We had a wonderful dinner at Bar & Kitchen tonight. Loved the tacos, jam burger, Nashville hot chicken and salad with ancient grains. Each dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Just when we thought visiting Xetava Cafe in Kayenta couldn’t get any better, it did! A couple of months ago they expanded and opened the Xetava Bar & Kitchen. The bar has amazing selection of beers, wines and cocktails. While you are enjoying your favorite beverage, you can select from the tapas menu and sample some of the newly created pairings. We enjoyed The Thai Shrimp Nacho’s, Street Corn Quesadillas, Tuna Tataki and Pan Seared Crab Cakes They were expertly prepared and presented and have become our new favorites. With its great selection of drinks and food, served by an outstanding staff we will be back often!

Delicious! We ordered the quesadillas, tacos and hot chicken slider small plates as well as Burrata and strawberry feta salad. Can’t wait to go back!

Xetava - a word unknown by the human race since before written languages existed. For centuries this word has both haunted and enlightened us as a species, inspiring our curiosity and allowing us to raise to new heights. Now, in 2023, the ultimate peak of our civilization has been reached on this pale, blue dot we call Earth. And it sits alone to the northwest of the colorful, xeriscaped city of St. George. San Jorge, for short. To express delight in this culinary experience would not be enough. Xetava imparts to us common folk an elation largely unfelt by human hearts. When you are served food and drink at Xetava, you become paralyzed, as it were, with a feeling of profound euphoria. Like the scene from Get Out where he gets hypnotized, except it's great. Coming out to the high desert, most people assume they'll spend their time gazing upwards at the red majesty in Zion or Bryce. But if you can push past those and make it to the unpopulated outskirts of St. George, Xetava will change that experience. It is not you who gazes up at God's majestic creations, it is your food. It is not you who searches for a cocktail-fountain in a government-run national park, it is your server at Xetava, who always finds just what you need. It is not you who wonders where you'll get your next meal on the overcrowded main street of Springdale, it is Xetava who wonders when YOU will walk through their doors so that they can focus all attention on you. I'd probably return. 5/5

On the pricey side but worth it.

Excellent bar with mostly small or smaller plates for food. Bar area has a mix of bar seats along with high tops and regular tables. Another area has regular tables. The food is really good, we had 3 plates and 2 cocktails which was just enough to eat. Bar area can be a little noisy depending on where you're seated.

I love this place! It's perfect for a fancy date night or just a fun night out with friends. The service is amazing and the food is incredible. Shout-out to our server, SJ - he was fantastic.

Tucked right next door to the beloved Xetava Gardens Cafe in the heart of Kayenta Art Village (815 Coyote Gulch Ct, Ivins, UT), The Rusted Cactus is the laid-back, full-bar companion that completes the perfect red-rock evening. What started as an adjoining spot under the original owners has evolved into its own vibe — especially after the 2024 ownership transition to the MacKay and Lewis families (experienced restaurateurs from Draper, UT). As of late 2025, it's thriving as a go-to for cocktails, shared plates, and those unbeatable Kayenta views.

Enjoyed excellent food and service. I love how they implement vegies to the dishes. Grilled meat was phenomenal! One drawback was the seat setting. We were indoor and at a high table and high chairs. There wasn't any space to put a bag. So I had to put them under chair on the floor. It would be nice to see some sort of basket, shelf or hook for some belongings like Japanese restaurants do. Overall, one of the best places in St. George area for me.

We took a group of 10 here for a Christmas party. Everything ordered was delish. The food, drinks and appetizers (we ordered all of them)!!! The service was AMAZING!!! Allie and the bar tender were super attentive. We left having such a great experience bc of them and the kitchen staff. Thank you. We will all be back.

Pleasantly surprised! Great service and delicious food and drink offering. Their non alcoholic specials were on point. Must try the street corn quesadillas, the sauce puts it over the top.

My husband brought me here for a date night, and I think we found our new favorite spot! The staff was so friendly, and the food was amazing! We will be repeat customers for sure!

Med salad missed the mark with a watery dill dressing and wilted lettuce. The sushi nachos were amazingly good even if the portion was small. Atmosphere, service and cocktails were top notch.

Best food in the St. George area. We tried 4 of the tapas. Amazing! Each one surprised us because the flavors were so great. Asian salmon, bacon jam burger, tuna tataki, and Thai shrimp nachos were on point!! And the service and vibe was just great too. Live guitar player oh and I forgot the cocktails were off the chart!! Go have dinner here!! Seriously great.

Xetava and Rusted Cactus are both amazing. The best food in the St. George area by far. Amazing service, incredible food and just a great place to be. Looking forward to some of the new menu changes. We tried the seafood nachos last night. This might just be the best item on the menu.

The Xetava Bar and Kitchen is a warm and inviting place for you to enjoy many small plate offerings. We had the little bacon jam burger, a grass fed beef patty with arugula, melted Brie and their homemade bacon jam. It was a harmony of salty and sweet. The Bar offers a wide selection of cocktails, wines, and beers. We chose the guava coconut refresher mock tail. The combination of guava, coconut, lime and pineapple was a tropical delight. Awesome little place in the Kayenta art village. Great variety of tapas and now a couple of full sized burgers as well. The best part of this place is the drink menu, they have some excellent and fun cocktails, a long beer list, and some hand picked excellent wine. There's plenty of seating both inside and out. We generally stop in every time we are in town and would highly recommend.

The food and cocktails are magical. Perfectly balanced and well curated like it’s a fine art museum. I’m one of those weirdos with an alarming amount of alcohol to make any cocktail you can at home with a variety of cocktail books. When I go to a bar, I want their drinks to be an experience that is hard to recreate. This place accomplishes that. Hands down the best drinks in the region and the food beats out most restaurants. The staff are well knowledgeable in what they are creating. The only wish is for them to be open longer.

This place was such a gem! Love the food and the staff is even better. Thai coconut nachos with mocktails were 10/10. You can’t forget the gorgeous design of the restaurant location and the bar, both unique and one of a kind. Can’t wait to come again!

Nice place to enjoy some good food. A variety of seating options, both inside and out. Staff were very friendly and attentive,. Relaxing environment, and convenient parking. The jam burger and the chicken sandwich (too much hot sauce) didn’t get rave reviews. However, the corn ribs and quinoa salad were delicious! Folks enjoyed the desserts as well. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in town.

The menu is eclectic and well prepared. It's a long way to drive from St George - not that St George has that many decent restaurants. Service was so-so. Overall worth going back to if you are in the vicinity.

We are very happy to have the Rusted Cactus in the neighborhood. As reviewers have written, the ambience, service, food, drinks are delightful. As they are under new management, there is a recent little caveat: the establishment will close with little or no notice for private parties. Make sure you are on their mailing list to be notified, especially if you don't live nearby.

Atmosphere’s cool it’s it’s very bar like but if you’re hungry and want a lot of food, don’t expect to get it here. I like my food to come in a lot of big servings in this definitely not that food was good just not Satisfying.
