My uncle owns the shop so OBVIOUSLY 5 STARS. Here is my 100% accurate not biased review from Khalid’s Nephew. Me! Obviously the superior nephew out of all in the world. The food is absolutely exquisite Michelin is retarded for not giving my uncle 3 Michelin stars. Khalid makes Gordon Ramsey look like McDonald’s. The food is made out of fresh quality ingredients that he farms himself it’s amazing. He owns a farm where he gets his chickens cows and sheep. They are raised in nice clean conditions. He has his amazing co workers one names Moad (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and Samir. The shop has an amazing atmosphere.

Nice people. If you're staying in, the staff is kind to bring your order to your table. Smoothies and soups are delicious. And their sausage breakfast sandwich is filling. (Added - they also keep their word. One time, I couldn't get a drink I had ordered before my train arrived, as I made the mistake of cutting it too close. When I came back in again, their morning counter guy remembered and made it for me again).

Great local spot, always a nice atmosphere, mostly light French music playing for a smooth mood. Friendly guys who work hard to make you feel comfortable. Delicious dishes too, I particularly like their Oatmeal but really everything is good, never disappointed here.

I went with a friend and had an amazing time. I had a salad (the name leaves me), and it was delicious. My friend had a turkey sandwich with apple slices, and despite that being new to both of us, we loved it! The Moroccan style interior and music created a beautiful ambiance. In conjunction with the area around it, everything felt like a dream. Would love to come back.

Roast & Co makes delicious sandwiches that we’ve ordered for a while now, but today we just got to trying their coffee! Very delicious, everything! We ordered from them on seamless and they called and asked about a minor substitution on an ingredient they happened to be put on st the end of the day (no problem on our end). Even so, they sent along some delicious pastries!

Lovely cafe, I really enjoyed my time there. I had a dirty chai and a banana nut muffin, both were yummy. I was happy to waste time here and watch the trains ride by on Saturday morning.

Mr. Khalit is amazing! I stumbled upon his shop while i was waiting for my train at Kew Gardens station. It was extremely cold day and was around the shop’s closing time, yet he asked me to stay in his shop even though my train won’t be here for a while. Mr. Khalit is kindhearted and seems to love his job. I’m so glad I found this gem and definitely will visit again if I have the opportunity!

We visited Roast & Co Café on a sunny afternoon while waiting for my daughter to finish work, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. The moment we stepped in, we were struck by how beautifully decorated and cozy the place is. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your coffee. The décor is charming and full of thoughtful details, it actually reminded us of the small Parisian brasseries in France, with its tasteful design and inviting energy. The café offers both indoor seating and a lovely outdoor terrace. Since it was a gorgeous day, the terrace was full, so we decided to sit inside. The indoor space was lively but comfortable, filled with regulars chatting or working quietly on their laptops. We ordered two cappuccinos, one regular and one made with unsweetened almond milk, which they had available. The coffees were prepared with care and attention to detail, and you could tell they use high-quality beans. The aroma alone was wonderful. The barista behind the counter was friendly, cheerful, and clearly knew many of the customers by name. It gave the café a genuine neighborhood feel that’s hard to find. We enjoyed sitting there, sipping our cappuccinos, and just soaking in the atmosphere. Even though we didn’t try the food this time, we took a look at the menu, there’s a great selection of light dishes, cookies, and pastries, and everything we saw being served looked fresh and delicious. You could tell people were enjoying their meals. Before leaving, we had a nice chat with the owner, who was very friendly and clearly passionate about the place. It’s always nice to see a business where hospitality feels genuine and effortless. Overall, Roast & Co Café is a delightful spot, beautifully designed, welcoming, and full of good energy. The coffee is excellent, the service is warm, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back. We’ll definitely return soon, maybe next time to try their food as well!

Came here after a walk in nearby Forest Park. It is right by the Kew Garden LIRR station. Very cute coffee place and cozy decor. Staff is friendly and warm. I had a flat white and an almond croissant (not too many selections by early afternoon). Coffee is nice butnmore froth than I expected for a flat white, almond crossiant had a nice crust and crunchy almond but not my favorite. The outdoor seating on a nice fall day really made it a very enjoyable visit.

