Amazing post ADK hike diner. Bonnie was your classic all American diner server, super nice. Food was very good and coffee was hot!
An absolute classic. Everything is delish. The people are amazing. And don't leave without some baked goods or a lasagna or something. Freaking great.
The food was excellent and well priced. I had an egg bagel sandwich. The waitress was super friendly and so attentive. The prices were great. Highly recommend!
Really great post-hike late lunch here. Servers were friendly and helpful. Food arrived very quickly. Got a milkshake, fried chicken, mashed potatos and salad. Only minor flaw is the chicken was cold on the inside (albeit it was cooked so I assume it was from frozen).
A "Must Stop" every time we drive by.... and always buy a few of their famous pies to bring home & share with friends.
My girlfriend and I have visited this place on many occasions and always have had great food and service . Today we went in there to have a late lunch and it was even better than before . The server Kristen was great and the food was hot and delicious!! Thanks again noon mark !!
Delicious burgers but we came for the famous pies and were not disappointed. We even took home some homemade jam that is delicious.
Best home cooking around! The food is so fresh and delicious! We stop 2x a year EVERY year for two specific baked goods.. 1. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies 2. Cinnamon Buns with Nuts They stopped MAKING THEM!!!!!!! These items brought joy to the car rides and hotel stays! Someone said it was because of allergies people complained about? Well one thing this restaurant does really well is LIST and LABEL all products! If you have an allergy… don’t buy it! Not fair for the rest of us! The other must have that is always sold out is the pumpkin muffin! I managed to snag 2 today and will try the GF ones later! Thanks to the lovely staff who is so patient with drop ins like us who come in with eager eyes and hungry bellies! Please bring back the oatmeal cookies!!! 🍪
I love corned beef hash, but it's rare that I find really good stuff. At the Noon Mark, it's fabulous! Fresh and properly spiced, delicious. My husband loved his meal, too. The wait staff was busy but never inattentive and always cheerful. The new owners (as of a few years ago) have supported the long-time employees, knowing that they are what makes this diner great. Also, the pies are flat-out amazing.
A classic American diner with great food and pies in the Adirondacks High Peaks region. Kind staff, friendly to hikers, and a large menu. A great post-hike meal and a stop to grab a pie to bring home to your family from Keene Valley.
Simple food well executed! Great service, everything is served hot and fresh.
Local gem in the Adirondacks serving breakfast all day in addition to diner staples we all know and love. Attentive waitstaff and owners combined with high piled plates of quality food make this place a hiker's dream come true
Good breakfast at a good price! I was given a bit of homemade jam for my toast and I took some home! We love diners - this one is a jewel.
I had French toast, which was excellent. Earlier in the week we took three of their pies to a family dinner at Adirondack Loj. I can't wait to eat here the next time I'm in the Adirondacks.
Absolutely wonderful place for breakfast, the food was on point, and our server was super nice . Definitely would go back again and try some other things . The cinnamon roll was absolutely fantastic FYI highly recommend it
We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from a skiing weekend. The food was phenomenal. I everything was fresh and much it made on premises. The homemade strawberry preserves were a highlight. I had the hash and eggs and they did not disappoint. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!
Fantastic & friendly service. We showed up with a large group for breakfast and the service as well as the food was fantastic. Great omelets. Tasty pancakes and waffles. We also took advantage of several options for take home pies, lasagna and quiches. All very tasty!!!
We just love this place! Food is delicious, service staff is on point, and it’s just an all around wonderful diner. Kristen is the absolute best! Her smile brings everyone happiness. We’ve been coming here for years now and seeing her makes my day. Oh, and there’s always room for pie
Loved this place. Food was spot on. The young man taking everybody's order was awesome. Seemed like a walk in the park for him even when it got busy. Bread was really good on the grilled cheese. Plenty of bakery items to take home too.
We love this dinner and stop at least once when we visit the adirondacks. We are usually there for breakfast. It is quaint with friendly service. I LOVE the pie! I usually take a couple pieces to go to eat after hiking and I never regret it. They make my favorite, strawberry rhubarb!
Awesome staff, great food and when walking through the doors it reminds me of going to grandmas - who could ask for more! We never pass by without stopping in. Their homemade pies are like taking a bite out of heaven. Our fav is the cherry peach - highly recommend - but we’ve never had one yet that we didn’t enjoy and we never leave without taking at least one home.
