Cleanest fast food resturaunt I've ever been to and I mean all of the ones I've been to. Their fish and french fries are Magical!

Fast and friendly service. All food items were served at the right temp. Decent for fast food chicken and fish.

This place is awesome. If you're looking for tasty chicken tenders and some good southern sides they do not disappoint. I usually get either macaroni or corn bites. I've been to a few locations and this is my favorite. Side note they gave me and extra piece of chicken and I didn't mind one bit.

Came at 11 am Thursday morning. Food was fresh. Gave us like 6 tenders instead of 4. So much food. 100 percent earned 5 star review.

Wonderful food (try the catfish!) and excellent customer service from Madison and Sam. In fact, they all were amazing. Something you don't see these days.

I like chicken express. I would rather have dined in, especially knowing that french fries do not travel well. Service thru the drive thru was slow, again, knowing that the dining area was closed, it was like there were only a few folks working.

Patrick made the meal experience delightful. Went inside, highly recommended for married guys who aren't newlyweds rushing to get home.

I ordered in the drive thru. We had a mixup at the window with my order and someone else's. When I called the restaurant to have this corrected, they had already ready realized the mistake and had solutions at the ready to make it right. Once the correct order was given to me it was fantastic.

Went there almost every day for almost a year will still be going lol. The most amazing people work at this location and Mrs. Tammy is the most amazing and caring person I have met. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing service and smiles! For being understaffed and overworked, everyone was just so sweet. So glad we stopped by! Also- the rolls were 10/10!!! People don’t have to be nice, so it was very refreshing to encounter such lovely people.

This is one of my favorite fast food places in Justin. The people here go out of their way to help you! They are very nice and polite. The order was complete and fast. I had my family with me and my kids were in the back seat. The lady at the window noticed this and gave me something to hold the kids food (littlebox for each kid). I have never experienced this level of amazing service at a fast food place. I am amazed! Kudos to the lunch team on PI day (03.14.2023) you all rock! Yummy food, outstanding service 😋 thank you!

I work construction and go almost daily for lunch. My whole crew eats there. The food is always fresh and hot. The employees are very nice and make sure we are all taken care of. I recommend this place to everyone.

I love Chicken Express when they are doing their best and tonight every thing was perfect. Great job. Prices have gone up but that is because the cost of chicken has gone up. I was there at 1:00 pm and super fast service. Did you know that you can ask that they make your chicken or fries extra crispy? Yep, just tell them and they will cook it a little longer.

Went in for lunch today, the food was good as it always is at any chicken express. What really impressed me was the service. The cashier was out checking on tables making sure everyone was taken care of and shortly after another gentleman (possibly the manager) was checking on everyone and making sure they enjoyed their meal. It’s rare to see a “fast food” place that values its guests. Doing a GREAT job here!!

Food is a matter of individual taste and I love the taste of the chicken here. All the sides are hot and fresh. I never have to wait too long for my order and the employees are always friendly and accommodating with my needs. The gallons of ice tea are the best in the business.

Chicken express is very underrated. If you love country style white gravy then you will love this place. I used to do work after hours cleaning vent a hoods for resturaunts and Chicken Express was one of the cleanest places I have ever come across. If you love southern style cooking then you will love chicken express. Their chicken is not too greasy and their mashed potatoes are always creamy and topped off perfectly with their southern style white gravy. I even love their fries dipped in the gravy. Their fried okra is awesome and I also recommend the corn nuggets. And what southern meal is complete without ice cold sweet tea. Chicken Express does that well also. It's not terribly expensive if you want somewhere to take the family and you will always leave there full and satisfied. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered fried fish via drive thru. When I came to the window, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet at the office where 9 miles away from this place. But the staff paid for me and fed me. I love this place. The chicken was so hot and so was the side. Everything was priced well for how everywhere else is now 3 more dollars then it use to be. I can’t believe my meal here was even cheaper than McDonald’s and raising canes. The breading stayed on the chicken as well. They also have a lot more options. I love the customer service. They’re always so nice. They never forget my stuff in my bags. This place is clean as well. And you get to see them make everything fresh if you go inside and eat. There pricing for sauce is responsible as well. I really like the fact that if one tenders really small they try and account for that and give you a little more. Be kind to the service industry.

