I was literally STARVING and did know where else to go at that time of the morning for some food that was hot and I could actually enjoy eating. This restaurant was open and worked out for me in EVERY way possible.

The place is a cultural hub of hillside and is one of the best places to experience true New York Culture. The food is exceptional and the store is always clean. One area of issue is the service at times where the cashiers taking your order dont pay attention or give the best service. One time, the woman was on her phone laughing at the screen and asked for my order. I gave my order and she didn't listen and asked for it again. This repeated 3 more times until she got my order on the 5th time. Other than that, the food, is really a trip worthwhile making. Its authentic New York food which is always accessible. They have a great range of options to try from burgers to fried chicken to cheese steak.

The owner is extremely nice--he wears the traditional Muslim white. When I ordered the pizza he had to step out to have a quick smoke so my friend asked if he can leave the $3.00 (for two slices) on the counter. The owner said it was okay and that we can pay after we eat (remember this is a fast food restaurant; there's no check to be picked up at the end of the meal). He trusted us! Now that's customer service.

I had a great time there. Their pizza and fried chicken was really fresh and hot. The staff was really friendly and served food quickly. Best of all, the price was very reasonable. I will definitely consider going again.

After attending a concert, I was craving lamb over rice. I arrived a little before midnight on a Friday, and this place was open. It was a little busy, but I was able to place my order in less than5 minutes. The wait for the food was less than 15 minutes (2orders). The food was hot and pretty tasty. As for the negative reviews about the staff being rude, I had the opposite experience. The guy that took my order was friendly & polite. I would definitely come back to this place.

Crown Fried Chicken hillside ave 168st was one of my favorite spots for late night but now they are worse not good service and they don’t have enough stuff whenever I go inside I see there’s no chicken it’s empty and I have to wait 10 15 minutes for the food

Perfect spot for late night craving. This is a place you go for when there are no other food options left lol because it's after midnight and most people are sleeping and restaurants are closed :) My wife enjoys their chicken legs and wings me on the other hand prefer the platter. They are fulfilling and good value for the money plus i am not a wing person ;)

They need to focus on their cleanliness and services. Foods are average nothing special. By the way it’s open for 24/7.

I didn't try the fried chicken part but the other part from the street which sells traditional food. They open this part every evening. I tried bhapa pitha, tea, malai tea, egg chop, coconut pitha and all the items were good. Service was average but I didn't expect much since it was a street food kind. They also have a small shed where you can sit and eat. Recommended for traditional Bangladeshi snacks and pithas.

It looks like they need to clean this place inspection need to be done, but the chicken tastes good 1 to 10 a 5

Asked the employee for actual chicken. He suggested the chicken strip meal. The chicken strips are nuggets in a strip shape. I let him know he was not helpful and did not offer an exchange.

The place offered shrimp over rice and I love shrimp. Tried their shrimp over rice and liked it so much that I endured the two-hour bus ride again to have the shrimp over rice. There is a picture of the shrimp over rice at the store-front, which is sort of misleading because the actual size of the shrimp is about a dime or bigger. The first time I had the shrimp over rice, the person preparing my order added perfect amount of hot sauce and white sauce. The second time someone else prepared my to-go order and added too much white sauce which is not very appetizing once the rice is no longer hot. Reheating in the microwave does not work well. The second time I also ordered the spinach roll and 21 pieces of fried shrimp, which seemed like double the size of the shrimp in the rice. The spinach roll was okay, had it next day and it was crisp even after reheating in the microwave. The fried shrimp, however, were a huge letdown. The fried shrimp felt like eating fried batter, even leading my husband to doubt if there were actual shrimp in the fried pieces. I removed the batter and discovered a tiny piece of shrimp on the inside that was not de-veined. I removed the batter from all pieces and all of the shrimp had the digestive tract intact. The shrimp to batter ratio was a 1:5. I think next time I will stick with the shrimp over rice.&

The food is quite nasty here, the chicken is sometimes stale or cooked in old oil which has an unpleasant odor. The person who’s behind the cash register is also quite rude and tries to skimp out on customers by giving them the smallest piece of chicken by nitpicking through them. It’s unfortunate because I grew up eating from this crown fried chicken and I remember when it used to be great when ran under different owners/ managers. It’s sad to see what it’s become now.

I more than likely won't ever order fried chicken after 6pm here because the chicken I ordered was cold, dry and uneatable. I couldn't even chew it. If you're gonna be a fried chicken place that stays open late night hours, please be prepared to fry fresh chicken and not just try to continue getting rid of the old chicken that's been sitting under a heat light for hours. The guy behind the counter however was very friendly.

I’ve been to many crown fried chickens, but this one is the worst. The place needs a woman’s touch. It was really dirty. The portions of chicken was small, And the food was over fried . I like the fact that they keep late hours, and close at three in the morning.but the way to store looked Totally turned me off. I’m not going back, there’s no excuse for this.

This place used to be a no frills take out which still managed to turn out decent food. It has recently changed hands and the quality has really gone down. I ordered beef sandwiches on hero rolls for take out, and they came stuffed with soggy fries with a very thin lining of meat! Who wants sandwiches stuffed with fries?! We ordered beef sandwiches! My kids would not finish them. I don't think I'm going back.

Ordered from this place on Uber Eats and was very expensive with little portions and missing half of the order... I ordered a combo fried chicken and fries with a pizza off of uber eats and had it delivered. They ONLY delivered the combo and was missing the pizza. We called them and they said the deliveryman FORGOT to bring the pizza with him to deliver and said that WE had to pick it up despite, paying the extra fees to have it deliver. In the end it totals to around $45, with the chicken and fries' proportion being very little. This place wasted my time, energy, and money by cutting corners in forgetfulness and tiny proportion size. 0/10 Don't recommend ordering nor eating here.

I had a terrible experience at Crown Fried Chicken. The burger I ordered was hot, so I didn’t initially think much of the slightly strange smell coming from the meat. However, as I started eating, the texture felt off, almost as if the meat had been reheated even though it probably wasn’t. Hours later, I began experiencing horrible stomach aches, and the nausea was unbearable—I felt like vomiting from the aftermath. This was by far one of the worst meals I’ve ever had, and seems to be not sanitary at all!

My wife bought some chicken wings and fried shrimp and fries. Chicken wings are so dry that they are not edible anymore. Shrimps are okay and freshly made. Fries are old and oily. Seems they cooked everything ahead and give you all bad chicken and fries if you’re not pay attention. Check before you take your food. Save some headache and don’t spend your money here. You need to realize that you are handling people’s food and we are human not some kind of junkies. I order uber eat and after waiting 40 minutes I get wrong order and top of that this chicken is old and I will not pay to eat this kind of chicken.