A staple in Keene Valley for home made breakfast and lunch for many years. Lots of homemade pies and bread, and other dishes as well. Gluten free options also available. I had meat lasagna that came with soup or salad (I had french onion soup). Home made jam for toast is delicious. Many choices of bread to choose from, raisin, rye, white. Coffee with free refills. Always friendly staff.
Let me begin with the fact that the food here was top notch for a local diner spot. I got the two pancakes with a side of bacon and a hot chocolate. Pancakes weren't too dense, and combined with the local maple syrup, made for a delicious and filling meal before we hit the road. Also got a cinnamon roll to go which I heated up when I got home—it was one of the better cinnamon rolls I've ever had. However, the service here was not ideal. Granted, we rolled in on a Sunday at peak brunch time. We got seated at the bar area, and our waiter had a lot of energy. Food took probably 30-45 minutes after we ordered, but it was clear their kitchen was just backed up. Nonetheless, the food quality, even for the slightly pricy breakfast options (bill after tip ended up around 50 bucks for a party of 2), makes this place a 5 star spot.
Classic breakfast and lunch spot. Too bad they dont stay open for dinner anymore. I had a slice of pie with my breakfast and it was DELICIOUS.
food was great, very quiet and cozy atmosphere, customer service was phenomenal and friendly. would recommend
We came when there was not a lot of people. Our food came out fast and was absolutely perfect. The drinks were refreshing and the waitress was very nice. I will definitely come back again.
A great place for a meal, pie or coffee after a long day hiking or just passing through. Homemade bake goods and good homestyle food with friendly service by the family that runs the restaurant.
Spectacular place to stop on your way to Lake Placid. We stopped after our 6 hour drive and everyone loved their meal. All the staff is welcoming and friendly, it feels very homey. Thank you to the chef, she was the only one working in the kitchen and still got our food out quick, everything was wonderful!
Noom Mark Diner is doing all they can to stay current with safety of themselves and their customers. Take-outs only, with a provision to consume in open seating in the rear patio. As first time visitors we tried the Razzle (blended ice cream), ice cream cones, shakes, with sides of onion rings and mozzarella sticks - a balanced afternoon snack of sweet and savory. The dessert options were delicious, and the fried finger foods were crisp and fresh. None of the funny stale oil smell I’m apprehensive about. We also got a pie home with us. Would love to visit in the post covid era when it comes for a nice sit-down dinner experience.
really great little spot. tons of fresh baked things. great breakfast. homemade jam. extremely friendly staff
We stopped here on our way from RT 87 to Lake Placid. I had the Trailblazer, and it was delicious. Our server was very nice and we were in and back out quickly. Great stop after a long drive on RT 87.
Stopped by today. I had the hot turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy. Delicious. It came with French Onion Soup. Delicious. My wife had the Reuben. Delicious. Daughter had a cheeseburger. Delicious. Their meal came with French fries which were some of the best fries I've ever had at a diner. The service was absolutely fantastic. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend. We will be back.
Family stopped here for a late lunch… very busy, but got us right in with very little wait time. Service was great and the food was excellent. Don’t leave without a fresh baked pie or you will regret it!!
Party of 4 went for brunch on the Saturday of Juneteenth weekend. Three of us had done the Great Range Traverse, finishing around 2pm, and the other had also been hiking in the area on Friday. So, we were famished. We must have ordered like 6 entrees for the table, with multiple sides of toast and hot chocolate. The waitress was pretty surprised, but treated us well. Lots of good food, and the total including tips and taxes came to only 120 bucks for 4 people, which was a steal compared to what we were used to from NYC and southern California. I think I had one full griddle for myself and it was delicious!
What a gem! Stopped by on my way home from Lake Placid and was so glad to find this place. The picture makes it clear that portion sizes here are huge! Everything was prepared quickly and tasted amazing, the service was terrific and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!
Came here for the first time today. I’ve gone to their burger joint in lake placid recently and i loved it. Today i got their version of the traditional breakfast found in most diners and breakfast spots. I ordered their hikers plate which comes with eggs, meat, home fries and toast. I ordered sausage and rye toast. Everything was fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. They also sell amazing pies.