I have lived in Justin for 13 years. We have had some not so great experiences over the years but I’m happy to say we have been eating here for dinner about once every other week for the last couple months and it has been fantastic. The employee Amanda is always smiling to greet us. The entire time we are there she is asking if we need anything, cleaning and taking orders. I hope the upper management seriously takes a look at its employees and recognizes Amanda and the others that are going above and beyond. That to me is management material and I hope to see her in years to come. Justin is really growing but the employees make or break the company.

Quick and correct, one of the good chicken Express around. The tenders need to not be so thin and more batter than chicken but the hot wings are very good.

It's always been hit or miss on food here. Sometimes it's perfect, but sometimes you get old cold chicken. Tonight was much better! The staff has always been great.

Food is good. I waited for them to make enough chicken for my order and it took them awhile to get me my order but they gave me a free gallon of tea to compensate for my wait.

Go here almost everytime I visit Justin for wrk.. so about 2-3 times a month. Food is ALWAYS FRESH AND HOT. The TEA tasted kinda off one time. The drive through customer service has always been friendly and polite. Would highly recommend this location.

This has gotta be one of the best Chicken Express I’ve been to. All Chicken Express are not made equal, but this one is done well! Everytime I go here, it’s good and hot, and I always have something extra. Y’all make my night sometimes.

I feel like this place is actually managed well. It’s just a huge inconvenience because unlike ALL the other Chicken Expresses in the area, here, you have to ask for ice, ask for napkins, ask for hot sauce, ask for salt, ask for everything! I think I’ll drive the extra few min and choose one that is not so inconvenient.

Lots of tasty, greasy food! Everything was so good - just wishing there were some healthier items, 🤷🏼‍♀️ but when you're in the mood for something quick and yummy, this was great. It worked perfectly for eating in the car during our road trip. My kids loved everything. My favorite were the hush puppies!!!

It's primarily a take out fast food restaurant. But the food is indeed delicious. Service is good but not special. They have a good range of items. Enough to give you choice, but not so much that some things never get made.

Their chicken is always good but the last time I was in there their biscuits were so soaked in butter they were nasty... and seems like there were things that could have been done but they were all standing around laughing having a good time and the only employee that was working was the cook and it was during a busy time and when I asked I think I was told his name was Hunter congratulations Hunter for being busy while working

VERY DISAPPOINTED that the Bone in dry rub wings have been taken from this location! The spicy strips are still pretty good but the gravy the last 2 trips have been like Water and got tosses. The Sweet Tea is still on point. MANAGEMENT: BRING BACK THE BONE IN WINGS WITH THE DRY RUB!!!

Feel bad for this place. As a sonic customer I have to use CE bathroom because the sonic doesn't provide them. I would eat here but the chicken strips are horrible, no meat just breading. They dont do tap pay either which sucks. Its 2024 and a business not using tap pay. Hell I take tap pay for my business and I dont make millions a year like CE does. Crazy.

They are stingy with ketchup and serendipity seasoning. You ask for ketchup and they give you two. Well I have chicken fingers and french fries so how are two packets of ketchup really helping me out. I thought maybe it was just that one time but I went back a few weeks later and did the same thing. So needless to say I would frequent more often but it's not fun having to ask multiple times for condiments.

This use to be a good place to eat. Last three times not any good. Chicken cold and soggy kinda stringy. Sorry won't be going back.

Very cold inside tonight. Asked for the speed of one fan to be turned down. Response was "the staff said no, it might get too hot later.". So, their motto is, " to hell with customers, but keep the staff happy". My motto is find somewhere the customer is more important than the teeny bobber staff.

Slow service and I wasn't a fan of their food at all. Not one thing my husband I ate the other night from here was any good. We wasted a chunk of change on this place and wouldn't do it again.

Extremely unsatisfied!. I love yalls bone in ( especially thighs). They said it would be 20-25 minutes. Or else they coud give me (A) wing and tenders. I said to throw some fries in and we have a deal. I get a shisty wing , tenders and no fries ....... Ill go back to Golden chick, Popeyes, or KFC for now on. Don't get the Monday special. You think it's not a great deal but at least a decent one until you find out their idea of a 10 piece mixed has 5 wings. Update on 12/2: We've come back a few times to give them another chance, and they've done better, but now I was surprised to find out they serve Quail. We ordered an 8-piece, all thighs, and understandably waited 23 minutes for the special order. We got 4 chicken thighs that were the expected size and 4 that were no bigger than the top of my coke can. Strip the crust off and they were about as big as the thighs on a south Texas Blue Quail. I must have missed the promotional commercials.

