Wow what another great find we just found here in Katy, TX. I had been driving by this place for so long and wondered about it. We finally went in, and the staff is super friendly. We met the owner as well very nice lady. We order the lobster ravioli and the Wiener schnitzel huge portions. Awesome taste , we didn't leave hungry. The cakes slice are equally huge and very delicious, the Swedish princess was our favorite. Owner makes them from scratch. This a definite repeat place for us. So if you are in the area stop by and try them out. As always support your local community owned small businesses first.

I cannot believe this restaurant isn’t packed all the time. We were there for a group dinner with the food served family style. Everything was freshly made and delicious, and the menu was much more varied than I expected. Even though everyone was so full after our meal, most of us ended up purchasing baked goods to take home for the next day. We will be back!

The pork rillete was good and served with grilled sourdough. The bread was really nice and I purchased a loaf to go. Onion soup was taste, served hot, and with lots of thyme. The cheese toast that came with it was also really good. The method of meatballs are prepared drier than I prefer but was still tasty. Lingonberry jam served with the potato’s complimented well with the salad.

Don’t walk, RUN to this place! The only place in Katy serving Cordon Bleu that I am aware of. The food and bakery items are made from scratch when ordered. We got the Taste of Copenhagen appetizer with a Cordon Bleu. The portions were hearty so we bought food home. The flavor of the dish was absolutely amazing. If you’ve never tried Cordon Bleu before, this is definitely the place to give it a try.

I studied in Copenhagen, Denmark in college and i have not been back yet so i was so pleasantly surprised to find this gem. It took me back to the cobblestone streets. Loved my herring plate to make my own open face sandwiches. Pro tip: put some bacon fat on the bread so the juices don't drain to the bread making it soggy. There are herrings (3ways) with mustard/dill, beetroot vinegar and a sweet sauce. The coffee and ice tea were lovely as was our waiter. My husband had the plate with the chicken tenders and waffle. We also ordered the blood pudding. For a sweet treat, we had the swedish almond cake with chocolate cream and a raspberry ablesiver pastry. Both were delicious. We also took a marzipan bread home for my niece's birthday. Definitely will return to try everything else. Their painting event, floral arrangements class and NEW Year's Celebration also look like fun. I can see myself coming back for their afternoon tea service, girls brunch, book reading session and for their Steak Nights/all day happy hour.

What a fantastic little family owned cafe! The chef personally visited with us to make sure our food preferences were in line with what we ordered. We are plant eaters, and she wanted to confirm details with us. How kind!! The ambiance is so relaxing here. The service is impeccable. The entrees were shockingly beautiful with impeccable presentation... I absolutely love supporting a locally sourced, family owned, and delicious restaurant ❤️ keep up the great work! Please make sure you have appropriate expectations for this dining experience: you will not find an assembly line or conveyor belt franchise steak house meal here. You will be greeted by warm people who want to welcome you into their dining area for a delicious dining experience composed of diverse, flavorful ingredients 🌻

This place is a hidden gem! Came for brunch on what happened to be Father’s Day. The food was made to order—great homemade options, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, and the service was impeccable. I thought sticky pudding was just something we sing of in Christmas carols…they have it house made here!! Their chocolate cake and clerk spritzes are also phenomenal. They have steak nights, live music nights, a nice looking patio. Great place for family or romantic place for date night toon! Can’t wait to come back!

Homely little restaurant, nice and quiet setting. Love that the music wasn't blaring like a lot of places. Cute artwork inside as well. The goulash and Grandma's ham pie was spectacular!! Will be back to try more. Edit 06.01.24: came back on a whim for brunch, and arrived an hour before they opened. The door was locked but the owner caught us before we got into our cars and let us come in to eat. Perfect brunch! She had the savory French toast, I had the Copenhagen hash. Both were prime examples of what a good brunch should be! Can't recommend this place enough. Worth every penny and then some! Next we plan to come back when they have live entertainment.

We had a great time and the star of the show is the owner! She was so friendly and talked with us about her time in Denmark and the recipes she uses. The food was delicious, my hubby loved the Shooting Star dish and the desserts were to die for! We will be back again to try more food and most definitely more dessert. Absolutely fabulous breakfast/brunch today! The food is so special here, made from scratch and with so much heart! This is a small woman owned business that is truly special! Favorites for dinner are their fabulous burgers, all their pastas, and excellent Fish dishes. If you are looking for bakery items, you really can’t get more delicious items here. Another thing we love about their desserts is they are the perfect level of sweetness. Not over the top and absolutely delicious. A Katy favorite! 5 Stars!

This is such a sweet and welcoming spot in Katy. The food is top-tier and you can tell everything is made with love. The owner and workers go out of their way to get to know you, but also make sure that everything is enjoyable—it really adds to the experience. Please note we visited during Valentine’s Day and made a reservation in advance. This menu is not necessarily available all the time but I am adding some pictures for reference so you can see what a great experience it was. Appetizers were potato blini with goat cheese and asparagus and salmon. Main courses were veal pasta with walnut butter sauce and rainbow trout with curry roasted veggies. Dessert was vanilla creme brûlée. The price for that special was $50 per person, which included all of the above plus champagne.

My wife and I have been here multiple times and have had a great experience every time. The service is excellent and the food is delicious every visit. The sourdough Campagnard is a particular favorite of mine, and the Savory French toast is excellent as well! A close third or second is the Hungarian Goulash, so rich and savory!

I was searching great european food closer to where i live. I have deeper connections and travel destinations to europe. They have all sort of great food. I was expecting similiar here but disappointed. All the meat have really odd taste and cost is high for what i received. We spend over $100 for 3 people. It wasn’t worth because we had to throw it away. Lots of potatoes nothing special. Looks like home fried beef and lamb without any seasoning.