Grabbed some breakfast from here for myself and my fiancé. We got to sit outside on the porch area with our dog. The food was delicious 10/10. We both ordered scrambled eggs bacon home fries buttered toasted and orange juice on the side. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the strawberry jam that comes with the toast was delicious. The service was 10/10 nice friendly and even brought our food out for us even though it was to go. The photo I posted is of what remains of my meal. AMAZING
This restaurant has been a go-to spot for me for 30 years. The quality of the food is excellent every time, whether you are ordering breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I have stopped here on my way to and from Lake Placid, as well as after a nearby hike for refueling. Customer service is always pleasant, too, even on Sunday when we were there, and it was short staffed. Also amazing, when every other restaurant has marked prices up to unaffordable rates, this place has not. I ordered the chicken strips entree - a bowl of soup, side of fries, and 6 pieces of all white meat chicken tenders for less than $15. Husband ordered fried chicken - again, soup, fries, and the usual 4 pieces of fried chicken - also less than $15. Total with tip and tax was less than $40 for a huge lunch. Highly recommend, despite knowing even more people finding out about this place will mean a wait for a table.
Very nice small diner with that authentic feel of a vintage bustling restaurant. Everybody seemed happy and satisfied, and we enjoyed ourselves. We visited for lunch, I had the breakfast burger, which was very good. The sign outside “world famous pies” got my attention so I had a piece of blackberry crumb - oh my was that delicious!! Staff is very friendly despite being very busy. Highly recommend. Went back for breakfast and didn’t have the same experience so I did drop my rating on the service. Breakfast was good. We had the Hikers plate - eggs home fries and bacon. It wasn’t prepared the way we ordered it but still good. We also got a slice of pie which was excellent. I had the blueberry peach cheese crumb pie!
An iconic diner in Keene Valley! Perfect for an early breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Great post hike stop as well! I had the portobello mushroom wrap with feta and it was very flavorful! I sometimes worry veggie options like this will just be okay but I really enjoyed it! My husband had Rosie’s Reuben that a “solid tasty” options according to my husband. We sat at the bar and got to meet the real Rosie! She was so sweet and clearly passionate about the restaurant and it’s pies! We had the banana cream pie which was fresh from the oven. It was sooooo good! We also really enjoyed talking to the other patrons at the bar who were equally enthused about the pies. Apparently they sell 150-200 pies on a peak summer day!
An unexpected stop at a local hiking trail left us hungry. My saved locations list had the Noon Mark Diner highlighted as a nearby location to try due to accolades from other local guides. The diner is situated in an building that has been around for over a hundred years. The decor is chic country diner at its finest. The staff was courteous and attentive. Orders to the table Raisin Bread French Toast; Scrambled Eggs with Potatoes Toast and Ham; Coffee. The coffee was very good, the French toast was made with bread baked on the premises and was topped with strawberries and cream and delicious New York State maple syrup. The scrambled eggs were perfectly prepared and served with tasty housemade potatoes. The side of freshly baked rye bread was perfect with their own strawberry jam. This isn't the fanciest of places but the food is prepared and presented with care. I would absolutely stop here again, and based on where they are located and the overall experience, I have to rate them five stars. Highly recommended.
My partner and I stopped by for lunch on our way home from eclipse watching. It was super busy, though we waited for a short amount of time. The staff members were friendly and welcoming. We appreciated that our server came back a few times to check and make sure that she had the right orders. The food was peak diner food, in the best way. Our sandwiches were crunchy and not too greasy, and everything tasted wonderfully!
Loved breakfast. Lunch not so much. 3rd time we've been here. 1st time for lunch.
I have been coming to the Noonmark for years, enjoying their classic diner food and their desserts. I am actually not a huge fan of pie, but I very much like the Noonmark's pecan pie. If you don't think of the Noonmark diner as a tourist attraction, you will like it better. There is nothing amazing, it's just all solid diner food plus pie. On my last visit had a BLT and onion rings. The blt had enough bacon and the onion rings were crispy and tasty. I'm fairly sure that it is a homemade onion ring and not frozen. Food is fast, tasty, and the service is good. Don't expect the greatest diner on earth but do expect solid food and a somewhat reasonable price. (I'd say the Noonmark is a little pricey. It's not terrible but it isn't cheap either.)
Food is delicious for what you pay for. If your getting take-out, make sure to ask for utensils.
If you are looking for a rural experience with good homemade food, this is the place! It has the atmosphere of a rural diner, and the food was wonderful. They also have an assortment of homemade jams. The service was great and the blueberry pancakes served with real Maple syrup. There was free parking and the building and one restroom were handicapped accessible.
