Very nice restaurant, good food and service. The trout with coconut sauce is a must have. But there is something for everybody including natural/fresh juices and cocktails at reasonable prices! This is a family friendly eatery. We highly recommend it.

Every detail is thoughtfully done, from the presentation of the dishes to the ambiance that invites you to linger. Took home this gorgeous plate of selection from a first visit to Mi Pueblito Restaurant-Katy while patronizing another shared business right across; Howdy's-Katy, make sure you support those live beyond their exceptionalities into their independence, 4th year Anniversary was today July 22nd. Service: (at Mi Pueblito) was welcoming; all three ladies were super friendly (one lady asked what I chose with so much enthusiasm & I know why, the taste is to be excited about) and professional. My specific waitress was knowledgeable and accommodating. When my order was ready, she walked it out (as we were wrapping up our across visit on their outside patio). Atmosphere: Everything said above will bring you back and with a friend/family. The outside is really cute, has patio tables, a bench and loads of setting options inside. The establishment is culturally decorated that represents proud, rich "Colombia" 🇨🇴; Thursday evening advertising Karaoke night, that has to be interesting and fun. The inside is also brightly decorated, a bit slow inside and easy to talk noise levels. Never used the restroom however everything looked clean. Food: Adorable, Delicious and Good proportion (I would have liked more Fried Ripe Plantains) however proportions was filling nonetheless. Will upload pictures. If you've never been, do yourself a favor and come check them out....then walk across for delicious Howdy's homemade ice cream. 🍨 (Todays choice cold brew & cookies, double dough <----today only & cookie nomster).

Came here for breakfast early today. I'd been eyeballing this place for a while because I've never been to a colombian place with such a large space, so I came in with big expectations. The place is really nice. Good seating and clean. Friendly and attentive staff. For my first time, I wanted to try the basics: beef empanadas, morcilla, pan de yuca, and, of course, the coffee. Really enjoyed the empanadas. They weren't stingy with the beef, and I appreciate that. The aji sauce that came with it was probably one of my favorites I've tried here in the States. Morcilla was small but flavorful and crispy. Pan de yuca was fresh, crisp on the outside, and warm and bouncy inside. Cappuccino was also 10/10, frothy milk, hot, not too bitter and perfect with my cheese breads. I'll definitely be back to try their other items and lunch/dinner menu. I'll remember to take pictures next time 😅 SUPPORT SMALL LOCAL BUSINESSES! 💛💙❤️

Food is not worthy the price. 3 regular diners 2 apeticers 3 soft drinks 180.00. Chicharron was nothing but pure fat, no meat at all. Having say that, the empanadas were really good.

The food is really good, and I normally ordered mi pueblito kids to go, but the meet and bean portions are getting smaller. I prefer to ordered from the one in Richmond, the portions there are bigger.

Ordered deep fry red snapper. Dry and tasteless. The worst fish cooked I ever had.

Me and my wife ordered grilled chicken and instead we got pirk steak.... to have the grilled chicken we wait 1 hours. And when finally arrive was also too dry. A place to do not come back.

The food looks great, but the customer service is not that attentive. I arrived for an order for pick up while the restaurant only had 1 dine in guest. I waited over 30 minutes to get my order (which I had ordered ahead of time). They were showing no rush at all, no apology, just seemed they didn’t care. I hope their pick up process improves because their food looks great!

I had a bad experience in this location the waitress was so rude with my daughter only because she didn't like the plate she ordered, she didn't say nothing but the manager asked why my daughter didn't eat the tilapia and she said because was flavorless. And he gave us a discount I told him that is not necessary I'll pay but he insisted. For that reason the waitress came angry and was so rude because she said why didn't you tell me that the food was flavorless and I told her the manager was asking and like we felt obligated to say why she didn't eat it. my daughter felt so bad, they should be more respectful towards the customers.

Our excitement about going to this restaurant for the first time quickly faded, as we really didn't like the food and, in addition, the quality of service provided by Miss Genesis was very poor from the onset. Even though she knew it was our first time there, she made no attempt to help us with our choice. Despite knowing that we didn't like some of the dishes, she tried to force us to leave her a tip in a very rude manner, as it was not included in the bill. Although we sincerely told her that it was not our wish, as we really did not feel comfortable, she took offence and tried to lecture us on why it was not right and that we had to conform to the rules of this country and that her salary depended on the tip, which was incredibly rude and unprofessional. A total disappointment.
