I was just there for the first time. And asked the girls what was good. Loved their recommendation. The zinger was amazing. A bit spicy for me as I dont eat spicy. Next time, I will try the regular. Their burger was great. Beef patty with all the fixing. Love how the mushrooms were so thinly sliced. Delicious. Their wings were on point. And I had the mascara fries and loaded fries. All Delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Their motto is "Halal served right," and I have to say that they are seeming to do it right. Not only do they have the HMS certificate, but the food I got was quality, and so was the service. I ordered the sheikh's original (burger) as a combo, including fries and a drink. The young man brought the food to my table shortly after ordering, and the burger tasted fresh and delicious. The fries are the thin "shoestring" kind, which, in my opinion, they should consider changing, but that's my personal preference, and they were fresh and tasted good enough nonetheless. Overall great experience.

I drive in from Manhattan just to enjoy the best burger and bun in the city. A huge hand made beef patty, a delicious real bun along with great cheese and a real tomato and toppings...Imagine that. Blows away all of the competition and I mean all ofthe popular burger joints as I've had them all... The service is great everything time e too...

This is so close to being a six star place. What I liked was these were thicker smash burger almost hybrid. They had those crispy edges but had a nice bite to it. Loved the toppings and they were not greasy. I also order a chicken sandwich which was impeccably cooked. Moist inside, crispy and great bun. One of the best chicken cooked. The only thing keeping it from that extra star is it needed more seasoning. Something to make that amazing mouthful joyful. I could taste a hint of their sauce and the toppings but I really wanted the meat to have more flavor. Best analogy was a meat ice berg lettuce salad. I’ll be back to check though cause this could be that spot. Soooo close. Service was great. Place was clean. Place was packed for good reason.

Foods excellent. But the young lady who is the cashier needs to pay a bit more attention. She flood my food with hot sauce. So I couldn't enjoy or finish it. But will recommend.

I AM

Lately quality of service, which includes food, customer service, and hospitality has been reducing. I’ve been coming here for over a year now and I’ve seen a decline in how Customer Service has handled here. The screenshot shows a picture of my signature special which I order often. This time around it came with way more mayo than I anticipated and it also Was partially cooked. I immediately returned the burger and was granted a new one, but this did take time away from my lunchtime, so be mindful to look at your order prior to getting settled and comfortable. I hope they can improve.

This place is just okay. I appreciated the cleanliness of the place. The service was decent, but there was a small hiccup with my order. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings, but I'm almost certain I received lemon pepper wings instead. When I pointed this out, there was a bit of debate, and they insisted it was garlic. While they weren't terrible, they weren't what I had ordered, and I wish they had taken steps to fix it instead of debating it. It seemed like the cashier may have simply claimed it was the right order to avoid dealing with the issue initially. I did notice him later double-checking with the cook, but by that point, I had decided to let it go. My husband ordered the original burger and said it was it okay and lacked some flavor. Overall, Sheikh Shack was okay, but it could have been better.

I love hamburgers and lamb over rice but what I don't like is when they change your orders for something different. Please check two times before you get your order

The food quality is very poor. The meat does not taste fresh and the burgers are not made well. The staff seems more focused on flirting and changing girls at the counter than caring about the food or customers. Very unprofessional place. They need to focus on food quality and service.

The new staff is horrible! I placed a order ahead of time since I was driving over 30 mins to pick up the food and when I arrived they had no clue of my order so I had to wait every longer, after waiting long and getting the food I asked them if they labeled the sandwich that has no onions and of course they didn’t pay attention when I clearly told them no onions, when I placed order I specifically told her no onions and they disregarded it so I had to wait even longer for them to make a new one with no onions, this has to be a joke right? horrible

We’ve visited this place three times, even driving over an hour to get here, because the food is good, especially the burgers. Prices are fair (a little above average, but reasonable for the quality), and we never minded paying. But today was very disappointing. Our 7-year-old daughter needed to use the bathroom, and we were told “we don’t allow it unless it’s an emergency.” I explained that for a child, when they say they need to go, it is urgent. Adults can wait, but kids cannot. The response was repeated, “only if it’s an emergency.” Not only is that insensitive, but in New York, if a restaurant has more than 20 seats and serves dine-in customers, the law requires that public restaurants provide restrooms for all customers. Customers cannot be refused access, even for a child. The relevant laws include: • NYC Administrative Code §403.3 – Requires public toilet facilities for employees, visitors, and customers in establishments open to the public. • NYC Health Code §81.22 – States that food service establishments with 20 or more seats must provide restrooms for patrons, and they cannot require access to go through the kitchen or food prep areas. • New York State Public Health Law §1352-A – Mandates that establishments where food is sold for consumption on the premises and with 20 or more seats provide appropriately maintained public toilet facilities for customers. Even if the staff didn’t know the law before, they should now, and I hope they act immediately. Other issues also reflect a lack of basic customer care: • No sink to wash hands, only one sanitizer bottle at the counter. • No salt and pepper on the tables, you have to ask the cashier each time, instead of packets or table shakers. - sauces for rice over chicken and the other platter should also be provided at each table so customers can add as much as they need instead of keep asking the counter each time they want more. There accommodation are relatively cheap and can be provided with small tiny bottles. - wings are actually HALF a wing counted as one full Wing!! which is definitely not with the price! (Check attached photos) These items in the picture were $75 (not bad expect for the “chicken wings” : 1 regular burger 1 special burger (just a bit more meat and maybe a piece of jalapeño) adds like $2 compared to regular burger 1 chicken over rice. 2- orders of regular French fries 2 order of (supposedly 6 wings) but again, they HALVES. Not full wings. 2 milk shakes 2 small cans of soda (not the 330 ml) but the smaller ones. (Mini cans) probably the 250ml not sure. We’ve spent a decent amount here over multiple visits, but after today, we won’t be returning. Respect for customers, especially children, and compliance with basic health and safety laws (including providing restrooms for all restaurant customers) are non-negotiable. Hopefully management takes this seriously and makes the changes needed. One man was nice enough to ask if everything was okay while bringing the food to the table. I hope they consider this review as a constructive feedback.
