very Bad service! Food is average too.

T

This is a well-appointed and pleasant restaurant. The window booths are lovely. The staff are polite and do their best to serve, even when busy. We went to have dinner at around 6pm on a Saturday and it was a full restaurant. Some potential customers were told to come back in 20mins. It took about 10mins for us to be seated and have menus. We then waited another 10min to order. At ordering we asked and were told that almost none of the apetizers were made in house (we asked because had just seen a big 'frozen Indian food' truck leaving from the street). So, we ordered curries and nan. After ordering, the food came about 20min later. So it wasn't until around 7pm that we had food. Unfortunately, the food was not what we asked for in terms of spice level. The curries' tastes were okay/average but we wanted the spice level requested. We asked for as hot as possible for the lamb and medium for the chicken, but found the 'hot' one mild and the 'medium' one sweet. We asked for this to be corrected and the curries were taken back to the kitchen. In the meantime we snacked on the garlic nan, which was a bit dry and flaky, but okay/average. We also tried a bit of the jasmine rice, which was nice and fluffy. They brought the curries back 5min later and the 'hot' one had become intolerably salty and the 'medium' one was mild. We asked for chilli on the side to at least raise the spice level. They brought us a small dish with dried chilli powder. We were hungry enough at this point to at least try a bit of the meat. While the lamb itself was a bit tough the taste was okay (though the sauce still way too salty), the chicken had obviously been frozen and was tough. At this point we had lost our appetite and even felt a bit sick. We asked to speak with a manager. They were very polite and asked us what was wrong. We explained the experience and they immediately offered to refund the entire meal. We offered to pay at least for the nan but they refused. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant.

I think Priyank Shah's review best encapsulates the service (or lack thereof) and general experience you can expect when eating at New Delhi Diamond's. First off, this business clearly makes most of their money from takeout and delivery orders. Not sure if they're understaffed or just do not want to invest in more employees, but you can expect to be "waiting" yourself here. You order at the register, where you also grab your own utensils and napkins – and deal with the irritable cashier – then seat yourself (you may also want to clean the table beforehand). The wait time is also extremely long, as they are backordered with not only in-person orders but also, as I mentioned earlier, takeout and delivery orders. I only gave them two stars because one of the cooks gave us something on the house for making us wait so long. Finally, the food is served in soggy takeout boxes because the restaurant cannot be bothered to provide real dinnerware. The food itself was alright, nothing spectacular, but I wouldn't return again nor would I ever recommend the place to anyone, solely due to the poor service. Another thing is that the sign on their door is very misleading. It lists their business hours and says "TAKEOUT ONLY;" however, when you open the door and go inside, you'll see that there are people sitting and eating inside. Either way, I don't understand why they have such a large restaurant with so much seating when they don't make any effort to provide customers with an actual dining experience.

"Ithaca's Culinary Rollercoaster: A Taste of Confusion" Welcome to Ithaca's very own Indian restaurant, where the service is as warm as a freshly baked naan, but the food... well, let's just say it's on a journey of self-discovery. First, let's applaud the staff for their impeccable service. They truly deserve a standing ovation - or at least a tip, because you might want to save your appetite for elsewhere. Now, onto the main attraction: the food. Oh boy, where do we begin? The kadhi pakora was a bold experiment in flavor fusion - if by fusion, we mean the unholy matrimony of salt and staleness. The pakora, masquerading as potato patty pieces, tasted like they had been on a gap year and forgotten to come back fresh. The kadhai paneer took a surprising detour into dessert territory. Who knew paneer could have an identity crisis and decide to be a gulab jamun instead? It's not often you find a dish that makes you question the very nature of savory cuisine. The rice, oh the rice! It was either uncooked or had achieved a level of spiritual hardness through intense meditation. Perhaps it was trying to preserve itself for future archaeologists to study. But fear not! Like a beacon of hope in a sea of culinary confusion, the tandoori roti and aloo paratha stood strong. They were the heroes we needed but didn't deserve, reminding us that sometimes, simplicity is the key to not ruining perfectly good ingredients. Footnote: As an Indian, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The owner might consider a quick trip to nearby Canada for a refresher on authentic Indian cuisine. This establishment is, regrettably, an abomination to Indian culinary traditions.

First of all when writing this review, I want to address that this was a takeout order and not a dining experience. The biryani was not biryani, it was more like puloa, and had chunks of turmeric that were not properly mixed in. The chicken was very chewy and honestly it was so bad that even my 6 month old puppy wouldn’t eat it(he’s a Labrador). I love Indian food and have experienced many types of masala and flavor but this is the most disappointing thing I have ever had. I even have a suspicion that the chicken was not freshly cooked and was from a day or two ago. Overall when going to this place(if you are getting takeout) make sure that you get the best item in the restaurant, WHITE RICE!

If Diamonds was actually operating in Delhi, they’d have gone out of business in a month. The food doesn’t taste authentic, the gravies all taste the same, the appetizers are much drier than they should be, and the chutneys feel like water. Also, for some reason, every time me and my friends eat NDD food, we all end up feeling very bloated and lethargic for a day and a half. I am not sure what NDD does with their food but this never happens with Indian takeout anywhere else (in the US). If good Indian food is what you want, just cook at home.