I keep giving them a chance, and each time, they keep disappointing me. This last time, I received old french fries, hard fried okra, and hard rolls, I even paid for an extra. Each time I go there it is either something wrong with the order or the food quality is bad.

Kinda disappointed with my Fish Dinner tonite. Usually LOVE the fish here, and tartar sauce yummy. Tonite tho, fish was cold and hard/dry. I think sat under heat lamp too long. Maybe cooked ahead for 6:00 dinner rush? My tarter sauces were both warm - yuck! The Unsweet Tea is always good tho!!! Hopefully just an off night.

I'd have to agree with other recent reviews. Ordered 2 4 tender meals totaling $25 for 2 meals. Although there were like 8 tenders vs 4 in each one, they were all super small and dry. I'd rather have 4 big tenders that are juicy than 8 tiny ones that are mostly breading and dry. Not sure if they were dry due to the size or if they had been sitting under the lamp too long but either way it was disappointing considering the cost of food these days. Okra and mashed potatoes were good.

Maybe I just got there at the time before they cooked fresh food but the chicken was cold the okra was hard and if you've work in fast food you'll know when something was double dipped in the oil, the okra was or there oil needed to be changed. The mashed potatoes were dry but most of the time it is. The employees we're nice, I guess is the take away. Maybe that's why no one was there. Update, went back and they gave me a replacement meal and I have to say it was delicious. Everything was hot and crispy. Thank you very much for caring.

I’m so disappointed! Two years ago when I moved here, the chicken and coleslaw were amazing. Today I had to throw my order away. The chicken was not quality and the oil was almost rancid or old taste. The coleslaw had a sour taste- like it had been left out of refrigeration too long. I was sad. Maybe it’s a management problem. Now my tummy is hurting. Too bad

Check your order before leaving. They do not listen well or dont care. Ordered unsweet tea as I'm a diabetic ....yep get sweet tea all the time.

every bit of chicken was oily, fries were oily, and the biscuit was oily , i could not believe it . brought my mom there for a chicken dinner , cause we were hungry for chicken , what a discussing surprised we had and they even screwed up our order, we threw it all away, we will never go back there, i won't even go back to complain close the dam place down its obvious the owner doesn't care..

We just had dinner at Justin location and it was awful. We eat here often and it's always really good. Screwed up the order to start with, chicken was cold and rubbery, Fish was cold... roll was cold. Very disappointed.

We stopped by tonight to grab a quick dinner after our son's baseball game. We could tell the drive thru girl wasn't happy about having to help us. She was rude and short with us. When we got home we find only half of our cheese sticks in the container and the chicken was so salty, we couldn't even eat it. The biscuits were very soggy and torn up. It's the worst experience I have ever had.

I was the only person there 2 hours before close. Pretty sure the girl at the drive-thru was not too excited about having to wait on someone near the end of her shift. I ordered my first meal and there was dead silence to the point where I had to say, "hello?". Her response..."what else?". Then on my next meal I ordered I was told there was a 20 minute wait for any chicken. At Chicken 'Express'. Lol. She did sound much more excited when I told her to just cancel my order. Her response...a chipper "have a good night!" No wonder Google says the place isn't very busy 2 hours before close...they run off all their potential customers.

They were out of chicken and said they'd replace the missing part of my 8 piece meal with wings. Yeah, three pieces of regular chicken and a couple tiny wings was not what I paid for. Also, I think the high schoolers working there messed up the batch because the chicken tasted like unseasoned dough.

When I first moved to Justin I went to chicken e a lot. Then 3 years ago I ordered a large family dinner. They left out the corn. I went back and told them about it a couple days later and ordered more chicken and asked for my 4 corn. Well they gave me my corn ok but charged me for them. Went back a couple weeks later and ordered and they wanted to charge me a up charge for ordering specific pieces. This was my last time I went there. I now drive to Denton when I want chicken.

