Best pizza in the San Antonio and surrounding, however Maar's is also our favorite. Bella Sera had a romantic feel and the wait staff is super friendly. Pizza came out 15 minutes after we ordered and we had 2 baskets of their yummy bread. They also have a good selection of Italian and other bottled beers.

The Italian food is delicious and I have never had a bad meal. I love the spaghetti with meat sauce. Their tomato sauce is particularly delicious. This time I had the eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti. My friends love the Alfredo sauce dishes. They also make delicious pizza. I would love it if they added a small individual size pizza. Their rolls are soft and hot. The portions are generous. Myra made our experience particularly special at my last visit. She was attentive and helpful. She provided extra special care from taking our order to the offer of dessert at the end.

A few coworkers and myself wanted to try this place out. The food was very delicious and the lunch menu was priced at a great value. I had the chicken Alfredo. There was plenty of sauce. The bread they bring is also very delicious. I had to get extra to mop up the extra Alfredo sauce. If you ask for extra garlic for the bread they give you a nice bowl. I’ll return in the future.

After a long drive up from South Texas, we did a quick search of restaurants in the area on the way to Ingram. We figured we couldn't go wrong with Italian and boy, were our expectations exceeded! My wife had the veal picatta and I had the Tortellini Michelangelo. We paired our meals with a sangria for my wife and a cabernet sauvignon for me. This was the absolute best Italian meal I've ever had and we can't wait to return. The waitress was super sweet and the entire staff made sure we had everything we needed at all times.

Everything was great. Everyone we interacted with were professional and friendly. Meal was amazing. I could just have a salad and the garlic knot rolls which are soooo good. The shrimp alfredo was amazing. Highly recommend!

Stopped for lunch here and it was Amazing! The bread melts in your mouth, the salad was crispy and fresh, Italian balsamic salad dressing was Delicious and the food was Phenomenal!! Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. We got the shrimp Fortelini(spelling?) and the pasta combo which came with several different kinds of pasta. This is some of the best preparation of food I have ever tasted in my life. The bread is addictive.

Food was absolutely wonderful, tasted homeade and fresh. For starters, I had the Fried Raviolis. The sauce that came on top of the was delicious. I also had a house salad with the house dressing and minestrone soup. The soups was delicious, I ate/drank every drop wanting more. For my main course, I had the Pasta Combo. I ate every bite of that. Was a little confused by what was what on the plate because it was all kind of mixed together, but still, very yummy! For dessert, I had the Lemon Cake. It was sweet and a small amount of tang. Service was impeccable, my servers name was Myra. Her smile and her attentiveness will have me coming back to this location again, next time I'm in town. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

What a great restaurant for delicious Italian food. Hubby got sausage and peppers and a cannoli. Was substantial and came with a really fresh salad. We were staying in the hotel nearby and got to have this goodness poolside! Really nice servers there too!

Best Italian in Kerrville. My grandma is from the mother land and I know she would approve. My mom and I come regularly and we are always so pleased with the food and the service. Five stars and warm fuzzies.

My son's both went there with other group events. Both ordered lasagna and very much enjoyed their experience and the food! One of my son's was with other teen friends, dressed up for prom. We had a gathering of friends tonight, celebrating two birthdays. I had the senior portion of Lasagna, which was plenty and delicious. I love the rolls and you can always ask for more! Our server, Myra, took very good care of us! I usually order the large Bella Sera Pizza. I eat what i want and always have some to take home. It’s always a great choice and very, very good. I definitely recommend Bella Sera if you are hungry for authentic Italian cuisine! A Kerrville favorite.

The Chicken Parm was outstanding. Perfectly prepared, substantial, and moist. The sauce was house made and delicious. Smyrna, our server was very attentive and professional.

THIS is the Best place to have Italian food aside from actually going to Italy. This NOT like Olive Garden or Johnny Carinos. Bella Sera actually treated us like family. The meals we actually ordered were authentic - I know because of my own travels in Italy (Time, Florence, Assisi). The recipes are all authentic and homemade sauces. The spaghetti sauce that the kids had was a homemade one with the right herbs and flavors - I've tasted can food sauces before and this sauce was made with the integrity of Italy. I ordered a tiramisu to go for dessert and I was taken aback to the last time I ate one in Rome, Italy. It was the genuine thing. And I can't wait to return again. If you're in Kerrville, Texas and have an urge to go to eat Italian, don't look for a chain restaurant. Eat at Bella Sera for an authentic experience. Andiamo!

