Overall neat and clean , service ok . Good choices for kabab.

The food is delicious and the customer service the ladies provides is exceptional service. 👌. The dining room is large and not congestive. Very important because of the virus.

So far my experience here has been great, despite the negative reviews. Very good authentic bengali food. Will come again and update the review based on my next visit.

The food was delicious as usual. We had spinach and corilla with Naan. The prices are fantastic. 2 naans; 2 tea; a spinach and a corilla for only 12 dollars. King Kabab is definitely one of our favorite restaurant.

Very delicious kababs, kachhi biriyani. We love their achari chicken kabab most! It became our fav takeout restaurant while going to JFK airport. Oh, don't forget their doi! That is out of the world!

The food is bussin… I don’t understand the other reviews. My family has been coming here for years and we are rarely dissatisfied with the quality and taste of the food. It’s as authentic as Bangladeshi food gets and reasonably priced. The butter chicken is amazing with butter naan or paratha. The achari kebabs and Bihari kebabs always HIT. This spot is a gem compared to the more popular Bangladeshi restaurants along Hillside Ave.

Tried combo of different dishes and BBQ items and they really tasted good and different compare to the regular restaurants. Above all price is so very reasonable with respect to the food quality and serving.

Mostly had appetizers here and everything was very good. Chicken samosa (5/5) Shami kabab (5/5) Chicken spring roll (?) (5/5) Firny (5/5) Sweet yogurt (5/5) Seekh kabab roll (4/5), needs some more spread. I liked that the filling of the samosa and spring roll (?) was not the same. Went back for the firny, spring roll (?), and samosas, but they are out of samosas and spring roll (?) by the evening.

Staff are great.. very spacious eating area... geat tasting chai but the samosas are stale

Get some good Bangla grub and tea in this side of Queens. Well worth the trip every time and their paya on the weekends is A1. Peace.

Actually not bad, the food was good and the place was spacious enough to take your friends along with you. But after ordering the food it took a long time to get it on the table. Overall not bad.

This is the first time I visited this place so was bit confused about what to try, after looking for all dishes finally ordered bihari kabab with plain man, which turned out to be good. Kabab tasted nice. Nan were very fresh and soft. Enjoyed the food. They also serve paratha, omlete all day long so will definitely try it. Place was nice, clean, good for families too.

I'll have to say it was actually quite good. I was pretty hungry so the portion that I got wasn't enough for me. I needed more rice or naan or something as I ate a good portion of my friend's meal as well.

The food was pretty good - especially the tandoori and kabab items. As others have pointed out, the service can be a tad slow, so account for that when placing an order.

A great Bengali place for a quick lunch with coworkers. Deliscious well marinated kebabs that fall apart as you eat it. Vegetarian? Fear not they are veggie friendly.

Most of time I sit here and try their food. It's Great. But yes sometimes people working their is only take advantage because either they don't get it what you are saying, so they make mistake. Sometimes they are not good to give salad for take outs order but have to ask for it. But beside that food are great. ONLY NEED A BETTER MANAGEMENT that's all. I guess they also know it & loosing lots of customer.

2nd time my butter chicken was not heated well... in the tiny house-microwaves. They need better restaurant equipment, not 3 cheaper microwaves that take long too. The oven kind are more professional. Naan is good. And many salans are very tasty but little things like this can be a poor way to lose customers. Also there should be a menu board. I dont like asking for the price of every little thing.

The atmosphere is gloomy here. Either because I went during early afternoon or they refused awesome customer service. They neither speak English nor understand Bangla well (being in a Bangladeshi neighborhood), which had me a bit worked up trying to order. Food is precooked, not a la carte so beware some or most of the food here and most of the "restaurants" in the area are cold and they'll heat it up for you in a microwave *cringe*. Having said that the food is still one of the better ones in the area. I ordered the beef and rice and it was slightly expensive for me after the given qualities. It was good though. The rice was plain rice not even basmati and was made in a rice cooker. Would I go back? At that price point, not likely. FDA or not I don't enjoy paying that much for microwaved rice and beef.

You will get good Bangladeshi food here. Kacchi biriani is really good here only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Other regular goat biriani, tehari, morog polaw, shami kabab, jail kabab, all other kabab’s are here. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks , desert etc. Whatever you order will take 10 mins at least to prepare and come to your table. Foods are good but they need to improve the service. Often times, they do not have enough people to handle the customers in their restaurants. Bathroom needs an overhaul.[update:12/29/18: bathroom renovated, but not maintained.] You can also get the singara, samocha, puri, chotpoti. Update 07/16/2022 quality and quantity both are getting downward.

I used to go always in this store. Specifically for Kabab. Recently they hired one lady he had worst behavior for no reason.she was screaming with customers not only with me all other customers. As did misbehaving with all the customers. Sge has to replace for it's reputation.

One order of Beef Bihari Kabab cost $15. I mention again just beef bihari Kabab by it self. What a joke!!! I understand inflation rate is high now. But it can’t be $15 Kabab. Management should do some market research and make the price. In the name of Corona you charge almost double, what you used to charge before the pandemic.