We love the diner!! We stopped today on our way through for lunch. Food was excellent, but the service was not the best. No utensils or napkins were given with our food order. I grabbed some napkins from the server station. The worst for me were the bathrooms. Dirty and no soap. I think the place needs a good deep cleaning. We will still go back because the food is great.
Noon Mark Diner had lovely small town diner vibes. Our server was also very friendly. The French Toast with real maple syrup was delicious, and a member of our group thought their breakfast sandwich was tasty, but we all thought the potatoes could be better.
We were in need of some food after a long hike and stumbled upon this spot. We got there just in time before they stopped serving food. My husband and I shared: - Noon Mark's Famous Club Sandwich - Breakfast Sandwich - Side of Corned Beef Hash - Raspberry Crumb, Strawberry Rhubarb Crumb, and Raspberry Rhubarb Pie Slices The club sandwich really hit the spot. The breakfast sandwich was good, but the bread was too big for the amount of egg/sausage they give you. I'd highly recommend getting some pie too!
Decent little diner. Walked in and stood there for a while before anyone said it was seat yourself. A little skimp on the bacon for 4 dollars only to get 2 little pieces. Overall not terrible though. Our server was nice although it would be nice if they just come by with a coffee pot and refill. Food for thought
Based on the food, would have been 5 stars. The waitress' completely ignored us, walked by us and didn't say anything. Then I finally said something, she said sit any place you want. Then finally someone came by to give us menu and stuff. In the meantime another couple who sat near us got up and left. After getting our food, our waitress decided to offer her personal business services to another customer at the counter. Ignoring people at the register. Service is really much worse than I remember the last time I came through.
Always wanted to stop in here, since I pass it every time I go to my brother's house. We were we were a bit early, so decided to stop. It's a typical Small Town diner with counter service and a few booths in the main room, with tables in the extension room. After being pleasantly greeted we were told to sit wherever we like, and since there was a little bit of a crowd we decided to sit in the extension room The tables were filthy. When the waitress came by, she did not bother to wipe the table. We were sold bottles of water and cans of soda as the tap system was running hot. I had a grilled cheese with homemade fries, and the wife had a burger with homemade fries. The fries were terrible, overcooked in dirty oil, and very greasy. I expect the grilled cheese to be greasy. The wife said her burger was okay. The bill came to about 30 something dollars. We almost bought a pie, as it's billed as a specialty on all of the signage, but at $35 each, we passed
The food was really good for breakfast. We were there for about an hour. The couple next to us ordered at the same time. We waited another 20-25 minutes afterthey were served. "They're training a new cook" no apologies. It was likely a fluke, but I'd be hesitant to return.
The restaurant has a cool vintage lodge vibe, which I really liked. The food was decent but a little dry, and unfortunately, a lot of items were already sold out. The waitress had a very New York–style personality, which stood out. Overall, I’d give it a 3.5/5—the food was okay, but nothing special.
Went for late breakfast around 10:30 and we waited only a few minutes for a table. Server was very chatty initially. Placed our order. Another server tried to deliver it to the table next to us - which I really love having more strangers handle my food before I get it. Both got the griddle plate, one with pancake and one with French toast. Was up charged for peppers and onions in my hash browns and had one pepper. Food was meh. And never saw our server until we were more than had way through ~ forgot milk and no coffee refill. It was underwhelming at best. No other choices though on a Columbus Day.
I've loved this place for a number of years, especially for their gluten-free pies with my wife having celiacs. However, the last couple of years we've come up short, getting to the door after a day hike on a Saturday simply to find you closed as of 3:30pm. What gives ? Is there a lack of staff on weekends?
Horrible service! Nice food! It’s my first time leaving a bad review, because the service was really really bad. Our waitress Kristen E (appeared on the receipt) We are from nyc, and we have seen busy restaurants and waiters and waitresses have bad mood. But this is the worst I have ever experience. The whole we have no water, and utensils come with knifes. When we are taking the order, super passive aggressive. Literally turned away before we finished order. I had to ask her can we order two slices of pie as well before she left. She wasn’t this impatient and angry with other customers. (Laughing and chatting with people next to us) I have to wave her multiple times to ask for some butter. She saw me but chose to not respond when I wave to her when she’s walking by. I had to ask other waitress for butter eventually.
