White Castle is a little castle with a lot of choices. You can get beef, chicken or fish. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. They hit the spot late on a Friday night. They are the perfect food for a hangover. And when these scaredy cat punks open up the nightclubs again, they will be the perfect food after you stumble out of the club at 5 am. I thoroughly enjoyed this bag of burgers I got today.

The service and food were great. Clean environment. However, there were a few homeless people sleeping in the restaurant.

Ordered online through the app to pick up later with a lot of customizations. Unfortunately, their internet went down so they didn't see the order earlier when I arrived ready to pick it up. In compensation they offered me a free drink and worked on my order as quickly as possible. Sucks I had to wait but they were polite enough that I didn't mind.

This White Castle is great. Service is good and quick. The impossible sliders are amazing!!!! This should always be on the menu. The restaurant is usually clean, and the staff are responsive to prompts to use the restroom. I have seen a bunch of Interesting characters in this store. However, no one that seemed really dangerous.

Love this neighborhood WC. Been here for years and never disappoints. Drive through can get crowded but when open the inside can be the better/faster option. Don't be afraid of the folks that may be wondering nearby. Milkshakes are the bomb. May order from Doordarshan now that I'm writing this review at 1:30 am. Lol

Yesterday I went to two white castles one on hillside Ave and 175 st the get horrible review they gave me a dried out 20 cheeseburgers the burgers they gave me wet left on the grill so long they were dried out andl i travel so far to get them out would have cost me more to return them dope being sold right in front so be careful very careful going on and out...... White Caste dining room is finally back open. For the last two years customers had to order through the window for cars, and that was not good. An old fashioned delight the sliders are still good. I got a number 1 which included 4 cheeseburgers, small fries and a small drink for $7.79 plus tax. I tried their impossible sliders are they are simply delicious. Taste like a burger, but no meat. Just be aware that they cost double the price of a traditional slider. Not to bad if you are craving a burger.

I haven’t been there physically In years but it’s been in the neighborhood since I’ve grown up! Impossible sliders are amazing! Fries and fish sliders are cool with cheese sauce on the side. Chicken ring and regular sliders are good as well. Milkshakes too (i had chocolate)

Service wasn't the quickest but food was alright. We ordered a case and it took more then 20 minutes to receive even though we waited in drive through line for at least 6 cars ahead of us.

It is a classic fast food establishment with long history! My first taste of a small burger...which leads you to have 2 or 3. My current favs are clam strips, double cheeseburgers and fish sandwich with cheese. I enjoy the products however there is always such slow service...need 3 cashiers and a few additional workers to move it out.

This is a good white castle for a few reasons. This is the only one on the jamaica queens side of town .Plus there classic cheese burgers ,are legendary, I have been eating them since I was a kid. And believe it or not it was at the same white castle.the taste never gets old no matter how long it has been since I have had these burgers. The atmosphere over there is decent. You have a little eating area there ,that is not that big.this place also has a drive thru window, that is a plus for the all the drivers out there. The staff was pretty cool, and friendly when ever I have been there. So not to mention this white castle is a landmark on hillside ave. A fixture up there for decades. I know there aren't that many white castle left around in the area, that what makes this one so great. So new generations can experience what I did when I was a kid coming to white castle, it was a really good time.

Food was fresh but employees were a little un-friendly. But overall the food was good and the food came out at a responsible time. Would've been even quicker had they not had their friends at the drive-thru window chit-chatting.

