Lil Thai Place

We tried Lil Thai and were pleasantly surprised! It is authentic Thai food which has not been Americanized. Keep an open mind and don't compare the entrees to other Thai restaurants. We had the crab rangoons, chicken Pad Thai and Pad Khang. All were excellent! 👍👍👍

Best thai in Jacksonville! We always order the papaya salad, the panang curry with beef, and the mango sticky rice. Very small place, but the woman who runs it is very nice.

This is a small and quaint real Thai restaurant. It was run by the owner. She is working as the hostess, server, and cook. Be patient as she is doing it all. The food is real authentic Thai food. It's not Americanized. The food was amazing. I have crab rangoons, spring rolls and red curry with shrimp. The crab rangoons have seasoning added to the cream cheese making it yellow. Interesting twist. They tasted like it was mixed with curry so good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Hands down, the best Thai food I have ever had in my life. Was in Jax for 2 days and ate here 3 times. All the dishes were clean, healthy, and incredibly flavorful. Easily accommodated a plant based diet. I'll be dreaming about this place!

If you're looking for authentic Thai food that's also healthy, this place is a must-visit. We ordered the crispy pork belly Pad Thai and the flavor was fantastic. Unlike other Thai restaurants, it wasn’t colored. We also tried the chicken red curry which wasn’t thickened with flour or starch, yet still packed all the delicious flavor. To top off the meal, we had the pandan bread pudding which was the perfect ending to a satisfying lunch. The service was excellent and the owner was both friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Lil Ty Thai! We started with the best Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had, and the Thai Milk Tea was the perfect complement. I ordered the Massaman Curry as my main dish and it was absolute perfection - rich, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. My girlfriend’s Pad See Ew was equally incredible. The Mango Sticky Rice dessert was the ideal sweet ending to an outstanding meal. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was Kevin, our server. His service was nothing short of exceptional - attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Kevin elevated an already amazing meal into something truly special. Every dish exceeded our expectations, but Kevin’s hospitality made us feel like VIPs. This is what dining should be - incredible food paired with world-class service. We’ll absolutely be back and will be requesting Kevin every time. Lil Thai Place has earned our highest recommendation!

Hands down the best Thai food I’ve eaten. It’s the real deal, not the Americanized version, and the flavors were incredible. Starting with the crab rangoon where I knew from the first bite this was going to be a wonderful dinner. The rangoons were sweet with a hint of curry taste (not spicy) and homemade wrappers, so good. For entrees we shared chicken pad see eiw and chicken fried rice. The pad see eiw was super tasty and juicy. She brought out some vinegar which I thought would be weird but I trusted her and it really added another layer to the dish. Definitely recommend. The fried rice was unreal. I’ve never had fried rice that good. Cannot wait to visit again and try more on the menu.

Birdie, the owner, is an absolute delight - she’s also the chef, and you can truly feel the heart she puts into everything she does. After our meal, we had a lovely chat about the food, her dedication to finding top-quality, fresh, clean, and healthy ingredients, and how much she values the cherished family recipes she uses. Ordered online for pick up. Easy to order. Great selection. Love reading about the authenticity and it takes a bit more time. Definitely worth the wait, which was only about 25-30 minutes. Fresh prepared and oh my, Delicious!!! I wanted some Tom yum soup due to recent dental work and it did not disappoint. I did get with chicken and it was thin sliced and very tender, mushrooms perfectly afloat and the medium spice was just right. Will definitely order again. Very authentic and fresh with No additives. Much appreciated.

I went lite tonight, 2 appetizers, pretty good, was looking for lumpia. Didn't see it on the menu. Love the larb, that I've had during a previous visit. Daughter enjoyed her pad see ew, it was flavorful, garlic and other thia herbs. Delicious 😋
