Steve’s might be a bit outside of Kingston, but it is on the way to the mountain attractions, so grab yourself a slice or a sandwich for you upcoming adventure, or a rest stop from hiking. I got a sausage parm. The toasted sesame bread was a work of art! It was extremely aromatic and fluffy. Paired with the generous portion of sausage and cheese. This one goes down in the history book! Just thinking about this sandwich makes me want to go back to the Catskills again!

A wonderful experience with Steve's. We had a VERY last minute and VERY large order that we requested before Steve's opened for a work event. We called once they opened to make sure they got it, which they did, and delivered it with as much speed as they could. We usually pre order large orders the night beforehand but again, this time was very last minute and Steve's handled it with grace and with great customer service. Thank you Steve's for your hard work and even better pizza!

The food trumps all other areas of evaluation (except cleanliness which looked really good from what I could see.) there are hundreds of reviews and this one will get lost in the mix, but they actually cared. It was a hot day, my dog needed a drink and they helped me no questions to find a solution, all helping even though they may have been doing 2 other things. The food, duh, it's great. I don't get people who complain that there's too much of a good thing. They expect to wrap up your sandwich to go even if you eat it there. It's their thing. It's great. It's even better that it's freshly made and brought right out to you. I sat outside with a group of 5 total. Everyone had something different and everyone took some home. We brought coolers for that purpose. Please don't complain about too much of a good thing. It's just so good.

We stopped by here on our way to a weekend trip to the Adirondacks and so glad we did! We got 4 slices and a large sandwich, but the highlight of our meal was the sandwich! We never had a sandwich that was so generous with the meat and cheese and it even came with a small salad! My wife and I shared it and we were both stuffed! The price was great too!

Get The Godfather sub it will Change your life! Good pizza. Great Stromboli. Tasty mozzarella sticks. A/c could be better for indoor table service. Very friendly staff!! They also deliver hot n fresh!!! We will be back. My new favorite place.

my god. phenomenal sub and wonderful portions. I got a roast beef sub for $15 and my company got a philly steak sub for $16. both came with a side of salad which paired wonderfully with the subs, and the philly steaks come with fries. the fries were SO good. everyone is so lovely and steve gave some good recommendations for scenic spots to check out since we’re from out of town. i would so so so recommend steve’s :)

This is hands down the absolute best sandwich I’ve ever had. The turkey melts in your mouth and the bread is just perfectly soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. I’ll definitely be back!!

Steve's is not just another pizza place... they are THE pizza place, I have had pizza and sandwiches made from pizzerias all over this state and by far they have always came out on top. They have plenty of toppings on pizzas, unique flavors and great twists on certain pizzas that some people's tongue can't comprehend. It's a true family owned business with great people providing top quality food with top quality ingredients and nothing else. You get not only what you pay for but so much more and a experience of bold tastes that will keep you coming back for more! Keep it up guys and don't let people get to you.😊🤘

What can I say but " Wow! " Sandwich heaven!!!! Steve's is an experience unto itself! Absolutely delicious food, served and prepared by their friendly staff every time. Try " The Godfather "......it's like an Italian combo on steroids. We tried their pizza once and loved it, but I just can't pull myself away from the sandwich selection yet!!! Go there!!!

Awesome place to grab a slice or deli sandwich. We stopped by on our way south on 28th to grab a slice and met Steve the owner. He thanked us and chatted for a minute. Excellent service and the slices were amazing. There was a Hudson Valley eateries event going on and we got to try a piece of the Godfather sub. It was fantastic, highly recommend. As for the pizza, I was blown away by the eggplant slice. It was fully loaded with parm cheese and even spaghetti! Can’t wait to go back again soon.

Great pizza and absolutely amazing subs, built heavy on a perfect Deising's roll. The inside is smallish, with just a few tables so it's not a full size eat in restaurant . But the food and service is excellent! Shown in the pictures is the Godfather. Prosciutto, soppressata, mortadella, fresh mozzarella, hot chicken cutlets, arugula, red onion, banana peppers, roasted red peppers, balsamic, and olive oil on a seeded Diesings roll. It was a 2 person job.