This is the 2nd White Castle location I visited during my stay in New York. Building was nice but there were undesirables hanging just outside of one of the two entrance doors. There were more undesirables inside at a table where they appeared to be selling something from the first table to the left when you walk in. They were talking loud and cursing at just after 8 a.m. I walked in with another customer and we both stood for a couple of minutes deciding on what to order. Nobody was at the counter that whole time. After a couple of more minutes the other customer and I were wondering if anyone was working. Then we notice a lady sitting in the back in her phone. She looks up and sees us looking at her, then comes to the counter. She was nice. I’m sure she was over the foolishness that goes in the that lobby area. A homeless looking man comes in and asked her for a cup of water (obviously not the first time because he said last time) while I was ordering. I was impressed at how fast they prepared 20 burgers for me and 20 burgers for the other customer that early in the morning. While I waited for my food listening to the undesirables loud, vulgar conversation inside the store, a drug addict with a stench entered the other door with a empty bottle and helped himself to free drinks from the drink dispenser in the lobby. Obviously these people are regulars. I heard the undesirables at the table say “here she comes” before getting up and opening the door for a female drug addict in a wheelchair to come in. The lady in the wheelchair rolls up to the counter and puts a five dollar bill on the counter and asks for a coffee with 2 creams and 3 sugars. At this time my food was ready. Out in the strong urine scented parking lot I witnessed a drug transaction. The food was good, the service was decent, but the atmosphere was terrible which is not the fault of White Castle, it’s just the area. This location wouldn’t be my first choice.

It's White Castle! And a pretty good one at that. We got a Crave Clutch and some mozzarella sticks. We had to walk behind cars in the drive through to make our order, but the staff were kind and accommodating despite how busy things were. The cheddar cheese is the best cheese.

Employees can be a bit standoffish and might get your order a little wrong if you don’t catch it, but they are pretty fast when it’s not a lunch rush or something. Most importantly, food itself is as good as that of any White Castle.

Went during late evening, staff did not seem too happy. Maybe they were understaffed. Had to ask more than twice for napkins, condiments. French fries and onion ring containers only filled half way.

I went late at night. The drive thru server was a bit abrasive. Maybe she was tired🤷🏽‍♀️ I had the 1921 burger....nothing amazing. And the prices have skyrocketed

White Castle burgers are always good. Though service here can be a little lackluster at times. We all have bad days but sometimes I feel as if the staff has been forced to work there and they give not so great service in retaliation.

A pretty decent White Castle as far as food goes, the food is good however the place is a pig sty. Kinda makes me question about the overall cleanliness of the place. Service is typical of any fast food joint, nothing to write home about. Just came over here for lunch after a visit to the doctor's and while this isn't a bad place, the WCs in Ozone Park and Elmhurst are better.

I gave this establishment 3 stars because the food joint needs to be cleaner (floors and tables are always dirty) and the staff need to adjust their attitudes. I don't come here much and I hardly eat inside but I always tell them the tables are dirty. I came to try the plant based burger which I did enjoy.

As far as the service, since I went through the drive thru was actually fine and the lady was fairly pleasant. Now as far as what I tried to have, which was one of those new white castle savory and western BBQ sandwiches they were so disgusting. I literally bought 6 for the family and tasted mine and threw it all out. It literally tasted like I was eating rubber and the texture was so awful. Again, as far as the customer service that was fine.

Wow! Visited the WC on Hillside Avenue in Queens on Monday, May 8, 2023 around 11:30 am. The cashier was overwhelmed by simple orders, while being asked by customers multiple questions, while worrking the drive thru. My order was mixed up twice and the customer behind me was trying to rush me to place my order when the cashier stepped away from the counter. It was so obvious that she was tired and overworked and her manager had to step in and take over her duties. Since that was my first visit, it will be my last. Too much confusion and less than efficient service.

Customer service and the food that I left with was good. Please adjust your app settings to show that this location is open for online ordering. Another thing is that you turn off your grill way too early for the impossible sliders. I love those sliders but when I go there from work on lunch break on the night shift the grill is already off by 1:00 a.m. when you close at 3. Please fix this so I could give you a 5 star rating once again. This happened to me twice. The place was busy. Why would you have the grill off that early?