Love love love the ambiance. They have super cute outdoor and indoor seating. Limited but good enough menu. The guys are so good. I especially love the latte and their croissants. The guys bring food to the table, they are so nice. You can sit inside, they have WiFi for guests a small reading/ book corner. It gives a very Persian vibe. Sit outdoor, and don’t eat the grilled cheese 😅 not a fan( or eat, idc) right by lirr station, the place has some noise, but I personally don’t mind it. On a good day I can sit there all day!!

Love the location, the outdoor seating, and friendly owners. It has been a while since I last visited, and the change in the amount of food this time around was noticeable. We ordered two sandwiches, a coffee and lemonade. The bill came to $34. The sandwiches were thin, and there was no side offered with them - you have to pay extra for a side salad. There are other locations in the neighborhood that offer more for the price I paid, so I won't be back.

One of the guys behind the counter reached reached over the card swipe tablet and pressed the maximum tip. This was the weekend before the one yesterday. Just wondering if this is a new practice, because I've never seen this in NY, or here. Not keen on returning because of this. I put in 2 stars instead of 0 or 1 because the guy with darker hair is gives excellent service.

They brew la Colombe and normally I love those beans but the espresso drinks taste just ok at best. The croissant tasted pretty unfresh more so like supermarket croissants, assuming the other pastries are similar. It’s a great location and outdoor seating can be chill but it’s hard to justify going back unless I was taking the train. The staff is super friendly which helps.

Just there yesterday and ordered Double Espresso. The price was to much for area and nothing exceptional. Ask why $3.81 and didn't feel got an answer. Today UWS Manhattan Joe and The Juice $2.94 . Weekend in Stamford Connecticut $3.00 for an excellent Espresso at an Italian place. Just saying. Retired and feel this is over pay especially a quick drink to prepare.

Ok ambience , food below average , decent service , has Wi-Fi , no bathroom and some plug points I believe so an average study spot . Bit overpriced for what you are receiving even considering ambience factor which is really what you are paying Probably wouldn’t come back .

Quaint spot, found this while I was waiting to do some work in the area. I never had a bad experience with La Colombe but I guess there’s a first time for everything. Place is clean, people were super nice, shake I ordered was great. Those are the positives. BIG negative for me; paying $8 for a shake and the barista giving the 25% extra that didn’t fit into my 20oz cup - to another customer “to try”. He didn’t even drink a lot of it & I’m not even full from what I had. Was they’ll. Didn’t want to make a big stink about that while I was waiting to leave, but if I’m paying $8 for a shake and there’s extra....I better be getting that extra. I think the customer it was given to is a regular & I can appreciate a place being great to their regulars. On the flip side; you gave me bad CS & you don’t know me or if I could be a new regular etc., etc. Place leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but at least the shake (or what I had of it) didn’t.

Coffee for the price it was, was a bit meh. 4 dollars for regular Colombian coffee, a shot if Espresso at $3.50 alone or in coffee an extra $1.50 For the price one would expect that the cream and sugar are mixed in as well. No different than a gas station fill. Bagel was pretty good, kind staff. Wouldn't come back for coffee

Great little spot for locals to get some quiet time into their day. coffee is ok, food is ok, the owner seems to always look unhappy and unpleasant the few times I’ve been there. Not many coffee shops in the area so this has been my go to spot from time-to-time.

My family and I ordered bagels across the street. They don’t have a seating area at the bagel place and it was cold outside, so we came to this cafe hoping that they would accommodate us and let us sit down and eat. Obviously we didn’t expect to sit down in the establishment without ordering anything, so I ordered a Latte for myself, a Mocha for my wife and a bottle of water. I also tipped the employee helping me. After I paid, the person behind the counter told me we couldn’t eat our bagels there despite the fact that we were paying customers. It was cold out, I had my 1 year old son with me and we wanted to eat our breakfast. We were effectively kicked out. Extremely rude and inconsiderate. I will never come here again. The person behind the counter told me it was “store policy.” How about a little common sense and consideration? I threw my latte away after.

I stopped by this store for a cup of coffee when I first arrived in the area and was in a state of excitement. Coffee tastes just ok. Nothing particularly special. Then we sat down on the terrace to enjoy the snacks and coffee we had and the bespectacled waiter yelled at us to punch him. He was never professional in any way and was a very pathetic waiter
