Stephanie is AMAZING! Hands down the best server I’ve had period. She remembers me by name and always greets me even if I’m not in her section. Her customer service is out of this world! She is so personable and easy to talk to! She always makes sure my food is perfect and if it’s not she gets it fixed ASAP! My boyfriend is allergic to gluten and she always makes sure he is accommodated!

Joseph was an incredibly attentive and personable server throughout our entire meal. He checked in at all the right times, made sure everything was perfect, and had such a friendly, welcoming attitude. His great service truly enhanced our dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Ben was amazing. Very attentive and made sure our order was entered correctly. Drinks arrived fast with enough time for us to enjoy before the food arrived. Would highly recommend!!

Karla was our server today and her service was absolutely outstanding. She had a great sense of humor and stayed attentive to our table, without us having to track her down. I come often and she provided the best service yet!

I had a great experience. The restaurant was packed but our server Ben served us in a timely manner. The best moment was when I ran out of water and he instantly came by with a new glass without me prompting anything. He was amazing.

We were seated right away by Jaylynn (hope I’m spelling that right), and we lucked out having Misty as our server. She was a total ray of sunshine. We came in starving and hit her with drink and food orders all at once, and she handled it like a pro. When we asked for recommendations, she steered us perfectly and every meal was fantastic. If you go, get the cranberry glazed salmon with asparagus… wow. So good. Huge thanks to Misty for keeping up with us and being so kind.

I visited after church with my two great nephews. We were served by Marissa. She was excellent, very friendly and made great recommendations. The restaurant was clean and a very nice environment.

made and 8:15 reservation on 2/14, told there was an hour and a half wait even with reservation, little disappointed on that part but they ended up getting us in with at least 15 minutes or less. food came in a timely manner, especially for a weekend holiday, was delicious, drinks were quick and great, otherwise always perfect if not a holiday

The Ahi Tuna salad was great and our server Ben was so efficient! His section was very busy yet he was calm, very friendly and on top of everything! We really enjoyed his service! Thanks Ben.

We came in during lunch hour and had a pleasant experience, overall and especially with our host, Deaundra!! This is one of my husband’s and I’s favorite dining places, and she was extremely welcoming and attentive to us! The food is always fresh and tasty (even when ordering to-go!!) all while being affordable which is a great deal for us “young folks.” Truly enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back again!

Very reliable chain place for dinner or a happy hour. You are not going to get gourmet level food but there are daily specials you can find something to enjoy. My favorite is being able to scan the QR code pay for my meal and leave.

Ben was the host who welcomed me to BJ's and then became my server. We shared genuine laughs and his service was impeccable. It's been a year since I dined here it was great to have such a pleasant experience. I ordered the Kickin Chicken sandwich with fries and a Pepsi. He ensured everything was as I ordered. If he was my server everytime, he definitely would get all my reserved tip money! Thank you Ben!!

This restaurant is a reliable place to get dinner with reasonable prices. What really makes this location shine is the service. Tonight was the best service I’ve had since I moved to Jacksonville thanks to Ben. Ben was truly a phenomenal server. He was polite and funny, and he brought all of our food in a timely manner. He checked on us multiple times, ensuring we always had what we needed. I definitely recommend - ask for Ben!

We had an outstanding experience thanks to Tyler. From the moment we were seated, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Tyler knew the menu well, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. Our drinks were always full, the food came out perfectly timed, and any questions we had were answered with confidence and a smile. It’s clear he take pride in his work, and it truly elevated our entire dining experience. Exceptional service like this is what keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!

I always have an AMAZING time at this BJ’s! Tonight was super fun! Our waitress, Rachel, was a delight! She was so sweet and fun and made our experience a 10/10. It was only her second day and her trainer, (I believe her name was Megan based off of the receipt) was also so sweet and helped serve our table since they were busy tonight. Great people all around and they really made our night so much better than expected. Thank you guys so much, we will 1000% be back!!!