There is no better option pre or post outdoor activity than Noonmark diner
We stopped in here on our way back home after a trip since we'd heard good things about it. It was a bit busy but not anything crazy. As soon as we walked in one of the servers told us they'd be right with us to seat us. So we wait for around 5 minutes, like I said it's a bit busy so we don't mind waiting. Another 2 top walk in and join the line to get sat as well. One of the workers (not sure if he was a busser or table runner or what) tells both of us that we can just sit wherever we like. The other table promptly seats themselves, we're a bit more confused as we were told to wait but okay maybe they changed their minds so we eventually seat ourselves. My partner is already making their way to a booth. One of the servers is quickly walking by so I ask to confirm if we can seat ourselves. Instant upset, no you can't seat yourselves you have to wait, we told you to wait. My partner is already at the booth and talking with the other server so I didn't hear the whole thing but the other server was asking my partner if someone sat us here, the server I was talking to walks over and says no, they just decided to seat themselves in a rude tone. It felt like we were getting berated for something that wasn't even our fault and made us feel incredibly awkward. We were honestly considering just getting up and leaving after that because it left such a bad taste in our mouths. Despite that experience though, the food was pretty good and filling especially for the price point. Personally for me, I wasn't too big of a fan of the corned beef hash but you can definitely tell they use real corned beef which is a huge plus, again the taste just wasn't there for me. We were going to try the pie but again after that experience we just wanted to eat and get out of there. Overall, I'd still say it's still worth a try...just don't seat yourself even if someone working there tells you to unless you want to get yelled at lol.
Pies are great. We waited 90 minutes for food. Asked our waitress three time about it and not once did she return with an answer. She was visibly pissed off when finally delivering food. The BLT was thrown together, maybe 2 whithered pieces of bacon. Table next to us had their meals delivered cold after waiting longer than we did. That waited 15 minutes before finally getting up to find their server. Maybe short staffed that day but our waitress sucked the big one! No tip.
Willing to wait 1/2 hour to sit at the counter but 2 hours invested in waiting for eggs and pancakes is not ok. And we were given plastic forks because there weren’t any clean forks. The blueberry pancakes did not have many blueberries. The syrup wasn’t real. And the pancakes were hard to cut. The scrambled eggs were not scrambled, but pieces of omelet. Never going back even if they are the only restaurant open in town.
Extremely disappointed. I guess we all have off days but there was a total lack of attention. Ordered chili and an open faced Reuben. The chili was actually beef stew and lacked flavor. No cheese. No sour cream. No tabasco. Had to add mustard..... Too boot it took 15minutes....ok whatever. However when the open face Ruben came out it was 2 slices of corned beef unmelted cheese and some Russian on top. Sent it back....nothing returned. So then 20minutes later whent the waitress comes out asked how everything is....really....where the heck is my food....she then gave me some nonsense. Been coming to Whiteface/ Lake Placid / The High Peaks for all 4 seasons (and the noon mark 1-2x/yr since it opened) since before I was born...51+ years... sadly i will never patronize them again.
server was rude, borderline scary. threatened to punch the minor cook in the back… pancakes looked great though! french toast underwhelming
Stopped in to eat on the way through the area. Our server was a new young employee doing a wonderful job. When he made a minor mistake on the order/menu another female employee came to our table blaming the employee and stating it was "his fault and he's new". She then proceeded to tell us that we were being charged an additional several dollars because of the order mistake rather than asking if we would like to change our order.I've never had a restaurant charge the customer for a mistake on THEIR end. Will not be going back.
The one thing this place may get right are their pies. But if you’re looking to sit down for a meal, be prepared for disappointment…servers are inattentive and ineffective at basic competencies like updating you on 45 minute delays on food or the lack of rye bread at 12pm on a Sunday despite having two key menu items (Reuben, Patty Melt) that require it. Servers may be untrained or overwhelmed by people who show up to eat lunch at…normal lunchtime? When they brought one of our dishes out (yes only one of our party of three received their order) it was cold fries and cold chicken. Server said they wanted to make sure we got the food as it came out, so no one got cold food…but of course the food was all cold to the touch. Server didn’t bother to check. Lazy or incompetent? Who really cares at this point. Never going back here.