The last time I had White Castle in Jamaica New York I was 11 years old. So that was 23 years ago. But I will say this. I tried the impossible Burger which is plant-based product that tasted really good. The fried chicken burger was not good at all and just tasted like Grease from the fryer. The fries were decent but I added Ranch and I believe bacon crumbles to it that was not so tasty. I didn't think it was possible to have Ranch that as an imitation flavor?

This fast food restaurant , has very professional, respectful, and curteous staff. One of the most annoying things that really disturbs me is that the bathroom almost always is dirty, there's toilet paper on the floor, there's always an unpleasant odor in the bathroom.

My experience at this White Castle was not pleasant at all, to say the least. The people waiting patiently to receive their food , were subjected to rude behavior by other young customers making rude, and unnecessary comments about other patrons.

On 10/28/22 I ordered through the drive-thru the person who took the order was nasty and short. Her attitude was horrible like I’ve done something to her. To make matters worse the food was awful the cheeseburgers was wet and soggy. Onion rings old and cooked hard. And the soda was seltzer water. I hadn’t eaten all day and had a long ride home. Food was really good. 9.5 but the lady at the register was very nasty she had a hijab on and looked sort of young. She had such the nastiest attitude ever. Boy who was taking orders was clueless. If you’re mad don’t take it out on the customers!!! Stay mad.

Food wasn't very good. The quality of (this) White Castle has dropped in recent years. This location was pretty dirty. The attendants didn't know how to work the register. Communication was a little difficult as well. The women's restroom wasn't available and the male restroom was in kept. Not a good look for this location. At least the fries were good. The helpings were huge too.

This place is alright however at night they are SEVERELY lacking staff. Usually there is only one person working both the drive thru and register which leads to extremely long lines and wait times. This is ridiculous because the point of a drive thru is to get your food quickly! I always spend 25-30 minutes here waiting for my food any night I decide to stop by. Instead, I was confronted by a chubby lady at the front counter who exhibited an astounding lack of manners, displaying an air of rudeness and unprofessionalism that simply cannot be ignored. It is frustrating to witness how this once-proud establishment has let its service standards deteriorate so drastically. Long gone are the days when the employees greeted patrons with warm smiles and went the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Now, it seems that their top priority is making customers feel unwelcome and disgusted by their lackluster demeanor. Moreover, I find it utterly disappointing that White Castle no longer values the importance of customer retention. I, for one, will not be wasting my hard-earned money on a return visit to this establishment. When a business fails to recognize the significance of loyal customers and instead treats them with disdain, it is clear that their priorities lie elsewhere. In conclusion, my previous positive experiences with White Castle are now tainted by its current state of poor service. When it comes to white castle, you really can't say there's a difference between taste. It's all pretty much the same. Now for the service, my last visit was horrible. The person taking orders kept rushing me and wasn't clear with her communication.

White Castle is giving free meals for healthcare worker so I thought I give it a try. I order my combo meal and showed my hospital ID and food was given without a problem. I pulled over and took a bite of the burger and I can't believe what they are doing. The burger and bun was hard as a rock. They are saving and serving all the old and stale food for the healthcare workers. I am so disgusted on how they show their respect to the front line staff who have been working hard saving lives in this crisis. I came to order the mix and match for the sliders. I’m at the drive thru trying to place the order the worker had a hard time hearing so she started yelling I can’t hear you what do you want me to do?! This place used to be great until they opened a methadon clinic nearby. Now you have people loitering, open drug sales, and boisterous behavior. I go out of my way to avoid this place before noon. People make a purchase , hang out here and nod out for 1-2 hours. Your kids should not see this. The management is powerless over the problems..

Came to this location to get some food for the family, but place was locked up....at least to walk-in customers, yet the drive thru service was still operating. I don't know what's going on, but if you're going to be doing stuff like that, you need to post up a reason why. That's not cool.