Our waiter Ben was on top of everything. Drink order right away and refills just before needed. Food served right away still piping hot. Courteous the whole time. I was with my father who is hard of hearing and he was very patient pointing things out in the menu to make easier for ordering and confirming the order.

I am a long time enjoyer of BJ’s for almost 10 years now and have enjoyed coming in occasionally though not regularly. Since being served by Teresa, I can see BJ’s becoming a regular restaurant in my dining experience. She not only has stellar recommendations, but a great taste in jokes and an overall vibe of homeyness and warmth. She brings a smile and a laugh to every table and does a great job making sure that everything is up to standard and beyond. Teresa is a light at BJ’s and it shows. Thank you for an amazing experience!

I had such an amazing experience at BJ’s! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Shelby, the assistant general manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect she truly cares about her guests and it shows. Our server, Richie, was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations that we loved. The food came out fresh and delicious, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. You can really tell the whole team takes pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back, thank you Shelby and Richie for making our night so great!

We had an amazing meal at Bjs. Ben was so helpful in getting our orders taken, keeping our drinks full, and even helped my girls pick what kind of Pizookie they wanted. Everything tasted great and everything came out in a reasonable time. Overall great meal!

This was my first time here. I came for the Pizookie but was unimpressed and doubt I will return versus all the other great options close by. I ordered the Triple Chocolate Pizookie Made with Ghirardelli and a Big Twist Pretzel with Beer Cheese. The Pizookie's flavor was on point but the freshness and texture were not. Even though I ate it at the restaurant and right away it still tasted crusty, stale and not that warm. I was expecting something that would be soft, warm, and comforting and I did not get it. I liked the pretzel, beer cheese and mustard and finished all of them so that I would get that again. The pretzel was hot, fresh and salty as it should have been. I also tried BJ's vanilla cream soda. It was okay but coke's orange cream tastes better so I would not get BJ's again either. The service was fine and so was the atmosphere and facility.

Friendly servers. Great place to grab a bite or chill to drink. Many craft beers available to choose from. Nice ambiance, just a short drive across Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel. Good size beef burger with soft buns topped with fried onions rings and bacon strips. Tender soft beef patty done medium is delicious with in-house sweet BBQ sauce.

I arrived here for lunch. My server’s name was Joanne. She didn't tell me; I only knew because it was on the receipt. She literally just brought food. She was apparently looking for her stride or didn't want to be at work. I had to ask for to-go containers. Even with that, she brought one size despite the different amounts of food remaining and the different entrees our party ordered. That made the overall experience poor, but the food was so good. My party ordered root beer glazed wings, jambalaya, burgers, and pizza.

Decent food. Had clam chowder In a bread bowl with a wedge salad. The soup was tasty but more warm than hot. The bread was very good. The salad didn't have much bacon or blue cheese crumbles. Service was attentive.

3 stars, and that might be generous. This place has no identity and its needs more light or color inside. The food (shared the Deep Dish Chicken Nachos and Pepperoni Pizza) was good, but nothing stood out. The service was super slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. I hear they have some good happy hour specials, but not on Saturday when I was there. I give this place hard pass unfortunately. Judge for yourself?

The food was absolutely amazing and came out quickly, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the service (stephanie m) was very disappointing. I ordered a sweet tea and an appetizer and was brought water instead. When the server came back and I reminded her about the tea, it still took about 20 more minutes to receive it. Our appetizer was finished well before our entrées arrived, but the empty plate was never cleared, which made things awkward since we were at a small table. Once our food came out, the server never checked on us at all. After we finished eating, we stacked everything neatly so we could order dessert, but we waited around 15 minutes before she finally came back to see if we were done. Dessert itself was fine and there were no issues after that. The food alone was great, but the lack of attention and basic table service really took away from the overall experience.