My son and I stopped for lunch during a long car ride from the southern end of the state up to the Adirondacks. It looked like a cute diner, and we love diners. I was blown away at how rude the staff were. The waitress asked what she could get us “ladies to drink” and my son and I took a second to register what she even said. Then I asked for the soup of the day and she jabbed her finger at a dry erase board and told me to read it. I wish we had just left, but we ordered. The food was okay. The waitresses stood doing nothing but bad mouthing people they knew. A woman came in and asked to be seated, said she had a party of 4, and one of the waitresses said “you’ll have to eat in 15 minutes or less because we’re closing”. The woman left. My son walked over to the soft serve ice cream area and the waitress said “that area ain’t for you”. I asked her if he could order a cone to go and she said “we don’t do ice cream this time of year”. I’ve never had such an awkward meal in my life. I really regret that we stayed and will not return if we pass that way again.
Never again. Been coming here for years and today had the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my 52 years. I hate to do this, especially to small, independent local places. It took us 15 minutes to get drinks, but the kicker was the solid hour to get our food. Our waitress did not check on us even once to refill our drinks and not because she was busy helping elsewhere. She exited the restaurant to the outside for 10 of those minutes and returned and talked to coworkers at the cash register. It got so ridiculous that I had to ask another waitress who was clearly hustling if she could locate our waitress and check on our food order. I even told her that if our order had not been started that we would be fine going somewhere else at that point. Finally, OUR waitress returned and said it will be out in two minutes. She apologized and gave us the “local” 10% discount. Our food was fine, but even below Noonmark’s usual quality. It should be noted that all the customers around us experienced the same horrible service. The kicker of the whole thing was our waitress said as I was paying her at the register “Just so you know, that was not my fault. Your wait for the food was exactly as I said it would be.” Neither myself nor anybody else in my party complained about the wait during our experience or when I was paying, so that comment was extra and unsolicited. I know kitchens can get slow, but there are things wait staff have control over and that is checking on your customers and at least trying to keep up drinks. I almost never do reviews and I know every business has a bad day once in awhile, but the service we received and the final comment were totally unprofessional and uncalled for. The last thing you want to do on vacation is write a review on a restaurant, but experience warranted it.
People and atmosphere are nice - food (pancakes, omelet, other breakfast foods) was truly bad - not only poorly prepared but also delivered cold. I’d recommend avoiding the place, at least for breakfast.
GO ELSEWHERE!!! Food was bland and burnt. Hostile and rude service by one lady who was not our assigned server but kept interjecting herself into the situation. Our main server (who was fine) did not bring out what we had asked for (they gave one of us 3 poached eggs instead of 4). We mentioned it, and this lady came in and argued that "the cook" did in fact give us 4 eggs. Then, after back and forth all over just one missing egg, they finally brought it out after we had finished eating and we didn't want it anymore. And then they had the guts to charge us for it as an add-on on the receipt, as if we asked for it as a side on top of the original extra egg charge. And of course, they charged our party of 5 a 20% gratuity despite stating on the menu it only applies to parties of 6 or more. If it isn't obvious, they cannot do this, its against NY state law. Probably because they knew what kind of tip they deserve with that service. Lady gave us a nasty comment at the end while delivering the egg just before we were about to pay as if it was our fault they didnt give us the correct order, We didn't say anything to them to warrant that kind of remark. We would had argued against the charge but we were too tired from our multi-day hike. Stay away and drive into Lake Placid instead, or just anywhere else. I hate to write reviews, especially to smaller local establishments, but this place was so terrible I had no choice.
Hostile employee extorted an extra item charge and gratuity. We had pleasant interactions with our waitress, but there were a few errors when our food arrived. After my friend politely sorted things out with our waitress, she delivered the rest of our order except for my friend's poached eggs. He didn't mind and said nothing of it. After our waitress had cleared our table, a different employee arrived with the missing egg and verbally accused my friend of lying in a very rude tone as she left. She then double-charged him for the egg and automatically added gratuity to our check, even though our group was not large enough for automatic gratuity to apply. Our table was never asked any questions or given details of how or why this other employee decided to involve herself, only a hostile remark we were not given a chance to reply to, and extra charges on our check.
We stopped here for a late breakfast after reading reviews about the food and pies. One of the worst breakfast’s I have had. Home fries were burnt tasting, bacon was over cooked and crumbly and French toast looked liked sliced white bread(I thought it was an end of the loaf) that was cooked dark brown on the outside and raw on the inside. My wife’s BLT was ok but the French fries were soggy. Wouldn’t even try the pies after that.