Terrible service while ordering drive through. There are better ways of explaining to customers on the availability of an item. The lady that spoke to me had bad attitude, did not give me a chance to express my order or concerns and just kept going on how they only have sweet tea bottled water and etc. I didn’t catch her name but she sounded very rude and I will not be coming to this location again. It seemed like she hated her job here and was trying to show her frustrations to the customers while taking their order- terrible she should get fired right away. I can tell you there is a bit difference of service getting food at the hillside Ave location Vs getting it at garden city. Do your due diligence.

The White Castle restaurant was open 9:15 PM door open. We go in they ask how I got in walk in door it was open they tell one girl to go to register and she doesn’t know how to key in register calls medium height white woman she proceed to treat us with attitude and tells girl don’t take order. Employees are really rude, I asked them if the chicken rings are boneless, they ask, “What kind of question is that?” And then, a customer needs help with the card and stuff. When I order first time , they just deliver soda without food but that was ok. So I just call them to ask them bring me the food. Do You guys know what they say? ZERO stars because the service & treatment at this location is absolutely horrible. The franchise owner should know what is going on here is obscene. I visited 4/29 Absolutely horrible service & 30 minutes on the drive thru and im telling the person who is yelling and cursing at the uber eats delivery .Extremely unprofessional... You dont hold up a line to go scream & yell at the food delivery personal, call them inside and speak to them privately and keep the line flowing. Every time I go for a late night back this same philopino lady is just so rude & nasty. She just doesn't understand mute the microphone every single time she is there I know there will be a problem. I eventually went to the McDonald's and moved on. This will be my last time coming to thos location.

I went to the drive thru today and the lady taking the orders had the nastiest attitude. I simply asked for the menu of the Sloppy Joes. She replies "yes Sloppy Joes". I wanted no cheese but spicy. She tells me (as if I'm annoying her) the cheese is what makes it spicy. Now I've had the White Castle Sloppy Joes before without cheese and it was spicy, so I knew she was mistaken. I asked, knowing there were 3, "what flavor of Sloppy Joes are there again?" She replies, "American cheese, Cheddar cheese, and Jalapeno cheese." I was completely confused by this answer because cheese is exactly what I didn't want. So I asked again "what flavors are there?" She makes a loud sigh and I could hear her mumble to her coworkers "this guy" about me, as if she' was annoyed. She then yells "AMERICAN CHEESE, CHEDDAR CHEESE, JALAPEÑO CHEESE!". After this I told her "never mind" and I drove off. With an attitude like that I feel she would most likely spit in my food or do something nastier so I was turned off. Her lack of knowledge of her employer's menu was a bit weird to me as well. I later looked up the White Castle Sloppy Joe sliders which are... Smokey Joe, Sloppy Joe and Spicy Joe. This was the answer I was looking for, not the list of available cheeses. The last time I was there I guess they gave me the Spicy Joe without cheese. It comes with jalapeno chips which makes it spicy enough. Anyway... I really like the Spicy Joe, but I urge everyone to avoid spending your money with a business that would hire an employee that treats a customer with such a nasty attitude for simply asking a question about the menu. A question this employee got completely wrong by the way. If her attitude is that nasty, there is a good chance she will do something nasty to your food simply because she is having a "bad day" or just doesn't want to be there. My advice to her is tone down the attitude... it's bad for business. Learn about your job, and how to do it. There's plenty of other fast food places for me to frequent. This place will no longer be one.

Cashier went from handling cash to touching the inside of those small burger boxes with her ungloved, unwashed hands. Boxes with burgers already in them. Another employee has extremely long fake nails and I know she's not spending 5 minutes scrubbing every inch of them everytime she goes to the bathroom. Tables are extremely dirty. There's a drug clinic and crack hangout park nearby so expect homeless/druggies/mentally ill. And they're very slow. Update: Got the runs not even an hour after eating here. Just avoid. Asked for 20 crave pack. no pickles no onions, All I got is attitude burgers packed in bags and pickles and onions. Worst place. Staff doesn’t present well.