The food was a bit cold but it was expected on this Valentine’s Day. Our server Ben was very consistent with checking on us, making sure we were satisfied with our orders. Ben was also giving us updates on our food while we enjoyed our appetizer! Ben recommended great beverages as well! Food was like eh, something about pepperoni extreme wasn’t so “extreme”, skimping out on the pepperoni. My boyfriend ordered Italian chicken parmigiana, which was barely warm when it came out. Of course it isn’t up to our server but we weren’t expecting to eat barely warm food. The sweet and spicy Asian glaze on boneless wings was a 10/10!!

Got the prime rib special which came with soup or salad two sides and dessert. Value seemed good. Disappointed with prime rib over half of it was fat for both my husband and I. Got an appetizer the flatbread pizza. Came out quick and hot which was good however meal came right after within minutes. Waiter mentioned he only had 2 tables so was eager to move things along. Asked us for dessert order half way thru meal. Had not been here before so was not familiar with cookie choices. I also asked waiter if I could finish my prime rib before ordering dessert felt too rushed. Cookie dessert was fine happy with 2 scoops of ice cream with cookie.

I order from here and tell me why I receive a BURNT and WRONG pizookie. a prime rib that’s stiff??!? How do you even make a tender cut of meat stiff???? soggy cold fries, and no drink. oh AND on TOP of that takes over an HOUR to be done. embarrassing for how much you charge. don’t order here. they suck.

I took the family to BJ's after my daughters graduation at UNF. I had the worst experience for the 2nd time at this location. We had a 3:30pm reservation. >We got there and had to wait 15 minutes for the table to be ready. > Then they finally seated us and after the waitress brought us drinks, she never came back. > i had to ask the Mgr when someone was coming to take our order. Then the waitress cams over and said, " I thought you had more people coming. She left again & 15 minutes later, another waitress came to the table , said the waitress was sick & went home. > We finally ordered our food and when the food came, my chicken salad hardly had any chicken in it. > The straw that broke my back was when they brought the caramel pazookie. The cookie was burnt & hard as a rock. I told the waitress & she brought a replacement 15 minutes later. This was the worst experience and because it's the 2nd time of bad experiences, we will not be back. We were there for 2 hours and spent $158 for the bad experience. We were at table 616 and the ticket # is 0124. The staff at this location needs to learn about what friendly Customer Service is. We will never be back.

His answer to every order, comment, or request was the same empty phrase: “I gotchu.” That confidence was impressive, because nothing actually followed. We had five adults, three kids, and a baby. One child’s meal came out more than ten minutes before anything else, with no utensils or napkins. The waiter then vanished. I’ve seen smoother service at a DMV during a power outage. When the rest of the food arrived, there were still no utensils, napkins, or extra plates for sharing. We had to ask repeatedly for basic items. He moves like every decision in his life requires a committee meeting. Another staff member eventually brought what we needed and openly scolded our waiter. Our waiter returned like nothing happened. No apology, no explanation. He looked at the table like it personally offended him. At this point, I wasn’t even mad, just fascinated. This was a masterclass in underachieving. After bringing drink refills we didn’t ask for, he disappeared again. We finally had to request the check urgently as our baby started to fuss. For a restaurant this nice, I didn’t expect a live demonstration of failure. If this guy worked any slower, he’d be going backward.

My husband and I dined at BJ’s last night and had a very disappointing experience. We ordered two entrées and an appetizer, and the total came to about $85, which would have been fine if the quality matched the price—but unfortunately, the food was terrible. We didn’t even finish our meals. Our waitress started off okay, but after taking our order, he rarely came back to check on us. We sat for a long time without any follow-up and never received a single refill, while nearby tables were clearly being catered to by both our waiter and another server. It was frustrating to feel overlooked when help was visibly available. We chose BJ’s because it was close by and we hadn’t been in a while, planning a cheat-meal night before heading to the movies. Instead, the experience completely missed the mark and put a damper on our evening. Given the poor food quality and lack of service, a refund would be appropriate. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning after this experience.
