Where do I begin. The food was out of this world. The price for all four of us was awesome. The onion rings are so good. This is a place worth driving over an hour to enjoy a great burger.

First time here I got the daily special I ordered my burger Pink nice and juicy and it came out perfectly. The home cut fries we're good I wasn't expecting the thin cut. That was a nice change. Play the super busy but the food came out pretty quick it was packed inside so I sat outside which was really nice. I think every county worker comes here for lunch.

Had the American Legend and the Road King. I loved my American Legend w/ grilled onions, but the Road King was a bit overwhelming in size and underwhelming in flavor. They were quite busy, which is probably why the cheese wasn't melted and we had to wait quite a while for our food. I'd skip the average tots and get the onion rings again, with a side of their Come Back sauce. Lots of seating, friendly service, and self-serve soda.

Such a cool little place to grab some grub , biker friendly and funny menu to go with the theme. Inside and outside seating , it was quiet when we went and seat your self is always great . Burgers were great and fry’s were good too !

The burger and fries were good. Really good. Onion rings were overcooked and seemed like the oil needed changing. Service was great, outside patio was cool. Would recommend but stick to burger and fries and you will be good. 1/2 lb burgers. Burgers weren't so bad. Loved the fresh patties which was a big plus for me. However their fried sides, such as the onion rings and fried pickles weren't as crispy as we expected. Definitely think the oil should have been hotter. It was more of a soft breading. These would of been great if they were crunchy but unfortunately they were too soggy for us to eat. Other than that, burgers were good and friendly staff! Would love to come back here next time we're in town.

Fat Boy Burgers is decent. I wouldn't classify them as being the place you just have to stop at. In my opinion they're pricey, burger a little on the bland side, and bun is from any ol supermarket. A single patty burger only (no side) is right at $11. If you're passing through, headed north, and can wait for Storms in Burnet or Lampasas, you'll have a better burger and save some money (Storms Special - triple patty burger with fries - is $11. The Fat Boy venue is pretty cool, though. And the staff were really friendly. If I were a local I'd probably eat there often but next time I pass through I'll try something else.

Ok. I hardly ever post reviews but I feel obligated to voice my opinion. I hope the owners of this establishment check this. My wife and I have been going to Fat Boys for years. My wife has been undergoing cancer treatment. We don't get to go out very often anymore so when we do we want to enjoy our experience. We had really been disgusted with our customer service at Fat Boys. It had really gone downhill. And then one day we decided to give it another try and we were warmly welcomed by Wendy. She made sure that our entire experience was top-notch. She assured us she wouldn't be leaving anytime soon and she even bought my wife a cobbler on one occasion for her birthday. I'm used to employees making chit chat at times but normally it's grumbling about coworkers or just the job in general. (You can tell a lot about a person just by listening to how they talk about things just in conversation) When Wendy spoke to us, she never complained and even on occasion when I sort of hinted that maybe the job was too taxing or she looked really tired she never once said one negative thing about you or her job. That spoke volumes to us. Because customers don't want to hear about other people's problems really or hearing complaining. They want to feel heard themselves. You can imagine our surprise when we went in the other day and find out that she no longer works there. And now here we have a mediocre, young customer service cashier yet again who didn't give us just the warm, caring greeting or extra attention to detail that we became accustomed to. You can imagine my surprise when I was informed that Wendy had been let go. As a customer I'm curious why is it that you seem to get good people that work there and then they leave. I can imagine with managers like the short Hispanic lady who walks around looking like she has a problem with everybody in the world that that doesn't help. Who would want to work in that atmosphere? One would question as a business owner what steps you were taking for making a better working environment for your employees? My wife and I probably will not be going back to eat and if we do it won't be anytime soon. It is such a shame because we really enjoy the food there.

What a gimmick. This place was a dusty driveway with random tables outside. My family were passing thru after the zoo (i guess it rhymes.). The burgers were gross, with stale, buns and dry wings. We all come from a smaller towns, too - but the staff were not present, nor polite. I would never recommend this place with all of the charm that Johnson City has to offer. Maybe your brash attitude can support your biker "locals" but anyone that knows Texas hospitality and good food won't be coming here. I'd suggest you get some competent staff that aren't completely disassociated with the rest of the world.