This is the third time I have order a desert with my food at this establishment and it is never in the bag. This is not the first white castle that does this but it happens frequently no matter what white castle I go to. I shouldn’t have to Head home or head to work and realize that my Food is not there and turn back. Please make sure that staff look at the bags before they give it in, if we are paying consumers we should get what we want.

Worst location I went on 4/29 late night snack the Filipino cashier was making such a huge commotion with cars back up, the lady cursing answered yelling at the uber, all without her Microphone bring muted . I waited 3o minutes. Everytime that lady is there she has some issues and commotion. This was Apil 29th after 9pm. The franchise owners should know what's going In this location. I never seen such unprofessional attitude at this location until now. This lady should not be servicing the public. I highly doubt I will return to this Location again until she is gone. The lady serving us had a terrible attitude. We went on a Wednesday at about 7pm, it was not busy at all - we were in fact the only customers there. We ordered a few sliders and I made sure to tell her to put cheese on all of them. She even charged me for extra slices of cheese. NONE of our sliders got cheese on them. 52 cents for nothing. To top it off, her attitude was horrible - when we asked what sauces they had, she mumbled her answer, which we couldn't hear. When we asked her to repeat what she said, she got snappy with us. They weren't even busy, and all the workers looked sloppy. I work in fast food so I understand many of the issues she may have had during that day, however, an attitude towards customers is NOT acceptable at all. Terrible attitude, slow workers, incomplete order given - so many reasons to never come here again. Please train your workers to show respect to customers.

The employee, particularly this short lady who I can only assume is the manager since she was acting like it, was EXTREMELY RUDE! I wanted to redeem a coupon from the app and make a separate purchase. I was literally told I wasn't allowed to do that because customers were only allowed 1 transaction. So by that logic, I'm only allowed to visit and purchase from this location once per day? I will not be returning to this location. That lady really treats the customers like they're beneath her and it wasn't the first time I've witnessed it. Just the first time experiencing it. I was so disgusted I didn't even want White Castle anymore.

This GM herself gets more upset than the customer when they have an issue. She has a nasty attitude instead of trying to understand the issue. Also, if you order on Uber Eats, most of the time food is incorrect or skimped. You CANNOT complain or tell them if something went wrong because they get more upset than you. If the GN can’t fix it, who can? GM refused to give me her name; unfortunately.. I’m taking this to corporate

So, this morning will be the absolute last time I spend my money at this restaurant. The over night drive thru cashier is absolutely rude ,extremely disgusting and disrespectful. This morning I purchased fish nibblers that I didnt open until I got home. They were charred / burnt. I returned to the restaurant to have this person burn them again and offered an attitude.This is the 2nd time I had horrible service with her....Horrible service!!!!!

I love White Castle sliders but this location has the laziest workers of any fast food place I have ever seen. In the drive through it sometimes takes up to 10 minutes for them to take your order. They say hold on a minute then don't answer until a long time after. Must be a long line ahead of me, I am thinking. After finally taking the order they tell me to drive around. And there is not a single vehicle besides me! Then a long wait at the pickup window again. This happens all the time.

I made an online order and announced myself once I arrived at the restaurant location. A RUDE staff member told me that there are no ONLINE orders and that they only have UBER EATS pick ups..... But then turns around and confirm my online order name. My online order was processed under POSTMATES and not UBER! I spoke to the manager who was hesitant in offering an apology and stated that the staff would be counselled. A simple statement of "your online order is ready" would have been suffice because there's no way for the customer to know whether the order processed as an Uber/Postmates order. It's even worst when the Resturant does not know the difference either. This Resturant MUST do better😡

Horrible service. Young girl serving gave me burnt onion rings and the double cheese burger wasn't even done. I will never go to that place again. They too busy socialize with each other instead making sure the customer gets fresh food that's done not burnt.

Ordered impossible burgers and the appearance was far from appealing (see picture). Tried one and the onion was barely chewable. Will not order from them again