Food was awesome & well priced. Service was excellent. We dined on the patio (which can get a little noisy) with our two small dogs and really enjoyed it.

Best pizza in Kerrville in my opinion. Great Italian food you can tell is made with fresh ingredients. Everything tastes homemade. Always hits the spot. The sauce that comes with the fried ravioli should be bottled and sold in stores it’s that good.

I come to Kerrville about once a year. I always make sure to eat at this restaurant at least once, but usually both days! I sure wish Houston had an Italian restaurant like this one. Best lasagna on the planet! And their buttery garlic rolls are to die for. Eat here and thank me later.

We have visited the Texas Hill Country frequently the past few years and Bella Sera is a standout dining experience. Perfectly cooked to order Salmon, fresh hot bread, and one of the best chicken soups I have ever had. Maya was a delightful server and attentive to all of our requests.

Oh my gosh, this place is by far the best. There’s 3 locations one in Fredericksburg and one here in Kerrville and one in Boerne.. I would say Kerrville makes the best Chicken Verona ever!!! That is what I always get. I don’t know how to explain it, but It is absolutely delicious. I recommend everybody to try it.

Mayra was our waitress, done a fantastic job on a group of 8. I had the ribeye special with lobster ravioli. Phenomenal! The garlic bread to the table was amazing along with the dipping oil. My wife had the antipasto salad and it was also delicious. Presented very well and service was great. I would visit Kerrville again just to eat here. My wife ordered the Italian trio, I ordered the cheese ravioli and the Bella Sera stromboli. For the appetizer we ordered the fried ravioli and the mozzarella caprese which was perfect because it was cold and fresh. To drink my wife had a glass of sweet red wine and I had a few Italian beers. 10 out of 10, everything we ordered was amazing. When food is cooked with love it nourishes your body and your soul. This was one of those occasions and I could feel it. Thank you so much for giving us somewhere to relax, eat, and recharge.

Great lunch specials with a fresh salad . The service was great . The complimentary warm garlic knots were great ! It beats the heck out of burger for lunch for the same price !!

Food was super tasty and hot. We had ribeye cacciatore and the cannelloni. Both plates were excellent. Server took a bit long at times to return but was super sweet; there was a fly who hung out at our table; and the a/c was hitting directly on one side of our booth. The last reasons are why I gave 4 and not 5 stars.

Hubby and I stopped here by accident and decided to try it. Cute little place in front of a Best Western Sunday Inn Hotel. Hubby ordered the meatball sandwich and said it was yummy. I ordered the baked ziti. It was delicious. The garlic knots were soft and warm. It’s semi wheelchair friendly. Only one little ramp to get up to the front door and once inside it’s wheelchair friendly on the main floor, there are a few steps to get up to the other section.

It was my first visit to this "Bella Sera". I went to the one in Boerne a while back but wasn't pleased. It had a nice atmosphere not as bright as most restaurants. Myself, my husband, and our daughter were waited on by a young man named, Sam. He did his job well. The food was amazing. I ordered a different Italian plate this time and was very satisfied. Our daughter kept on and on about how great the rolls were. When the Chicken Piccato came out and was put in front of me I seen small green objects in the dish. They were capers, which I had no idea what they were. My husband explained and I took my first bite of my new favorite Italian meal from now on. I had it for breakfast the next morning. My husband ate all his food so he had no regrets. I had a tiramisu for dessert, that got a 10 from me and the daughter. Great service, atmosphere, and food.

This place unfortunately, has gone downhill from the first 20 times we have visited. Our last experience wasn't so great the food wasn't up to the same standard it used to be . my wife ordered a plate that came with mushrooms but had asked to hold the shrouds her plate came full of mushrooms,the bread had been microwaved tough and stretchy, my plate had a 1/2 inch of oil in the bottom of the bowl no Exaggeration. Service was awful.We had to wave done a waiter to get my wife's food exchanged.And not once did we get a refill on our drinks?Who's the entire meal. Just said that we loved this place.

The food was good, but they messed up both my and my wife's orders. Our waitress was very sweet and did explain they have new kitchen staff, she said she would try and get us a discount, they offered 10% off 1 meal, and they did offer free dessert which we did not take. I would give them another try.