While the food is decent here the service is almost laughable for how bad it is and makes it very difficult to enjoy the food. Also what is with 8:30 pm as closing hours?! Weird!

We were traveling from out of state and were craving for Chai tea so we decided to visit them, assuming tea from an Indian restaurant would taste good. We were so wrong. We arrived at the restaurant half hour before it closed. The woman who waited us was annoyed when we told her we were here for tea which was a total turn off. In 15 mins she brought us 4 to-go cups which we weren’t expecting. Customer service has to be customer service no matter what the customer wants. We tasted the tea and it was nothing like chai tea. I’m surprised the restaurant even has above 4 stars. Would not recommend.

They canceled my order 45 minutes after the initial delivery time. Unacceptable!

Service was an abomination!! It was almost like deliberate one blow after another. Me and my girlfriend entered around 8:20 to 8:25 and left at 9:16 We could have been told no, we are closing, but we were asked to sit anywhere. We ordered. Veg Pakora came first. It was nice. We were waiting for the next thing to arrive, which was Shahi Paneer and Garlic Naan. Instead of giving food, dessert was put on our table first. The dinner arrived after dessert (first tiny bit shock). Shahi Paneer was on-point, garlic naan was mid! While we were eating they turned off the music in the restaurant, and also turned down the lights. (Second shock) At around 9 I asked if I can have another Garlic Naan, I was told no with an attitude it started to feel like I should not be in the restaurant at all(Third shock) While eating, the waitress came to the table and put the card machine to pay!!! While we were still eating!! (Fourth shock) We got so surprised about this and we were disappointed with how we were being treated, we were just contemplating if she (the waitress) was deliberately doing this or was this by mistake. But as you can read ine after another things were happening. Then the last blow came which made it very clear that she was deliberately being mean and terrible towards us. Final blow- we paid, we got up. While I was just wearing my jacket looking, I was sitting right next closest to a gate and just looking at this exit. She went ahead and locked it. If she could have waited 25 seconds we would have been out. But she chose to lock it. It was almost like they felt like they let us in and did us a favour by letting us eat!! I wish I could tip her in minus!

I have been here many times. The food is consistently good when you order for take out or from the menu. The buffet os over rated. The service, plain sucks. I have been in the service industry and try to give them the benefit of the doubt. But the last time I went, the waitress plain ingrored my party before we were seated and while we were eating. Also rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a napkin and spoon and later a receipt.

Ordered Shrimp Biryani and had turmeric fried rice. Terrible service ever. If you wanna have the worst so called Indian food this is the place else never go here .

Stay away or you will be disappointed. Terrible service (or lack thereof), and inedible food. Went to this place based on reviews, which mostly seem to be from pre-covid time. Firstly, there is no dine in service. They have a few tables where if you like, you can eat your food there which is packed as carry out food. No one bothers to clean those few tables and most of their energy is focused on their Doordash and Uber Eats deliveries. They could care less about anyone wanting to eat there, in fact, they want you to avoid that. And this is not disclosed anywhere, you find out when you show up at the place and deal with the individual at the register. Yesterday, they ran out of spoons of all things, only provided forks to go with all curries with gravy, including daal. :) When asked, they were extremely rude and argumentative, making up nonsensical excuses about customers using up too many plates/spoons and they ran out. Really? A restaurant that runs out of plastic ware? They would probably have still taken our soup order even in this situation and provided forks! Food was equally bad. Out of four entrees, only one was average, all others were poor.

I'm not one to leave reviews but terrible wait time (45 min for a non busy day). Terrible value for food, you get a small cup of curry with a small amount of rice (less than 1 cup) and you don't even get to get more rice by itself. The curry itself was ok tasting, but I got a stomach bug after eating.

I am sorry to say this was one of the worst biryanis I have ever had. It is not BIRIYANI at all. The rice was not fresh, there were no biryani spices, and the shrimp were undercooked, which is unacceptable. I also became sick after eating it. We asked for a few plates but were never provided any, even after leaving a tip on a pickup order. It feels like the restaurant does not care and is relying on the fact that many customers are tourists who only come once. Many of the positive reviews here also seem questionable. I hope the owner takes this seriously, listens to criticism, and improves both food safety and hospitality. This is about respecting South Asian culture, the customers, and the local community. Doing honest and kind business is the moral thing to do.

This was a disappointing experience, and I don’t feel great writing this, but people should know. The shrimp biryani was bland, watery, and the shrimp were way undercooked. This was NOT BIRIYANI. Pickup service was also poor; we asked for paper plates and napkins, which they promised but never provided. We left a tip out of courtesy for a pickup order, but honestly, it wasn’t deserved. This is not how real biryani should taste. Please do better for the community.

The food has gone downhill and it doesn't seem to be as fresh and it's seems cheaper in quality. I've tried it again about five times over the past couple of years but four of those times the service was terrible! Especially a couple of very rude waitresses! But the worst is prepare yourself for looking into a thousand Suns because that's how bright they have it in there! It's amazing how many restaurants get this wrong but they're the worst.