So I decided after seeing all the hype all over a couple different chat boards that I had to stop and see this place and try the food. Being a deli aficionado why not. Let me start off by saying if you’re going to order online use the Slice app the prices are half, that is not the restaurants fault. It’s just the way that these online delivery companies charge. So of course I decided to order the Italian mix sub. The sub itself is massive personally for me. I would’ve preferred to have Cappy Ham overall it was a good sub not a top sub I’ve ever had in the area, but still a good sub for the price. The bread is good. We also ordered a sampler platter of appetizers, the onion rings were my favorite. What are the member in the group ordered a chicken Parm sub which she is what I would consider the chicken parm sub expert, it was reported it was delicious. Overall, I would go here again and I would recommend stopping by just based on cost the amount of food you get for the amount of money you spend is good. Be careful when pulling in because the parking lot entrance comes up quick. The inside is decorated like a typical pizza place but it was clean.

Can’t comment about the food so I won’t. I showed up here yesterday as a delivery driver after accepting an order. When I arrived at the store, my app suddenly filled up with all caps text from the store itself: DO NOT PICK UP AN ORDER HERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FOOD BAG. The app I deliver for specifies that if you’re going to pick up pizza, you need to have a food bag. That’s as much as it says on the subject, but it literally doesn’t let you accept those types of orders if you don’t have a hot bag. When I walked up to the front door, another lovely little sign telling me that I was not going to be allowed to pick up the food is taped to the door (picture below). I tried anyway, though, because darn it, I had already accepted the order. That was a mistake! I walked in, made eye contact with a woman working the counter, and simply said, “I don’t have a food bag.” “Then I can’t give you the food.” I tried to explain how that would negatively affect my rating as a driver. The owner, Steve, I’m assuming, gets REALLY passive aggressive with me. He starts asking me if I can read. Crucially, HE CANCELS THE ORDER from his end. He says “do you realize that if food shows up to the customers cold, it will affect my rating?” I told him that there is probably a way for him to specify with the delivery company that food bags are needed for all orders, but that I had already accepted the order and driven to his store before seeing his personal message about it. He essentially said, “I don’t care, take it up with the company. Get out.” No, he literally said “get out” with a finger pointed at the door like I was a street urchin and not someone trying to fulfill an order for HIS BUSINESS 🤦‍♂️ Just for context, I definitely can read, I’m working three jobs right now to get myself through grad school to become a school counselor. I’m also writing a novel. None of this matters to Steve, nor should it, but asking someone if they can even read when you’re the idiot who can’t get your service together is quite a move. I wouldn’t recommend eating here, but again I can’t comment on the food.

I’ve been to this pizzeria several times, and while the food is tolerable, the way this establishment is run is extremely disappointing. The owner allows his son to treat employees in a derogatory and disrespectful manner. A close friend of mine once worked there and was subjected to treatment far below what anyone should have to endure in a workplace. As a paying customer, I have always been respectful and polite to both the staff and ownership, never expecting special treatment just because I knew someone employed there. Yet despite this, I was told by the owner’s son that I was not welcome inside and would have to wait in the parking lot for my food simply because of an unrelated issue he had with my husband. This was not only unprofessional but discriminatory in nature. The business had no issue accepting my money, but apparently had an issue with me as a customer without any wrongdoing on my part. I know many friends and family who have supported this business over the years, but after this experience, I will be taking my money elsewhere. It’s shocking that a business can operate this way for so long, especially when there are clear concerns that could easily be brought to the attention of the Department of Labor, Department of Health, Department of Finance, and even the IRS. It’s a shame because the employees work hard and deserve far better treatment as do the customers who choose to support this establishment. If his son truly is taking over the business like he gloats about, he really needs to fix his son’s egotistic, racial and misogynist behavior.