This place is a little hard to rate. At first staff come off as rude. It was late in the evening I’m sure the were tired and wanted to close up.. food was decent. The salad looked tasty. Spaghetti and meatballs were good. Sauce has some kind of curry taste behind it.. I prefer spaghetti noodles over angle hair noodles but it was still ok.. a bit pricey but food seems to be getting more expensive now a days.. probably wouldn’t go back due to first impression of staff.. 😬

I visited last Sunday 1/11/26 to celebrate a special birthday with my children. We were 5 in total, I really like the food in this restaurant since this was the fourth time I had been there. The server was somewhat rude she seemed annoyed when taking out orders, I let is slide but at the end when I was about to pay she asked me in a rude demanding attitude if she had done a bad job serving us, because I gave her a tip in cash and I was planning to give her the rest on my card. She was rude and made me feel bad, I replied to her as politely as possible and told her to add the extra tip to my bill. I have never had any issues at any restaurants this would be my first time dealing with this kind of issue. I hope she gets better at serving the customers and has a better attitude towards clients. Very rude and unprofessional service.

Well executed, straight-forward, classic New York Style pizza... We ordered a large cheese pizza for pick-up. The order was ready on time, the restaurant immaculate, and the team member upfront friendly. The dough was baked perfectly allowing for that classic NY style fold. The mozzarella was salty and the sauce sweet. I do prefer a bit of spice in my sauce, but Bella's was a nice change. Recommend... cheers!

Very disappointing experience. Poor service and mostly disappointing food. We were not checked on at all after we got our food. I was given one refill when we got our appetizers and one when we got our dishes but nothing with our meal. had to hunt waitress down for a refill after I finished my meal (and they were not busy). I found a hair in my pasta, unfortunately I forgot to get a photo of that. We also got the Margherita pizza. In the photo on the menu, there was no tomato slices. It did, however, have tomato. In their defense, the listing on the menu did say tomato slices but it seems silly to have the photo not accurately represent the dish. And to make matters worse, as seen in the photo, they don’t even core the tomatoes. They just thick slice a whole tomato with no prep. I’ve never been somewhere that serves uncored tomatoes. Kinda crazy. Salad was watery as if they rinsed the veggies and threw it straight in the bowl without straining. Garlic knots were dry and seemed like what I could get in the great value frozen section of Walmart. I guess it’s true what I’ve heard. You know you are at an authentic, quality Italian restaurant when the bread is amazing. If the bread is bad, everything else will follow. My girlfriend said in her chicken parm, the chicken seemed like a premade frozen patty. And the final straw to top off this awful experience, our waitress informed us 20% gratuity is automatically included. I usually tip 20-25%, but with a dining experience this mediocre in every way, I planned on doing 15%. I understand some restaurants do included gratuity, especially with larger parties, which is fine. My issue is that every other time I’ve been somewhere with included gratuity, they let you know in advance or they at least have a sign or something somewhere. There was nothing of that nature. Please note we were only a party of 5, as well. When we brought up the included gratuity, they waitress’s response was that other restaurants don’t have the right to charge automatic gratuity, but this restaurant has the right to do so. What the hell does that even mean?! That makes no sense. I have never had to do this before, but I will be disputing with my bank. I shouldn’t have even signed it but felt pressured to do so. It wasn’t even included on the actual bill, they wrote the tip in for me! Never have I ever been somewhere that would do such a thing. Avoid at all costs

I ordered a lunch item that came with a salad. It was literally lettuce from a bag with one slice of a roma tomatoe. My baked tortellini was mainly melted cheese and my friend's chicken parmesan was mainly breaded crust and it was burnt as well. Save your money!

I went to pick up my order and unfortunately, they continuously mixed up orders, giving us the wrong ones multiple times before we finally received ours after asking more than 10 times. Two employees, who happened to be women, were also quite rude. They didn't bother to check if our order was ready or not. To top it off, when we arrived home to enjoy our meal, I discovered a strand of hair in my pasta. I would not suggest dining here.

Wanted a pizza on our road trip that wasn’t from a chain like Pizza Hut or dominoes, ordered the Bella Sera pizza - it had no flavor & barely any sauce. Tried the caprese salad & it was good though. Maybe this place has good pasta? I’m not sure but do not come for the pizza that’s forsure.