Taste not good just average. Also takes long time to serve. They love to serve by big orders but when you go alone and order less than 10$ they seem reluctant.

Following happened on multiple occasions: Foods are high priced, old food (especially curries) are sold, even you keep it in the freeze following day it is spoiled you can't eat it, they need to be reported for City Inspection to be done.

i thought i would be getting some good clean food when i walked in cos i saw the grade A quality rating posted up on the door. Boy was i wrong, the very next day i had to go to the bathroom twice and i’m writing this review while on the potty lol. i feel like it had something to do with the fact that food was left out in the open all day collecting germs etc. The food tasted amazing for the price and i went to bed like a baby, i don’t feel so positive right now. I suggest a quality check to be done again. honestly the biriyani house across has cleaner food even though they have lower ratings

The one star is for the cook who burnt my beef bihari kabab, after I specifically told the cashier, make sure it isn't burnt. She did offer to exchange it. Below are pictures of the burnt beef bihari kabab. On one side is the burnt food. One star for the person responsible for preparing my food. Four stars for the cashier for being nice.

Ordered the Sikh kebabs and they turned out to be raw and when I called them to ask about it they responded in a rude tone never coming back here again

I ordered 35 mins before I arrived to pick up my order. When I got there they could not find my order. Rather than inform me I was left standing there while they made phone calls trying to figure out where my order disappeared too. For 15 mins they did that. Why would they give me something that someone returned anyways? Rather than using that time to at least remake my order. To top it off, I only had 4 pieces of chicken in my large order it tikka masala.

Terrible phone customer service. I made a mistake with my order, I called back to apologize and she started to argue and bicker. Things happen, wrong orders are placed. That doesn't mean you have to throw a fit over a trivial food order. I mean what can you expect, most Desi food restaurants have no idea of what customer service is or how to speak over the phone.

Recently they sold an absolutely spoiled fish dish, infested with fungus. They fish was placed next to other dishes and other fish in the same container before purchasing. I won’t be able to eat outside for a very long time after seeing this. Please proceed with caution.

Update: 3 years later, decided to get some milk tea only to find out that they add coffee to their teas. I have to stop buying tea from here. Original review: I had asked for a ginger lemon tea, only to be given milk tea. Upon telling the guy that there was a mistake with the order, he then responds with "we don't have ginger lemon" and had refused a refund. He had totally disregarded the fact that I had said ginger and lemon. I've got a massive sore throat. What a great way to start the day. TL;DR They only serve milk tea, ask for something else and they'll tell you that they serve it and end up giving you the milk tea instead.

I like their kababs. This is the only reason I come here. Cleanliness is a big issue here. Rest room is smelly and unhygienic. Plates are not properly cleaned. Overall experience is not satisfactory. I wonder how is their kitchen! !

We ordered a Beef Shashlik Kabab during Ramadan time to take out. One stick of kabab was $9. They had the kababs on display and when we ordered, they took one stick of kabab inside to pack for us. When we reached home, we opened the packaging and figured they kept half of the kabab and packed half for us!!! It was a long kabab on a stick which looked okay for $9, but during iftar we were left speechless by this despicable action. NEVER going back to this restaurant ever again!!!

We went to this restaurant everyday. But I went there at around 2o clock today. I asked for chicken biryani. They said it's not in the food counter. They will bring from inside. At home it is rotten. We have to throw it away. They charged me for $7!

Horrible experience. The women working on the front are rude. I ordered biryani and cancelled it to order something else. But just few seconds later I said, “it’s okay I want the biryani.” This made them mad and rude. They said okay and I kept waiting for me to get biryani. After waiting for almost half an hour when I still didn’t get my order, I ask and they tell me they won’t give me any food as I canceled my food once. They refused to give anything. I could even tolerate for them to refuse giving food if they were so mad and not able to handle one change in order from a customer, but the least they could do was to tell me they don’t want to give me anything. So I didn’t had to wait for so long to receive nothing. They intentionally made me wait and when I asked where is my order thinking why it’s taking that long, they said they wouldn’t give me anything. Horrible service and rude people.

Food is not fresh, they refried their old samosas and try to sneak in old food with new food. Bought chciken and vegetable samosas - the lady at the counter deceitfully gave several old refried burnt samosas. Even after requesting several times not to give the burnt food because anyone can clearly understand those are not fresh.

Not sure why I am giving a one star. This should be minus star. The worst kind if customer service I have ever received. Not sure if they are rude and unprofessional like this with everyone. The owner lady started taking/pulling our table to add to a bigger party while there were two other available tables. A friend of mine and I were just done with our dinner; we were not even given the bill, let alone being done paying. She already removed, aggressively pulled away our dining table. Worst!!!! kind of, rude, customer service. We did not complain. just paid at the counter and walked out of the place.

One of the worst food ever. Ordered Beef and Goat curry and all I got was 3 inches of oil and bones. My dad and I got so sick from the food that we had acid reflux for days. No wonder you guys have a horrible rating. Never again I learned my lesson. And the customer service is bad, no one wants to listen or talk I hope this restaurant closes down soon

Food is below average there and not fresh. The goat curry seems old as the meat is so hard to eat. Few of the staff are very good but some of the women staff are pathetic.