Never have chicken ready. Went 2 times in one week. Once at 11 am and second time at 530 pm. Neither time did they have any chicken ready. Said it would be 20 minutes. But they had wings they would be willing to substitute like I'd pay full price for a 2 piece or 8 piece meal and just get wings...need new management.

I work in Justin TX and went to their location for lunch. During peak time 12:15 4/4. Customer service was great (drive thru), food was horrible. It was cold (fries/ fish fillet combo). The fillet at the bottom looked & tasted like it was from yesterday’s batch. With the increase/high price I expected much better quality. There are other choices for lunch and I’ll be trying them and won’t return here….sad

We have come here at least 6 times in the last year. Food is good and service is too. Except when they are out of chicken. Which is 50% of the times we have come. It is so common that my wife expects them to be out of chicken. And tonight they did not disappoint. Again. Isn't having fried chicken ready the whole point of Chicken Express?

Just ordered from the location. First attempt, they got the order wrong. Drove back into town to get the correct order. They knew that they had mixed orders. Waited 10 minutes in line. Got what thought was the corrected order. Still ended up missing food. Tried to call to let them know, since not going to drive to town a 3rd time to get the correct order. There was no answer. Too much effort just to get an order right.

The food is horrible I paid $35 never again

I've been here twice and both times it was disappointing. The chicken was like rubber, nothing fresh or even cooked within a reasonable time frame. I understand speed of service but not to a point that you serve old food to paying customers.

Incompetence at this location! The person (Richard) working the drive through gave our order away to two other customers TWICE! After waiting 45 minutes for chicken tenders, left without any food at all. Yes 45 minutes!!!!! After asking for a refund, the employee(s) couldn't figure out how to issue a refund to our card, resulting in payment back in cash. Not only are we very unhappy customers, but there are more than likely two other unhappy customers who received orders that weren't theirs! Super disappointed of the incompetence at this location. There needs to be better training of service and operating the register. Thank you for ruining our night resulting in lost appetites.

This was the worst I have ever eaten at!!!! Everything was over cooked. The mash potatoes looked like they were under a heat lamp for days. There was a yellowish brown ring around the rim of the container. I almost broke a tooth on the okra. Their speakers at the drive through didn't work very good. I was going to ask the server at the window sometime but she just took my money and walked off. Nobody would answer the phone when I called.

Spent $20 in food asked for serendipity. They only offered two said I had to pay $.10 extra Per each extra packet no other chicken express I’ve been to has done this to me. Would suggest going somewhere else. If you use the serendipity. it’s salt and spices I could go to Olive Garden or red lobster and have the same price. For their breadsticks and salad are there amazing biscuits. Actually, it would be cheaper. It would be 18 instead of 20. I regret not going to them. Worth the travel to anything else. even tried to return my food. Was told the cops would be called. I left seeing my food in the trash can my money wasted because they can refuse service to anybody.

If you read the other reviews on here they mention old hard food. Management needs to read these and understand people are trying to tell you something. Old, hard, discolored chicken has been my experience here the last TWO times I went. It was so tough from being old and left under a heat lamp you couldn't even chew it. This is the second time that has happened to me at this location. I tried it again recently hoping that the first time was just a fluke but it's not! Please set a timer and throw away your chicken once it reaches a certain time. Don't sell old hard food to people! Sell them fresh food and you will stay in business. This is twice now with the exact same experience with the hard, chewy chicken. The service was really fast and the drive-thru lady was very kind however the food was terrible and I spent $40. Please do better!

I got food from here and they gave us expired Mac and cheese! It’s not a good texture the smell is awful even my 4 year old spat it out and said it was gross. I don’t typically due reviews but when we tried to call to talk to the manager she argued and said “that’s just how it smells and looks” no honey it’s not. They are gonna make someone sick

Another example of an owner doing what is right for the back pocket and not the customers. I frequent...used to frequent....this location. We do construction and need a place to eat. Instead of opening the lobby, they ha e found (and I quote) “We are making just as much money as before and we don’t have to employ someone to clean the dining area.” What about the customers who need a place to eat? What about the freakishly long lines we now wait in? You don’t care about us. We are just an income to you. Well, you aren’t making anymore income from me until you open the lobby to serve the people.
